I didn't want to say anything but since people have kinda calmed down:

I think some people don't realize (and I don't want to say "or don't care" but ya know...) that Damien doesn't want to be just associated with Smosh? Like he even has a rule on his streams about it lol

So like when people were sort of demanding(?) answers or reactions from him (or anyone really) it was super weird...

no matter how close they are (or how close we think they are) we are not entitled to know everything and they don't need to talk to us about their private lives,, even more so Damien who is very private 😬

And obviously he doesn't need me, a stranger, to defend him, and I'm not, I just didn't like seeing how weird and invading people were being :/

Oh the circumstances they might hate. went to the state fair yesterday and tried so so much good food !!! my favorite things were the pickle lemonade (literally my favorite drink ever since i first tried it a couple weeks ago) and the fried pickles and the roasted corn. feeling like a true midwesterner after that :-)

#although i will say the pickle lemonade i tried by the lake by our house was a lot better #it was punchier #the ones at the fair were watered down a bit i think just from the ice melting in the heat #but it’s just SO refreshing #genuinely something my dr would prescribe for one of my health conditions is a shot of pickle juice #so it was so rejuvenating LOL #it was rly fun !! my home state doesn’t have a state fair like THAT #but it took me back to my 4H days :#when i competed agility w my childhood dog as a kid and camped out to do some horse riding events and archery #and pigs and chickens and such #rly nostalgic haha #i only did pigs one year bc it was too sad #but i was a chicken girl through and through #4H is what started me down the dog trainer career path and sparked that interest as a hobby #i didn’t pursue it seriously until a long time later and have since taken a hiatus bc of burnout but #it did remind me why i fell so head over heels in love w it #something abt being so in tune w another creature like that is just #so special #we didn’t get to watch the stunt dogs tho we missed the show :((#i kinda want to go back again to see them perform #kinda feeling like it might reignite something in me and maybe i’ll start making steps to be a trainer again #i’ve been missing it #personal

If you became super rich and could design your own house, but could only add THREE unnecessary/random/expensive home additions (like how people will have bowling alleys, movie theatres, closets with museums of shoes, car display rooms, spa rooms, wine cellars, etc. in their mansions) - what three would you choose?

#I think I would have: an indoor pool (but like heavily customized with a faux weather system so I could get the feeling of swimming in #rain or fog or snow etc.). a very small arcade consisting only of skee-ball and DDR machines. and an old Library Room with authentic #historical furniture/interior design to store old books/tapestries/study room equipment/whatever other antiques I'd collect. It'd be #like some fully intricate movie set or something that would feel completely like stepping into another world/time.#Though I might would trade out the arcade for a roller skating rink.. i DO love skating....#And I wouldve put rock climbing gym because I love indoor rock climbing but.. as I understand it they have to change out the rock things #on the walls every once in a while so that you can have new routes and it doesnt get boring. and I'd rather have an activty room thats like #self sustaining and doesnt require me to hire some person to come switch things around once every month. Otherwise I would #totally do that instead.#I'm also personally not counting ''craft'' type stuff like having a pottery room kiln sort of thing because #that doesn't count as 'unnessecary' to me. since stuff like that would not at all be just a hobby I 'happen to #do sometimes for fun'#but would definitely be a career sort of thing. Like if I had the money for a fully stocked sculpture room and and a sewing room #with a good machine and etc. then I would literally be professionally selling pottery and designing clothing and etc.#so I wouldn't count it as 'just a random side room I dont need' etc.#The same way that if I played tennis professionally or as a very intense hobby that takes up most of my life/time #then I wouldn't count having a tennis court in your house to practice in as 'unncesscarry' etc.#wow that is the worst I have ever spelt that word ghbjh #Un Cess Carry #ALSO would obviously have an underground bunker of some sort with food and emergency supplies which also does not count as unnecessary to m #since it's literally like... survival.. And I thought most health organizations literally reccomend that even #the common person has a small 'go bag' prepared in their house. and like an evacuation plan in case of fire or other things #It WOULD be an unnecessary rich person thing to have a full on undergRound village or something stocked with 9000 guns and #whaetever. but I think just a basic emergency room with basic supplies could still be counted under the 'not unnecessary' requirement.#Like I would say that a sprawling courtyard of flower gardens and fountains and hedge mazes that takes up like a hundred thousand #dollars a year in maintenance would count as one of the three 'unnecessary and expensive' things. But having a small garden in the #back yard with a few planters in a little greenhouse or whatever would not. So yeah avoiding my phone didn't work and also meant I sat on the kitchen floor staring into space for about 3 hours before Alfie woke up but hey at least I didn't break anything

me waking up at 6am this morning and immediately having the thought "maybe Guz still gets angry a lot because strong emotions are difficult if not impossible to control esp if its rooted in abuse trauma BUT he learns how to apologize, and thus - especially in the beginning - he would lash out as an automatic response but quickly realize what he's doing and apologize for it and we'd move on and be okay" like it had been beamed into my brain from some divine source.

also junebug (waves. thats literally just me.) would have to do their own hard work to learn to not automatically fawn when someone starts seeming the littlest bit potentially displeased or unhappy (because that is unhealthy for all parties involved). they'd BOTH be putting in the work to make it work !!!!!! 🎉

#i keep looking at my extremely strong fawn response and idk what to do about it #but in pkmn world if i got away from parents then I'd probably have some kind of chance at unlearning it fjfkdl #u cannot get better in the place u got sick or whatever the saying is #anyways uhhhmm i think so much about them and the ways in which they make things work even with all the trauma on both sides #by they i mean both Guz and Junebug fjdmfkl #it may not look healthy to outsiders with no knowledge of trauma but it IS genuinely healthy. it is steps to make things work!#so yeah he might yell for a minute but then he immediately apologizes and steps back and they talk it out together #anger especially is a difficult emotion to handle and if you've been physically abused i think yelling is like... pretty mild tbh DBDJLDL #i feel like sometimes a person will never be able to reach NormalTM. sometimes u do the best with what u ARE able to do #and i would be very happy to make space for his automatic anger reactions as long as he recognized it and apologized for it #and im sure it'd lessen over time as we both work through our shit bc brains do slowly rewire themselves over time and practice #and he would also be happy to make space for my (likely tiring and irritating) automatic fawn response as long as i made sure to catch it #and backtrack it and apologize and then work through whatever was coming up that triggered that response #we both are somewhat burdensome but thats okay bc we are happy to carry that burden for each other as long as we're both trying !#UMMM ANYWAYS LOL. i could ramble about trauma work and recovery and making relationships work ALLLL day sdfjkl #💜a boy and his bug🪲#💜so good at being in trouble #junebug🪲
