The first drawing I posted to this blog was of Touka, and now that Exedra has been out for a while and I worked really hard to obtain 2/3 of my favorite trio, I might go back to posting Magireco stuff. No idea if that game (Exedra) will EOS in a year or less but my love for old stuff never disappears completely; it just gets buried/hibernates.

I just wanna draw/make art about and of cute girls, so I don't wanna torpedo this blog after only like a year or two. I might post art to this place again but probably without tags or anything. If I do, I'll make a new pinned post that's a really simple X/O list of what I am and am not ok with. I want this blog to be an archive of my art/fandom stuff as intended, and I want to still keep it a safe space for me, according to my own values, ideals, likes, etc.

Ultimately I miss what I loved and I keep coming back to it over and over and even though I don't have high expectations, I still want to make art. I just move on from thing to thing until I can finally settle lol

Originally I was going to do something for Negidrill day (6/16) since it's such a special day, most likely upload a fanfic that's at least 10k words long that's been sitting in my head for literal months now, but I've changed my mind.

My anger at fans' entitlement and treatment of creators has boiled over. I most likely won't ever post any art or anything to this blog again, so feel free to unfollow since it'll be inactive.

I won't delete everything since I still believe strongly in archives, but I'm probably not gonna update any of my fanfics anymore either. I'll still write them most likely 'cuz I still love Mktt but I won't upload them, most likely. Just letting people know so they know not to expect anything in the future.

I'll probably still write the continuation of the Song Series cuz just cuz I won't upload it doesn't mean I'm dropping it, and I'll probably share it with only one (or two) people since they aren't the reason for my anger and they were nice to me. I feel bad for my very very small Chinese audience but I may find a workaround.

If someone asks me very nicely and isn't a jerk, then I may let you see my stuff, but I'm officially gatekeeping from the public now since they disrespect creators so much, including stealing people's work for AI. I don't really want to grant people opportunities to abuse my trust though so that's only a big IF. I might add a password or something but there's no need to go that far since my audience isn't that big anyway, so that's only if people don't piss me off. Idk how permanent this decision is but I'm sticking to it for a very long time.

Happy birthday to Teto!! I bought her a cake 'cuz of course I had to celebrate her birthday 🥰 The ice cream is shaped like her drill (hairstyle)! 😋😂 I was picking from what they had available and this is my rationale. ^^

It's too personal to talk about why I love Teto, but all I'll say is I first became acquainted with her when I became acquainted with Vocaloid, through Miku. Just like the way my own birthday cake was Chibi Miku-san, I loved seeing Chibi Miku's shenanigans with Chibi Teto, Chibi Neru, and so on. I always loved slice of life stories and I adored the effort put into releasing so many comics. Chibi Teto was pure and innocent but was super good at games, and Chibi Miku would have funny reactions to imagining stuff with her drills. 😂😂😂 (Like Miku needing to go to the dentist and Chibi Teto is the dentist or something and uses her drills, her hair, for a cavity or something xD)

It was unfortunate that Chibi Teto was allergic to puppies/animals, but rabbits are apparently fine for Chibi Teto, which is great news! xD I didn't even remember whether it was a rabbit or not, but I only brought that up 'cuz I viewed this Chibi Miku comic very recently, which surprised me. I was reading them like 10 years ago on my favorite cardboard website, haha. xD

Before I get on a huge tangent about that series, all I mainly want to say is I met Teto when I was 12-13 years old, and thanks to SV Teto popping up in my YouTube recs, we are reunited again!! I didn't have any of the plushies you see above until this year, but that's because I fell back in love with Teto very authentically and soon went on a plushie craze lmfaoooo

For Neru's birthday I made a drawing and for Miku's I had a cake and updated my fic (a couple days late). For Teto, however, I'm late with this upload cuz I was too busy going nuts over the Pokemikuteto collab, and now I have to be productive cuz I told myself I wouldn't let myself update my fic until I am. 😂😂😂😂 (Naturally the most human thing to do is procrastinate so ofc it's like this now....)

Funnily enough, I bought a tablet the day before Teto's bday cuz I thought it was a steal, price-wise, so here's a picture of my screen and a little bit of what I'm working on when I can. xD (Yes, it's Triple once more. It leans towards Neru x Teto cuz I'm trying to draw more Pink Teto now!) ^^ I will keep working on it seriously so dw, I am not jinxing myself and showing you another one of my 2 million WIPs. xD Everything Pink Teto, I am taking very very seriously actually. xD

I didn't buy a cake on Neru's bday cuz I can't spend that much all the time, but I definitely wanted to celebrate the character who brought me back to Miku and who I ship very ardently with Miku too lol.

Updates will be slow cuz I'm not a corporation/business and my moods fluctuate, but I just wanted to say that I AM working on stuff for Teto 'cuz I love her a lot~. I hope to draw more Pink Teto and maybe even share my headcanons, provided the fandom is not too hostile for me to do so. 😂

This was a short thing I drew at work (~1 hour at most) so that's why there's text everywhere. Wasn't gonna upload it but Neru came out cute so I'll show her off lol. I do like the idea of digitalizing it (I turn uber perfectionistic tho sadly) but I'll stay at work for the rest of the day so I'll just upload the traditional here and not tag it so no one ever finds it. xD

I first fell in love with Neru 'cuz she was the tsundere archetype, and I like that archetype a lot. Meanwhile, the Teto I grew up with (Pink Teto) was always a sweetheart and wasn't tsundere at all despite her official profile lol.

When I watch videos about the Christmas lights, I enjoy it a lot more when I imagine Neru and Teto are the ones seeing them. I grew up with them and I wanted to draw them, so I drew them. (In the absence of Miku, someone else rises up to play her role of being the cheerful one and it's Teto lol.)

I can't tell if I ship them romantically. I like them as a duo but Pink Teto might be utterly indifferent to romance, idk. She's sweet but she's sweet to everyone. I won't rule the idea out though. Yuri ftw now and forever lmao.

Neru took me like 2 hours. I was out of practice and when I had to do the legs (the very first thing you do), I immediately got confused like, "Wait, isn't this too big??" so I had to revisit the tutorial to figure it out again lmao.

I wanted to finally do Neru for fun, so my favorite Triple Baka squad is now complete. Then I realized I could make them this blog's header, so I did a small photoshoot lol. It's not perfect in the slightest but that's what makes them so fitting. xD 🥰🥰

I saw someone filled out a Vocaloid shipping chart and I wanted to do it too. Nabbed this off of Google: the source is here.

I actually kinda like Neru x Teto but specifically airheaded/dere Teto x Neru (Triple Baka versions of them). More on that under the cut.

I decided not to put in any "dislike" or "hate" lines because I don't actually hate any ships strongly-- they just don't interest me, never crossed my mind, or I just don't think about them at all. (And I'd rather be known for what I like than what I hate.) Certain ships are popular that I arguably "dislike" but rather than disliking it for the characters/dynamics, it's more like I don't agree about my current faves being overlooked for this other ship, if that makes sense. xD I'm only a multishipper if Triple Baka aren't in the general vicinity, or something like that. xD

As for multishipping... It's kinda like if my favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate, then I eat chocolate all the time, but sometimes I'll eat mint just for fun/a new flavor.

Reasons for my preferences under the cut (just discussing what I like): [LONG]

Miku x Teto: They're peak. No explanation needed here. If you want one though, they have like one million dynamics you can give them and all of them are great (though I tend to veer away from the unhealthy ones, ahaha xD). I'm shipping my faves together 'cuz I like them both a lot, and I genuinely think they're qualified to stand by each other, with Teto's achievement of evolving from April Fool's Joke -> professional singing software. I'm a Teal Miku truther, but Blue Miku x Red Teto is neat 'cuz red-blue dynamic is beloved, and I really like the way Teto and Miku contrast with each other. I like ships that balance each other out (could be "opposites attract" or could simply be complementary personalities/traits), so I love Teto doing what Miku doesn't and Miku doing what Teto doesn't. For example, Miku being really kind to everyone but Teto not being afraid to be rude if the situation calls for it. Whether they're goofing around as long-time friends or being really sappy/embarrassing 'cuz I imagine SV Teto is like that, in my head they've been friends for a long time and I simply love it when they're together in any way. I ship them romantically 'cuz I'm into it, but I also like them platonically sometimes too. Either way, they are best friends and I'm all for it. Ever since I've seen the light, I love them to death lmao.

Miku x Neru: Miku is my favorite and I like Neru, so shipping them with each other gives me fan stuff of each so I'm very satisfied seeing them. Everyone likes Miku (you can probably tell 'cuz pretty much all my ships involve her as the other half, exposing me for extreme Miku bias), but Neru's profile stating she admires Miku and whatnot... It's something I only learned recently, but I think it's cute. I haven't thought up a lot of Miku x Neru scenarios in my head so this is more of a ship I'll smile at when I see cross my feed as opposed to get really intense about, but there's no doubt in my head that they like each other, even if it's not in a romantic way. They're friends even if Neru is tsundere, and I think Neru genuinely does appreciate Miku's kindness/presence in her life, so even if Neru acts grumpy, Miku is always welcoming + accepting her with open arms. Neru is the type of friend who trails along and does her own thing, but Miku (and Teto) always make(s) sure to include her, and Neru appreciates it. In return, Neru fiercely defends her friends and will even praise Miku as long as Miku isn't around to hear it. xD (I like the headcanon that Neru isn't talkative sometimes [no voicebank!!!], so sometimes she types/communicates through her phone 'cuz she doesn't want to or doesn't feel like speaking. I enjoy the headcanon that her typing her words on a screen allows her to be more honest or revise/think through her words because if she speaks, she might say things wrong or impulsively. My Miku is all-accepting and loveable/understanding lol so Miku's a great friend to her. Neru isn't mean to her or anything either-- just dishonest/embarrassed about admitting how much she values and appreciates Miku. The tsundere comes out full force, which is cute too in my opinion. ^^)

Teto x Neru: I like them the most as friends who are super tight/chill with each other, BUT I saw a fanart where Teto says something pretty gay to Neru and I thought, "wait, that's actually kinda based" so my mind has been opened to them occasionally being gay (mostly initiated by Teto who is the lesser tsundere of the two). I still like their platonic relationship the best, so that's how they are most of the time (hanging out with each other, doing activities, etc etc. with or without Miku) but Teto might act gay towards Neru sometimes and Neru (the tsundere lesbian that she is) doesn't hate it. The biggest example I can think about is Teto for example joking about them being a couple or "you're stuck with me now" when Miku and SV Teto go off somewhere (the lovebirds), but most of her words are jokes, so I'm thinking it's got the energy of, "We're friends so I wouldn't date you! Unless...?" lol. Once again, Teto and Neru genuinely like each other (as friends), but they like each other to the extent that Teto likes hugging Neru and whatnot (no kissing between these two I feel), and Neru (who hates being touched maybe) might complain (not seriously though) but she doesn't shove Teto away. They're fond of each other in the "I flirt with my friends all the time" way (Teto), but their joking/skinship just shows how comfortable they are in their relationship of friendship, I suppose? I'm thinking of mainly UTAU Teto btw, who I also see as a close friend of Miku's, so it's not like Teto is cheating on her wife or anything. xD It's SV Teto that's firmly Miku's girlfriend. xD

Pink Teto x Neru: I like Teto x Neru as a pair of friends 'cuz I don't see them getting as sappy/romantic as Teto x Miku, BUT there's a version of Teto x Neru in my head that I've been thinking about and THAT one I might ship more seriously, to the point of making actual fanart of it. The version of Teto x Neru that I like romantically is dere Teto x Neru. Dere Teto is a Teto who's been deprived of all of her tsun and is essentially the version of Teto that I grew up with: she's the cheerful Teto that you see in Triple Baka and I also imagine her as a little airheaded (in a cute way). I dub this Teto "Pink Teto" to make it obvious who I'm talking about. She's not pink in this video (calling her pink cuz of Triple Baka), but she's the type of Teto that appears in songs like Ring x Ring x Ring or Packaged: I actually adore this version of Teto a LOT, with my whole heart (she's the original Teto to me), so the idea of Pink Teto x Neru actually excites me because (for context) I used to roleplay Neru and Teto (text roleplay in forum boards/threads on a roleplaying site) and Teto and Neru tended to appear together because they were both Fanloids. (Other roleplayers would roleplay Teto and Neru too-- they tended to be depicted as friends, even if Neru was put off by Teto's silliness/quirkiness/uniqueness/obsession with French bread. xD) The reason I didn't roleplay Miku was apparently because I liked Miku so much that she was untouchable to me and I didn't want to try, so Teto and Neru came easily. I like them as a pair already, basically, and they remind me of old happy memories, so I'm super down with the ship. The reason I like them romantically now is because I'm thinking of slice of life anime/series and since Teto is dere, she easily balances Neru out. It reminds me of actual ship dynamics that I used to adore, so I can easily imagine cute comics or doujinshi about them hanging out or how they treat each other during special occasions (such as Christmas or Valentine's Day). I like niche ships (giving them more love) and they're genuinely reminding me of old fandom things that I loved, so I might draw a lot of them for real and go down a rabbit hole of my own making lmao. But anyway, their dynamic is Pink Teto being really kind/friendly/accepting to Neru and Neru being a tsundere, but as usual, Neru finds it hard to express her feelings but she appreciates Pink Teto's presence and existence a lot. They hang out together a lot as friends (I won't be including Miku for once 'cuz this is a fanloid ship and I'm too Miku x Teto brain to have Miku be around and not hijack the spotlight xD), and Pink Teto might be nice and kind to everyone, but she DOES like Neru a lot which is why she's always hanging around her even if Neru is cold/awkward sometimes. Pink Teto is characterized by her pureness/innocence so maybe she doesn't overthink or introspect about why she likes being around Neru so much; maybe she just thinks "Neru-chan is my friend and if she didn't have me she would be all alone and even though she acts grumpy sometimes she also has a cute side and I like her a lot", so she's a very faithful and loyal friend to Neru. She basically hangs out with her and is often seen with her by default. Neru, on the other hand, does like Teto a lot and is even aware of her own slight feelings for her (from how nice and wonderful Pink Teto genuinely is), so the reason she gets extra tsundere or awkward is because she's embarrassed to express herself/her feelings but at the same time she doesn't want to accidentally push Teto away or make things awkward. Even though Pink Teto is an airhead, she's smart/intuitive when it comes to others' feelings and can read Neru really well after spending a lot of time with her, so Teto is very understanding about Neru's behavior/moods and accepts Neru wholly, even though Neru worries about being rude or mean to Teto (especially not on purpose). Pink Teto x Neru is therefore a very healing/wholesome ship where they're best friends but something more.

(Not to imply friendship is on a lower level than romance. Just saying that their connection isn't quite platonic. But I also think that if they ever started dating, they would need lots and lots of time to get used to/comfortable with that, which is totally fine.) I ended up writing so much that I reached the character block limit for a paragraph lol but this Teto x Neru is pretty appealing to me and I've seen like nothing of it ('cuz I just came up with it maybe? lmao) so I might draw some soon just to show what it looks like. The tldr of it is they're wholesome and pure and I really like that, so I feel healed just thinking of it. (Not all friendships need to or even should ever turn into romances-- I just do it 'cuz I'm a lesbian and I like friendships that are super close to the point of being gay. 'Cuz you really do be loving your friends a lot, even though it shows up differently for each person.)

Miku x Haku: I just really really love Michaela x Clarith (MiClarith) from the Evillious Chronicles (Daughter of Evil series) so yeah. When I found out they were canon lesbians (found out like literally this year, even though I watched Daughter of White like 10+ years ago and knew very little about the lore), I was really happy/ecstatic, so good for them, good for them!! Aside from EC, I think Miku's cheerfulness is a great counter to Haku's gloominess, especially if you already know that Haku is a Miku derivative (also Fanloid) and was made to represent a "failed Miku" and failed/bad songs. Haku is a downer but Miku loves her and in return Haku loves Miku a lot too, so they're very sweet and healthy. Haku makes efforts to improve her own self-esteem/etc. and she also does her best to make Miku happy too, so they're great. I like Miku x Haku quite a bit. c: Haku is sometimes depicted as an older woman (especially with her alcoholism lmao) but let it be known that I ship them in the same age range, obviously. Same with every other ship I touch.

Neru x Haku: I like this ship 'cuz it's kinda a staple, lol. Neru and Haku appeared a lot together as Fanloids (alongside Teto) so they're grouped together. With Neru's tsundereness (being kinda sharp/mean) and Haku's gloominess though, it might be hard to pull off (I definitely don't want it going into bullying or toxicity), so I feel like this ship has to be handled more carefully (for me to like it). xD I like softness and familiarity, so I think they can succeed on that front. ^^ Maybe Neru is extra kind to Haku in her own way. Idk. xD

Okay ships to me:

Miku x Gumi: I like Miku and I like Gumi. I like yuri. This is a fun ship for me to chew on for variety/more Miku love lol. Right now I characterize the Gumi in my head as "nice" (personality-wise), so I haven't seen a lot of Gumi x Miku that gives me many more ideas. I like it though. It's cute and I'm open to more.

Miku x Luka: A popular ship, but because it's popular, there are some weird depictions that I don't fw and sometimes I find the best fanfic I ever read, so liking this ship comes with the territory of liking something popular and therefore being exposed to a lot of different people's takes. I don't really care for the depictions where Miku calls her "Luka-nee" (seeing her in a sisterly way), and I prefer for them to be the same age instead of 16 and 20 respectively (feels weird for a 20 year old to be liking a 16 year old, c'mon). I hope I'm not hitting a hornet's nest with this one, but I don't mind the ship. It has its pros and its cons, and I ignore the cons for people who depict them well. ^^

Miku x Rin: I see Miku and Rin as best friends, but unlike the usual "friends to lovers" route, I usually see them as friends and staying friends. However, I don't mind the romantic ship either, and it's also a popular ship, so there are a lot of different takes. There's some really cute art out there and I love to see it, so when I see cute and wholesome depictions of them, then I'm happy to see it.

Unmentioned ship that I like:

Luo Tianyi x Yuezheng Ling: The Chinese Vocaloids!!! I actually shipped these two uber hard back in the day and they were probably the only Vocaloid ship I shipped that I still ship today. I just wanted to mention them since I'm talking about ships at all. Someone made a fanfic back then that I adored and still remember fondly, and I even reread it recently and it's still great. I also super liked certain love songs about them, such as Zenme Ai and Blossom in the Spring. Maybe I should draw them sometime. I have no idea what their ship name is called (I forgot?) but the art of them is tasty 🥰😋 Ling and Tianyi are also a friends to lovers ship. I clearly like that type of ship the most lol.

It's now 6 AM and I think I'm done writing about my favorite Vocaloid/Fanloid/UTAUloid ships. I may or may not have forgotten some since I'm only using that pic above, but these are the pairings that are at the top of my mind and that I like the most. Any others don't cross my mind right now so if I forgot, maybe it's not that important? xD

By the way, I don't ship Miku with Meiko because I see Meiko as a kind of older/bad role model figure lol (sake addict). So their ages are different in my mind even if I could theoretically headcanon them to be closer. I prefer other Miku ships, that's all. ^^

Anyway, I might draw Pink Teto and Neru sometime since they only exist for me I think. Miku x Teto is my OTP so there's never any chance of me losing interest in it even if I give other things some attention, but I like all kinds of yuri, and I'm most attached to things directly from my childhood.

I'm a day late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY NERU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!! <3

I wasn't going to draw anything initially (srry girl, I was retweeting the art other people made for you tho lol) but something in me wanted to celebrate it properly and I don't draw Neru a lot, so I decided to go for it! Time lapse and traditional under the cut.

I completed the traditional drawing on her birthday at least, hehe. But in the digital, I made a lot of corrections.... Lmao.

1 hour for traditional + ~6 hours yesterday + ~3 hours = 10 hours? I was lowkey kinda gunning it within a day or two which I know isn't a healthy approach to art lol but time was running out and I decided to draw something so time-consuming and I didn't want to pass the date by too much.

Anyway, I like Neru a lot. Younger me really adored her and even if I'm mostly raving about Miku and Teto nowadays, I will NEVER replace Neru lol. Her being around is important to me so I definitely don't want my like for Neru to be underestimated. I'll draw more of her for sure! 💖
