I think I have realized something absolutely vital when it comes to manifesting with a brain thats often feels "dysfunctional" due to disability or mental health issues and can make you feel alienated from other advice or the loassumption community in general.
Anything that is "holding you back" is a circumstance. And what do we know about circumstances? They dont matter.
You cannot keep your toughts in control bc you have adhd and keep getting distracted? You have autism and you don't know if you understood everything right or if there's some hidden feeling you have yet to look for? Circumstance. Doesn't matter. Whatever you did, counted in favor of your manifestation, even if something distracted you during your technique
You have BPD or severe trauma and spiral every time you think about your end goal? Nope, the bad thoughts didn't count, you did absolutely amazing.
You cannot even begin your techniques because of executive dysfunction? Who the hell needs techniques anyways! Every breath your lungs have taken since you learned about manifestation has done nothing else but take you closer and closer to your success story.
You have depression and cannot even keep a happy thought and feel it real even tho that's supposed to manifest? Nah. Not true. Whatever technique you did and mindset that you decided for with whatever effort, completely fucking worked.
You are overthinking the fact that you're overthinking and worried if mere worry will mess up your manifestation? Nope. Your unfavorable thoughts are a circumstance, they don't matter in manifestation.
Notice anything in your head that goes against your pure intention and call them what they are: circumstances, not negative, not positive, but insignificant to the outcome.
Im not saying this do downplay lived experience here. You are allowed to experience pain, but said pain does not have the ability to control your outcomes. They can hurt like hell, I know, but they messed up NOTHING IN YOUR PROGRESS. Your godself cannot be bound by the circumstance of flesh. I'm saying this to liberate you from the thought pattern that makes you think your circumstances are so unique that they surely have to matter. Nope, they don't . No mental health issue nor disability is holding you back. Literally nothing is. Not you "not doing it right". You are not born to just suffer through the 3d, even if the manifesting community forgets about your unique experience and feels a bit alienating because of it. You are doing it right. You are doing it perfectly. Congratulations.
Well done, sweetheart. You did well. Welcome back to your power, God.

disclaimer: i’m just speaking from my own experiences as someone with adhd and this can apply to ANYONE! but speaking from experience it’s nice to have things broken down and simplified cause often times i can over complicate something very natural and easy and it can become a chore so why not both keep myself on track and share my knowledge!

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷   what’s the easiest and simplest way to manifest?
affirming. i am a FIRM believer of that and have been since childhood because it’s something that’s so natural to you that most times you do it subconsciously! as a kid i had certain adults around me make me say affirmations DAILY and looking back i realized why!
repetitiveness will always equal to success, and with adhd it can be daunting and also all around frustrating to focus in on desired thoughts. some tips that i think help is writing and speaking, writing your affirmations down helps engrave it into your skull more in my opinion and speaking things into existence can never go wrong. you do it anyway.
if you’re trying to focus on self concept and one of your affirmations are “i’m deserving of my desires” it can sometimes feel like your brain will purposefully do everything in its power to focus on all but that sentence, telling yourself out loud to stop and then saying the affirmation is something that has helped loads. any this sounds silly but if i’m having a day where i’m really tweaking out i’ll envision my desired thought quite literally beating down the negative thought like… i’ll imagine a fat ass fist pounding down on it and it helps i stg
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷   have direct guidelines and influences!
write down exactly what you want and who you wanna be, and it’s nothing wrong with taking inspo. idk if this is all ppl with adhd but i take things very literal so consuming techniques and other ppls rules can sometimes mess with what i know works for me and i start to go back and forth and confuse myself, and confusion is already common enough with adhd i fear. your aren’t OBLIGATED to take what everyone says into account you’re just observing and plucking what sticks so make your own guide.
i have a journal specifically for this and ONLY this. and i make it as simple as possible, the affirmations are simple, the goals are direct and short, and i make a mini list of my core inspirations and what about them i want to have part of my reality.

AM I MAKING SENSE? LOL like keep it sweet and cute cause at one point i’d also get caught up in specific wording like twin just vibe, you know what your intentions are.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷   keep it fun, it’s your life not a chore!
this may appeal to a more creative collective but something that i do that keeps me saturated in the head space in drawing/animating and the sims. idk if ppl have spoke abt this before and i wouldn’t doubt it but drawing/animating yourself in your dr is so yummy or creating a damn save file of your dr in the sims? you can make lore, your dream wardrobe, your desired appearance, dream home/apartment, partner, job literally give yourself the clearest and most visual and interactive way of helping you develop and get a clear understanding of your dr. AND you’ll be more than likely be spending long periods of time on it which means you’ll be thinking about it longer so it’ll be easier to focus on.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷   EVERYTHING starts in the mind
someone had to think of tumblr and focus on the reality of it existing before it existed. it sounds corny but sometimes the most obvious statement is what needs to be heard, that’s why we’re constantly telling ppl to “be yourself” it’s like.. duh? but you’re quite literally conditioned after a certain age to NOT be yourself and sometimes that cliche yet simple reminder is what’s needed.
someone had to think of hello kitty before she became a reality, someone had to think of a building layout before conveying the idea to someone to help them make it a reality, you had to imagine an outfit before you put it together and was able to see it in your 3d. and when your mind is focused on a specific stream of thought patterns new ideas will shove themselves in and that’s what’ll get you to make the next decision to get closer and closer or just having these desired thoughts raise your vibrations making you vibrate on the same frequency as your desires.
the way i’m explaining it may come off as vague i’m not sure but truly simplifying it as much as possible makes it easier to digest bc again, manifesting should be and IS natural and easy. also catching yourself and being aware how you speak can help reshape your mind.

and MOST MOST MOST IMPORTANT ESP W MY NEURODIVERGENT BABES. give yourself some goddamn grace! negative thoughts are gonna pop up i HATEE when manifestation posts talk abt how you shouldn’t have this and that, regardless you’re still human operating under a very powerful brainwashing system that conditions you to be close minded while at the same feeding you a false sense of hope, you’re gonna have moments where a conflicting or negative thought comes in. let that ho pass and immediately interrupt it with what you wanna hear.
AND ALSO those posts that are like “you gotta put in the hard work and it may take years but it’s part of the process.” it’s not if you don’t want it to be. life can be as easy and effortless as you want it to be if that’s what you believe you deserve.

this post is especially dedicated for my fellow neurodivergents, specifically those who have add/adhd.
it’s normal for all of us to feel stressed sometimes. stress, as well as anxiety, are both feelings we all experience from time to time. however, dealing with a lot of stress is proven to have a negative impact on your body, more specifically your (autonomic) nervous system. by understanding how to regulate your nervous system, you will have an easier time managing stressful moments, and overall live a lot more balanced and peaceful life. ⋮ © credits
the nervous system.
your nervous system is the control center of your body. it is the part of your body that’s responsible for regulating your breathing, your heartbeat, your blood pressure, your digestion, and also the way you feel. the part of your nervous system that deals with the emotional wellbeing of yours is called "autonomic nervous system".
when feeling stressed, your body naturally reacts in a way to prepare you for the situation. it could respond through an increased heart rate, sweaty palms or the tension of muscles. nevertheless, our bodies cannot constantly withstand stress. continuously experiencing high levels of cortisol and adrenaline can lead to (sometimes serious) health issues.
a dysregulated nervous system.
a nervous system becomes dysregulated when the body cannot properly handle certain situations the way it used to. the body's way of responding to certain situations falls out of sync. it indicates a state of imbalance as you experience your body not being able to keep up with you.
signs.
these are some of the signs indicating you might have a dysregulated nervous system:
anxiety
easily irritated
memory problems
difficulty concentrating
headaches
quickly overwhelmed
mood swings
panic attacks
digestive issues
trouble sleeping
constant fatigue
chronic pain
persistent muscle tension
weakened immune system
stressors.
here is a list of stressors that are known to disrupt your nervous system balance:

Well hello to my lovelies how are yall it's been a while and I was lurking in Twitte- X (sorry not sorry) and I also took a break from manifesting while I was gone and last month I opened my X again because boy my ADHD WAS ON PEAK no liralyy~,it was and I still am struggling from this break from manifesting my desires,it actually was bad idea for me,but just because I experience it doesn't mean yall will too.
So few days ago I got in a little problem and I was so Dang panic I knew I could manifestation but like my anxiety was on peak if you know,you know and so I decided to use all my knowledge because I wasn't gonna let my intrusive thoughts stop me from affirming,so I downloaded my counter app and start affirming for 10 hours even if i wasn't counting i was still affirming for example i would tap my finger on the table and guess what I manifested my circumstances away and this my friends how I did it.
First thing first nervous system regulating you can search for "Vagus nerves" reprogramming exercises on youtube it's simple or take cold shower there are many you can search it they can also be done in room full of people it's not that hard hardly takes 40-50 second. I know how ANNOYING they get and my chest hurts so bad when I get anxious so few minutes of vagus nerves exercises really help calm those thoughts. And then I also did EFT tapping in-between when I was free or didn't bother to count.
Second will be well COUNTER I know I myself used to say no need for counter but unless you have trouble focusing I really recommend counter especially for saturating sessions,and the robotically affirm that's it.
But remember you must also remember that this is LAW literally A LAW and no one can change that period! Even if you say you can't you still are so REMOVE THOS HOWS, WHERES AND WHENS,keep persisting and saturating that's it loop the hell outta your mind,drench your mind with the idea that you have your desires.

Something something Dante becoming a better man and getting his life together because he’s in love expect for the fact he’s like Shane from SDV and you need to install a mod to get his room to stop looking like a pig sty (and ruining your lovely decor) because even if he's bettered himself he's still got the habits of his old life
Like. The living room? He finds it in himself vacuum and even dust the place now. It’s not spotless but it’s presentable. Something lights up in his brain when you look surprised at his cleaning job and it drags him into wanting to at least keep things okay-looking for your sake
Kitchen? He’s learnt the difference between wet wipes and antibacterial wipes (thank GOD)— and also grown to love deep cleaning the stove with a record on because the process is, surprisingly, quite soothing. You did have to remind him how a dishwasher works, but it's not like he's every really used real plates that often before, so you give him some slack
Bathroom? You take turns every week or so to get a proper deep clean (Dante's always bringing in mud, dirt and blood from work so it's become a necessary), and Dante’s gotten into the habit of wiping down the mirror after every bath/shower & cleaning up the products he uses from the counter
But the bedroom?
Horrors. Nightmares. Skin crawling. Nothing is organised
Doesn’t put his laundry away until he has a fresh load — so he only puts away the old pile when a new pile comes. And it sits on the floor by the dresser. Right There. Even though he's got the time and ability to put it away. He Won't
Cups keep appearing on BOTH bedside tables AND the desk??? He needs a new glass each night for some reason and also “doesn’t want to leave you out” so he brings you a cup too, even if you're dead asleep
Has a pile of papers that you Are Not Allowed To Move that also somehow turns up in the same exact spot whenever you try to clean. Apparently has a 'system' for his drawers, even though everything is thrown in random spots and you can never find what you're looking for. He keeps accidentally putting the bedsheets on inside out, and doesn't realise til it's time to go to bed. You don't know what's under the bed but maybe it's for a good reason
At least he doesn't leave old pizza boxes around and cleans up his own beer cans when he relaxes in bed, it's not a complete garbage tip anymore (though you have to keep reminding him to stop wearing his dirty boots inside the house because you can't just wash the floor everyday)

Hello, I need to know how long do you plan TaS to be? Or maybe how many chapters will it be? Because I need to get mentally prepared for the end from now on otherwise I think I'll have a panic attack when one day you say we're at the end of the fic. 😬 Of course if you don't know or the plan is changing it's alright, just want to ask. 😇
PLS this made me gigggleeee but we're gonna have to buckle up bc as of now it's looking like it's gonna be btwn 20–30 chapters LOL. i have no good guesses for word count since the chapter lengths seem to fluctuate between 8–25k atp but we're in for the long haul according to my outline doc (which is at 36k words in itself lmfaooo)
the plan def changes every so often but mostly just little things because i have the whole fic planned out from start to finish! so i can't give an exact chapter count since often i end up having to split chapter plans into two, but that's my best guesstimate atm, and i'll ofc post about it when we start getting closer to the end.
if it helps, i'm planning for the length of this fic to span from july 2005 to sometime in the summer of 2006 (excluding the epilogue), so when the dates at the start of chapters start creeping into june... you'll know we're nearing the end </33 i'm so Afraid LOL

The Art Of Detachment For The Hyper-Empathetic
- do you feel like everything is triggering you, you ruminate on conversations, you get overly attached to others and or the things they say?
- do you feel/ get told “you care too much” or “too passionate” and prone to feeling irritated or upset by things
- do you feel you couldn’t do most of “unbothered” and “detachment” posts?
If this is you, you might be an overly empathetic person. This can be both a blessing and a curse. Today I will tell you how to fix this and master the art of unbothered and detached to protect your peace.
You need to use your empathy to explain someone’s behavior in a way to dismiss what they are doing, which avoids you from getting into in a victim mindset.
Example : Someone says something mean to you.
How an overly sympathetic person would react naturally : “This person was so mean to me, they said this and that. I can’t believe that how could they do that? Did I do something wrong?” and go tell others and let it stick with them all day, rent free.
How a naturally unbothered person would react: They wouldn’t care and honestly most likely laugh it off.
How you, as an hyper-empathetic person NEEDS to react: “That’s a very odd way to react to things as an adult, being mean at this age is concerning. They must have underlying issues to behave this way, unfortunately I am unqualified to treat this behavior, hopefully they can get the help they need from a specialist”
This is how you become detached and don’t become a victim while also remaining kind and keeping up your morals!

Tip for all my neurodivergent girlies, or anyone who wants to build routines but struggles with planning:
ChatGPT made me a skincare and makeup routine!
I plugged all my products in (I just bought my first skincare/makeup beginners kit) and asked it what each of them does, how often to use them, and then to generate me a weekly schedule of how and when to use them all, in the right order.
It built me this table:

This took less than five minutes.
Now I no longer feel confused or overwhelmed, and I can finally focus on just DOING the routine instead of getting stuck at step 0.
HUGE game changer for coping with executive dysfunction!! Later I am going to plan out my entire life and build all the routines I’ve ever wanted to have, thanks to this tool!!
AI has its downsides, places where it does and doesn’t belong, and risks that must be managed. But when it comes to disability aid, this technology has the power to revolutionize support and provide real relief so that more people can be more independent more often.
So, I just had to share this tip I discovered in case it can help anyone else as much as it’s helping me!!
Because pretty girls respect the Girl Code and don’t keep these secrets to themselves 😘🎀

I wish in general discussion of ADHD that executive dysfunction wasn't used to just mean difficulty with task switching and task initiation.
Like, there's so much more that is a part of executive functioning! Executive functioning includes impulse control, emotional regulation, working memory, attention, awareness of time, goal formation, planning, and that's not even all of it. It's a broad catogory of cognitive processes, not just a single symptom.
ADHD symptoms do mostly fall under executive dysfunction because ADHD is an executive functioning disorder.
In general terms, it's not wrong to include difficulties in task switching and initiation in executive dysfunction! They are certainly a part of that! But oversimplifying executive dysfunction to only be task switching and initiation difficulties isn't accurate and gives an inaccurate picture of ADHD as a whole (or at least, from what I've seen, it impacts the discussion surrounding ADHD negatively).
It might just be me. idk. But discussing precise problems while calling them by a blanket term can make it hard to identify what exactly the block is. For example, if I'm having trouble getting started on a task and I just say "oh I'm struggling with executive dysfunction right now" that doesn't tell me anything about what's wrong. But if I say "I'm struggling with task initiation; I keep meaning to do it but don't know where to start" then I can think through the steps to start. Or if it's motivation, "I'm struggling with motivation" means I can think of how to overcome that. "This is overwhelming" means I can plan. "I don't want to stop what I'm doing/this is a task switching problem" means I can decide if I need to finish the task at hand or trick my brain into swapping.
(This is a separate problem but then you also have people saying execytive dysfunction is laziness or results in laziness when they are meaning that difficulty with task initiation. Even if it was true that difficulty with task initiation was laziness (it's not), saying that executive dysfunction = laziness is so incorrect. That would mean poor short term memory = laziness. That would mean hyperactivity = laziness. That would mean emotional dysregulation = laziness. And none of these are even CLOSE to true. That's another issue though.)
