How do you think Bella would have reacted if she had found out about Regulus' betrayal? I mean, I can clearly see Bellatrix torturing him, what I can't say is if she would have killed him after getting what she wanted or left him alive because she doesn't dare kill him, so she lets him suffer a little more.

Doesn’t dare kill him?? Why wouldn’t she dare?? He’s her blood and she makes it plain that she’s loyal to family — but remember how she cut andromeda off?

Remember how cold and indifferent she was to Sirius? If someone hurts her I think she’d absolutely destroy them. She’s vengeful and cruel and unrelenting, these are all primary aspects of her character, remember?

So if Regulus does her this wrong, do you think she ‘won’t dare kill him’?

Quite on the contrary I think she’d rather easily help remove yet another stain on her family tree — and what’s more deserving of erasing than someone who betrays her (and the man she loves) in such a dreadful way?
