What time should you be
waking up.
You should really be using the 24 hours you have in a day to your full advantage. What time you should be waking up is completely personal and will differ from others around you but none the less you should not be sleeping in every single day.
{Getting started}
5:00-6:30 should be when you get up to start your day, setting multiple alarms may help with getting you up.
When you wake up you shouldn’t be checking social media or text messages. This is one of the only parts of the day that is best for you-time. Stretch a little bit, drink some ice water and listen or read some daily affirmations. Don’t forget the most important meal of your day, a filling homemade breakfast will be the cherry on top to waking up early, it’ll give you energy and keep you going throughout the day.

A big change in your daily routine isn’t mean to be easy, it’s meant to help you become a better version of yourself and create the dream girl you are striving to be. Stay strong and believe in yourself.

She's back and she's signed up for the month free class pass trial. First up: reformer pilates.

Healthy Morning habits 2023
• sticking to a morning and night routine. One of my goals for this year is to stay consistent and productive and get as much stuff as I can done daily instead of procrastinating as it doesn’t get me anywhere so having a routine has helped me as well a using a to-do list
• Doing some sort of daily exercise has helped me SO much honestly I’m in love with just moving my body whether that being going out for a walk or doing at home workout I love growwithJo workouts and Shirlyn Kim they have helped me a lot but I would really love to get into pilates and do something new. Exercise has increased my mood and just makes me feel good honestly.
• Sundays are reset days for me where I take a breather and relax where I clean my room get everything ready for the new work and just focus on self care and my skincare to help my mind, body and soul.
• Journalling I didn’t think that journalling would really help me but wow it does. I journal every morning and night if I don’t I feel somehow out of routine I always journal my affirmations for the day, daily intentions, gratitude etc. To help me get ready for the day.
• Schedule I love to schedule my day and try to incorporate studying as I have exams coming really soon I need to try to incorporate time for school each day which is why I’ve made a revision timetable which has helped me as I have a certain time to do one subject then I switch to do a different subject instead of doing the same one.
• Listening to more podcasts lately I’ve been listening to podcasts or watching educational channels instead of watching boring videos or listening to music I would rather like to educate myself some more also some podcasts that I recommend the mindful mentor, theplaygirldiaries, growing with jo (spotify) and lynette adkins.
• Gut I’m trying to have a balanced diet and incorporate healthy greens to my gut as well as trying new foods and to cook more this year.
• Burn out it may be tiring always staying on top of things but it’s OKAY to take a break it can be spending time with friends or family or with yourself trust me take a BREAK.
• Stay consistent with my skincare routine.

I hate these moodswings but between hormones and whatever the hell my brain is doing and my fucked up schedule i dont think it's gonna settle any time soon
#im not getting many shifts at work#and the shifts i do have all start at different times of morning#so do i wake up at 5am anyway to keep the routine or do i let myself sleep in or do i just let it all go to shit and see what happens?#I need a physical calendar or something to figure this shit out#i have a whiteboard i can use for that actually#because i need to figure out when i pick up shifts#i need everything to go back to normal and i need everything to be Okay and i need to not be so bored and understimulated#im gonna get a yoga mat or something to keep up with the exercise and im gonna go on walks

Decided I’d do the typical new years thing and start working on getting in shape. I’ve been coming home exhausted this last year so obviously my health took a bit of a dive but no big deal. My endurance is crap, but I’m generally pretty strong and flexible, right?
Apparently the old job affected me worse than I thought. My endurance is crap, but so is my flexibility. Which means I haven’t been imagining how much harder carrying stuff has been lately.
I have never not been flexible. Maybe not active yogi flexible, but I could do forward bends and curl up and touch toes and back bridges. This morning I couldn’t even touch the floor.
So yeah. Seriously committing to working out this year. And hopefully the new job leaves me with enough mental energy to actually do stuff outside of work hours.

The cool thing about living in a family of untreated ADHD is that when one of my family members starts adding something to their routine that I don't like I just don't acknowledge it one way or the other and it disappears. :)
