It was unnecessary but they're trying new ways to kill. It was unnecessary at all. At all. These people, I just can't describe the video - it was the first time that I saw when I woke up and now I see people, I see the scene, the fire everywhere I look. The journalists there said that the people were inside the fire were at least three (3) in the video; a man, woman and a little girl. Israel commits all these massacres and then tells the world that it has the right to defend itself. Why? To avoid another holocaust cause it's never again. But what about this? Isn't that a holocaust or it's never again when its for thr God chosen people and the white people only and when it's about Palestinians and Gazans, and Arabs, it's okay, let them burn. Social media users from around the globe are paying tribute this week to journalist and activist Mousa Qous, a long-time prominent figure in Jerusalem’s Afro-Palestinian community.

Mousa was the executive director of the African Community Society in the Old City of Jerusalem. Much of his life was dedicated to the Palestinian cause and highlighting the often-overlooked experience of Afro-Palestinians.

He passed due to a fire in his home on 9 February and is survived by his wife Joharah and his children, Mohammad and Shaden. An article he wrote for Skin Deep Magazine has been heavily circulated since the news of his passing, in which he wrote about the history and nuanced experience of Afro-Palestinians.

“It is a very specific experience, existing both as an overlooked part of a city’s history and as a persecuted community within a persecuted community,” he wrote. In it, he also interviewed his daughter, 22-year-old Birzeit law student Shaden, who is also very active in the community.

“Israeli forces do not treat the Afro-Palestinian community with humanity,” she said.

“[They] refer to us with the term Koshi [Hebrew for ‘Negro’], while the local Palestinian community calls me Samra [Arabic for ‘Dark woman’]. I am always reminded of my colour and that I am different.”

Shaden, who is also an American citizen, has been very vocal about the Palestinian cause despite Israel’s continuous crackdown on pro-Palestine content online. Israel arrested her on 6 January on charges of “incitement” for social media posts, delaying her release until 10 February – just mere hours after her father’s burial was completed.

There were also reports that Israeli forces stormed the Qous household while many were gathered in mourning, and detained Mousa’s brother, Nasser, the head of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club.

UN rapporteur: Israeli crimes in Gaza could keep ICC ‘busy for the next five decades’ The UN special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territory has said that “accountability is more needed than ever” over Israeli war crimes in Gaza. “The colossal amount of evidence concerning [international] crimes committed by Israel in Gaza just over the past 6 months could keep the [ICC] busy for the next five decades, especially at the current proceedings pace,” Francesca Albanese said in a post on X. She was responding to footage of four Palestinian men being killed by an Israeli air strike in Gaza.

Palestine Action activists targeted US President Donald Trump's Turnberry golf resort in Scotland on Saturday, spraying "GAZA IS NOT 4 SALE" in huge white letters across the lawn and digging up the golf course's holes.

The activists also splattered the luxury resort's clubhouse with blood red paint.

"Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach," the group said in a post on X, referring to Trump's proposal that the US "take over Gaza" and transform it into the "Riviera of the Middle East".

Tell me again how israel cares about the hostages? Tell me how again they still trying "oh so hard" to get the hostages back?

There are currently over 8000 Palestinians in israeli jails, most of them convicted without a trial, most of them are innocent and over a 100 are serving life sentences.

Yet when hamas proposes a deal that allows ALL the children, women, elderly or ill to be released for only a fraction of the Palestinians detainees israel calls it unrealistic?

Israel doesn't care about hostages. Never has and never will. They will continue to use this as an excuse to ethnically cleanse the Palestinians.

Anyone who still supports israel is just delusional at this point.
