Prince William and Princess Kate are planning to move into their "forever home" later this year.

The Prince and Princess of Wales will be moving into Forest Lodge, located in Windsor, by the end of the year - but the pair have lived in six other homes throughout their time together. The couple, who met in the early 2000s, have lived in various places across the UK - and are now based in Windsor with their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven-year-old Prince Louis.

Hoping that their next home will be their "forever home", it will likely be the place their children will see in their teenage years and beyond. As well as this, it has been reported that the family will remain living at Forest Lodge even when Prince William is on the throne. Here, the Express looks at the seven homes that Kate and William have lived so far, as well as their future home.

Tam-Na-Ghar

When Kate and William visit the Balmoral, they stay at the modest three-bedroom Tam-Na-Ghar - although they don't own it themselves. The property is nestled in the grounds on the 5,000-acre estate, and was gifted to William by his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, before her death in 2002. It is located near to Birkhall, which is loved by the King, and is said to be surrounded by lush greenery.(Image: GETTY)

Anmer Hall

Anmer Hall is located on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The 10-bedroom home serves as the country home for William, Kate and their children. The property is manor house with features like a swimming pool and tennis court. The family are known to spend a lot of time at the property, especially during school holidays. It was a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth II to William and Kate, and, following renovations in 2013 and 2014, is said to have been worth around £1.5 million.(Image: GETTY)

Adelaide Cottage

The family-of-five moved to Windsor in late 2022. Adelaide Cottage, the current residence of the Prince and Princess of Wales, is a grace-and-favour property leased from the Crown Estate. The four-bedroom property's value is estimated at around £5.5 million. Bodorgan Hall

Prince William and Princess Kate lived on Anglesey until 2013, leaving just a few weeks after George was born in July 2013. Bodorgan Hall, where they first ever lived together, is a beautiful, white-stoned farmhouse just outside the village of Bodorgan. Speaking at the time of his and Kate’s experience on Anglesey, Prince William said: “This island has been our first home together, and it will always be an immensely special place for us both. Catherine and I look forward to returning again and again over the coming years with our family. Nottingham Cottage, affectionately known as "Nott Cott", is a two-bedroom residence in the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. It is a grace-and-favour property, meaning it's owned by the Crown Estate and granted to members of the Royal Family. Kate and William lived in the home for three years between 2011 and 2013. I agree with her but I don't think it's about 'weird'. It's about lovely and eclectic, not the standard and often seen matchy-matchy sets. I like when someone's home has interesting things that tell me about them, their interests, their travels, etc. I'm uncomfortable when it looks like a bland no personality model house with all the coordinating accessories purchased from some big box store...
