Diluc CG headcanons!!! These are centered around a Regressor who’s had S* trauma bcuz certain things abt him just make me feel like he’s a safe person <3

❤️ he’d be extra protective than he would be with littles that have negative past encounters but not protective that it’s suffocating

❤️ He’d be very gentle with them and always make sure that they’re okay with physical affection b4 he initiates any !! So they’re not alarmed or scared and they slowly get used to him and know that he’s a trusted person

Reader who has either a fire or electro vision dealing with a regressed and fussy Neuvillette who keeps trying to get them to take a bath with him. Thing is Neuvillette tends to bathe in a nearby lake, using the native lily pads as a basin, his hair obscuring him from view. Not realizing that they can't swim and are extremely fearful of open water. Even though reader's told big! him about this, little! Neuvillette tends to forget. Trying to pull them towards the lake. Letting out annoyed whines when they don't budge.

'Lovey, we can't go to the lake right now.' Gulping down the lump in their throat. 'But why not?!' The hydro dragon stomping his feet. 'Because it's not safe, you could drown.' One of the many excuses reader would give him when he's in such a head space. Usually placating him by offering to go splash in puddles created by the current downpour. Little Neuvillette unaware of the affect his emotions have on the weather. More intense than when he's big.

The duo going back inside when his periwinkle rain boots fill with water. Sloshing with each step. Reader has him empty them outside, the tired sovereign dragging his feet while he walks. Sitting on the couch with a fluffy towel wrapped around him. The lake all but forgotten in his mind.
