#I see so many transfems say they want to have “flat stomachs” or do diet and exercise regimes to try and get an “hourglass figure”#and it really worries me. girls you do not have to destroy yourselves to fit into unachievable beauty standards#the vast majority of cis women don't even fit those standards#and the same goes for you transmascs! I see you! I see you trying to get smaller chests and hurting yourselves with weight loss routines#and excessive workouts. it's not worth it. weight loss has OVER a 90% long-term failure rate and there's a reason for that#I assure you whatever diet you think you've found that “works for you” won't be working so well 5 years from now#and you're going to blame yourself for “slacking off”. but it's not you. it was never you. it was designed to fail.#these standards are made to hurt people and then sell them a false solution at the price of your health#I encourage you to transition if you'd like and live your best life I really do. but please please please do so SAFELY.#if weight loss is part of your transition goals please reevaluate WHY you believe thinness is necessary for achieving femininity#(or masculinity or androgyny but this stuff particularly affects women in the way it's marketed)#do research on fatphobia and the roots of weight loss culture. If you are like my family who dont eat tg at a diner table, have bags in your room and put any food given in there so you wont have to say im not hungry which will raise suspicion (throw it out when u take out the trash and dont have it for too long 1 week max or else it will start to smell)
When trying to workout in secret, place a blanket over a yoga mat to soften any sounds of hitting the ground, also having the fan on could blend out ur breathing (the yoga mat is for grip so u dont slip from the blanket)
Stay cold <3 ur body will burn more calories trying to warm u up
Distract urself from eating pass time by doing literally anything, except eating ofc 😇
“Wake up late” even if u dont wake up late pretend that u do so u can go half the day w/o anyone nagging u to eat
Don't be rude. Ik it might b a little hard but ppl typically associate bad attitude w hunger
If u can, lock ur door at night when u go to sleep so u can workout w/o anyone walking in on u (relates to 5, u can workout during the time ur “still sleeping”)
Look at thinspo
Have rewards for everytime u reach one of ur goal weights. Ex. Once u reach __ , ull get new clothes or if u dont have money u could do something involving self care like home manicure/pedicure
Take photos of what you dont like about urself and everytime u think abt eating, look at it
Stay thin cuties 💋💋

Note: I haven't done as the dietician has asked yet, but I did talk to my friend in the department about what's been going on and he's concerned. Somehow I feel proud of that. We will see how therapy, my eating, and working out goes today. I plan to weigh in again on Monday, so I'm interested to see where I'm at.

I feel so guilty
I just overate 1.5 packs of kinder Bueno and some orange chocolate. I'm obviously not overly full since it's not much but I'm def not in a caloric deficit anymore today. I also went over my cals yesterday bc it was my dad's bday, we went to dinner and a film where I ate popcorn, then I shared a kinder bueno w my brother.
I just want to reach my goals but I'm in a weird spot rn 😔.
