I've been delaying art stuff cuz of rl matters but honestly Umika and Yu's relationship is seriously so romantic and I can't stop thinking about it lol

The way they admire each other so much and are so fond of each other (Yu especially is incredibly affectionate but then again, that's kinda just how she is).

But like. Imagine wanting to make a high school debut or something but being really nervous and then the exact thing (alien) you've been yearning for just bursts into your life. Yu is like legit Umika's "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" and it's so wild lmaooooo

Even if it turns out Yu was granted by Umika's wish or something, Yu is still a distinct person on her own and she's such a delight-- I love her so much. Anyway, they're so good and cute and I honestly can't ship them with anyone else, personally.

One thing I really like, for example, is when (ANIME SPOILER) Umika rejects Yu's attempt at foreheadelepathy that one time in the anime (END ANIME SPOILER), Yu doesn't take it personally or build resentment or get angry at her or anything. Instead, the next time she tries to do it, she realizes she should ask for permission first and just gets bashful.

Yu in particular is just so kind, sweet, and gentle with Umika and that's exactly what Umika needs imo. Some people need harsher words but other people need good foundations and support systems to be more brave.

Umika herself is incredibly kind and considerate and adorable and an angel and she never did anything wrong. I just think Yu and Umika totally deserve each other and regardless of how the audience feels about romance (I think it's awesome), the only thing they're really "missing" is just an exclusive declaration to each other lolol

If Sensei ever confirms it, I hope she'll do a Yuri on Ice "kiss scene" if anything at all. No idea if Sensei wants this too but if it ever happens, I'll be soooo hyped lol. At the moment, not expecting too much though even though the show is marketed as a yuri. xD

I have a gift for y'all today !!! 😊 Ever wanted to find a line in Re:Kinder in a single place for the sake of reference?? How about multiple chunks of lines. how about all the little variations that arise in the text with it's many endings, item descriptions, text that comes from interacting with the enviroment, and character info from the menu without having to boot up the game and go through it at long minutes!!???

well i sure did😊 Since I do a lot of fanart and think up my own silly theories and thoughts that need me to reference the game lines a lot, i have made a transcript for it for convenience's sake. A weirdly thorough transcript handwritten and proofread by me including all character lines available in-game. And I'm sharing it with you all today for anyone that wants it !!! :3 To use as a reference for creative fanworks or a quick search for a line in-game, whatever you wish to use it for!!

It uses the english translation of the game by vgperson. So naturally all credit for the game lines available in here is to her and Parun who made the game.

I did my best to organize it in a way easy to digest. Do note that I'm still human, and there's still the chance for mistake in it no matter how much I've proofread it, since I'm not even an english native speaker ^^. But I hope it serves you well nonetheless if you wish to use it.

That's my gift for today!!! Not the usual art, but still a project I'm proud of. Enjoy!!! 😊

AND IT IS JAJSJSJSJSJS #but thats personal preference all in all #and im used to using transcripts for fanworks coming from earthbound. like there's one for the main game dialogue online and i love it a lot #for this game to not have any felt like some sort of crime considering how cool the story and the lines it has are #its also plenty useful for a game you're writing the spanish wiki for #yes i am doing that apparently my hobby became community work since i got into this game #gotta put that free time before turning 18 and getting a job onto something why not make resources just because i can #anyway fun fact while proofreading i noticed that everytime yuuichi was on scene there was a typo because i got too excited or emotional #either i was laughing because of how evil he is or i was getting unreasonably angry at the treatment he recieved in the past #in section 9 which is true end confrontation i was doing mistakes left and right until the fabled princess line scene #there i was bawling like a baby but THE ERRORS STOPPED ABRUPTLY LIKE I WAS FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE ALL UNTIL THE SCENE ENDED #THEN THERE WERE A BUTLOAD OF MISTAKES ITS INCREDIBLY FUNNY😭 i was fighting for my life holding in all those typos because i couldnt see #so this transcript was made with a lot of emotion laugh and tears and now you know #now i can get bagk to drawing this is the thing i mentioned i was doing fot a while #content feeding schedule crazy rn

Winx au sketches

Wanted to bring the winx au art back so I started sketching and got ideas to tweak some of the Enchantix designs a little bit (basically everyone but Alexis hers was already perfect imo lolol)

Clearly, these were really just for me to draw their hair and wings, hence hardly drawing any actual body for them lolol

I braided Blair's hair at the ends, reworked Mindy's ponytail and changed her accessories slightly, and Jas got the most reshaped wings because I didn't like the way I had them originally but wanted to keep the design semi-intact and gave her the little buns on top to do up her hair a little more lol

I wanna redraw them fully and see if I come up with any tweaks for their actual outfits (again except Alexis but I can't bring myself to leave her out when I draw this stuff lolol) and just to draw the other 3 girls again because it's been a long time.

#my 14 year old self is crying tears of joy rn #I was able to recover videos of a yt channel that I used to follow as a teen but was closed by the owner from one day to the other #for *years* I thought I'd never see them again (aside very few scattered reuploads)#granted my interests changed and I was occupied with other things #but every once in a while I was wishing I could just watch at least my nr 1 favourite video of them just one more time #but NOW I found out that someone salvaged basically the entire channel and just - put the videos up for downloading?!#it feels so unreal because after all this time I can just watch them again? as often as I want?! and they're mine to keep forever?!! ahhhh #I'm getting unreasonably emotional over this but that channel genuinely meant a lot to me at the time #I still remember that I was on the school bus home when I discovered it was gone #and I swear if I hadn't been in a public setting I'd legit have cried over it. it certainly ruined an otherwise really nice day for me #granted my 14y/o self probably had a bit of a dumb sense of humour (harmless. but dumb. what do you expect from a 14y/o?)#(hence I'm also hesitant to mention the channel name bc I'm not sure if I'm ready to potentially embarrass myself)#but I still feel an odd fondness looking back because I know how much those videos meant to her <3 #especially my one favourite video which 1. was the sole reason I discovered one of my favourite tv shows ever #and 2. was probably the spark that really ignited my initial interest in animation and digital arts #bc for the first time I consciously realised that you can actually do cool and fun stuff even as just one single person #and that you don't need an entire animation team to just - express yourself creatively and bring your ideas to life #like I'm not even joking when I say if it wasn't for that channel I might have ended up in an entirely different education/career path #anyway I'm happy. but I'll stop now. oh gods I'm abusing the tags again instead of just writing all that *into* the actual post #internet archive #personal #selnia talks
