This is a female version of the demon Crowley from Good Omens. I was inspired by the third episode of the series and thought how a Suffragette Crowley would look like. There will be some more paintings of both a female version of Crowley and Aziraphael in the next days, following their shenanigans during the Suffragette movement.
Aziraphael got caught up in all of this unwillingly, just because he wanted to try out the food in one of the women's clubs, that were popular at the time. A certain demon had different plans...

Since I said I'll work on Good Omens fanfiction, I thought I'll bring my best fanart from my previous basement.

Lady Crowley 😈
Inspired by the Crucifixion look. I think she turned out lovely, though her hair is a bit too blood red. If she appears evil... It's Crowley. She'd be trying to do so, trying almost too hard. And she might just be succeeding... My mom could not tell this was supposed to be Crowley at first because she "looked too mean". 🤣

Love that the new Good Omens Kiss Revelation ™️ basically boils down to “Yeah we had a whole scene choreographed but David and Michael just immediately started making out and wouldn’t stop so we deleted two takes out of embarrassment”

I did some more work on these. Meaning, I turned pencil sketches into line-art. I should try and colour them, probably.

Good Omens Fandom and Body-Type Representation (1/2): Lady Crowley
The Good Omens fandom is on fire after the release of Season 2 (we need to cope, yes). There is a lot to say, but let me focus on the visual representation of Aziraphale and Crowley as women. It has always been done, gender swap is a sort of internet rule, but in this case it's canon – or nearly so: in Season 1, during Warlock's childhood, Crowley is a woman; and Neil Gaiman himself revealed that among the flashbacks planned as possible for Season 2, there was "a 1960s American one with Crowley and Aziraphale female presenting." The fandom has gone wild, and the fan art of ineffable wives has multiplied.
So, let's talk about Crowley as a woman – I’ll call her Lady Crowley.
She. Is. Glorious. When artists draw Lady Crowley, they depict her as confident, bold, and beautiful, while retaining Crowley's physical features. Now, I'd like to draw attention to my own physical features. I have a hooked nose, a sharp jawline, I'm very tall and very thin, without curves. In short, I'm very David Tennant-ish (it even happened a couple of times that I was told I looked cartoonish). Rarely in my life have I seen myself as beautiful. Even more rarely have I seen women like me in cultural products who weren't the comic relief, or the villains. Certainly not the primary romantic interest of the story.
The portrayal of Lady Crowley expands the concept of "feminine beauty." Not only it reiterates a figure of a woman unconventionally or atypically beautiful – and the more you see her, the more you'll be inclined to represent women like her – but it surrounds her with coolness. It's the imaginary that feeds itself.
Sure, it's a small slice of imaginary. However, maybe the next time a tall, thin, big-nosed teenage girl gazes herself in the mirror, she won’t think, "I'm ugly, I look like a Scottish man," but rather, "I look like Lady Crowley, I'm awesome!”. For me, this would already be enough.
Stay tuned for the next post on Aziraphale.

I'm drawing all the historical eras based on the order my Patrons vote for.
So many wanted to see the gorgeous Lady Golgotha and her cleavage-baring angelic companion.

because of yuu's living situation I like to think of them as the world's twisted Cinderella until proven otherwise, Crowley keeps making them do things tgat could get em hhurting they live in ramshackle
[Referencing this post!]

Well, that’s the beauty of Twst! A film’s references aren’t limited to just “this twisted character is our take on the Disney film counterpart”. Many different aspects of Twst’s lore could arguably fit as references to multiple films simultaneously.
For example, fans have pointed out that Yuu is like Alice, as both fell into another world. But Ace is also like Alice because he speaks up against the Queen of Hearts (Riddle) and gets into trouble for that. And now here you are, saying that Yuu is also like Cinderella because they live in ramshackle place and carry out chores for Crowley (the “stepmother” in this case). But then you have Trein, who is the character actually twisted from Cinderella’s stepmother, Lady Tremaine. Trein has two adult daughters who must be twisted!Anastasia and Drizella—however, fans have also pointed out that Cater’s two vain older sisters may also be references to Cinderella’s stepsisters. Then for all we know, there might be a real twisted Cinderella (we’ve yet to meet) that exists separately from Yuu, even if Yuu has similar circumstances as them.
That kind of worldbuilding is so interesting! It’s redundant in a way but also not at the same time. Really gives you the sense of being in a dream where the details all sorta mesh together… It’s fascinating.
