Weekly spread for January week 1

& 2

It's a very simple spread no bougie stuff just daily todo lists and these spreads work the best for me. I'm overwhelmed enough with keeping my bujo updated I can't do all the unnecessary stuff just to keep up with all the "well being journaling" stuff. In a way these simple spreads are my way of maintains my well@being through journaling. Anyway it's exam season, lots of stuff to do and little to no motivation.

Went book shopping today !! I am v happy because I got a topology book for maths, and that’s my favorite field haha. I’m v excited to learn more about it. Today i got one half chapter of physics done, and i’m gonna do a bit of calculus basics revision, then a little bit of topology before i go to sleep.

For the last four years, I’ve been keeping a pretty basic bullet journal. It has been more of an outlet to create hand lettering than to actually bullet journal, but I’ve had so much fun with it! Every month, I try to make time to do a full hand-lettered spread for that month. Sometimes they're simple and sometimes they're more complex. Sometimes I don't ever finish and other times I don't even start! It's been a super fun and low-pressure way to keep drawing even when I get busy. I also love to keep track of what's going on in my life. When I was pregnant I added a section each week to talk about how I felt or how the baby was doing. Now that Griffy is here, I make a point to add a few fun new things he's doing or saying each week. I love looking back at where I was at that moment, even if it's just remembering how I felt or where I was when I drew the lettering for that month. I can't believe I've really been doing this for four years now! I'll try to take some photographs of my weekly pages to share. 08092021. Taking a much needed break today. Going to do nothing but self care. A face mask, a cardio workout and maybe biking, clean up my desk and room, catch up in my diary, and watch my favourite vloggers. All at my own pace. I told myself I wanted to journal every day in August, and so far, I think I'm on track, and I feels so good. Journaling really forces you to come to terms with the voices in the background of your mind. And I find that once I write things out what I need to do becomes clear and straight forward, and it's often the taking action part that is harder to execute. - My mom got me a baymax mug and I can not wait to read those books, university has been weird, I barely have homework, I’m not learning a lot and I’m afraid that I’m loosing money and wasting time.... I hope it gets better.

I am v happy today. I did break a lot of ground with my point set topology textbook, and i think the main reason is that i’m taking the time to understand things that are going on, for once.

Today I also got my period, and for those of you who may not know, I actually suffer from pelvic endometriosis, so periods can be draining, but i’m glad i was able to do some work today, not because I have to (fuck u capitalism!), more because it interested me so much, that it actually distracted me from the cramps a little bit. I only did topology today, and that’s okay.

Tomorrow, I might not be productive, and that is okay. It’s better for me to take rest on a day I am bedridden, than exhaust my mental and physical resources.

Hope y’all will still follow me through my journey.
