“The Beloved.
Mortal never won to view thee, Yet a thousand lovers woo thee; Not a nightgale but knows In the rose-bud sleeps the rose.
Love is where the glory falls Of thy face : on convent walls Or on tavern floors the same Unextinguishable flame.
Where the turban’d anchorite Chanteth Allah day and night, Church-bells ring the call to prayer, And the Cross of Christ is there.”
-Khājeh Shams-od-Dīn Moḥammad Ḥāfeẓ-e Shīrāzī, translated by R. A. Nicholson.

how much do I love you?
I love you with every fiber of my being
I love you with every atom of my body
I love you as half of my soul
for he created us in pairs.
and We created you in pairs (Quran 78:8)

Leaving Allah’s side
In the shadows of worldly allure, I strayed,
Betrayed by its promises, my soul dismayed.
Oh Allah, forgive this regretful heart,
For in Your embrace, I find a fresh start.
The world's illusions led me astray,
Yet in Your mercy, I humbly pray.
I repent for leaving Your side, divine,
Guide me back, let Your light in me shine.

My heart is filled with rage and belonging. I have been asking myself since October 7th Where is my home?
Is it an imaginary boundary?
Is it a sacred spiritual place?
Is it the mosque that I pray in Ramadan?
Is it a place I feel belong to even if I haven’t visited it?
The world made us distinct, but I find myself relating to the cries of children whose parents were martyr
A mother who couldn’t feed her child
A brothers’ uniting in faith
Oh Gaza you might have made me lose my faith in the world, but you strengthen my faith in God
You stroke us with the endless loop that we call “life”
Defining the meaning of purpose
What is dignity if there is no liberty?
Am I free if I can’t pray in the mosque my ancestors have prayed in?
My heart weeps in tears because it will never find peace
Until Palestine is free

إنّي أرى قادم الأيام تحملُ غايتي
‏وما صبري هذه الأيام.. إلا تأنيّا.
I see that the coming days hold my goal,
And my patience these days is nothing but anticipation.

It is said that when god was lonely he created man ... or was it when man became lonely he created god ?

With time, you will come to know the wisdom of Allah in everything that has happened to you, You will come to realize that He has been more merciful to you than your own self.
