soulmate/greatest enemy au except chi you and jiang luo have the same name on their wrists; each other chi you's mark doesn't show up until jiang luo goes to that world, and jiang luo's original world doesn't have it. people are 200% more convinced they are in love and thus the numerous misunderstandings have changed in direction. qi ye had a one-sided bond with jiang luo until he got rid of his spirit body, losing both marks in one go teng bi's mark has changed over the years and his soulmate died and reincarnated, eventually settling on lu youyi

headcanons in canon, they got rid of the tattoo before they could conceive a child. because thats what the curse did, right? -i dont think theyre fit for children anyway, and they might be immortal lovers, so im actually going to say: chi you likes the idea of "branding" jiang luo with his child. jiang luo... does not dislike the idea of showing off how deeply he is chi you's partner. breeding kink, but they don't actively want to conceive. -chi you wants to give jiang luo a permanent mark, just like how jiang luo carved his name in his heart. thus, chi luo tattoos his name where jiang luo's heart is. -eventually jiang luo and chi you become the insufferable couple no one can escape from. they are a package deal; they work together, live together, go on outings and vacations together. -jiang luo sometimes go to bars with his friends or for a mission. chi you possesses a person there (ignoring lack of tattoo) and flirts with him. it soon becomes a game where jiang luo has to guess which one chi you is - and jiang luo is always right. -jiang luo is jealous and chi you is possessive; nothing new. nearly everything jiang luo wears is from chi you himself, with lovely marks decorating his body from their nightly activities. if someone gets too close to chi you, jiang luo will either ruin their life or scare them away.

MXTX protagonists ranked by how bad their mommy/daddy issues are

Luo Binghe: absolutely nuclear level of mommy/daddy issues. this is the consequence of giving your protagonist two deadbeat dads and two dead moms, and then letting him project all those issues onto his overly indulgent teacher

Wei Wuxian: he could've had perfectly normal orphan levels of parent trauma, but what's that?? IT'S THE JIANG PARENTS WITH A STEEL CHAIR!!! the combo of fear and respect he had for Yu Ziyuan is already bad enough, but then there's also the feeling of responsibility for the Jiang siblings that they put on him, which then leads to, you know, all the Yunmeng sibling problems

Lan Wangji: this dude is so haunted by his father potentially kidnapping his mother and then locking her up and putting himself in seclusion, and this significantly shapes his relationship with Wei Wuxian. plus he took his mother's death really, really badly :(

Shen Qingqiu: he like never mentions his parents?? which is weird, but at least he's not haunted by it. however, he gets the special privilege of being the person exacerbating someone else's mommy/daddy issues. he brought this on himself. he doesn't get to walk out of a confession involving a metaphor where he'd be pregnant with his partner and act like that's normal

Xie Lian: he definitely has trauma surrounding his parents for sure, but they don't seem to have manifested as specifically mommy/daddy issues? it's just, you know. normal grief. honestly, there's so much shit going on with his trauma and baggage that he can't be defined by this one thing

Hua Cheng: does not seem to care about his parents?? at all???? he's presumably an orphan and they're probably the origin of his self worth issues, but like. in the grand scheme of things, they do not seem to be that big of a concern for him. who needs mommy issues when you have devotion to dianxia i guess

Part two of the series! I think this part is definitely my favourite, this is where we REALLY start pushing away from canon and exploring the huge ripple effects this sets off.

Yanli as a political figure with in the war camp, unable to fight but determined to use her adminstrative capabilities to support both the Jiangs and Jins. how does this develop her relationship with Zixuan?

Huaisang is far more capable than he lets on - how does he use his particular skill set to contribute to the war?

Mianmian is Zixuan's second in command, so what does that mean for her in the war? through her eyes, how does Zixuan grow from an awkward rich boy to a capable leader?

if Mingjue knows that Meng Yao is a spy in Qishan, how does that change their relationship? and would Mingjue, as the general spearheading the war tactics, make different decisions in light of that information?

if we don't have to worry about budget constraints like the shows, how can we make this feel like the HUGE war that the characters refer to it as???

1. Jiang Cheng - Fattest ass: All his anger is stored in there

2. Xie Lian - He went through so much let him have this

3. Luo Binghe - When he fell into the abyss his ass broke his fall

4. Wei Wuxain - Mo Xuanyu made sure to leave the Yiling Laozu the best ass he could

4. Shang Qinghua - his self insert character had to have some other good assets beside scheming, moderate but nice ass

6. Yue Qingyuan - Worked VERY hard to sculpt his ass, it's nothing grand but it's there

7. Mobei Jun - Tits are bigger

8. Lan Zhan - One of the rules is against a big ass
