I feel like 99% of the Silmarillion fans forget that Fëanor was actually a very likeable guy for most of his life.
That is literally a significant part of why people followed him. A lot of people loved and admired him. He wasn't mean to random people, and definitely not "a toxic husband/father." The whole point of his story is that he was universally beloved, which is what made his fall so impactful.

I feel like you’re less disappointed with the lack or transfems on dropout and more upset about transmasc people daring to be represented for once
So I'm mostly just not going to engage with anonymous asks on this subject. Either put your name behind your discussion or have it elsewhere. However, I want to be very clear about something:
This is absolutely, unequivocally not the case. I want to be clear that I love the transmasc cast of Dropout, many of my favorite recurring cast members are, to one degree or another, describable as such. Asking for transfem rep is not saying "give me that INSTEAD of transmasc rep" that is simply not what I said, and if that is how what I did say was interpreted, then let me be clear:
I would like to see more recurring transfem cast members on Dropout WITHOUT a reduction in the appearance of transmasc cast members.
There really is absolutely no reason why this should be controversial.

Possible controversial opinion: I don't think Max is that bothered by the age difference between him, Avery, and Tristan lmao. Avery and Tristan are most likely in their 30s and he's in his 40s it is not that serious. Also just the way he acts on screen, how confident he is flirting with Avery and talking about women with Tristan, I don't think it's something that is going to worry him! I wouldn't be surprised if Avery and Tristan (especially Tristan) tease him about the what? decadeish age gap? but Max isn't dwelling on it.
Also, let's be real, if he's going to be worried about some sort of power imbalance it's because he's their boss and what they're doing could get them fired.

Rhaena is a Targaryen but, is her skin color the problem or is the writing the problem?
the writing, through and through. skin color is not a problem, but the writing degrading every character that they made black is awful. the velaryons are an ancient, rich and respected house, baela and rhaena are two amazing dragonriders. the show bent their stories to prop up the (white) main characters: rhaenyra and daemon. that’s not how inclusivity works, if you’re going to make characters of color, show them respect.
why is rhaena ordered around as a glorified babysitter? why not write a single scene of her with her father or brothers? why inflict trauma on her by first making her (black) mother die a horrible death then make her relive that sending her to the same place?
rhaena is beloved. rhaena is respected. rhaena lived in the vale as a princess, showered in praise and attention. rhaena is the last dragonrider, a beacon of hope and magic in this world. rhaena got her happy ending. black rhaena deserves that as much as white rhaena.
