‘This’ involves scrolling through social media and reaching the bottom of a pit dug so deep you’ve lost the measurement of its depth.

Some pictures of you and your ex-girlfriend from over four years ago from your college days resurfaced. You don’t know how that happened, considering how you and your ex-girlfriend always only had private socials back then, and you weren’t known for being associated with any sort of celebrity at all.

Unlike now, when you are known as Outer Banks actor Drew Starkey’s girlfriend. Drew Starkey: one of the emerging faces in Hollywood. He seems to be gaining more and more traction each day, especially leading up to the release of his movie ‘Queer’.

With his ever increasing fame, you are also becoming more and more well known. You and Drew don’t have a secret relationship, but it’s quite private. Firstly Drew isn’t active on his socials, and secondly, you’re only seen when you are Drew’s plus one for the different events he’s invited to.

Due to such scarce presence on social media and in real life, each time you and him are spotted, even a single photo tends to go extremely viral in Drew’s fandom. Even though what you mostly see are sweet comments complimenting you and Drew, a hate comment or two does sneak its way in among the positive ones, which doesn’t essentially surprise you because you know fandoms tend to get possessive over their idols; and Drew’s fandom isn’t any different. You’ve learnt to accept it and ignore it, even though sometimes it does nag you in the back of your mind, Drew always helps you feel better and helps to get your mind off them until you practically forget you ever even read them.

But this time, this time, you fear the situation is a little out of hand.

With the photos resurfacing and the source being entirely anonymous, you aren’t seeing the best comments under the pictures. Some fans have dug so far in your life to figure out you’ve only dated girls before Drew, creating the assumption you’re actually a lesbian. Some claim you’re with Drew for his money, because your dating history is only girls, and it’s “weird” now that you’re with a man. Some claim you as a toxic partner, and say you have Drew completely fooled. You even saw a few ‘savedrew’ hashtags in the comments, but thank goodness it didn’t end up becoming an active trend.

Due to the privacy of your relationship, you never came out publicly that you’re bisexual, but your friends and family, and Drew, are fully aware about your sexuality because you are completely out to them. Drew has always appreciated you the same, before he knew you were bisexual and after he knew you were bisexual. His love for you was never impacted by your coming out, and he knows it never will.

You shut your phone and keep it aside, taking a deep, shaky breath as you look up at the ceiling of your shared hotel room with Drew. You can feel a few tears stinging the corners of your eyes, and you let your eyelids fall shut, the small tears silently starting to roll down your cheeks.

Your blurry vision trains over to the closed bathroom door from where you can hear the shower running, knowing Drew is getting ready for your night out with him. You both are in Italy as a simple vacation before Drew has to go back to LA and begin working on some upcoming projects, and it’s your first night in the country, for which you’ve decided to have authentic Italian gelato as an after dinner treat.

You can practically hear the comments you have read in your head, all of them getting progressively worse. You know you aren’t using Drew for his money, and Drew knows that too, yet the comments and watching an entire fandom side against you was starting to get to you.

Your thoughts are cut through smoothly when you hear Drew stepping out of the washroom after his shower, a towel tied neatly around his waist.

“You ready?” He asks you sweetly as he gets some clothes to wear.

You nod at him and watch him finish getting ready for your little night out as you sit there, pushing the ugly comments as far as you can in your head.

Drew gets ready in a few minutes and you both leave your hotel, walking out on the cobblestoned streets of the beautiful city, letting the streetlights and lamp posts enlighten your path for you.

You both walk in silence with your hand perfectly intertwined with his, your gaze fixed down at your shoes and the way they clack against the cobblestones. Drew notices you being quieter than usual, and he feels tempted to ask you what’s on your mind, because the last thing he ever wants to see is you feeling sad or bothered by something in any sort of way.

But before Drew can even think of acting on his thoughts, you both are forced to turn your heads around when you hear shouts of Drew’s names being called. Your eyes fall on a group of youngsters, and the moment they grab Drew’s attention, they yell out more sounds of excitement, ushering over to him.

He laughs affectionately when he’s surrounded by the small group of the fans, causing you to be pushed just a little to the side; something you’ve gotten the hang of because you know the fans are essentially here to see him, and not you. So you decide to take a couple steps back and watch Drew interact patiently with everyone, letting them take pictures and videos with him as he talks and signs their shirts, books etc. for them.

You can see a young girl and a boy from the group constantly giving you a side eye as you decide to distract yourself with your phone after you take a picture or two of Drew meeting the group. You can’t lie, the side eyes seem quite judge-y to you and you feel yourself fidgeting under their gaze.

But it gets worse when they speak within themselves but it’s loud enough that you catch it, and Drew catches it.

“She’s still with him?” The girl says to the boy who just rolls his eyes.

“Drew clearly didn’t catch the message,” the boy mumbles, and your eyes dart over to Drew who was signing a girl’s cap but stopped at the words. You catch the look in his eyes; it’s the look of protectiveness, possessiveness and anger all mixing in one – a very dangerous combination to be seen in Drew’s usually warm blue eyes.

“What did you say?” Comes his voice. It’s low, monotone, and carries a very heavy drift of coldness. The sudden deep words cause everyone to fall silent, especially the boy and the girl, who’s eyes widen when they realize Drew has his gaze zeroed on them.

“N-nothing…” the boy stammers, and you can see both the girl and boy have their pulse quickening more and more with each passing second.

You can see how scared they are starting to get, and you quickly rush over to Drew’s side, your fingers curling around his bicep in that all too familiar way; the way you use when Drew gets slightly more angry than he should and is on the verge of blowing up.

This touch of yours always causes him to start to calm down, but this time, he isn’t even close to relaxing. You can see his muscles are tensing even more as he glares at the boy and the girl.

“Drew please–” you begin to speak slowly, your fingertips starting to dig into his bicep but he ignores you.

“No, I want to hear them repeat what they said.” He mutters through gritted teeth, his attention fixed on the boy and the girl. “What did you say about my girl? ‘Why is she still with me?’ Why wouldn’t she still be with me huh?”

The girl and the boy fall completely silent, and so does the entire group. They get completely nervous under Drew’s cold gaze, all of them looking any other way but at Drew or you.

“Now I don’t know what that was about,” he begins, “but I better not hear more of that bullshit alright?” His words come out disdainful, his entire body stiff as you feel his bicep tighten under your grip.

With one scoff he takes your hand which is around his bicep in his own hand and pulls you away from the group. “Come on let’s go baby,” he says, not looking even once at the group as he leads you away from them.

Once you both are out of their earshot, he turns around in a small alleyway and stops you both right there.

“Don’t listen to them bubs, please don’t,” He mumbles softly, his hand coming up to your cheek to gently caress your skin. “You know it’s all just bullshit, their jealousy is bullshit,”

You let out a soft sigh as you feel his fingers softly trail over your cheek. This is what he always tells you when you encounter the common hate you tend to get for being with him, but this time, you know it was for an entirely different reason.

“This was different Drew,” you mutter, your gaze fixed down at your shoes, your fingers fiddling with each other.

Drew’s eyebrows furrow at your words. “Different? Different how?”

You take a deep breath and exhale it out from your nose as you train your gaze up to meet his. “My old pictures with my ex-girlfriend from college resurfaced on the internet, along with my past dating history,” you whisper, “and everyone’s been saying I’m taking advantage of your money and I have you fooled because I’ve only dated girls before you, and they think I’m a lesbian,”

Drew’s eyes widen at these words escaping your lips, his fingers caressing your cheek stopping its motion. “Jesus,” he mutters, and you can see flecks of anger and rage beginning to appear in his eyes.

A small silence falls over you both as you both look in different directions, your gaze back at your shoes and his flitting around your surroundings of the alleyway, as if in deep thought.

“I’ll talk about it,” he says suddenly, causing you to look up in his eyes with a hint of confusion in your eyes. “I’ll address this on social media, I’ll say I’ve always known you’re bisexual, and that you’ve always been out, and I’ve never doubted that. This can’t go on, the last thing I want is people being homophobic to you just because you’ve only dated girls before I came in your life. You don’t deserve that baby, and I’ll fix this matter right up okay?”

You look at him with your eyes starting to widen, a thin layer of glass forming over them.

“Unless–” he says again, “you don’t want to come out to the general public?”

“No no,” you shake your head at his words, “I’m okay with that, more than okay with that,” you mumble.

Drew sighs softly as he nods, his hands trailing down your arms and finding your hips, which he gently squeezes before pulling you in a warm embrace.

“I’m so sorry you had to hear that baby,” he whispers. “I’m so so sorry. I’ll fix this first thing tomorrow you hear me? There is no way in heck I’m letting you hear more on this,”

You bury your face in his chest and close your eyes shut, a few tears making their way down your eyes and pressing against his shirt as they do so. He squeezes you closer to him when he feels your tears against his shirt, one hand coming up to slip into your hair and gently scratch your scalp.

“Thank you, Drew,” you mumble against his shirt, your voice coming out muffled.

“Don’t thank me bubs this is the least I can do,” he says softly. He gently pulls your head back from his chest, holding your face in his hands as he looks in your eyes.

“The next time you see something on social media you tell me straight away okay? Don’t hide anything from me, I’ll find a way to fix it each time,” he whispers, his thumbs caressing your cheeks to wipe the tears.

You nod as you look back in his eyes, a look of earnest gratitude shining through them.

He presses a soft kiss to the top of your head, letting his lips linger against your skin for a moment before looking back in your eyes. He pulls from the embrace and takes your hand, intertwining his with it firmly.

“Now come on, I believe I still have to buy you some gelato,” he says softly with a warm smile, tugging gently on your hand.

You sniff as you nod, letting him lead you out of the silent alleyway.

The post debuts on Drew’s Instagram the very next morning, a long caption along with a carousel of your favorite pictures with him throughout the years of your dating journey. The comments fill up with supporters, everyone showering you with love and loads even congratulating you for coming out to the general public. The comments and appreciation makes you smile warmly, making you realize no matter what happens, Drew will always be by your side, because he’s here to stay.

Max looks at you sceptical but before he can say anything “You guys go! I wanna stay with Yn!” Penelope says, setting down her dolls. You smile at the 5 year old.

Kelly looks at Max, who sighs and shrugs. Kelly looks at you two “The little one can be fed on formula already, right?” Kelly nods “Alright, alright. I do think we both need a break” Max says, sliding his arm around kelly.

Max looks at you, and you look at Alex “You’re impossible Alex” “You love me still” She smiles “I do. But I also wanna throw you off the boat” She gasps dramatically “How dare you!” She tries to hold back her smile.

Penelope comes running “P, I told you. Please no running here! Don’t want you to fall off please” “I can swim!” “Your mother would not be happy. And you keep taking off your vest. Either you put it on or you slow down” She nods “Okay. I’ll slow down.”

“Okay, thank you. What can we do for you?” “Wanted to see the baby” She smiles. You look at Max, who is currently holding the child. P climbs next to him and leans on his shoulder “So pretty” She gently stokes the baby’s arm.

You smile at them and Alex nudges you and wiggles her brows. You swat her arm and look back to the three. Max listens to something P is telling him, but you can only focus on him.

He does look good with kids and- No. No no no. To far.

You shake your head. You can’t ruin whatever was now going on between you two. And if it is just being friends. It would go back the way it used to be.

You look up from your phone, Alex was also on her phone and Max had his eyes closed. “Daniel wants to tell Lando” Alex looks at you and Max opened his eyes “Tell him what?” Alex asks, sitting up and putting her phone down.

You look at Max, who raised an eyebrow “What have you told him.” “Everything.” “Everything?” “Everything..”

Max’s lips form into a thin line and Alex scoots closer to you “Why?” “Because he thinks we’re dating or something” Max tilts his head “Why would he think that?” “Because we’re hanging out.”

“Is he, i’m sorry but stupid?” “No, hurt and jealous” Alex says. Max looks at her “How much do you know?”

She looks at you and bites her lips “Oh god, also everything?” You nod embarrassed and Max wipes his face “Alright, so what do we do?” “We certainly can’t tell Lando”

“He’d go nuts, probably” Alex says, which Max and you agree to “We’ll find a way. I mean it’s.. OH! It’s almost qualifying!” She yelps.

“Oh shit” Max says, walking inside to turn on the tv. You grab the baby and Alex goes to ask P if she wants to come watch qualifying, which she obviously agrees to. She has to watch Lando and Maxie of course!

Lando gets pole and max qualified 3rd after a one place penalty, that all three of you question “Have we ever had a one place grid drop?” You grimace “I don’t think so..” Max says, rocking the baby to sleep.

Alex shakes her head “But Charles is 2nd!” You chuckle “Yeah, guess that’s good”

You were sitting in your apartment, P and the baby were fast asleep in your guest room, Alexandra went home and you were sitting on your couch with Max.

“Do you think he’d actually tell Lando?” Max asks quietly. You shrug “I wouldn’t be surprised, if i’m honest” Max nods “Should we.. before..”

“I don’t know.. who knows if he’s bluffing or not. But Lando gets wind of this from daniel and not one of us, he won’t talk to us ever again.”

“Yeah.” You fall into silence again. Was it really worth telling Lando? You both know you wouldn’t do anything because of him, so why bother? Is it bad not telling him? You’re not lying if he’s not asking technically..

“We can’t just do absolutely nothing.” You agree but your phone lights up “Wait, it’s alex”

You read the texts out loud to him. You both sit in silence for a few moments.

He looks at you and you look at him.

“I..” You sigh and lean your head backwards down the armrest “It’s our choice in the end. We can only asume what daniel would tell him..” Max starts. You sit back up again, tears in your eyes that you try to blink away.

Max doesn’t hesitate and pulls you over to him into his lap. His arms tighten around him “I can’t loose him” “You won’t” “He’d hate us” “We’ll talk to your mum first, how about that?” You nod into his chest.

Max hand makes a soothing up and down motion, calming you slowly down “It’ll be okay” His forehead meets the side of your head. You stay like that for a few minutes until you look at him.

“What do we do?” His eyes struggle to stay at your eyes, and so do yours. You lean in but don’t touch him yet “We shouldn’t..” You whisper “Then why does it feel so right?”

Before your lips can finally meet, your phone rings. You jump and your head snaps to your phone. You climb back to your side “It’s kelly.” You pick up “Hey K.”

“Yeah everything’s great. Both of them are fast asleep.” You smile a bit “Oh uh..Well max is still here. But otherwise no one. Alex went home a few hours ago. We ordered take out after the two fell asleep and now we’re sitting here”

“Okay. See you soon then. Have a great time and wish max good luck!” You chuckle “Love you too!” You hang up and sigh. You kind of throw your phone on the coffee table and squeeze your eyes shut.

“Do you want me to go or…?” Max says quietly. You look at him “I mean it’s getting late and everything…” You nod “You’re right. Uhm.. are you gonna join us to watch the race tomorrow? I mean you normally stream so..” “Yeah, I don’t really wanna stream tomorrow.”

You follow him to your front door “Then sleep well and I’ll see you tomorrow” Max nods “Sleep well.” He smiles tightly and before he rounds the corner of the stairs he looks back one more time.

An unspoken understanding that this is something that needs to be addressed.

listen I might sound crazy but you know how Aventurine would spend all of his money on his family were they alive? like they grew up poor- worse than poor, and he is always gambling yes- but he is also insanely rich. you just know he'd shower them in money and buy everything for them and that credits today have little to no meaning to him because he has gotten them too late. it wasn't "fast enough" to save them, to ease their lives. and you just know he regrets it, but still hoards more credits, gambling, earning, wasting, etc.

now allow me to draw a parallel to a character in gi most of the fandom doesn't like. dori. LET ME SPEAK- dori's sister died (in her arms) from an illness because her family didn't have enough money to buy the herbs prescribed for her sister's treatment and that is why Dori ends up cherishing every mora/money, turns in a mora hungry capitalist powerhouse and makes everything about her; just money. because she couldn't help her sibling when it mattered. also the "limitless mora" for her comes from receiving a bunch of items from Alice (Klee's mom) - they made a business deal, etc, just a detail.

and it is interesting how most of the fandom dislikes dori so much (meta wise I get it, and also some other povs), when the parallel to aventurine is a straight line and he is loved and liked by so many (granted, I love riney). no amount of mora/credits can bring their family member(s) back or fix what happened, yet they stay in it, hoarding more, be it due to our boy's luck, or Dori's deal and persistence. I know many ppl draw his line to Kaveh, but from this pov it is screaming Dori.

and yh his story is more tragic- but we are talking money rn ppl- stay focused;

here is where their characters differ in the money area. with how little regard he has towards the money, Aventurine, our Kakavasha is so kind, so so kind. he gives out freely, he doesn't give two shits while sending money to the TB (it is worth mentioning that he thinks he also HAS to do it, and that gifts and things of high material value are most appreciated, ex. the gifts the TB receives after become the captain of the ship in penacony. he sadly has a view of it that everyone needs to be given something in return, truly struggling with forming real friendships/relationships except with the TB and Ratio- which I'd love to go more into on another analysis), he openly shares his money to whomever- and in his contrast, dori would probably rather jump off a cliff than give a single gold mora coin to... well, anyone.

both have been through such tragedy and turned rich later on through various means- when it technically no longer matters to them as much as it could've mattered before- and to see one be indifferent towards it/see it as a means to an end & what ppl respond well to vs. the other be stingy to the point she is hurting people while doing it and purposefully putting them in debt (I hate you for what you did to Kaveh TWICE, dori.), makes a really interesting parallel made by hoyo ngl. thoughts?

He doesn't necessarily tell you he's head over heels for you, but he loves showing you how much he loves touching you, caressing you, and wants to be draped all over you. Seriously, his hands never leave you.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He's the friend you know you're going to have the best time of your life with. Even if his idea of fun can be a little reckless and dangerous you know you can trust that nothing bad will ever happen.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He can't just lie there, he has to be touching you constantly. Smooth gliding his hands over you, following your body like a map. OOOH, I hc he has tattoos and adores it when you trace them, all over his thick, muscly arms and back. All in mutual, enjoyable silence.

Yeah he does, I can't imagine him cooking much other than simple meals. Like you know, when he's hungry and you're busy so you can't cook for him. He can make the simplest things taste the best tho, like for some reason his eggs are so appetizing.

Y'all imagine him in an apron with nothing underneath but boxers and tell me you wouldn't breed that man.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

It would have to be on your own accord because it would take a LOT for him to get over you, he would never be able to forget you. He'd take the last chance he'd have memorizing you, the way you feel under his palm, the way you taste on his lips, the feelings you've ignited, the memories you've gifted him, and so on. Would truly try to make you stay and not leave, placing heated and passionate kisses just like the first time he'd been graced by your lips. Just know you'll receive constant phone calls and messages from him.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He's with you most of the time, and if being married means you'll live together with no restrictions then he's all in. Pulling out the ring soon.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He loves aggressively but can be gentle when he pleases in small gestures on the day to day basis.

His emotions don't differ much from the regular, and on the rare chance that he's not teasing you he won't say a thing. Just sitting next to you and lifting you up to sit on his lap. More because he needs it, holding you when he's softer.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Sneaks up behind you and tickles your sides before hugging you. Sometimes he'll "pounce" on you and hold you tight in his arms, it makes you all giggly and squirming which makes him grin. Likes feeling as if he has you trapped within his arms, that nothing can take you away from him and you're secure with him.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Maybe in a moment when he's lost in ecstasy, in an ardent moment. A feeling that just so happens to be aligned with someone he can be sincere towards, not something everyone has and doesn't happen twice in a lifetime. In short he says it while you're having sex. And he'll keep whispering it against your ear, murmuring it against your skin, breathing it against your lips.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Idk you tell me from this scenario:

He watches from a few paces back as someone talks to you, except he doesn't like their body language towards you. He comes closer to stand behind you, eyeing the other person suspiciously, and just rolling his eyes and sighing exasperatedly. Visibly in a bad mood which usually scares off the other person.

Yeah, he can be quite possessive (not in a toxic way). Let me explain, he likes calling you his but not in an object is mine kind of way, instead you're his for only him to give you that special love of care no one else could give, his to tend to.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

When he has you enveloped in a hug from behind, he'll start placing small kisses on your nape until his lips are barely parting from your skin and he's moved down to your shoulders, keeping his mouth so close as he murmurs into your skin.

Once he captures your mouth in a kiss, it'll be a while before you can catch your breath as your chest heaves. Longing to feel your lips on his as he desperately kisses you that he almost merges with you. Holding you closely, encasing your body against a couch, wall or whatever as he leans over you, breath caressing your lips for a mere moment as his eyes connect with yours. He's observing you with passion burning in his eyes, both of you watching one another trying not to be the first to give in.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He likes children enough to ruffle his friend's kid hair playfully, maybe calm a crying baby at a grocery store, spoiling a niece/nephew or cousin he's babysitting.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Won't let you out of bed until he's kissed you, held you, felt you. So rushed mornings are a no for him, he greatly dislikes them. The type to set the alarm earlier than when he has to get up just to enjoy having you next to him. Knows when you wake up from subtle body signs, a change in your breathing rhythm, feeling as you burrow closer into him, your hands wrapping around his torso seeking that comfort as he relishes in it.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Night is the only time he can unwind and catch up on some much needed rest. Sometimes you joke and call him and old man for his remedies but you end up helping him relieve his back or knee pain, loosen his knotted muscles, or massage him after he's gone hard on a work out.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Maybe when he knows the probability of marriage is around the corner. He starts getting pretty serious because he'll want you to know his faults before your relationship deepens. Things are revealed as you go, he wouldn't drop a bomb on you either.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It's pretty hard for you to actually anger him, most of the time when you're nagging at him he'll just piss you off more by having a smug grin or smirk on his face. Most you'll do is annoy him at which he feels the need to annoy you more when getting back at you. He avoids giving you looks but will always have a bothersome look in his eyes, sighing loud enough to irritate you and giving you smart comebacks to any question you direct at him.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

I'm sorry but I feel like he tends to be forgetful about some things. Like on the first date he makes such a conscious effort to remember which flowers you like best, what food you prefer and such that on the way back home he's repeating these things over and over again so he won't forget.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

This one date that went kinda wrong because the car broke down on a backroad with barely any cars or people to come by. It was late at night too, but you both sat on the hood of the car, gazing at the starry night sky and just talking. The ambience felt so different, there was no logic in the words you exchanged as you talked the night away yet you were on the same wavelength. It was hours before someone passed by and were able to provide transportation but neither of you had taken notice of the time that had passed.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He don't keep up with his workouts for nothing.

Although you have surprised him before by defending yourself, which he commended you for.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

The effort he may not always put into everyday tasks goes into anniversary and dates. Ofc, he tries to but it is forgettable when it's day to day stuff.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He's left behind his gambling habits and tries to keep away from it. Yet, he still resorts to bad coping mechanisms, usually tied to his impulsiveness.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

The average ig. He's neglected his skin before but thanks to the rise in skincare for guys he's got a simple routine that you help him keep up with.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Literally and figuratively. Physically and emotionally.

Cannot run an errand without you, not that he would ever admit it though. Your presence is the only remedy he needs.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

He's into motorcycles. As a teen, instead of his first vehicle being a car it was a motorcycle. He used to spend a lot of time with groups of motorcyclists when he wanted to occupy his mind. After settling down, he remembered his first motorcycle he had to part with when he joined the military and decided to purchase one of the same model to keep beside the newer one in the garage.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Trying to hold him back or tell him to 'slow down' on things he wants to have fun on. Like he needs his adrenaline rush and although his decisions may seem careless he's made sure the consequences aren't too dire. He doesn't see himself getting along with a boring person or a buzzkill.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Will not go to sleep if you're not in bed with him. Don't try to stay up late and tell him to not stay up waiting for you, that's unacceptable to him. He could try but he feels as if he needs something to hold, feels as if his chest is concave from where your head should be resting on right now. He can only get up and cling to you like a toddler except he's bigger than you and now you can't do anything.

there would be an episode where garden prince, ace, and deuce all go to treys house for a sleepover, in an effort for GP to live out all the childhood experiences he never got to have bc of his mother. it is then revealed trey snores like a hibernating grizzly bear and the rest of them are unable to sleep so they stay up all night playing party games.

treys employees seen in the character art are: spike the potted plant, marigold the bird, cay cay the carrot (i wonder who named him), and dan the durian. in one episode dan the durian gets broken open and smells so bad that he drives away customers and trey guiltily puts him on leave until his shell grows back. cue dan storyline where he wanders Ooo searching for a way to mask his stench.

it is revealed at some point that he has an entire armory hidden under his bakery, which he seems embarrassed of.

garden prince at one point coerces him into taking up the position of a knight in service of the garden kingdom. trey considers himself a pacifist (he's not, its just an excuse to not get involved) so he's very reluctant. he spends the entire episode walking around the kingdom looking for knight stuff to do, at the end of which he and GP agree that the garden kingdom doesnt really have any threats and he goes back to his bakery.

people think cater was the one who ended their relationship bc he cant handle commitment but really it was a lot more complicated on both ends. most ppl dont know the full details, including riddle, who is wary of cater bc he thinks he hurt trey. cater and trey remain awkward friends without ever addressing the elephant in the room, lowkey avoiding each other.

has a weird friendship w rook, nobody understands it not even trey. rook stops by at extremely inconvenient times asking for favors. there isnt any obvious reason for the favor (a carton of eggs, a sack of flour, etc) and trey doesnt ask questions. in exchange rook doesnt cause problems for him.

recruited deuce to deliver for him bc he knew deuce was trying to be a better person and felt like having a job would help him. ace also frequently calls him to get them out of trouble, he's like their big brother who has to pay their bail.

his parents are retired and he took over the bakery from them.

at one point he has to visit a neighboring kingdom to get some special ingredients. he doesnt usually travel so needs transportation. cater offers a ride on his skateboard but trey doesnt like heights so ace and deuce let him borrow their caterpillar. entire episode is him not knowing how to direct the caterpillar and it takes him through the woods where he gets beat up by nature and does not get his ingredients.

I genuinely do not think showing a little initiative or concern in Jimin getting harassed by his fans in his name is too much to ask. I know there is absolutely nothing in this world that would pull jjks or tkkrs off of Jimin so it’s not even like I’m requesting JK to parent those people. Why is it that a fifth gen idol just starting out can write a detailed post about his bandmate getting harassed and telling people (their fans included) to back off, but he can’t?

Also I think it’s shitty for the victims of the situation to further put a target on their back by calling out the perpetrators. The way tkkrs still talk about Jennie even with them believing that she isn’t dating Taehyung is still nasty. I can’t imagine what would’ve happen had she basically confirmed the relationship and told them to leave her alone in one fell swoop. Jimin as well. I hope he does continue to ignore tkkrs and tk solos. But those two? If you see your girlfriend and friend getting harassed why stay quiet? Like that shit is just real scary behavior to me. When it came to 1D who were at the same level of fame as BTS, they drew clear boundaries and yes Larries carried on but no one could say they fed into it out of their own selfish gain. That’s my point.

I don’t care about displays of continued friendship like hanging out cause that doesn’t address the actual issue at hand. And even with JK and Jimin going to Japan, tkkrs and his solos still tried to spin it like Jimin was forcing him to go on that trip. You don’t think a clear “Jimin is my friend we respect each other etc.” would work better? Instead of him (and Taehyung) reaping the benefit of shipping and acting clueless to it like the things they do aren’t intentional?

They could at least try to show that they aren’t so self concerned because they have called out people before for various instances including hate. All BTS have because they do see what happens online. I would think he would care more but honestly knowing him he’s oblivious to anything that doesn’t center around himself personally so it probably is pointless, but it shouldn’t be.

Will Solace X Drew Tanaka friendship : they can both bond over almost their entire cabin dying, Will calls out Drew when she gets a bit snippy and helps her calm down, Drew drags Will away from the infirmary when he’s over working himself and they go do skin care together (I also like to think when they were like twelve or something they dated each other for a bit because they thought that’s what boys and girls HAD to do, but then realized they were better off as friends, and stayed as friends)

Nico x Rachel friendship : they both like painting (artist Nico is cannon in my brain and no one can tell me otherwise) they paint stuff together, they bond over the commonality of both having a crush on Percy at one point, Rachel is yet another older sister figure for Nico but she’s more of the older sister who wouldn’t mind blowing something up with him, or getting into danger with him, so just doing stupid shit with him

Bianca x Rachel friendship : they are both crazy, plus sized, girlies, who like women, are opposed to having sex, like to draw, and drastically change their hair when they have a mental breakdown, and no one can tell me otherwise

Bianca X Will X Michal Yew trio : they hung out together all the time before the battle of manhattan, Michal introduced Bianca to rock music, Will introduced Bianca to Alt country, Chappell roan, Conan Gray, and a bit of Taylor swift, and both Michal and little Will taught Bianca that transgender ppl exist since both Michal and Will in my brain are trans-masc

Bianca X Will friendship : they’re the kinda friends where they hang out with each other so much, and are so open with each other to the point where most ppl think they are dating each other. They are not. And whenever someone asks if they are they think it’s the funniest thing ever. They both were parentified from a young age, they both feel the need to give all of them selves and all of their time and all of their resources and energy to others. Have both masked from a young age. Both are just tired. Both are autistic but mask 24/7 and only really peel back the mask when they are around each other(or Those they really really deeply trust)

Bianca X Michal Yew friendship/Situationship : they are besties, both do archery together, both deeply care for one another, and both just click with one another. They just work. They are both curious about how the other experiences the work and both could just talk for hours to each other. Michal was the first trans person Bianca met, and after that secret was shared they talked about everything with each other. Bianca didnt really trust men or guys all that much but (just to be clear, before she knew Michal was trans) she always felt safe around him. She thought she had a crush on Michal, when in reality they were just really good friends, but she didn’t know what love felt like, and she really liked this guy, and girls are supposed to like guys, so might as well give it a shot? They didn’t tell anyone they dated, and their relationship didn’t even really change that much, just had a different label

Lou Ellen x Cecil x Will Solace trio : they are queer besties who get into mayhem with each other and just roast each other, like all the time. Their friendship is just making fun of each other and it’s beautiful. Lou Ellen in my brain is a Demi-romantic Lesbian, and Cecil in my brain is an Aro-Ace little gremlin, that’s just why I stated they are queer besties :)

Kayla x Austin x Will sibling trio : they just are best friends, they are besties that are all a little weird in their own way. Austin likes rocks/geology to a slightly concerning degree and is obsessed with Hamilton. Kayla is pan with a fox fursona and a lot of the time wears furry ears and tails outside of the cabin. And Will (obviously) loves anything sci-fi and (this is my headcannon part) has read all of the twilight books multiple times because they are so bad it’s hilarious. (And no one can tell me otherwise) they also bounce their interests off one another until they are all screaming, dying laughing, on the floor in tears.

Bianca x Kayla x Nico trio : they are all queer, feral, punks who love to annoy the shit out of Will and Austin. Kayla also explained to Nico and Bia what the furry fandom is. Bia and Kayla both practice archery together. Also Kayla convinced Nico to make his own fursona. This dynamic just makes me happy okay. Kayla also accidentally came out to them as trans fem and expected them to be a bit weirded out because 1930’s. But neither of them really cared that much. Bia already knew that trans ppl existed and Nico was very much in the “so… you’re still a girl? Nothings changed? Got it” camp

Bianca x Austin x Nico trio : they talk about nuclear physics, rocks, and dinosaurs with each other. I’m giving no further explanation for that. They also scream musicals together, more specifically Hamilton, they love Hamilton
