#KyeLinMakanSpot : Mak’s Pork Chop (麦池记-粉、面、饭 Bandar Puteri Puchong) ~ Their meals start from RM 8.80 like this Pork Chop Rice Bowl. The pork chop has a slight crisp bite with a bit of juiciness despite it being pounded flat before deep frying. The batter it’s coated in already has some spices like plum powder and the usual salt and pepper so when you eat it together with the pickled veggies underneath and rice drizzled with soy-vinegar sauce, it’s a firework of flavours but it gets a bit salty too without an occasional sip from your drink. Then there’s the peppery aftertaste that hits you, so to my fellow foodies who can’t really take spicy food that well, prepare to take some gulps of your drink after every bite. ~ Rating: 7/10 ~ Coming Back: Yes because they ran out of the Baked Cheese Rice by 1pm and I wanted to try that. Spicy Eggfloss Prawn with Green Beans. Got my hands on some vheap prawns and curry leaves, so I just had to make this dish! The fragrance of fried curry leaves and chillies are just irresistible! I didn't have birds eye chilli so I used regular chilli. I LOVE the shredded butter chinese style cooking ( Malaysian chinese only or ..?) yes it’s butter ! + egg that made the shredded along with choice of fried fish / pork/ prawn/chicken/ squid/ hargou usually we get to choose. Had this a lot when I was younger. Usually can be found in chinese restaurant or hawker for dinner only. It taste of savoury buttery sweet (cause have sugar too usually ) have to find the right ones that don’t make it too sweet and should be crispy . The other two dishes is sweet and sour pork and butter cream pork . Butter cream is usually another similar choice to this one but I don’t like it too sweet usually they put condense milk I feel. Have you try this ? What are your thoughts ?
