@1leenmatar is currently displaced in Gaza with her family. Her husband, Ahmed, migrated a week before the genocide, but he cannot provide for his family, as he's still waiting for his asylum application to be accepted. His family is living in Gaza in the worst conditions, without access to proper food, water, shelter or medicine

They have a gofundme set up to help cover all the costs of repairing their destroyed home, migrating, and other things, the details of which you can find in the gofundme's description. So far they've only managed to raise €3,508/€64,000. Please, help by sharing their campaign, and donating to it if you're able to

After yesterdays update about @ahedfamily's daughter, Iman's, foot deformity and the blatant racist rhetoric that Palestinians have to deal with on Tumblr, we had multiple donations!

It really gave me the faith that we can do more for Ahed. Can we extend this faith to Ahed?

As a reminder, Ahed has 3 daughters he desperately wants to get out of Gaza.

His 6 year old daughter has a deformity in her right foot that Doctors have said she needs treatment for. Treatment in the future is unsure but I would love to fundraise more money for them so they can secure it when it may be possible.

Interview with released prisoner and cancer patient Mohammad Aklouk, who had been detained since the start of the war. Mohammad describes the horrific conditions of his detainment, including the small, oppressive cell windows and the inability to see sunlight. The repression units frequently ordered prisoners to drop to the ground and brutally beat them. Mohammad emotionally recalls a fellow prisoner, Mohammad Al-Kahlout from Jabalia, who was struck in the head and died in his arms. Aklouk is one of 70 prisoners who were released on June 11th 2024 through the Zikim crossing west of Beit Lahia currently staying in Kamal Adwan Hospital.
