TADC Ep 4 Ramble! (?)

OKAY!! ive been wanting to yap about this for a while so!!

FIRST!! what finally got me to make this post!

the difference between how jax and ragatha worded it when they said something about gangle being happy!!

as you can see here, jax says "I like you better when you're sad."

but why am i thinking about this so much?

jax doesn't really say "i hate when youre happy," or anything of that sort! he just says "i like you better when you're sad." is there really that much of a difference? well, yes!

there's actually a BIG difference!

"I hate when you're happy," would mean that Jax ONLY likes Gangle when she's sad and that he makes her sad BECAUSE she's happy, which isn't the case!

We KNOW that Jax doesn't do it because he dislikes when she's happy (although that MIGHT be the case, he definitely doesnt overall HATE when she's happy) because he says in Ep 1;

"I'm fine with doing whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people."

AND at the beginning of Ep 3, he has absolutely no issue with her being happy in any way. You can even visually see the reason he throws her mask is because he thinks it's funny.

Hell, you can tell he wasn't even considering throwing her mask until Gangle mentioned the doors and he was like "oh stars yknow what would be funny..."

I'm sure you get my point! Yes, in Ep 2, he seems a bit happier with her being sad, he LITERALLY SAYS "Aren't you supposed to be submissive and agreeable?", but also remember he SPECIFICALLY says

"I like you better when you're sad." not that he ONLY likes her when she's sad, which is kinda my point with this.

Now, what makes it so different to Ragatha's comment about her being happy?

"You're kind of annoying when you have your happy mask."

Yeah. Kind of a big difference.

She just straight up says she thinks Gangle is annoying when she has her happy mask.

It can be argued that it's because Ragatha was hit with the good ol' stupid sauce, but if you haven't noticed, it's not that it made her stupid(although it sorta did), it just made her brutally honest with how she felt.

Gangle already knows that Ragatha is a people pleaser. Kind of everyone knows that. But regardless, Gangle considers Ragatha a friend. Sure, she could've expected it from Jax, but from RAGATHA?

Yeah. I wouldn't expect it either.

Because again, unlike Jax, Ragatha says she finds Gangle annoying when she's happy. Jax does not. And we know Jax is typically at least somewhat honest about how he feels. He literally has no reason to lie to Gangle about that, though. Like literally no reason.

"I like you better when you're sad" is a BIG difference than "You're kind of annoying when you have your happy mask."

Before anyone mentions it, although yes Ragatha DOES say happy MASK, Gangle doesn't exactly show she's sad when she has her happy mask on. She seems happier than when she doesn't have it, but we can pretty confidently assume that's not the case. I'll get into her mask later, though.

Regardless, what we know so far is that nobody really knows her happy mask doesn't actually make her happy except (now) Pomni and MAYBE Zooble.

Although I sorta doubt the Zooble thing because Ep 4 allowed us to learn that Gangle has a bigger mood drop the longer she's 'happy' for, since happiness isn't what she truly feels most of the time.

Livestream Watchthrough Thoughts (14-12-2024)

I loved this stream! It was a lot of fun, despite the heckler (they made some great jokes out of it, but it’s still a shitty thing to do), and… Yeah, I don’t have much else to say before I start my thoughts, other than I made a new tag for my watchthrough thoughts, because I’ll probably be making these again. They’re really fun to make, and it seems like there are some people who enjoy reading them, too, so it all works out quite well.

what’s your favorite merlin ep from each season?

Ooh yay, good question! I don't have these already picked out so I will be giving it a think!

Season 1: I'm gonna have to go with the Moment of Truth. Thought I was gonna go with the Poisoned Chalice, but then I saw MoT on the list and realized it had to be that. There's just so much good in it. It does such a wonderful job of establishing how at home Merlin has become in Camelot, all his friends come to help him, Gwen and Morgana are awesome 😍 And of course all the Merthur stuff. When Arthur asks if Merlin has found a place where he fits in? 😭 Hunith absolutely shipping them? But what really tips this one over the edge for me is Will. I love him so much. He's such a good character, even though he's only in one episode. He's Merlin's best friend!!!! I have put a lot of thought and fanfic into what they must have been like together in Ealdor. Merlin being in the middle of the conflict between Arthur and Will.......... Ugh I could go on but this is already long 😅 And Dr. Bashir as Kanen is always fun 🤣

Season 2: The Last Dragonlord. My favorite episode of the whole series. I love Balinor sooooooooo much. He is just so. How do I put this into words? He's so harsh when we first meet him, but he is willing to help. There's a gentleness to him that has been hardened by years of intense persecution and grief. He's the last of his kind, just like Kilgharrah 😭 He's so lonely and expects nothing from Merlin, but then..........KASJDFIHALKSJAJD;LJAKJSDASJFDSK. Him and Merlin! All their scenes are so good!!!!! When Merlin says "We could be happy," my heart is destroyed. They got no time with each other!!!!! He would have been so good for Merlin!!!! And the little dragon he whittles for Merlin?? 😭😭😭 I am not okay. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HUNITH AND BALINOR. ROMANCE OF ALL TIME. Tolkien level love story. But so tragic. Again, I have spent a lot of time and fanfic thinking about what could have been.

Season 3: The Coming of Arthur, part 2 if I have to pick. One word: Mercelot. Merlin with the sword and Lancelot there and Merlin showing off 😭😭😭 THEM. lakjdlkajlkdjskfasjlkdslkjsalkja. It's also a really good episode and so cool to see the round table and everybody becoming knights. One of the episodes of all time. Honorary mention to The Sorcerer's Shadow. Merlin and Gilli have such an interesting dynamic.

Season 4: Some personal favorites in this season, but I gotta go with The Secret Sharer. Everybody is WORKING in this episode. Agravaine has finally gone too far and it almost breaks Merlin and Arthur 😭 Ugh that scene in the council chambers. "He would not have left without saying goodbye to me." Just kill me now. And then way Gwen is there to check on Merlin 😭 And then Gwaine! GWAINE!!!! A great Merwaine episode. He got bored of playing soldiers! He's really just here for Merlin!! The way Merlin is so dismissive of him at first! But then he helps him and the deleted scene!! And then of course all the Emrys stuff with the Catha is so cool. I'm a bit of a Gaius hater, but I love his relationship with Merlin and it's so strong and good in this one. And then what Gaius says to Arthur at the end 🥲 I'm fine.

Season 5: The Diamond of the Day, part 2. I feel like I don't really need to explain this one? You get it.

I finished the second episode of Heartstopper last night (wanted to post about it yesterday, but I was too tired from work), so here are some of my thoughts in no particular order for you now.

Good on Nick for checking up on Charlie after what happened. I found it odd, though, that he seemed more emotional about it than Charlie, but I guess they're in two very different places, mentally. One being 'why do I seem to like this guy way more than my other friends?' & the other being 'omg stop being so nice to me, your straight!' lol. Plus, I get that everyone deals with stuff in their own way & poor Charlie is probably so used to being mistreated that he might just be repressing the full weight of how his feeling as a copeing mechanism. It was also probably very cathartic to finally tell someone everything that happened between him & Ben (as I'm guessing he kept most if not all of it a secret from his friends & sister).

WE FINALLY MEET NELLIE!!!! And she is as cute as I'd hoped (though for some reason I expected her to be a different colour).

Sorry, Charlie, but Tori's right. Your hair looks exactly the same. Also, love that they kept the gag from the novel about her scaring him with her, always showing up suddenly without warning.

Nice to see that the outfits are on point for our boys so far with the plaid/black jeans (trying to impress someone, I see Charlie) & T-shirt/joggers (also what product is Miss Nelson using coz Nick's tops look soft as hell).

Wait, what season is it supposed to be because it looked really sunny when Charlie was walking to Nick's house (I know he was wearing a coat & hat but Charlie is always cold) but then suddenly it's snowing? Idk when Alice first came up with this story, but as a Brit, I haven't seen proper full on Snow since I was probably around eight years old. But hey, maybe in the Heartstopper universe, global warming doesn't exist.

I don’t care what anyone says, I will never get the fun of a snowball fight. If I go somewhere with a friend & they start throwing stuff at me, I'm leaving! Also, picking it up with your bare hands? One, it's been on the ground 🤢, and two, where are your gloves? Do you not feel the cold? Snow angles do look fun until I think about how my entire behind would be frozen/damp. Sorry if that makes me a "stick in the mud", I don't care 😝.

I think it's good we get to see Elle longing for a bond with other girls that she just can't get from her male friend group. Makes her transition feel more fleshed out (for lack of a better word), you know?

Yay, we finally meet Tara & Darcy & they're exactly how I thought they'd be (except I imagined Darcy with brown hair for some reason). Ooh I didn't know Elle was artistic. I wanna decorate pencil cases now. Tara's pink puffa coat is so cute. What is up with adults dictating how long kids' hair can be? Like who gives a fuck! Also "gal pals" had me 😆.

Oh, thank god, it's just misinformation. For a second, I thought Tao was making shit up just to make Charlie get over his crush. Are kids really like that, though? I can't imagine kissing someone once & having people insist, I'm madly in love with them to this day, like move on already.

Love Charlie's sweater & Nick's coats are also very nice. Where are these kids getting their clothes? Coz I'm embarrassed by most of the stuff I wore as a teenager.

So ive been thinking abt She-ra lately (spop specifically) and ohmy god it fucking sucks. like i get so mad anytime i remember it, like and if anyone asks me abt it im gonna warn them do NOT watch this show FOR UR OWN GOOD. unless u dont mind an entire season of fanservice AND BY FANSERVICE I DONT MEAN NUDITY OR THE ANIME KIND, ILL GIVE YALL THAT, i mean specifically how they made catradora canon w virtually no other buildup than they were raised together and ooh they hate each other ouuh ;)) enemies to lovers oouogh🫦 like if ur gonna make a ship like theirs work its gotta have some sort of proper progression w their relationship right? But no, the ENTIRE time up until MIDWAY INTO THE LAST SEASON theyre constantly at each others throats like. its not even fun at that point, it just looks weirdly abusive and toxic. And hey, while were still here, catradora in execution is Such a bad ship bc like. They were raised together. by the Same Person. not even just under the Horde, theyre literally both raised by Shadow weaver. and before their rivalry and in several flashbacks their relationship moreso implicates sisterhood than anything. like idk i dont wanna get too bold here, but it just feels a little too close to !nc3st to just put them together like that?

Omg and lets talk about Fucking SHADOW WEAVER omg. like throughout the whole show were shown and told abt how much of an abusive parental figure she was to adora and especially catra right? But then at THE LITERAL VERY END, Shadow Weaver SELFLESSLY sacrifices herself to help catra and adora save the world. SHadow Weaver, whose entire essence was her desire for Power, who betrayed her own people to obtain it. Who's only semblance of a redemption was her working with the Princesses, just because she would be in a better position of power. no remorse whatsoever for how she treated the two as kids. Nevermind her fake-out to catra that one time, in fact that scene highlights just how easily she'll manipulate those close to her to get what she wants. and u expect me to just "oh wow shadow weaver is so noble for that! This is so sad! poor catra and adora, they lost their now-good mommy!" (again, *their* mommy, eugh). Like im having a hard time believing they were able to mourn her loss like that at all. We've seen them both have very complicated feelings about Shadow weaver. Ok well to be fair we didnt actually GET to see them mourn. which IS ALSO SOMETHING I HAVE ISSUE WITH

I want to see it in action, i want to see real progression, ESPECIALLY bc its the main ship, not "ooh they might be gay!!11! ooh they might kiss :) oouhh" and then last second theyre like "btw theyre in love now ;)"

Like id *maybe* get it if there were time constraints like with TOH, id get it if they were like "the idea and concept were there, mr CEO wanted us to shut down the party." but from my research, they didnt really have any constraints like that. And im saying *maybe* bc like with TOH for instance, even though they were forced to cut the show in half, they still delivered everything to progress and end the show properly! They had an *afterword*! they had Lumity and Huntlow and Raeda!! And oh my god the progression of Lumity is so sweet and beautiful! we get to see their "enemy" phase, we get to see them fall for each other, we get to see them date, we get their First Kiss!! We get to see how much they care for each other!! And sure, on the flipside we dont really get to see Huntlow. But thats bc the show got cut before it could *really* take off. There was supposed to be a whole season of Willow and Hunter's hijinks while the gang was in Connecticut. There was supposed to be a whole season of the gang adjusting to Connecticut! We were supposed to see the Archivists involvement and the ultimate showdown in the 4th season!! But they had to be economical bc of the cut, right? So they made a montage of Connecticut, they made three separate, HOUR LONG episodes depicting what couldve happened in the 3rd and 4th seasons. we get to see Willow reciprocate Hunters feelings in the 2nd ep! And most importantly, we get a real conclusion!! we get to see everyone rebuild, we get to see how theyve adjusted, how their lives and relationships have changed. We get a satisfying moment for it all to sink in. we get to properly say our farewells to the characters. All loose ends are properly tied! The Owl House may not be in my top list of cartoons, but u have to admit, it has a very good and satisfying conclusion. And all that with such intense time constraints too.

Now dont get me wrong, She-ra and its characters is written incredibly well (mostly) and its LGBT/POC rep is a game-changer. Heck, i loved Scorfuma, and that was only crumbs of a side ship. And the character designs/animation/colors are absolutely gorgeous, like that is honestly what probably pulled me to watch this show. Im just disappointed in what couldve been, yk? It had so much potential. especially in its last season, it just feels like the writers had too much setup and didnt know how to resolve it. 2/10 would not recommend.

Final thoughts: That was so fun to read omg, we really need an anime adaptation or a movie even that could work too Aside from that, I get why its called REIGEN and not TOME despite Tome being the protagonist, the spinoff it is about Reigen, its about what he taught to mob and others, the core message of the series "You arent special" Tome's arc here is understanding that. She feels lonely and bored beacuse she cant be herself in this new enviroment, shes an outsider, different from the other girls that are just interested in superficial things so she goes to s&s to be around things that she enjoys, ghosts, cursed places, psychic powers, etc. She isnt seeing that theres more things to see However she then realizes that the rest of the girls do have that problem of feeling like an outsider beacuse of their interests and when they realize that theyre all weird they start trusting each other and start to fully enjoy their company, she understands that her situation is not special, theres many more people that accept her as she is, she starts enjoying the connection she has with others, shes found a place where she fits in Thats what reigen did, he was able to find a place where he can be with the help of others, this ones about apreciating the connections we make with others

Since this is my first time doing more then one character in a single post, I'm gonna switch my style a lil, let's do Albedo first ^^

Regressor Albedo:

—Albedo will vehemently (ooh big word O-O) refuse his regression, to the point he slips at the worst of times! Luckily Sucrose is with him, or the lil man could get hurt.

—Albedo is a totally nonverbal baby, you won't get a word out of him! The only time he'll speak is to ask for Kaeya(Dada).

—Albedo's reckless experiments without proper safety gear have given him some bladder damage, so he's now medically padded. He hates it. Grumpiest boy in Teyvat when he first was told he needed diapers.

—Albedo is a very clingy baby, he'll cry if he's put down, always needs to be held.

—Albedo's Pacifier was actually a birthday gift from Kaeya! He carries it everywhere, even when not small because it reminds him of Kaeya.

Caregiver Kaeya:

—most people assume that Kaeya would be less of a dad and more the "fun uncle" that lets get away with things dad said no on, but he's actually very responsible with his baby.

—Kaeya always has bandaids on him because Albedo almost never stops and treats the injuries he gets from work, which makes for a very upset baby.

—Kaeya is admittedly a very hyper caregiver, which can lead to some adorable mishaps with a low energy baby. Kaeya tries to do fun things with Albedo to show that Kaeya loves him, but Albedo is only a little guy. Albedo understands though, it's just Dada being sillies and getting a little overzealous.(:0 another big word)

—Kaeya has become a living chew toy many times before, Albedo is the "chews on anything but a teether" kind of baby. Kaeya's hair is a personal favorite of the chaos gremlin.

—Kaeya is a clingy caregiver, can't stand not being with his kiddo for more than five minutes. Albedo's just as bad though, so it works out.

Together:

—Kaeya spoils the crap out of this lil man, Albedo has so many toys he doesn't know what to do with half of them. Albedo's favorite is a wooden play set of a chemistry lab, he loves pretending to do his grown-up work without the risk of ouchies!

—Albedo will occasionally get random bursts of energy, which leads to an impromptu game of tag/hide 'n seek. Kaeya says he gets the zoomies.

—Albedo is not a difficult baby when it comes to surrendering his vision (thankfully), Albedo knows or at least understands that it's probably not a good idea for a baby to have a magical relic that holds a god's power.

—Kaeya and Albedo have picnics every week, it's a little tradition of theirs, a time for Albedo to just fully embrace his Littlespace without any worries. In the warm seasons they go to the park, and during the colder ones they stay home and have their picnic in the living room, Albedo gets to stay up and watch cartoons with Dada all night!

—Group naps. Just....Group naps. Imagine; baby Albedo tucked under his Dada's arm nursing his pacifier while Kaeya reads him a story or plays with his hair. If your heart didn't melt visualizing that, congratulations, you have no soul /j

Overall, these two dorks are perfect for each other, 12/10, highly recommend 👌

Dominator of Martial Gods

tl:dr for this drama

Each episode is 35 minutes long, feels like 3,500 minutes, and delivers maybe 10 minutes worth of story. Impressive! 

We waste a great deal of time in the first few episodes watching Qin Chen and the bootlicking alchemist refine a needle that will allow our hero to activate his bloodline. Intriguing, because you often hear dramas refer to treasures being refined into weapons, but you never see the process. There's a reason for this- it does not make for compelling viewing. But that does not stop us from standing around arguing about the specs and adding things to the oven. This process was more fun when Chu Wanning just takes you up to the lake. On a technical note, I am enamored of the way the ever present green screened background makes no attempt to be in scale with the human actors.

My Deepest Dream

Ooh, a plot with a time loop, evil birds, superpowers, getting sucked into the Marianas Trench when you just wanted to go on a scuba diving excursion and JIN HAN!!! But, as always, there's a glitch in the matrix.

Our heroine realizes she has lost a year of her life and no one has noticed. No one except the astrophysics PhD candidate turned car mechanic Wu Yu (JIN HAN!!!). Wu Yu divulges that he can read a phone screen at 10 kilometers. But mostly he uses his special eyes to keep an elaborate dossier on the comings and goings of the FL, who lives across the street from the garage he works at. Is that creepy or romantic?

[Living Room]

Kitty: I haven't seen you in a while, Chloe, Akira. How have you been?

Chloe: I've been great~! I’m so glad we get to see each other again, right, Master Sage?

Akira: Yep! It’s incredible to be able to sit down with you again.

That day, Hello Kitty and her friends found that they could suddenly use magic and came to this world to see us.

Kitty: I wanted to see everyone again too. We probably can’t stay long, but I’m grateful for the time we can spend together.

Chloe: In that case, we better make the most of it! I wanna do lots of things together like, “Yay! You’re really here!” kinda vibes, y’know?

Akira: Agreed! Let’s have as much fun today as we can. What do you guys want to do?

Chloe: Hmm, let me think… Ooh, I wanna make something for Miss Kitty!

Kitty: Why, I would love that!

Akira: It’s something only you could do for her.

Chloe: Ehehe, I’m glad you like the idea! What kind of clothes do you want? I can make anything, so don’t be shy!

Kitty: Hmm, I wonder…

Kitty: I would love a pretty dress to wear for a piano recital, but a cute apron for making sweets also sounds nice.

Kitty: Oh, I just can’t decide.

Chloe: Alright then, let’s make both!

Kitty: Will you be fine with that?

Chloe: Of course I am! Just leave it to me! We can get started right now, actually. Do you guys wanna head to my room?

Wearing an elegant dress, Kitty greeted me with a spin, twirling to show off her outfit.

It was red with a matching ribbon and delicate lace accents around the collar to match. The entire composition felt balanced, yet elaborate all at once—a perfect fit for Hello Kitty.

Akira: Wow, you look beautiful…! Compared to your usual cutesy style, this outfit is so chic! I love the new look!

Kitty: Ehehe, thank you. This is such a beautiful dress. It makes Kitty so happy! Chloe is amazing as always, isn’t he?

Chloe: All I’m doing is bringing out your natural charm! I had a ton of fun making it too!

As the two of them complimented each other back and forth, their voices seemed to skip and dance merrily.

Akira: (I’m sure they had a great time talking to each other while Chloe was sewing. They both love fashion after all.)

Chloe: Alright, now let’s model the next outfit.

Chloe: <<Suispicibo Voitingoc>>!

As Chloe cast his spell, both of their outfits changed into clean, white aprons.

Akira: …Oh?

Then, when I looked down, I noticed my clothes had changed to match theirs as well. All three of us were now wearing aprons embroidered with apples and piano keys.

Kitty: Chloe granted my wish. I wanted to have matching aprons with you and the other Western wizards too!

Akira: Kitty…! Thank you so much. I absolutely love this…!

Chloe: Miss Kitty was the one who came up with the design. Isn’t it great?

Akira: It’s greater than great! I love how it’s both cute and casual at the same time, nice going.

Kitty: Ufufu. It makes me happy to be able to wear such lovely outfits with my friends ♪

Kitty: Now, we can accomplish the last thing I want to do together.

Chloe: Oh? What’s that? I wanna know!

Kitty: I’d like to make sweets with everyone.

Akira: Wow, that’s a great idea!

Chloe: That sounds super fun! I don’t bake very often, but I’d love to try it with you.

Kitty: Thank you! Next, we have to decide what to make. Is there anything the two of you would like?

Akira: Not really… Anything would be fine by me.

Chloe: Tarts, muffins, apple pie… Everything sounds delicious. I can’t decide either…

Kitty: Ufufu, it’s okay to take your time. Kitty can wait.

Saying that, Kitty began to hum a little song. It was a bright and cheerful tune.

Kitty: ~♪ ~~♪

Chloe: …Oh! Weren’t you humming that earlier when we were coming up with the apron design?

Akira: I’ve heard that melody before! It’s strangely familiar for some reason…

Kitty: Oh? Do you know it? It’s the song I like to sing when I’m making sweets.

Kitty: Especially when I’m making popcorn. I like to think it gives the corn a little extra pop!

Chloe: Haven’t you made us popcorn before, Master Sage?

Akira: Yep. It’s a treat made by heating up corn kernels—

Suddenly, we made eye contact—like the same thought just crossed our mind—and smiled.

Akira: We know what we’re going to make!

[Puroland]

Chloe: Thank you for teaching us that song, Miss Kitty. It was super fun singing while we made popcorn together.

Akira: The other Western wizards seemed like they had a pretty good time too. Murr was bouncing around like he was popcorn the whole time.

Kitty: I had a lot of fun too! I’m so glad we got to spend this time together ♪

After a successful world-hopping trip, it was now Kitty’s turn to invite us to Puroland.

To thank us, she wanted to give us a tour in exchange.

Chloe: If you ask me, just getting to wear these cute fits is plenty!

Kitty: Ufufu, thank you. However, I want to do even more for you to show my appreciation.

Kitty: Could you two come with me? There’s a place I want to show you.

As we followed her, the landscape transformed into more natural scenery as the trees grew into a forest around us.

Kitty: This is the place. The night sky looks especially beautiful from here, so I wanted to stargaze with you.

Looking upwards, my breath was taken away.

Chloe: Whoa…!

Akira: Amazing! The sky is filled with stars…!

Kitty: Isn’t it wonderful~♪ And there’s one more surprise too.

Kitty: <<Makkuromi>>!

Kitty casted a spell, causing something to appear.

Chloe: Is this… a bonfire? Oh! And marshmallows!

Kitty: Let’s make this the best night ever by telling stories and toasting marshmallows under the stars.

Akira: Wow, it’s a picture-perfect scene…!

Chloe: This night is gonna be incredible! You’re the best, Miss Kitty!

We sat ourselves around the fire with excitement and began skewering marshmallows.

Akira: There’s nothing quite like toasted marshmallows.

Chloe: Right, right? They’re so much fun every time.

Chloe: Oh, I have an idea. Since you have a popcorn song, why don’t we make up a marshmallow one too?

Kitty: That’s a great idea! I’m sure it’ll make our treats taste even yummier.

Kitty: I wonder what the lyrics should be. If we’re describing marshmallows, “white” comes to mind…

Chloe: And fluffy…

Akira: Then they get all sticky when you heat them up. The way the texture completely changes makes it fun. It’s almost like magic.

Chloe: Oh that’s a great line! It is almost like magic!

Kitty: I agree, it’s wonderful! I suppose we have our lyrics then.

Kitty: White and fluffy~♪ Sweet and tasty~♪ Let’s cast a fiery spell on our marshmallows~♪

Kitty: Alright everyone, together now!

As we sang our new song under the stars, toasting marshmallows together, the smiles we shared shone brighter than the bonfire.

Akira: Good afternoon, Chloe. You seem like you’re in a good mood.

Akira: I’m sorry for surprising you like that, but you seemed like you were having a good time. Are you making… popcorn?

Chloe: Yep. I was thinking about when Miss Kitty visited and how much fun I had with her and the other Western wizards.

Chloe: It made me miss her all of a sudden, so I decided to make some popcorn in her honor.

Chloe: I was also going to try the secret ingredient she told me about while we were toasting marshmallows!

Akira: Caramel, right? You’re supposed to heat up some butter and marshmallows to drizzle over the mix…

Akira: Then, you sing the song she taught us.

Chloe: Exactly, If I do all that, we’ll definitely meet again right?

Chloe: But when I tried singing, it was difficult for me to replicate the chants by myself, so I ended up humming it instead.

Akira: Ahaha, is that what happened? In that case, I’ll sing with you. Just leave the chants to me!

Chloe: Really? Thank you! I feel a lot better singing with you here too.

Chloe: Alright then, let’s do this! One and two…!

i love quinn so much she’s such a bitch but also she’s so real for so many of the things she does and says, she’s a character i would love to write about someday when i branch out from my tiny seblaine bubble

all the people i ship romantically with this character

my main ship for quinn is rachel i just really like their dynamic and history and i really wish the creators made them canon. i do enjoy some quinntana and fabrevans just for funsies as well. other than that i don’t really have any romantic ships for quinn. i think her canon relationships with finn and puck served their purposes in her life but i prefer them as friends with some awkward history

my non-romantic otp for this character

quinncedes my beloved, their friendship is so sweet to me and i find them so endearing. i also love the unholy trinity’s friendship they’re very awful to each other but very fun

my unpopular opinion about this character

i don’t know if this is unpopular per se but i think quinn was in the right for trying to get her baby away from shelby. she obviously had ulterior motives but shelby was real fucked up and her relationship with puck was terrible and shouldn’t have happen ever even remotely in the first place

one thing i wish would happened/had happened with this character in canon

obviously for faberry to happen but more specifically i wish we got to see more of her friendship with rachel after graduation; i feel like the writers always ignored a lot of the supposed closeness the nds had in favor of drama (or yknow just rachel’s life or whatever) but the bonds between all of them would’ve been nice to see

my SON my favorite specialest character ever he’s a bastard he’s a slut he’s the lover boy who never got a chance he’s everything to me i make it known to everyone and he will always be cherished by me

blaine obvs my otp in the most genuine way literally what got me back into writing, but also i do like the idea of kurtbastian i just need to get myself more used to it before i really dive into them. jeffbastian is a little cute to me especially because of how bright we burn but never gonna be a super serious ship of mine. other than that, no one really or at least no one canon. many nameless faces have been in his past and future of course

my sweet match made in hell sebtana, i think about my stepcousins au so much i’ve forgotten they’re not actually canon and have talked like twice but they’re still my favs. they’re team rocket in another life

my unpopular opinion about this character

that he’s not heartless skank trash and actually a person who’s yeah pretty shitty at times but everyone in this show is pretty shitty at times and that doesn’t make them evil. it’s really easy to villainize sebastian and i get it, honestly i’ve villainized the shit out of some of the other characters before in my head, but at the end of the day he’s some petty competitive guy who wanted to fuck his crush and had the bigotry of most teenage boys at any point of the history of society. he’s neither a perfect angel of a character nor the devil and he’s got potential to grow like any of us. i don’t really fault anyone for being pissed it just kinda makes me sad because he’s my fav, but whatever yknow

one thing i wish would happened/had happened with this character in canon

pretty obvious that i wish seblaine got together but beyond that i wish they became friends again at any point in the show. i know because of the timing between flash and later seasons of the show + the overwhelming love of klaine, seblaine both platonically and/or romantically didn’t really stand a chance but i feel like they could’ve at least hinted at a reunion between the two.
