Matcha Products: The Essential Skincare Revolution You Need Right Now
In the ever-evolving world of skincare, trends come and go, but some ingredients have staying power due to their exceptional benefits. One such ingredient that has taken the skincare industry by storm is matcha. Known for its vibrant green color and potent antioxidant properties, matcha is rapidly becoming a must-have in the beauty world. Here’s why matcha products are the skincare revolution you need right now.
The Rise of Matcha in Skincare
Matcha is not just a popular tea for its health benefits; its unique properties make it a standout in the realm of skincare. Unlike traditional green tea, matcha is made from finely ground whole tea leaves, which means it packs a more concentrated punch of nutrients. This powerful ingredient is rich in antioxidants, particularly catechins, which have been shown to provide a multitude of skin benefits.
Key Benefits of Matcha Skincare Products
Superior Antioxidant Protection: Matcha boasts an impressive array of antioxidants, including EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). These antioxidants neutralize free radicals, which can cause premature aging and skin damage. By incorporating matcha into your skincare routine, you help shield your skin from environmental stressors and oxidative damage.
Anti-Inflammatory Powers: Matcha’s anti-inflammatory properties are a game-changer for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. The catechins in matcha help to reduce inflammation, calm redness, and soothe irritated skin, making it an excellent choice for anyone dealing with inflammatory skin conditions.
Brightening Effect: Matcha has natural brightening properties that can help even out your skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation. Its rich chlorophyll content also helps to detoxify the skin, leaving you with a fresh, radiant complexion.
Hydration Boost: Many matcha-infused skincare products are designed to enhance hydration. Matcha’s natural compounds help retain moisture in the skin, ensuring it stays plump and hydrated. This is particularly beneficial for those with dry or dehydrated skin types.
Must-Have Matcha Products for Your Skincare Routine
Matcha Cleansers: Start your skincare routine with a matcha-infused cleanser. These products effectively remove dirt, oil, and impurities while delivering the antioxidant benefits of matcha. Look for gentle, sulfate-free formulations to maintain your skin’s natural balance.
Matcha Toners: A matcha toner can help balance your skin’s pH and tighten pores. It’s a refreshing addition to your routine that delivers the calming and brightening effects of matcha, preparing your skin for subsequent treatments.
Matcha Serums: Serums are a great way to provide your skin with a concentrated dose of matcha’s benefits. Look for serums that combine matcha with other skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid or vitamin C for enhanced hydration and radiance.
Matcha Moisturizers: A matcha moisturizer is perfect for locking in hydration and delivering lasting nourishment. These moisturizers often include additional emollients and humectants that work synergistically with matcha to keep your skin smooth and supple.
Matcha Face Masks: Pamper yourself with a matcha face mask for a weekly skin treat. These masks provide deep cleansing and rejuvenation while delivering the full spectrum of matcha’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. They’re an excellent way to give your skin an extra boost and achieve a radiant glow.
Matcha Eye Creams: The delicate skin around the eyes can benefit significantly from matcha’s soothing properties. Eye creams infused with matcha can help reduce puffiness, dark circles, and signs of fatigue, making them a valuable addition to your skincare arsenal.
Conclusion
Incorporating matcha products into your skincare routine is not just a trend; it’s a smart choice backed by science. With its potent antioxidants, anti-inflammatory effects, and hydrating properties, matcha is the essential ingredient you need to elevate your skincare game. Whether you opt for a cleanser, toner, serum, or mask, matcha products offer a natural and effective way to achieve healthier, more radiant skin.
Don’t miss out on the skincare revolution—embrace the power of matcha and experience the transformative benefits for yourself. Your skin will thank you for it!

I missed you!!! Can you tell me your favorite skincare products? I’ve been on the hunt for something new! I have very congested skin and I’m 28 so I’m interested in anti-premature aging :)
preventing premature aging 🥥🤍
Tumblr media Tumblr media
great question! i'm also working diligently to prevent premature aging in my twenties and i've been using all of these products for at least 3+ months and have noticed a huge improvement on my skin.
morning routine + products:
cleanser: la roche posay purifying cleanser
toner: the ordinary milky toner
vitamin c cream: twent1 saffron + squalane radiant cream
vitamin c oil: twent1 vitamin c enzyme oil (SO good and very lightweight)
spf: supergoop glow screen
evening routine + products:
cleanser: same as above
toner: same as above
moisturizer: cerave daily lotion
retinol: twent1 indian bakuchiol oil (this is a retinol alternative and it’s just as effective imo).
extra helpful skincare tips:
facial steaming 1-2x per week (i like to steam with matcha powder and himalayan salt after i cleanse)
putting an oil on AFTER creams. oils don't hydrate, they seal.
learning to sleep on your back. i like to put 2 claw clips on each side of my face to avoid me rolling over to the side!
taking a collagen powder in my morning smoothie.
doube cleansing with my cleanser. i don't buy an oil cleanser.

Are matcha skin care products beneficial for the skin?
Matcha skin care products can be beneficial for the skin due to several reasons:
Antioxidant-rich: Matcha contains a high concentration of antioxidants, particularly catechins, which help to combat free radicals. Free radicals can lead to premature aging and skin damage, so antioxidants are beneficial for maintaining youthful and healthy skin.
Anti-inflammatory: The catechins in matcha also have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce redness and inflammation in the skin. This makes matcha suitable for calming sensitive or irritated skin.
Tumblr media
Anti-bacterial: Matcha has been shown to have antibacterial properties, which can be useful for combating acne-causing bacteria on the skin. This makes it potentially beneficial for those with acne-prone skin.
Detoxifying: Matcha has detoxifying properties that can help to eliminate toxins from the skin, leaving it clearer and more radiant.
Moisturizing: Matcha is also hydrating for the skin, helping to maintain skin moisture levels and improve overall skin texture.
UV protection: Some studies suggest that the EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) in matcha may help to protect the skin from UV damage when applied topically.
When choosing matcha skin care products, it's important to consider the quality and concentration of matcha in the product, as well as other ingredients that may be included. Overall, incorporating matcha into your skin care routine can provide antioxidant benefits, reduce inflammation, and promote healthier skin.

How should I incorporate a matcha skincare product into my routine?
To get the maximum out of a matcha skin care product, start with the aid of cleansing your face to do away with impurities. Apply the matcha product as directed—this could be a serum, mask, or moisturizer. If it's a masks, use it a few times per week for a deep remedy. For day by day use, serums and moisturizers may be implemented morning and nighttime. Always follow up with sunscreen all through the day to defend your skin from UV damage, as matcha merchandise can decorate your pores and skin’s sensitivity to daylight.

The Rules of Matcha Skincare Product
Matcha, a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, is not just a popular beverage but also a potent ingredient in skincare. When it comes to using matcha in skincare, there are several "rules" or best practices to follow to ensure you get the most out of this antioxidant-rich ingredient. Here are the key rules for using matcha skincare products:
1. Choose High-Quality Matcha Products
Look for skincare products that use high-quality, organic matcha. The grade of matcha (ceremonial, culinary, etc.) can affect its potency and benefits. Ceremonial-grade matcha is generally the highest quality.
2. Understand Your Skin Type
Matcha is generally safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin, but it's essential to choose formulations that match your specific skin needs. For oily or acne-prone skin, look for matcha products that contain clay or charcoal for added oil absorption.
3. Check for Complementary Ingredients
Matcha works well with other ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, aloe vera, or honey. Ensure the product contains complementary ingredients that target your specific skin concerns, such as hydration, brightening, or anti-aging.
4. Incorporate Gradually into Your Routine
If you’re new to matcha skincare, start slowly to see how your skin reacts. Introduce the product once or twice a week and gradually increase usage if your skin tolerates it well.
5. Be Consistent with Use
Like any skincare product, consistency is key to seeing results. Use matcha skincare products regularly, as directed, to experience its full benefits, such as improved skin texture, reduced inflammation, and a brighter complexion.
6. Sun Protection is Essential
Matcha has antioxidants that protect against environmental damage, but it does not replace sunscreen. Always follow up with SPF during the day to protect your skin from UV damage, especially after using antioxidant-rich products.
7. Follow the Right Order in Your Skincare Routine
Matcha skincare products, such as cleansers, toners, serums, or masks, should be used in the proper sequence. Typically, matcha cleansers come first, followed by toners, serums, and then moisturizers.
8. Know When to Use Matcha Masks
Matcha masks are highly effective for calming and detoxifying the skin. Use them once or twice a week for a deep cleanse and to provide a boost of antioxidants to the skin.
9. Store Properly to Maintain Freshness
Matcha is sensitive to light and heat. Store matcha-infused skincare products in a cool, dark place to maintain their potency and prevent the matcha from oxidizing.
10. Check for Allergies
Although rare, some people may be allergic to matcha or other ingredients in matcha skincare products. Always perform a patch test before fully incorporating a new product into your skincare routine.
11. Look for Cruelty-Free and Eco-Friendly Options
If you prefer ethical skincare, opt for cruelty-free matcha products with sustainable packaging. This ensures you are choosing environmentally-friendly options.
12. Be Aware of Potential Greenwashing
Not all "matcha" skincare products have effective concentrations of matcha. Look at ingredient lists and ensure matcha is listed among the top ingredients to verify its efficacy.

an angels guide: sunday reset routine
hi angels! at the end of a busy and long week you need to prioritise taking care of yourself, your mental health and your space. i like to save sundays to be a ‘me’ day, a day where i indulge in self care, cleaning and preparing myself peacefully for a busy week ahead. resetting your space and self can be an intensive routine (think thirty minute youtube videos of someone deep cleaning their house) or just simple and short (having an early night). this is my more aspirational reset routine, on an ideal sunday i will do all of this but some days i may negotiate and do a little less. hopefully this post inspires you to take care of yourself and your space.

Get Your Morning Started 🤍
I bet you already read dozens of morning routines but maybe I can offer you a few different tips and tricks with my step by step morning routine.
waking up early is essential to make the most out of the day. If you aren‘t an early bird, try different kinds of alarm clocks (light, nature sounds, etc).
After waking up make sure there is some water on your nightstand and drink it. Start hydrating!
Try to avoid your phone as long as possible - no one needs your attention that early in the morning. Be considerate and put your attention on yourself!
Don‘t make your bed. Srsly! Open your window and air your bedding first. Making your bed right after getting up is a safe place for mites. While ventilating the bedroom you can go the bathroom, prepare your drinks/breakfast, journal or meditate. Make your bed 30 min after leaving your bed.
Meditate. Light a candle or incense sticks. Roll out your fitness mat and choose between guided meditations or non guided meditations (I recommend guided for beginners, you can find some on YouTube or Spotify) meditation is key try to stick to it daily!
Journal for organisation and personal growth. 5 to 10 minutes only (!!!) there are many journals out there, I personally use the 5 Minute Journal but any journal would do. You can use a plain notepad and look up journaling ideas on pinterest I really don‘t want you to spend money on stuff you don‘t necessarily need just for the aesthetic.
Move your body honey! Do a YouTube workout or go for a run. Walk your staircase up and down do whatever you feel like doing but try to ignore your lazy bum trying to make you skip this. Get stared on this one you can thank me later.
Breakfast, baby. Nutrition and hydration is non-negotiable! Have your vegetables and fruits, drink your coffee or matcha, don’t forget to drink your lemon water. Don‘t skip breakfast to loose wait angel. Your organs need the calories to function during the day so treat yourself with love and consideration.
Keep calm and moisturise. Quick shower or wash to get ready for the day. Skincare is everything. I’m currently investing (and testing) Korean skincare for myself but a few products are key: cleanser -> toner -> antioxidant serum (vitamin c) -> eye cream -> moisturizer -> sunscreen
Make up and dress up. Find your personal style you feel comfortable with and you‘re good to go. You can look up outfit capsules on pinterest for wardrobe ideas. In terms of make up I personally think less is more. Mascara, lip oil, some rouge on the cheeks and vaseline and you‘re fine. I personally prefer a sleek hairstyle.
Listen to podcast. This step is easily combined with breakfast or getting ready. I‘m currently listening to Confessions by Anastazia but I’ll probably make a playlist with my fave podcast episodes from various podcasts and share it with you.
Bisous!

everything you need to make your own personal beauty binder 🎀
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
disclaimer: this post is heavily inspired by @tomb-of-ligeia and @daphne-dauphinoise, and early 2010s beauty youtubers. it’s always kind to credit your inspo <3
inspired by the lookbooks and makeup charts used by makeup artists designers at high fashion runways shows and childhood bratz coloring and activity books. the law of attraction is at use heavily with this binder (writing down goals and wishlists)!
you should be keeping diy recipes you find in here.
*you don’t need a physical binder. some people function better with digital mediums. i prefer anything physical and concrete. but you can do all this in something like a notion, or your notes app, etc.
why? 🎀
a cute girly hobby (esp for type A, anal retentive, or analytical personalities/extremely creative, hands on people) to keep track of your routines, motivate you to keep yourself maintained, and figure out what works best for you. it’s nothing too serious, just a girly pastime for people that maybe buy too many products, slip up on routines, or don’t what looks best on your features. have fun!
what to record in your binder? 🎀
an intro sheet 10 different topics divided by tabbed sections: your personal features, makeup, body, fashion, skincare, hair, fragrance, nails, treatments/procedures, salons/spas/referrals/contacts 🎀
intro sheet 🎀
here, you should keep your goals, desired look, and how you want to perceive yourself.
your personal features
a chart of your color season. mine is cool winter. you can use color season for whatever, i choose to apply it to my makeup.
your natural body shape. this will help you choose the best clothes to flatter your silhouette.
a close up, unfiltered clear photo of your bare face. note your skin type, color, undertone, and any other things that stand out to you.
note what you wanna enhance and what you wanna improve. this will help throughout your binder.
makeup
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
put on a light layer of every lipstick/lip gloss/etc. you have and make kiss shaped swatches in your binder. note the shade, brand, and finish. then the mood/occasion in which you’d wear it.
swatch all your lip liners, again leaving the details of the product.
swatch your foundation shades. note the finish, name and brand.
make a sheet dedicated to all your “holy grail”, essential products.
swatch your eyeshadow palettes. i have all my shimmer pigments swatches and it’s the prettiest thing to look at.
do you have any go to makeup looks? your casual look, going out look, no makeup makeup look, etc.? do these looks and take high quality pics. make personalized face charts by printing them out and noting the steps and products you used.
take c*nty pics of your lashes after trying on all your mascaras/falsies. note the effects and when you would be most likely to wear them.
print out any pics of interesting makeup looks and products you wanna try.
try on lip combos and kiss swatch them. i’m doing this because i do amazing lip combos all the time but i forget which products i used, and it’s hard to replicate the look.
body
take a stick figure-esque picture of yourself and print it out. any outfit you want to buy, print and clip it out first and see if it’s something you’d wear and actually like.
are you experiencing any skin issues on your body and trying any products? keep track of the issue and how the products are doing.
if you don’t already have one, brainstorm workout routines and general wellness/fitness goals.
what are your fav body products? what products did you buy, and hate? TRACK THEM!
any detoxes/diets you’re doing should be recorded in this section.
record “beauty enhancing” foods and drinks here. mine include matcha, lemon water and acv shots.
fashion
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
outfit planning! take pics of pieces you already have and clip them out. (i’m doing this currently and keeping them all in a little pocket in my binder).
make a moodboard of your personal style(s). how do you want your closet to look? try to see what details, colors, additions are consistent throughout. when shopping, these are what you should keep track of.
print out your signature clothing color palette if you want to have one.
dedicate a page to accessories you have/want, and how you’d style them.
*this can be expensive but the fashion girls will prob love this* go to the fabric store and buy little swatches that you like. take note of what the fabric is and why you like it.
dedicate a page to all your signature details. all the little specific things that scream YOU and NO ONE else! that means do not write pink, girly, etc. here. that is not exclusive to you, hun.
skincare
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
take a current filter free photo (make it glam! tie your hair up in a ballerina bun and put on some cute earrings) of the state of your skin. if your skin is perfect, i’m jealous and how does it feel to be god’s fav? if not what problems are you experiencing?
log your current skincare routines and how they’re working.
make a page for your skin type, how it feels when you wake up and how it feels and looks by the end of the day and research tips to deal with your personal skin type.
skincare wishlist! list any products you wanna try and what they are for. sample them from ulta or sephora if it’s possible.
dedicate a page to the skincare ingredients your skin loves the MOST! mine are retinol, bha, and vitamin c.
i have a page for all the extra cute little skincare devices i want. on it there’s a stainless steel gua sha, an ice pack, facial steamer, and pink foreo.
hair
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
what’s your hair type, density, porosity and curl pattern?
write down any hair goals you have. mine is frizz free tailbone length caramel brown hair with honey blonde highlights by the end of this year.
what’s your signature hairstyle? do you have a signature? brainstorm here.
clip out hairstyle inspo from pinterest and insta and try to recreate all the looks!
what are your fav hair products? i keep track of the best curling creams and leave in conditioners for my hair personally.
take note of any trending products you wanna try.
fragrance
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
make a moodboard of how you wanna smell. after this, research notes and how they work together.
now track your fav perfumes, your most complimented, etc.
note what fragrances go with what occasion and how they make you feel.
make your perfume wishlist! my fav part!
nails
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
swatch all your polishes. label them and their finish.
what’s your signature/go to nail look?
do you have any pics of your fav mani + pedis? print them out and write the details you loved the most.
write down your at home mani and pedi routine and it’s frequency.
write your fav colors and styles to wear on your nails. mine are glittery pink, pale pink, white, cream, french tip and pink frenchie. a hyper girly twist on the classics.
treatments/procedures
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
take note of any surgeries or procedures you want done and what they do.
anything you leave the house to have done regularly, keep track here.
don’t limit yourself! forget your budget! what are some high maintenance treatments you wanna experience? manifest it.
references
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
write down the sources of which you find great info for beauty and fashion
keep addresses of your fav salons and spas.
keep business contacts of your fav estheticians, stylists, nail techs, etc.
use my branding yourself guide to assist in your beauty binder! so much inspo and so many good resources! 🎀

Ever since Konig met you, his dry skin couldn’t thank you enough. He’s finally upgraded from Head & Shoulders/Dish Soap to an actual skincare routine😭
One time, Horangi stopped by his Konig’s quarters to deliver some paperwork and was greeted by Konig — pink gel eye patches, matcha mud face mask, & applying Laniege to his lips
Skincare lets go!! I'm such a skincare hoe, I just can't help but imagine Konig slowly being introduced to the world of sunscreen, moisturizer and expensive brands just for his skin. He most certainly has skin problems, both from constantly wearing a damp mask that is soaked in sweat, blood, and dirt, and then from exposing his sensitive skin to the sun after days of never showing anything. His skin is as dry as a sandpaper, and Darling would have to do extensive research just to repair the damage. He hates vitamins to help his gut health and to improve his skin, he takes retinol every other night and doesn't forget to moisturize his skin. He has a lot of products that you bought for him especially, but he loves to steal your supplies sometimes because it makes him close to you. It also helps establish a routine when he is away from you - it bring you two closer when he sends you text after forgetting in what order he should apply serums or what to do with a nasty breakout from the last time he gut an enemy and let their blood pour on his face. Horangi is still more traumatized after seeing his colonel is mud mask and what at first asking if it's some new form of full camouflage.

The Magic of Matcha global skin care product Blackhead Makeup Removing Facial Mask
Product Overview:
The Blackhead Makeup Removing Facial Mask is a revolutionary product designed to address multiple skin concerns with the benefits of green tea. This facial mask is formulated to gently remove makeup, cleanse the skin deeply, and target blackheads while also offering skin-brightening and pore-shrinking benefits. Here’s what makes this mask stand out:
Tumblr media
Green Tea Facial Powder: At the heart of this mask is matcha green tea powder. Known for its potent antioxidants and soothing properties, matcha helps to detoxify the skin, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin health.
Blackhead Removal: The mask is specifically designed to dislodge and eliminate blackheads, which are often stubborn and difficult to treat. It works by penetrating deep into the pores, dissolving impurities, and clearing the skin.
Brightening and Pore-Tightening: In addition to its blackhead-fighting properties, the mask also helps to brighten the skin and minimize the appearance of pores. This is achieved through the combined action of green tea and other skin-loving ingredients.
Key Benefits
Effective Blackhead Removal:
The mask’s unique formula helps to unclog pores and dissolve blackheads, leaving your skin smoother and clearer.
Deep Cleansing:
It thoroughly removes makeup and impurities, ensuring a clean and fresh face without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.
Brightening Effect:
The green tea extract brightens the complexion, giving your skin a healthy, radiant glow.
Pore Shrinking:
Regular use of the mask can help tighten pores, reducing their appearance and giving your skin a more refined texture.
Anti-Inflammatory Properties:
Green tea’s anti-inflammatory properties help to calm and soothe irritated skin, making it suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin.
How to Use
Prep Your Skin: Start with a clean face. Gently cleanse your skin to remove any surface dirt or makeup.
Apply the Mask: Using clean fingers or a brush, apply a thin, even layer of the mask to your face, focusing on areas prone to blackheads and enlarged pores.
Leave On: Allow the mask to sit for 10-15 minutes. You might feel a slight tingling sensation—this is normal and indicates that the mask is working.
Rinse Off: Once the mask has dried, rinse it off with lukewarm water, using gentle circular motions to remove any residue.
Follow Up: Pat your face dry and follow with your favorite moisturizer or serum to lock in hydration.
User Tips
Patch Test: Before applying the mask to your entire face, do a patch test on a small area to ensure you don’t have any allergic reactions.
Regular Use: For best results, use the mask 1-2 times a week to maintain clear, bright, and smooth skin.
Combine with Other Products: Complement the mask with other Matchaglobal products for a comprehensive skincare routine, such as a soothing toner or a hydrating moisturizer.
