Leaving Allah’s side

In the shadows of worldly allure, I strayed,

Betrayed by its promises, my soul dismayed.

Oh Allah, forgive this regretful heart,

For in Your embrace, I find a fresh start.

The world's illusions led me astray,

Yet in Your mercy, I humbly pray.

I repent for leaving Your side, divine,

Guide me back, let Your light in me shine.

Teruntuk perempuan-perempuan yang telah berjilbab syar'i bahkan yang memakai cadar, stop menormalisasi kebiasaan upload foto.

Tidakkah peringatan tentang mudhorat upload foto telah tersebar sekian kali? Lantas mengapa masih bermudah-mudahan berulang kali?

Jangan sampai kalian menjadi orang-orang yang fisiknya tersembunyi di dalam rumah, tapi foto-fotonya tersebar ke segala penjuru dunia maya. Dinikmati, dipandangi, dikomentari dari segala sisi.

Memang benar, tidak ada dalil mutlak yang menyebutkan larangan perihal upload foto.

Tapi ulama-ulama kita telah memberi peringatan kepada kaum wanita untuk tidak bermudah-mudahan menampilkan dirinya. Karena mudhoratnya amat besar, fitnahnya menyambar-nyambar.

Tidak semua hal mesti dipertontonkan. Tidak semua hal mesti dibagi ke ruang publik. Jika bukan untuk mencari validasi, lantas apa tujuan dari foto-foto itu tersebar? Untuk dilihat banyak orang, bukan? Untuk mendapat like dan komentar, 'kan?

Hanya karena sebagian influencer bercadar juga memposting foto-foto mereka, lantas kamu pun menjadi pengikutnya? Menjadikan dirimu menghempaskan rasa malu layaknya mereka?

Jika ada 100 orang lelaki yang menyukai akhwat bercadar dengan ribuan foto yang tersebar di akun mereka, percayalah 10 orang di antaranya justru menganggapmu aneh dan tebar pesona. Bahkan ada yang menggunjingmu di kelompok-kelompok mereka.

Tidakkah kau merasa malu? Saat namamu naik daun di kalangan para lelaki. Bukan, bukan karena prestasi. Tapi karena hobimu berfoto selfie dan tebar pesona di sana-sini.

Maka berhentilah mencari-cari alasan perihal foto itu mesti disebar. Berhenti mencari-cari pengakuan atas dirimu. Berhenti memancing orang lain berbuat dosa dengan foto-fotomu.

Karena jika hari ini kau berhujjah perihal lelaki yang mesti menundukkan pandangan, lantas mengapa kamu tidak berusaha untuk menjaga diri dan kehormatan?

Kamu mungkin melakukan kesalahan kemarin atau mungkin hari ini. Tapi esok, berjanjilah untuk tidak lagi.

Dan bukankah salah satu bagian dari hijrah adalah berhenti mengupload foto diri?

Oh Gaza you might have made me lose my faith in the world, but you strengthen my faith in God

You stroke us with the endless loop that we call “life”

Defining the meaning of purpose

What is dignity if there is no liberty?

Am I free if I can’t pray in the mosque my ancestors have prayed in?

My heart weeps in tears because it will never find peace

Until Palestine is free
