my dad doesn't play much, but he tends to try to use logic to deduce who's going to get sick by looking for small details which is rarely correct bc the writers want to hook watchers in, which they do by subverting expectations

my mom always guesses the person who looks completely and utterly healthy which yields her a pretty good win rate, thrown off when there are multiple people in the background and when they're subverting the subversion

while I tend to guess by going with whoever is played by the more recognizable actor, as I correctly surmise that the person who's going to be having medical emergencies needs to be a good enough actor to get steady work, lol

no because johnny and kyle are literal heathens. you can’t throw anything in their path without one of them (sometimes both of them) immediately trying to roll to seduce the creature or object. you try your best to maneuver the story so that simon or john are the ones to encounter the enemy first, but even that doesn’t deter them sometimes.

i get the picture maxis was trying to convey with mary-sue but placing her on such a low career level shes been in for? 15 years? with an almost nonexistent skillset in her late adulthood and a job that literally requires none to advance?? like mary-sue is clearly completely unfit to be a politician because how does she even manage that, all while she's tight with the most influential family in all history and never thought about taking advantage of that YET she spent over a decade just being an intern whos about to be fired over a speech check and not once considered changing careers during all that time while we're all supposed to think she's this massive career woman who severely neglected every other aspect of her life for it and basically helen morgendorffer is. actually tragic

re the first three tlovm s3 episode title teaser fr. vex getting [redacted] while standing in front of percy . i will undoubtedly have Thoughts about plot n adaption once the whole season is out but i will say people acting like vex potentially dying again is a betrayal of the arc is . i say this politely. ridiculous. vex’s most common habit aside from haggling and flirting in campaign 1 was being knocked unconscious. she required full ass resurrection spells on four separate occasions. we currently have no idea what the shape of any arc in season 3 will look like beyond broad strokes and teasing shots. if they end up wanting to incorporate the exandrian magic lore of it’s harder to come back each time you die, vex seems like the obvious opportunity to do so. please at the very least save the panic posting for when you actually have something to panic about .

Oh god I just read the new update of hanahaki and shed a few tears because of anakin's heartbreak BUT THEN I read the body politic au and now I can't stop laughing. I must look insane right now, your range of writing is truly amazing! Body politic Ani is so ridiculous and hilarious and quite adorable and Councilman Kenobi is probably thinking the same thing... and definitely annoyed at himself for thinking that.
