episode 2 - love island!harry styles
a/n: im inspired if you couldnt tell. no spoilers! this wont really follow the li universe exactly but if you want more let me know :P LOVE ISLAND USA 2024 CAST BTW
Tumblr media
“hi, could i pull you for a chat?” harry softly taps on y/n’s shoulder, a polite smile on his face.
“oh, yeah, of course!” she picks up her wine glass, pulling the skirt of her dress off of her knees and jumping off the stool, grabbing onto harry’s forearm for support.
“oof, careful there, love.” he warns, eyebrows furrowing concerned as she stumbles.
“im okay, im okay! its just my heels. they’re a bitch on this wood, they get stuck in the cracks.” she giggles, intertwining their arms.
harry supports her, leading her towards soul ties for a chat. they get settled, and he pulls off his backward cap. “so, love, how are you feeling?”
she shrugs. “i mean, a bombshell just took my couple so not that well, but…” she flickers her eyes up at him. “i feel…. i like this. i like you, and.. i wouldn’t mind exploring this if— if that’s what you’d want too?”
“i do! i do, i really do— and… i’m not coupled either, i know you aren’t… maybe if we got lucky?” he responds, turning completely to her, resting a hand on her knee.
she nods, smiling at him and leaning a bit closer. “yeah. maybe if we got lucky.”
“so,” harry takes a sip from his water bottle. “do you have your eyes on anyone else in the villa?”
she shakes her head. “no, i honestly… i couldn’t, at this point. i know you got here to the villa last night, but,” she pauses. “i think you got me.”
harry looks up, cheesing. “yeah?”
“mhmm,” she nods. “you’re.. definitely my first choice. but i know that a few other girls want you too.”
he scoffs, shaking his head. “nah. i got you, babe. swear it. tonight? you got me.”
“yeah? i do?” she murmurs insecurely.
he lifts her chin with his hand. “you got me. i promise.” he places a soft kiss to her cheek before wrapping his arm around his shoulders, bringing her close. “my girl. we’re basically already coupled, don’t lie.”
she giggles. “if that’s what you think, h.”
“wh— y’don’t think that too?!” he squawks, ruffling her hair.
“i do! i do, i promise!” she squeals, pushing his hands away, quickly placing her glass on the floor, coming to attack him back.
“no! no! not the hair!” he giggles, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close. “you’re so pretty.”
she snorts, shaking her head and scooting closer to his chest. “you’re biased. and you’re a liar.”
“me? a liar? never, my love. you’re the most beautiful girl here.” he says simply, pressing another small kiss to her temple. “ready to get recoupled?”
she nods. “ready.”
———
a few hours later, the girls stand in a line in front of the firepit, y/n at the start of the line. ariana calls her out, and she steps forward.
“um, i’m choosing this boy because… he’s really kind, and a really good person, and i think our connection has been really special, um…” she pauses, flicking her eyes to harry who’s already grinning.
“and yeah, i just think that we could make something special if given the opportunity, and i choose…. harry.” she giggles, face flushing at harry pumping his fist in victory, jumping and hooting as all the boys cheer and shout for him.
they meet each other half way, arms held out for each other. he grabs her and pulls her close, mouth leveling with her ear as he whispers, “my girl. see? you got me, and i got you.” before he places a kiss to her cheek, leading her back to his seat.
he pulls her down to sit next to him, wrapping an arm around her as his hand rests on her hip. he places another soft kiss to her hair, getting comfortable with her resting against his side.
she looks up at him and puckers her lips, harry grinning and leaning forward to peck her lips. ariana squeals, and they both flush red at the reminder that they weren’t alone.
“we were destined for this!” he defends, holding her closer possessively.
“yeah man, we know.” kendall says back, crossing his arms and slightly grumbling.
“don’t be sad, kendall!” she grins, leaning closer into harry. the conversation moves on, and the next girl steps forward.
harry leans forward, whispering into her ear. “you look absolutely beautiful, by the way.”
she moves her head to look at him, scrunching her nose and smiling appreciatively. she leans forward and presses a soft kiss to his cheek. “thank you.”
———
Y/N walks in after changing into her pjs and removing her makeup, walking toward her and harry’s bed, harry already under the covers with a book in front of his face. “can i join you?”
harry looks up, grinning widely. “of course, m’girl. come cuddle up, get comfy.”
she hops in, throwing the covers over them, engulfing them in darkness, a sliver of light coming from the barely cracked duvet at their heads. “hi.”
“hi baby, you okay?” harry smiles back, moving a bit closer, their nose now touching.
“so very okay,” she nods. “im really excited for this.”
“i am, too. so excited. wanna cuddle?” he offers, going to pull the covers down.
“wait— wait…” she holds a hand out, and he pauses. “can i… can we kiss for a little? just a little, i don’t wanna be one of those couples, but… just a little?”
“you don’t need to ask, sweet girl. c’mere.” he brings her forward, buttoning his lips with hers. he hums softly at the feeling of her soft lips on his, the taste of her coconut lip balm shooting a thrill of desire up his spine. they kiss slowly, evading the loud noises.
“wait, are Y/N and harry making out under the blankets?” kaylor calls, making them freeze, breaking their lips and cuddling close, knowing someone was going to pull over their covers. and to no one’s surprise, rob’s face shines over Y/N and harry, a smug grin on his face.
“oh, you guys totally were.” harry swats him away, hiding y/n’s face from their view.
“leave us alone!” she squeals, hitting at rob’s thigh.
“okay, okay! jeez lovebirds, my bad.” he smirks, walking back to his bed.
the room quickly quiets down, the lights shutting off as everyone shuffles to get comfortable.
“cuddle?” harry whispers into her ear. she nods, burrowing into his chest.
"I could stay like this with you forever, love," he murmurs, his voice low and affectionate. "just holding you in my arms, feeling your body against mine. It's like the rest of the world disappears and it's just us, together, in our own little world."
“so cheesy.”
“you love it.”
she hums. “yeah. i really do.”

I found out that the police in the USA also killed dogs (Even defenseless ones) because they considered them a threat, fucking USA, Harris fans for supporting genocide, Trump fans who are just as fucked up as the previous one, and the death penalty for an innocent fucking man (Because Americans are so fucked up and don't fight to abolish the death penalty), Plus, supposedly in the USA there is paid health care… The USA is a fucked up country with people who only care about themselves
Fuck the entire USA and people who say they care about Palestine and then they fucking talk about voting for Zionist Harris and watch fucking Disney movies that are fucking boycotted because Disney gave fucking money to Israel
As usual, your own comfort and rights at the expense of other people's lives are more fucking important to you, right?
But what should we expect from people who are descendants of fucking colonizers?
The USA never helped Poland in the fight against the Third Reich, it did the fucking minimum and took all the Poles' success, you did nothing to stop Hitler
Now you do nothing fucking to help Palestine, you pretend to be smart as usual and then wash your hands of yourselves when you are going to do something!
What if someone tells you outright that you're crazy to vote for a Zionist bitch? You'll call him a fucking Russian troll! You have such a high fucking ego!
Stop lying that the US has the best laws when it's a fucking lie! But you are xenophobes who consider all other countries inferior to themselves!
It's fucking time to destroy your ego! Because you guys are fucking dangerous!
Your national identity is fucking colonialism and doing nothing fucking to stop the colonizers!
You didn't stop the fucking Third Reich, and now you're not stopping fucking Israel! The USA is not a paradise, the USA is full of fucked up minds who have egos so big that talking to them is like talking to a fucking wall!
Stop stealing other countries' successes to lie that they're yours!

Robert "I've confirmed myself that I have parasitics brainworms that affect my mental capacity" Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. spreads pro-Donald "Guam isn't America (he wanted to nuke North Korea)" Trump lies to massive appraisal, due to Elon "Billionaire Woke Mind Virus Jewish Question 420" Musk's biased Twitter algorithm:
Tumblr media
In reality,
Harris is QUOTING Trump
DoD Directive 5240.01 is an update to a piece of legislation that has existed since 2007
Biden is not 'giving' 'the Pentagon' power to kill citizens on US soil who 'protest government policies'. This is a complete warping of what is actually the case, that being that US police have always been able to kill citizens (as evidenced by the murder of George Floyd) and call for military support in case of violent riots (as evidenced by all that followed the murder of George Floyd.) Violent riots also does not equal 'protesting government policies'
Him talking about 'inflammatory poison' is of, course, total projection when Harris is quoting Trump while he himself is lying, and it being what 'poisons the nation and inspires assassins' is, too
The Right is suddenly referring to everything Biden does as 'Bidden/Harris', when they never cared about her and before and did not dispute the fact that the Vice President has no power, until Harris announced she was running
Fun fact:
I didn't know about DoD Directive 5240.01 before seeing Mr. Parasitic Brainworms' tweet on it, but already knew he was lying before I looked it up.
Then, I researched the document and found that he is, in fact, lying. The Right's evil is not surprising, but still does not fail to disgust.

Few thoughts on presidential debate with Kamala Harris. From so called eastern European perspective... Where we are unfortunate to have both borders, with Ukraine in War and Putins Russia.
Tumblr media
Last night I watched the presidential debate, where for the first time Kamala Harris appeared against Trump as the official Democratic candidate. To properly assess the behavior and the topics discussed, it's important to understand the American political scene and what is currently stirring public opinion in the U.S. It’s not like the candidates go with the flow, speaking from the heart. Every possibility, every question and answer, is rehearsed dozens of times. PR specialists and spin doctors on both sides are working tirelessly to predict every option, writing the appropriate scenarios and responses, then preparing the candidates not only for the content but also for the form. Yes, even their posture and body language are scripted. If we’re to blame anyone for the low level of the debate, for how everything seems simplified as if the candidates expect that overly complex language or ideas might not only be misunderstood but also disliked by the audience, it’s the public. Unfortunately, despite technological progress and the fact that we now have access to nearly all human knowledge at our fingertips, we are witnessing widespread idiocy. The general public was never particularly sharp, but now they don’t even hide it. In the past, there was an aspiration to improve; now we are expected to accept. Accept the overweight, the unattractive, even the ignorant, so as not to exclude anyone. The consequences can be disastrous, but that’s not the point of this message.
Returning to the debate. I didn’t expect any groundbreaking discoveries or shifts in direction. However, it’s always worth watching how the candidates perform live, under pressure, in the spotlight. I admit, after hearing from Polish media that Kamala Harris can be stiff and doesn’t do well in the media, I was pleasantly surprised. It was Trump who looked as tense as an elastic band in underwear. He spat out words like a machine gun, trying to fit in as many lies, insinuations, and accusations as possible. And he lied like a professional. I must say, he lies even more than the politicians from Poland’s PiS party, who are masters of lying and spinning the truth. Here’s an example. Just as I joined the debate, Kamala, in response to Trump's previous nonsense, stated that as vice president, she had traveled the world and could assure that contrary to Trump's claims, not only is he not respected, but serious leaders laugh at him and consider him a clown, including high-ranking military commanders. The journalist moderating the debate gave Trump "a minute to respond," which he used to announce in his unique, bizarre, pause-filled style, the following (allow me to quote): "I am very serious. So serious, that Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary (and I swear, I’m not imagining it, but he mispronounced the country as ‘Hungry’ instead of ‘Hungary’) is the bravest leader in Europe... *pause* Yes... a great man, a political giant, highly respected throughout Europe. Famous for how effectively he fights Russia. He considers me his friend..." He went on rambling about Hungary’s economic success under Orban’s rule. But I was so floored by these brazen lies that I stopped listening, mentally preparing a comment to debunk these falsehoods. I know it dissolved into thousands of other comments, but you can’t stay silent when such blatant lies are spoken, especially since the average American not only doesn’t know who Orban is, but doesn’t even know where Hungary is, or that Hungary, due to Orban’s actions, is isolated in the European Union, and that this so-called titan of freedom is a populist being boycotted and, in fact, a puppet of Putin. Orban is not only accused of devastating democracy in his country, where he has eradicated media freedom, but also of challenging EU norms that he’s trying to dismantle.
Kamala performed very calmly in the debate. She didn’t get drawn into Trump’s bickering. She waited out many of his lies, some of which were immediately corrected by the moderator, so she could calmly lay out the facts, including her own opinion. She was measured but comfortable. It’s a pity she didn’t spend more time explaining the current economic problems and why Trump’s promises, like slapping tariffs and duties on China overnight to make America great again, are pure nonsense. Her overall tone was restrained, avoiding the kind of conflict where Trump thrives. Trump, on the other hand, was frantic, especially when defending himself against legal troubles and some of his more obvious lies, like winning the last election and inciting the attack on the Capitol and government structures in case of his defeat. Of course, he had a prepared line of defense, but in my opinion, it came off as unconvincing. He was aggressive and agitated, which didn’t work well against Harris’ calm demeanor. That unhealthy energy might have worked against the frail Biden, but alongside Kamala, it didn’t land well.
In summary, this is the first of several usual debates. It will certainly be analyzed, and Trump’s team will try to find a better approach for the next time. I hope the Democrats don’t fall asleep and work hard as well. It’s important to remember that many Trump supporters are a hard, resistant-to-rational-arguments electorate, many of whom consider Kamala a ‘communist’ because, as a Democrat, she wants to introduce public healthcare. And real Americans from the Rust Belt don’t want that stinking European or Canadian invention, preferring to continue being fleeced to the bone (to the point of bankruptcy) by insurance companies. That’s fine with them, as long as they can still buy a gun at the local shop, including an assault rifle, which their maladjusted son will later take to school to show his classmates and teachers what he’s been dreaming of after classes. 144 such cases still don’t convince Americans that easy access to firearms is dangerous. Emotions, especially strong ones, are the only thing that might sway them.
Speaking of emotions, right after the debate, Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris, with her beloved cat visible in the profile photo above her support. Why does this matter? Just like our populist Kaczyński, who claimed that refugees and immigrants spread disease and rape women, Trump announced that refugees in Ohio were eating cats and other pets. Which, after verification by journalists, turned out to be a lie, of course.
Do you think this doesn’t affect us in Poland? You’re wrong. Whoever becomes the president of the U.S. will impact all of us. If Trump, who is on Putin’s leash, wins the election... I honestly don’t know if the Russians manipulated Trump by stroking his ego or if they have some compromising material on him, like a video of him beating and choking of steamy russian porn stars? It wouldn’t be new since he’s done it before, or maybe he choked one too hard? Either way, it’s a fact that Putin is rooting for him. It’s no secret that Trump plans to weaken NATO. Who knows what other nonsense he has in store, but it’s safe to assume that nothing good will come of it for the alliance or our region, including Ukraine.
While searching for the debate, I stumbled across a channel where some Black gentleman was broadcasting his reaction to it, repeatedly clapping for Trump. I find it grotesque that such people of color are ready to vote not for Democrat women who herself represents minority but for a white racist who openly says he considers immigrants especially those to be an inferior kind of human being. And I’ll bet dollars to donuts that he feels the same way about Black people, whom he’d most likely gather into walled-off ghettos and send on the first transport to Liberia.

There is not virtue in getting scammed. There is not virtue in being a mark. You are not displaying your virtuous nature by giving money to someone who is lying to you via emotional appeals so that you will open your heart and bank account to that poor downtrodden Nigerian prince. All you are doing is showing fellow zealots that you are also utterly devoted to The Cause, and showing other ill-intenders that they too can get you to cough up money with the right words.
You are not obligated to #GetScammed4Palestine. Getting scammed is not activism. You are not bettering anyone's lives except for the ill-intending agents who want your money to do something secret and untoward.
You wanna help Palestinians? Donate to real, honest, accredited aid organizations and charities. Ones that did not have employees taking part in the atrocities on October 7th. If you're in the USA, campaign for Kamala Harris as a means of harm reduction toward Palestine. Giving your money to some random person who is in one of the twenty countries that GoFundMe operates in (NOT someone in Palestine!!!) does nothing but cost you money and GUARANTEE that your money does not reach Palestinians in need.
We have our issues with the phrase "virtue signaling," as it's often a condescending right-wing buzzword, but that's what this whole Gaza-scam Zeitgeist honestly is-- taking action first and foremost in furtherance of upholding our standing as a good activist. You feel obligated to circulate, to give to, false crowdfunding operations that empirically, evidently, cannot be for the cause you are supposedly contributing to. You feel that you will be ostracized by your peers if you question these fundraising asks you're getting in your inbox. You'll be a bad activist if you don't do everything you can to help Palestinians-- yes, including possibly sharing a few scams! Sharing just a few scams is a small price to pay for circulating what surely are mostly honest accounts of real need, right? After all, you really think someone would do that? Just go on GoFundMe and tell lies? It's never ever happened on Tumblr before.
Do not give your money to randoms on the internet. You do not know who they are. The people who supposedly "verify" these fundraisers are also random people you do not know. You know that the site they are using to crowdfund does not service people in Palestine. The only evidence you do have around this whole thing is evidence that these GoFundMe's are lying to get your money. Believe the evidence and stop giving in to (what seems to you as well-intended) peer pressure from your activist friends.
If anyone takes issue with you wanting to know where your money is going, then they are showing that they want you to be taken advantage of. They want you to listen blindly! Sight-unseen! Listen to your self-preservation instincts, take notice of the red flags in front of you, and prioritize your own well-being. Drop manipulative people from your life.
Your principles are being used against you for no benefit to Palestinians, and you are in a cult. You have to start taking care of yourselves and stop endlessly sacrificing yourselves for no real value in the name of a cause that you are not benefiting.

Interesting bit from this lawyer saying something is coming soon. Additionally he claims that the Twitter/X account 'Clodagh Dunne/ClodaghSnarks' is another of Harry's secret media accounts. It's really weird as the account just reposts birds but their replies are always nasty pro unSussexful...

Former Trump official warns ex-president is gearing up to claim 'rigged' election again
Donald Trump and his allies are preparing to make claims of election and voter fraud if he loses in November - according to election experts and a number of old-school Republicans.
Mesa, Arizona Mayor John Giles, a Republican who has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, said that if Trump loses, he and his associates “will throw everything at the wall and see what sticks,” according to The Guardian.
“They’ll claim everything went wrong if they lose. I’d be surprised if Trump doesn’t try to incite insurrection if he loses the election,” the mayor said.
Both Trump and his allies are pushing the same lies as they did in 2020 about voting machines and drop boxes, but they’re now also attacking prosecutors on the state and federal levels who have charged the former president for trying to overturn the election. They have claimed that the charges against Trump amount to “election interference” and “lawfare” in attempts to paint the former president’s legal woes as political prosecution.
David Becker at the Center for Election Innovation and Research told The Guardian that  “A lot of false claims are masquerading as efforts to change policy to improve election integrity when in actuality they’re just designed to sow distrust in our system if Trump loses.”
“This is all designed to manufacture claims that if Trump loses, the election was stolen and to sow discord, chaos, and potential violence,” he added.
The right-wing organization Turning Point USA claims to be spending tens of millions on getting out the vote for Trump in important battleground states, also hosting several large rallies where false allegations that the 2020 election was rigged are still being shared.
Both in 2016 and 2020, Trump was unclear if he would accept the election results. Similarly, at the presidential debate with President Joe Biden on June 27, he said that he would accept the results if the election is “fair and legal.” That response came after he was asked three times about accepting the results and shortly afterward he yet again claimed that American elections are fraudulent.
In April, Trump hosted House Speaker Mike Johnson at Mar-a-Lago for an event prompting the lower chamber to pass legislation making it illegal for noncitizens to vote – something that was already outlawed and in the past has happened on a very small scale.
The group True the Vote sent out a fundraising request in March pointing to their attempts to put together “arguments for litigation” as well as other measures to take aim at what they claim will be “chaos” around the election because of “illegal voter registrations.”
Both election experts and Republican stalwarts have told The Guardian that Trump and his allies are preparing to claim that November’s election has been rigged if the former president loses the election.
Former Republican Michigan Representative Dave Trott told the paper that “Trump continues to encourage his supporters like Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA to question the integrity of our elections.”
“He has no evidence or basis for claiming fraud and is only perpetuating these lies so he has a plan B to disrupt democracy in the event he loses,” he added.
Former Republican Pennsylvania Representative Charlie Dent told The Guardian that he believes Trump will claim fraud again if he loses in November.
“I expect he will do the same thing in 2024,” he said. “If he loses he will raise Cain in state capitals and he will descend on state capitals with his allies to make the case for fraud.”
