It's a bit funny that to parts of my circles I'm 'the fandom one'/'the fanfic one'/'the shipping one' as the person they know most prominently into such things

because as much as i love writing my fics and shipping my ships my interest in both of those things is, I think, very narrow and specific compared to most people who are into them? due to my habits being like. very particular

Sengen is so weird to me cause when I get into a fandom I tend to gravitate to ships that have certain tropes: enemies to lovers, rivals, sun/moon, best friends to lovers, soulmates and so on.

But Sengen isn't any of that? Like don't get me wrong i do love other ships in fandoms that don't follow tropes but for a main ship in the fandom its so normal? (Weird bc literally nothing about them is normal) They like eachother because they do. That's it. They just enjoy being in eachothers company. No 'the universe put them together' kind of stuff, no its because they just want to.

There's something so simple about that, that I just love. They dont follow a trope or pattern or anything. They are just themselves, and it's because they are themselves that they are together. No fate, no destiny just two people choosing to be together. They don't have the whole 'Soulmates in every universe' thing, they just choose eachother.

And that makes it hit so much more than any other ship in any other fandom I'm in.

Like, you made me realize so many things on why Sengen is so cool, amazing and things (I literally cannot put my feelings into words wtf)

Like, they are so similar and different at the same time, they both hide their feelings behind a marks carefully crafted by them and how they both would immediately see behind eachothers mask.

I'm literally not okay that ending/sequel is so Senkaku coded, I mean cool ship but I really don't see chemistry behind them, but ignore that.

And, and, I don't see enough people taking about it but only Senku and Gen (and Byakuya) have dual coloured hair.

I think they are soulmates but because it's a Shounen jump they were afraid of the gays.

i understand not being able to put feelings into words because same i have so many thoughts on sengen in my drafts but it's so hard to make it all... proper-y

and one of the things is the dual coloured hair thingy!! i've noticed that and it's just sitting in my notes here like:

they are complete opposites and yet so similar. they match each other's freak so badly it gets on my nerves and everyone else's. like there's so many little things about sengen that one can elaborate about, which makes me think inagaki-sensei put a lot of thought into their dynamic?

for example, shoes. gen goes from barefoot (representing tsukasa's side, as tsukasa is also barefoot. minami, tsukasa's #1 fan is also barefoot) to wearing matching shoes with senku for winter (as far as i'm aware, only taiju and yuzuriha, senku's best friends, share the same shoe style, so it can be inferred that senku made the shoes for gen. although, nikki's is similar but slightly different too) to going barefoot again after winter, then finally officially wearing the senku shoes post treasure island arc. shoes/outfits/designs really say A LOT about the characters in dr stone imo and we need to talk about it more (boichi clearly puts a lot of story details into the design!) like the villagers wearing the same shoes/colour etc... oh i could go on and on.

so yeah definitely– senku, byakuya and gen being the only characters with dual coloured hair is something to discuss! i feel like gen is highly involved in the top best byakuya story lore moments honestly but that might just be me and my sengen goggles on idk lol

as for the extra chapters, i honestly just kinda ignore the senhaku in it?? LMAO like they made it easy to ignore since the scenes were just a few pages and not really continual. that being said, i don't mind senhaku and i think it's a decent ship which would be fun if explored romantically, but yeah i personally see them as like... cousins or something. not only senku and kohaku tbh, but senku and all the villagers are in some sort of relative-y relationship in my eyes because it's hard to remember that senku and byakuya are not biologically related when they look like carbon copies of each other lbr

This has been on my mind since I saw a post of a RaphLeo fan child find out her parents are siblings, but how did the bale children react to their parents being siblings if they didn't already know?

Theyve always known, it was no secret, though the Bale heavily encouraged them *not* to follow in their footsteps on that front.

See as this is fiction I really dont think it matters if you ship or have a kink for whatever right? Its no different than having a "Daddy" kink or a Cnc kink or another thing that would be unhealthy if taken at face value, but is innocuous in roleplay or fiction.

*But* since Im trying to make an ongoing narrative and not just isolated porn (totally valid to do) , I wanted to think through the "justification" the boys had for their relationship and how that would translate to the next gen.

And what I think I landed on was, not that they werent brothers, but that their creation was more akin to cloning that traditional blood. So its more like theyre four different variations of Lou jitsu with different mutations, than his children, if that makes sense?

What this meant when it came time for Donnie to see if it was "safe" for them to have children, is that they were more compatible and less likely to create genetic mutations than if they were *siblings* siblings.

That doesnt change the taboo nature of their relationship but that was more a product of their isolation growing up. When you only have each other as it were.

This is not the case at all for the kids. They all make great efforts to raise the kids in both human and yokai society, and give them healthy socialization. On top of that, the "clone" genetic loophole no longer applies now that they were conceived naturally.

So while they never hid anything, they have also been subtly pushing the kids to make friends outside the house and not develop the codependency the had bale in their youth.

Donnie also has a sterilization back up plan if any of the kids ended up together as a worse case scenario. (It wont happen)

But yeah the Bale isn't traditionally "healthy" but they're a special case. And the kids don't really have an opinion on it you know? That just they're parents simple as that.

first of all i am /Not/ proship. i am not anti-anti or whatever either. what drives me to ship them is the fact theyre friends who like to be in each other's company. i like their sweet moments together. they bond over scamming an innocent population and bullying children. they're partners in crime. theyre besties who talk shit about others as a hobby.

i also don't think theyre already dating. i look at their relationship and im like. you guys have some kind of weird crush on each other and you're also selfish assholes. they're in the world's worst situationship.

"but dedede whacks escargoon a lot!" not only does escargoon get physical towards him too (the dynamic starts shifting in the dentist episode) but his "punishments" are often for a reason. escargoon is often very mean to dedede. in almost every episode he calls him hopeless or stupid or ugly or anything like that. and that gets him a whack. if i were dedede i'd do that too! it'd piss me off! having my lackey who i pay and who i consider my best friend insult me so overtly over and over LOL. but does escargoon ever try and stop him his evil doing? hell no! the guy helps him and gives him advice and ideas! he is NOT a good guy either. he loves being mean! he literally says it!

of course escargoon cares a loy about him. pretty sure everyone is aware. i don't even need to compile all the times he runs after him or worries about his well being. one time he "left" after he realised he'd have to do all the waddle dee's chores and didn't want to do his job. guess who's shown tearing up when seeing what poor state dedede is in after being left all on his own. he's always protecting him and defending him (sometimes backhandedly) from other people. he holds dedede dear. it's obvious he does. he's an old man, he's not being manipulated into liking dedede. he genuinely cares about the guy.

there are episodes where they bicker a lot but end up getting along, episodes where they're the best of friends and episodes focused on their resentment against one another. the show kind of yoyos with their relationship. it's not really anything to take seriously. if you get offended from their interactions you'd get a heart attack from watching looney tunes. the back and forth of their dynamic is part of the fun!

I *highly* recommend watching the original version of the show as the dub often replaces sweet lines they share with jokes that don't really hit the mark. it's a shame. (however i will give the dub some credit on occasion)

Actually, i have a [post] that compiles a lot of sweet screenshots of them together. it doesnt include the times where they hold on to each other in the cannons or in the whispy woods episode or when esxargoon said "isnt this strange? can't you feel we're striving apart?" and dedede says "what! that's ridiculous!" in a lighthearted voice. or when escargoon makes a joke about a late night drive being romantic and dedede just? laughs in agreement? there's a scene where they call each other stupid in the most friendly way ever. i actually have a handy twitter of fun scenes where escargoon gets away with some things (doesn't include when escargoon yells at him in the fireworks episode or orders him in episode 69), like saying *he's* actually the one in power because dedede isn't competent enough to reign. or dedede understanding escargoon's concerns of him becoming dumber than he is already.

they're just villains who are attached to each other and are a team no matter what.

escargoon protects dedede a lot, and he cares about him more than what his job entails, but people tend to forget he's got a special place in dedede's heart too.

dedede keeps an album of pictures they took together. he never threatens to fire him and, as far as i know, never even cuts his salary and is the only one in the castle to even have a bonus. he shares the food he keeps from the waddle dees with him in episode 93. he clarifies he doesnt want knuckle joe's monsters to attack either of them. he's fine spending large amounts of money on him. twice? he never calls him ugly somehow. he even thanks him for having put up with him for so long and serving him well when the world is about to end. and then he clings unto him because he's scared of dying alone. his way of showing affection is not the "im crying because i think you're in danger" type of way that escargoon shows a lot but it's there.

Of course i don't think they're perfect gay rep. that's literally so stupid. you think im gonna look at two dumbasses who are bitter towards one another from what, a parodic, satirical children's anime from the early 2000s, and go "hmm yes this is what every queer couple should aspire to be this is peak lgbt rep"

If we're gonna talk about them how about we talk about some issues this show has that no one ever addresses. the colorism of the uv episode that is not put into question, not even by tiff, the moral compass. the rising sun imagery that is very much intentional as dedede is a caricature. the fatphobia? the fact kirby calls kawasaki and nagoya homos??? straight up???

people often blame episode 88, and yeah, it's not my favorite episode either. everyone's weird in that episode, not just dedede! yabui is far from empathetic, even the ebrums are disrespectful, and escargoon taunts dedede into chasing him for laughs and teases him about his old age. even at the end he teases him. i think it's one of those episodes that you just have to blame on the writers kinda like 89 (for example this one has got the right message but the execution is painful to watch. poor tiff.)

now, if 88 had changed their relationship it'd be a different matter. there are some sweet moments they share outside of their general "partners in crime" dynamic past episode 88 in my post actually! my favorite is the one where dedede has his arm around escargoon who's curled up like a cat while they're sleeping and the waddle dees are tucking them in from episode 91. it makes me so happy.

i could probably talk so, so much more about them. they're a huge comfort to me. however i don't trust just anyone with them. i am very much aware some people like them for the wrong reasons. but if you have a brain you can see where i'm coming from.

the show makes fun of them because they're evil, self-centered cowards. not because they're "gay" or anything like that. i saw someone call them queerbait one time and i had to log off for a minute.

anyway, to answer your question, people who do not recognize their genuine attachment to one another are bound to have a twisted view of them. i don't like dedegoon because they're "toxic" or awful to each other. but because they're each other's best friends. that's all. it's fine if you don't ship them, too. i just hope i can prove to people that they do matter to each other and that they're friends :)

Ok so firstly going with that plaguing ask Rye sent me, sadly Kaiser and I both do. Like a normal person, among the photos of various others I keep one of his extra id photos in my wallet. Kaiser being the awful freak he is, is rather fond of snapping a photo at intimate moments or while I am eating something (or making a funny face). In regards to the former, after expressing my distaste in being photographed in such a way especially when full body, I am uncomfortable about those being saved in cloud / digital data forever. (His solution to this is switching to Polaroids…….)

But in general, I keep photos of all my beloveds in my wallets and phone. Anaxagoras carries a photo of me and a lock of my hair in a locket I got him and likes to play with it mindlessly during his days ^_^

Unlabeled but will change in the future for sure. Togame Jo — dating, might change in the future. We already act like an old married couple so only the legal status would change Anaxagoras — unlabeled but practically dating. How things will progress is STC for canon compliant. In the modern au we already planned a marriage of convenience but started dating before that could take place. Narumi Gen -- dating, subject to change (due to work and everything. it possible with him a "right person wrong timeline" occurance imo) not all of them are selfships (denial is a river in egypt...) but for Caleb, Rafayel, Bachira and Kaiser, it doesnt matter the state of things- in their mind you were and always will be married, eternally bound and that's it (each have their unique approach to this though which sets them apart.)

In one AU, he just psychoanalyses me upon first interaction. It's an Obey Me AU, and Nebu is a demon here, watching me in class and upon a wedding event, he wants a shot to be the groom that models next to me, so when they tell him auditions are right this moment, he steals me away from the brothers to go to a quieter place to talk about the previous proposals and how my feelings are written on my face and I need someone that can promise to stay by my side no matter what, no fancy proposal if the right words can be said.

Okay so wedding event, But mc is feeling a bit numb, And while she acknowledges that all the proposals are indeed unique and including the brothers personalities, It doesnt speak to her, When Luci has just finished his proposal and it's almost time for mc to choose, Nebu comes storming in, panting from running all the way to the castle, And he starts reprimanding and yelling at little D because there are so many demons in the school that would love to stand beside mc and only giving the brothers a shot is discriminating against all the others, Saying that he wants a shot too and asking when the auditions are and being surprised because they are right now, Grabbing mcs hand asking to steal them away for a bit and running through the castle until they hide somewhere, Mc suggested places they knew in the castle with a romantic atmosphere but nebu said it would be more fun to just go with the flow, Just talking a bit about the brothers proposals, And nebu admitting to watching her in class and saying her emotions are written on her face and it's easy to see how she is fearful of it and acknowledging those fears and promising to stay by her side, And it's the one proposal that truly touches her, So she ends up apologising to the brothers and chooses nebu as her groom for the shoot, She needs to ask his name too because it's their first meeting, He had his demonic powers sealed a couple years ago because he couldn't control them well, He had a little crush on her ever since she came to the devildom but never dared to approach her

It's hard to imagine him making any mistakes, but he's probably research things wrongly and end up with different results each time, or remember something wrong. His funniest mistakes happen when he's researching magic and putting his research into practice. He uses magic on the most unconventional ways and ends up without clothes on multiple occasions. Explosions do that to you, nowadays it's just normal.

Turmoil has engulfed the planet of Mandalore! The NEW MANDALORIANS, the recognized leaders of the planet by the Galactic Republic, have requested aid. The Senate has voted to send a team of Jedi to protect the New Mandalorians from the terrorists that live on the planet, the dreaded DEATH WATCH.

After his Jedi Master Dell Conagher is sent with a team of fellow Jedi to the planet Mandalore to resolve tensions brewing on planet that could lead to an all-out CIVIL WAR, Senior Padawan Jeremy, also known as SCOUT, resolves to sneak on board the ship and follow his master.

However, Mandalore is a notoriously dangerous planet, as its inhabitants are a warrior people with long-time grudges against the JEDI....

Shes ready, Molly's ready to close her eyes and find her missing family members and wait for the others.

Post Second Wizarding War: Kiss for the camera (Harry/George) Summary: Harry is going to his first Quidditch game with Teddy. Maybe he will come home with more then good memories of the finale. Two Orphans And A Widow Can A Family Make (Gen fic, Andromeda-centric) Summary: Andromeda has buried most of her family, all she has left is a sad lonely teenager and an orphaned infant.

But Andromeda is a Black through and through, regardles sof her last name, and Black's never give up, they never surrender and she is one of the two only Black's left alive. She will not give up whilst she is needed, and she is oh so needed by these boys. We won, but at what cost? (Molly Weasley-centric) Summary:Molly looks at her empty table, a table that should have been full with all 7 of her children (8 with Harry) but now it's empty. She has lost Fred to death, but she had lost her other children to the ravages of grief.

So she sits at her empty table as she thinks about what they lost and wonders if it was worth it. If her boy was the price worth paying for "peace." "Where did you go Wally?" ( Past Walburga/Euphemia)

Summary: Walbuga Black drove her heir away, now she watches as he laughs his way onto the Hogwarts Express. She watches as it takes her heir and spare somewhere safe.

Whilst she watches, SHE comes along, and angel or a demon, it doesnt matter because she is a better witch, a better woman and a better mother then Walburga has ever been, has ever been allowed to be. Women always suffer with the History of Men (Narcissa/Lucius Malfoy) Summary: Narcissa is on trial after the Battle Of Hogwarts. She will do anyhting to save her Dragon, including tell the truth. The honest, bitter truth that she and her foremothers have endured. For women always suffer at the hands of men. It is their history and at their hands that Narcissa has suffered by. No longer.
