known we were a system for about 7 years now, probably been a system for far longer, and just realised. we got an intrusive self-fakeclaiming thought today and laughed it away
#it does get better it does get easier eventually you will not fear being wrong or out of place#the thought felt like it just rolled away like a little creek washing over stones#it used to be a tsunami size wave that would throw us around and leave us feeling like we're not fitting in or even in the right place#and now we're just. solid and sturdy and the water's calmed to a tiny trickle#this is the first self-fakeclaiming thought we've had in i think months#and honestly probably only brought on by very new system members not being used to being alone in front#(it's rare for us. we're almost always cofronting. but sometimes it happens and it's so jarring)#rejecting the idea that we could possibly be faking this gives us this massive sense of wholeness like. this is who we are. and it's right#it feels right it feels like. we're real again. we're healing and able to learn. we're doing better. we feel whole like this#sharing this body with a million others will only ever bring us joy this is home this is love this is healing this is right#i love being plural#i love having a system#i love my headmates#we're so so close to hitting our real milestone of being functionally multiple#our challenge kinda. the goal we have to say Yes we feel we have functional multiplicity now#is to just. be able to connect all the sidesystems and have dormant people come back now and then and recover lost headmates#(TOBY WE *WILL* FIND YOU EVENTUALLY)#and it's starting! we've discovered people from BEFORE the syscovery we've brought back Blank and Ro multiple times#we talked to Bee once!!!! Bee literally hasn't fronted since fucking 2020!!! AND BEATRICE CAME BACK AND SHE'S TALL NOW??#and Siren came back!!!!!!! he was so so so fucking scared of falling out of the front rotation bc he thought he'd be lost forever but!!!!!#system wise i cannot believe how far we've come EVERYONE can feel the difference Ro and Blank get shocked by how much more cohesive we are#they were used to a constantly terrified proxy host and gatekeepers that loved to section stuff off and no communication#now it's like walking into a real place for them. they aren't used to headspace being this solid#when we started out WE DIDN'T HAVE ONE we had to manually build it and it took so long and so much focus#now it's as easy as closing our eyes#god i fucking love this im so happy right now

"During a typical day as a child life specialist, we could go from a medical play session, to preparing a child for a procedure, providing support for siblings of hospitalized children, to helping create milestone activities. Every day has its own unique tasks and challenges, but the goal is the same: helping patients and their families cope with being at the hospital."

"Journey of Hope: Thank You for Supporting My Educational Dream"
I never imagined that your support would bring us this close to our first goal so quickly. When I started this campaign on GoFundMe, I set an initial target of raising £1,000, which is a small step toward our larger goal of £15,000 to help me and my family complete my education. Thanks to you, this dream is starting to come true, and we are getting closer to a better future.
Every donation from you has given me a boost of hope, and every share has been a message confirming that we are on the right path. Thanks to your generosity and belief in my journey, we have achieved the first milestone, and I am grateful to everyone who has supported us. You are the reason behind this achievement, and I sincerely thank you.
But this is just the beginning; our primary goal is still ahead of us. With your continued support, we can achieve this dream and open doors to new opportunities. Every donation brings us one step closer to a more secure future for my family and me.
I invite you to continue this journey with me. Together, we can overcome this challenge and reach our goal. Thank you!

Note: It took about 3 and a half months to get the £1000. I hope we reach our goal soon.

How to Stop Procrastinating by Managing Your Emotions
Procrastination happens when we delay doing things, and it's often connected to our emotions. Feelings like being afraid to fail, feeling worried or stressed, getting bored, or lacking motivation can all contribute to procrastination. To stop procrastinating and get more things done, it's important to learn how to handle our emotions better.
Boredom:
Break the task into smaller, more engaging sub-tasks.
Find ways to make the task more interesting or challenging.
Set a timer and work on the task for a specific amount of time, followed by a short break doing something enjoyable.
Feeling Overwhelmed:
Prioritize tasks and focus on one thing at a time.
Break the task into smaller, more manageable steps.
Delegate some parts of the task if possible or seek help from others.
Use tools like to-do lists or task management apps to stay organized.
Anxiety:
Practice deep breathing or mindfulness techniques to calm yourself.
Challenge negative thoughts and replace them with more positive and realistic ones.
Start with the easier or less intimidating aspects of the task to build momentum.
Set realistic expectations and remind yourself that it's okay to make mistakes.
Self-Doubt:
Focus on past accomplishments and successes to boost your confidence.
Seek support or feedback from others to gain reassurance.
Remind yourself of your skills and capabilities to tackle the task.
Use positive affirmations to counteract negative self-talk.
Perfectionism:
Embrace the concept of "good enough" rather than seeking perfection.
Set realistic and achievable goals for each task.
Recognize that mistakes and imperfections are part of the learning process and growth.
Indecisiveness:
Break decisions into smaller steps and make one small decision at a time.
Set a time limit for making decisions to avoid overthinking.
Trust your instincts and make the best decision you can with the information available.
Apathy or Lack of Interest:
Find aspects of the task that align with your values or long-term goals.
Break the task into smaller, more manageable parts and focus on completing one at a time.
Reward yourself for completing the task to make it more appealing.
Stress or Burnout:
Practice stress-reduction techniques such as meditation, exercise, or spending time in nature.
Break tasks into smaller steps to reduce the feeling of overwhelm.
Prioritize self-care and take breaks to avoid burnout.
Feeling Uninspired or Creatively Blocked:
Engage in activities that stimulate creativity, such as brainstorming, mind mapping, or seeking inspiration from others' work.
Start with a simple and basic version of the task to get the creative juices flowing.
Collaborate with others or seek feedback to gain new perspectives.
Fear of Success:
Identify and challenge the negative beliefs or fears that may be holding you back.
Visualize the positive outcomes of completing the task successfully.
Focus on the benefits and personal growth that come with success.
Impatience:
Break long-term goals into smaller milestones to track progress.
Practice mindfulness to stay present and patient throughout the process.
Remind yourself that progress takes time and effort.
Lack of Confidence:
Celebrate your past accomplishments to boost your confidence.
Seek support and encouragement from friends, family, or mentors.
Focus on building specific skills related to the task to increase confidence.
Avoiding Discomfort:
Acknowledge that discomfort is a natural part of growth and improvement.
Break tasks into smaller steps and tackle the more challenging aspects gradually.
Remind yourself of the long-term benefits of facing discomfort.
Overestimating Future Motivation:
Practice discipline and commit to starting tasks even when motivation is low.
Set specific deadlines for tasks to create a sense of urgency.
Establish a routine that includes regular work on the task to build consistency.

How to stay disciplined while studying for an exam:
“I would rather suffer in studying than rather suffer in grades i don’t like.” -jang wonyoung .!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Studying for an exam can be challenging, but with the right mindset and strategies, you can achieve great results.
Here are some tips to help you stay disciplined and motivated:
1.Set specific goals: Break down your study material into manageable chunks and set specific goals for each study session. This will help you stay focused and track your progress.
2.Create a study schedule: Plan out your study sessions in advance and stick to a consistent schedule. This will help you build a routine and make studying a habit.
3.Eliminate distractions: Find a quiet and well-lit study space where you can focus without interruptions. Turn off your phone and other distractions to stay fully engaged in your study sessions.
4.Take breaks: It's important to give yourself regular breaks to rest and recharge. Use techniques like the Pomodoro Technique (study for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break) to stay productive.
5.Stay positive: Keep a positive mindset and believe in your ability to succeed. Use positive affirmations to boost your confidence and stay motivated throughout your study sessions.
6.Reward yourself: Set up a reward system for reaching study milestones or completing challenging tasks.Treat yourself to something you enjoy after a successful study session to stay motivated.
Remember, consistency is key when it comes to studying. Stay disciplined, stay focused, and keep pushing yourself towards your goal. You've got what it takes to succeed! 143 !

Note challenge (revamped)
I'm getting annoyed with seeing this post pop up in my notifications.
Some people thought they'd be cheeky and spam reblog this, so I'm remaking it with the intent for these goals to be harder to reach so I can COMFORTABLY change over the course of time. Most goals are from the last one, however I added two more and made the milestones harder to accomplish.
400 - I'll fix up my intro post and add more stuff to it. I've been meaning to clean it up anyways.
800 - I'll post a few things about me. Nothing too crazy. (mod note: hcs post)
1000 - I'll try making one of those whiteboard things for people to collaborate and draw on, and it'll be in the revamped intro post. I did one before, but it flopped horribly.
1500 - I'll go through my phone and such and clean out the pictures on it.
2300 - I'll try to consistently use my self care app that's been lying dormant for months now.
3700 - I'll try to eat a little throughout the day again, and not... get rid of it.
4200 - I'll try to stay off any drugs and go through any withdrawal symptoms.
5000 - I'll try to take showers and wash myself thoroughly instead of just sitting there under warm water.
6100 - I'll try to keep myself hydrated.
7500 - I'll attempt to fix my sleep schedule.
15,000 - I'll begin the process of giving up self destructive behaviors.
25,000 - ...I'll try to reconnect with my daughter.
