i think im getting less sensitive about online system bullshit. it still bothers me, but it doesnt ruin my day and put me in a foul mood - at worst i ruminate over it for a few hours and then cope by vaguely complaining and reposting things ive already said to make myself feel more secure
#my posts#i think sane interactions with people have helped me process the concept of systemhood and destigmatise plurality as a whole in my brain#now i can be critical of the idiotic parts of it without being triggered by it being mentioned at all#because when most people mention it they dont necessarily mean the idiotic parts anyway#my sense of self has also kept improving. ive been processing the fact that im not allowed sex right now#because my dissociation is bad and my boyfriend is not prepared to take these risks with me#and it scared me at first but theres been peace since#i feel somewhat secure now that its a hard no for the foreseeable future. ive been digesting maybe i will Actually never do it again#i think it definitely calmed the child part down. this is what they wanted#wanted it never again#me and constantly processing several things at once. just need to make sure im living at the same time

|| Dinner? A Bath? Or Me? || Honkai Star Rail Reactions ||
the thing I did for windbreaker imma do it for hsr too mehehehe just experimenting if this is well received I’ll do more
requests are open btw check my blog!
: aventurine. dr.ratio. sunday. dan heng. phainon. mydei.
cw: hints of sexual content. suggestiveness. established relationship. gn!reader. possible oocness (first time writing for some of these characters). art used does not belong to me but credited to it's rightful owner.
"Welcome home! Would you like dinner? A bath? Or perhaps me...?"
Aventurine stills for a moment before his signature smile graces his face. You can already feel his mischievousness radiating off of him in waves as he steps closer to you, to stand directly in front of you. He acts as if he's in deep contemplation at your words. "Dinner does sound nice, I'm absolutely famished! Though, a nice hot bath does sound equally as enticing." He says with a playful mirth, trying to gauge your reaction. He's quick to notice the slight down pull of your lips - as expected of you, his smile grows wider. "Ah, the third option?" He asks like an afterthought but you know it's intentional. His face inching closer to yours while his gloved hand teasingly trails up your arm. His eyes lock you into a hypnotic trance that you can't possibly look away from.
"Hmm and what might you be able to offer me...?"
❥ Dr. Ratio's face is serious as he digests your question. "Dinner followed by a bath would sound like the most logical option." He tells you as if he's stating a basic fact which causes you to deflate. "However..." You perk up at his words. "Exercising before eating has been known to lead to improved insulin responses and a higher fat burning rate." He speaks to you as he walks past you towards the hallway of your shared home. You feel your face grow how at his implication and use of the word 'exercising'. Then he suddenly stops to look back at you, his reddish eyes locking onto you. "Why don't we do a little exercising before dinner?" The atmosphere in the room shifting with the implication of his words. His face remains serious as he motions you to follow him.
"I simply chose the option with the most merits, that would be beneficial for the both of us."
❥ Sunday blanks out as he tries to process your words and the possible meaning behind them. As he eliminates all possible answers and lands on the one you’re most likely insinuating. His face starts to flush - his wings twitching from the urge to hide his face. "By ‘me’, are you possibly implying...?" Sunday manages to stutter out as he shyly looks towards you - awaiting your confirmation. You can't help but laugh softly at his question before nodding. Sunday matches your nod with his own letting the words sink in. The halovian hesitantly steps closer to you, taking your hands in his. "Then, may I h-have you...?" He asks you a slight nervousness laced within his voice as he brings your hands for his lips brush against your knuckles. A smile blossoms on his face as you accept.
"T-Thank you, I promise to take good care of you..."
❥ Dan Heng freezes as you ask him this question. Keeping his face as neutral as possible. Your words immediately reminding him of a certain grey haired friend. He wonders if it was their idea to make you pose this kind of question to him. His eyes nervously shift around the room to make sure they’re really not hiding, watching his reaction. Once Dan Heng confirms the coast is clear, he clears his throat awkwardly looking away from you in embarrassment. The full weight of your words and intentions hitting him at once. “Sorry, I-I must have heard you wrong. Did you say ‘me’..?” You eagerly confirm, a smile beaming on your face. He pauses as he considers his next words, trying to come up with possible answers to your question. Your prolonged silence as you await his answer makes his cheeks grow redder by the second.
“I s-suppose one of those options does sound appealing to me…”
❥ Phainon couldn't contain the excited smile that breaks out on his face at your words. He immediately walks up to you, but before you could react to his sudden closeness. His hands hook underneath your thighs, lifting you to his press against his chest. You instinctively wrap your arms around his neck to steady yourself. Feeling pleased, Phainon chuckles at your reaction. “Why, my dear. I believe the answer should be obvious.” He answers you with a bright smile as he walks over to the dining table, then carefully placing you upon it. He then places his hands on your cheeks, cradling your face as if you're his most prized possession. Your body tensing as the pad of his thumb brushes against your button lip - his previous smile turning into a smirk.
“You don’t even need to ask, the answer will always be you.”
❥ Mydei smirks, a deep resounding chuckle rumbling from his chest. “How bold of you to ask me such a thing.” He proclaims as he slowly walks towards you like a lion stalking his prey. His crimson eyes rooting you to the spot, daring you to even try to move away from him. “I don’t think dinner can satisfy the hunger I have right now.” He almost growls to you, as if he's trying his best to hold himself back from pouncing on you right now. As you momentarily look away from him in embarrassment, he uses his fingers to tilt your chin up. "Eyes on me." He orders, his eyes swirling with want while his other hand holds your waist to pull you until you're pressed against him. You feel your breath stolen away with how quickly his lips descend upon yours.
“I hope you know what you’ve gotten yourself into.”

LITTLE WAYS TO LIVE HEALTHIER IN 2025
INCREASE YOUR N.E.A.T. Neat stands for non exercise activity thermogenesis. So, basically any daily activities we do when not exercising or sleeping. It's important for you to have a high N.E.A.T because it can be the difference between having a sedentary lifestyle or being moderately active.
Ways to increase NEAT is to do more heavier chores everyday (vacuuming, mopping, dusting), taking the longer routes when walking, stand for 10 minutes each hour, pace back and forth while calling someone, march while you’re brushing your teeth, etc.
DRINK HERBAL TEAS. Herbal teas can help you in a variety of areas of life, and are a great substitute for other processed beverages.
ADD SUNLIGHT IN YOUR MORNING. Exposing yourself to sunlight early in the day helps with resetting the circadian rhythm, which in return helps for waking up easier and going to sleep easier.
EAT WITHOUT DISTRACTIONS. You’ll savour your food so much more and it’ll be easier to tell when you’re satisfied.
CREATE A PLAYLIST FOR WHEN YOU WIND DOWN. Once you get into the habit of listening to this playlist, it’ll become like a trigger to your body that it’s time to sleep because listening to that playlist should be followed by settling into bed.
REGULARLY GO TO YOUR GP. Especially if you’re feeling a bit out of it. It is always better to make those regular visits and catch something before it becomes out of hand.
STOP WAKING UP SO EARLY. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but waking up at 5am is unnecessary if not required. While I do believe that waking up earlier does have benefits, that extra hour of sleep probably has more.
IF YOU’RE STRUGGLING, TAKE IT SLOWER. In this day and age, we don’t have time to process a lot of things. Everything is so fast paced, that if we fall behind, we tend to feel less than.
Especially if you’re someone who can’t keep pace with the crowd due to disabilities or mental health. Take things at your own pace, and do what you can will yourself to do.
GET SPIRITUAL. Lots of studies show that people who commit themselves to their beliefs are a lot happier in life than those who don’t. This doesn’t mean that you have to commit to a religion yet, but I would explore your spirituality side and see what resonates with you.
WEAR YOUR SPF. Skin cancer is no joke, and our earth is only getting hotter. Protect yourself, including your body!
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH GOOD PEOPLE. People who radiate love and are always looking for the goodness around them, that rubs off on you and in return you’ll develop similar traits. Being with them will stimulate growth in all aspects of your life.
I'm not telling anyone to ‘fix’ anyone, but it means a lot to other people if you can be that person in their life. It's a very rewarding and fulfilling lifestyle.
TAKE MAKEUP BREAKS REGULARLY. Give your skin a break from products, and ideally take a week off each month to spend it makeup free. You’re saving time and your skin.
ADD IN FRUITS, HERBS OR LEMON IN YOUR WATER. This will help with extra hydration and improve digestion.
PRIORITISE FIBRE. As much as protein is good for you, fibre has just as much importance but it's not as heavily prioritised. Ideally, half of your meal should be fibres. However, that can be a hard change for some people, so start with having it on the side.
It's great if you can incorporate ‘hidden’ fibre into your meals as well!
CURATE YOUR SPACE TO SUIT YOU. Add in little notes of reminders or quotes, place around photos or awards of your achievements, remove anything that impacts you negatively. You want the area that you’re in 24/7 to support that growth, not stifle it.
Keep your area clean and decluttered as well. Try to minimise the amount of stuff that you have. You only need one of each thing, two is one too many. Having too much clutter affects the clarity of your mind.
it is numbered oddly because of the way I pasted this from google docs to tumblr. apologies!

We have three brains: The head brain, the gut and the heart.
🧠 Head (Brain): This is where our logic, intellect, and conscious thought processes are centered. Despite its importance, 90% of our behavior is influenced by our unconscious mind.
How to take care:
🧠 Do activities that stimulate your brain, such as puzzles, reading, learning new skills, or practicing mindfulness meditation. These activities can help improve cognitive function and maintain brain health.
🧠 Healthy nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, and managing stress are crucial for brain health. Physical health directly impacts your cognitive abilities and mental clarity.
🧠 Keep your brain active by learning new things regularly. This could involve hobbies, courses, or activities that challenge and stimulate your intellect.
🍽️ Gut: Often referred to as our "second brain," the gut produces a significant amount of serotonin, which plays a crucial role in mood regulation and overall emotional management.
How to take care:
🍽️ Eat a diet rich in fiber, fruits, vegetables, and probiotics (like yogurt or kefir) to promote a healthy gut microbiome. Avoid excessive sugar and processed foods.
🍽️ Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support digestion and overall gut function.
🍽️ Stress can negatively impact your gut health. Practice stress reduction techniques like deep breathing, yoga, or meditation to maintain a healthy gut-brain axis.
❤️ Heart: The heart has neural pathways that communicate with the brain, suggesting a bidirectional flow of information. This connection emphasizes the role of emotions, intuition, and feelings in our decision making and overall cognitive processes.
How to take care:
❤️ Maintain positive relationships, express your emotions constructively, and engage in activities that bring you happiness and fulfillment.
❤️ Regular exercise not only benefits the heart but also helps manage your emotions by releasing endorphins and reducing stress.
❤️ Take time for your self care activities that nurture your emotional and psychological health.

Tips: Writing Flow
Good writing flow makes for an effortless reading experience and is essential to the quality of academic and creative writing. The best writers pay close attention to flow throughout their writing process.
Writing flow - the pace, cadence, or rhythm of a piece of writing.
Good writing flow allows a reader to ease into the text without expending much mental energy—it has a natural feel that makes reading a breeze.
Texts without good flow feel choppy and lack cohesion.
The best way to establish good writing flow is to focus on word choice, varied sentence structure, and ensure solid coherence between your main points.
Good writing flow results from care and attention at both the sentence and paragraph levels. Consider these tips to improve the flow of a piece of writing:
Ensure that paragraphs have a clear organizational structure. Solid paragraph structure is crucial in academic writing. The first sentence of every body paragraph should begin with a topic sentence that tells the reader the paragraph's main point. Specific examples should then support the topic sentence. If necessary, end the paragraph with a transition sentence leading to the proceeding paragraph.
Link sentences with pronouns. Clear pronoun references can create cohesion in your writing. Pronouns like “he,” “she,” “it,” and “they” refer to previously mentioned nouns (aka antecedents). For example, “The writing center provides helpful tools for first-time writers. It can also help experienced writers overcome writer’s block.” In this case, the pronoun “it” helps these two sentences flow together.
Use transition words. Transition words—known as “signposts”—create a coherent train of thought by signaling to the reader that the next sentence is in some way related to the previous sentence. Some common signposts include “for example,“ “furthermore,” “therefore,” “however,” and “as a result.” Make sure that not every sentence begins with the same transition word. For example, if you start one sentence with “therefore,” use another word when starting the following sentences.
Use varied sentence lengths. A combination of short and long sentences gives a piece of writing rhythm. In fiction writing, short sentences create forward movement. In academic writing, varied sentence lengths improve the flow of information by making the text easy to digest.
Use varied sentence structures. Break up the monotony of a text by using different types of sentence structures. Good sentence flow makes use of simple, compound, and complex sentences. Simple sentences have a single independent clause: “I chopped the carrots.“ Compound sentences have two or more independent clauses: “I chopped the carrots, and Karen peeled the potatoes.“ Complex sentence structures have a single independent clause and one or more dependent clauses: “I added the vegetables to the pot after the water came to a boil.”

"pain is a price to pay for happiness"

#5:FIND PURPOSE
✉️:Finding a meaningful life purpose is a profound journey that many people embark on at different stages of their lives. It involves discovering what brings fulfillment, direction, and satisfaction. Identifying a purpose can help guide decisions, inspire actions, and provide a sense of meaning in both personal and professional aspects of life.
1.Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to Finding Your Life’s Purpose
﹙ 💌 ﹚ we will explore the concept of Ikigai, a Japanese term that means “a reason for being.” Ikigai is important to know because it offers a pathway to finding purpose and joy in life. It involves harmonizing four key elements: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be rewarded for...
2.EVERYTHING ABOUT IKIGAI
Basically, ikigai is seen as the convergence of the following four core elements:
1. What you love (your passion)
2. What the world needs (your mission)
3. What you are good at (your vocation)
4. What you can get paid for (your profession)
The word ikigai, that space in the middle of these four primary elements, is seen by the Japanese as the source of value or what make one's life truly worthwhile.
THE 10 RULES OF IKIGAI
1. Stay Active, Don’t Retire:
- The idea behind this rule is to keep your mind and body engaged in meaningful activities. Retirement doesn't mean stopping all productive work. It encourages finding activities you enjoy and continuing to contribute to society, which can provide a sense of purpose and satisfaction.
-Benefits: Staying active helps maintain cognitive function, physical health, and emotional well-being. It can prevent feelings of uselessness and isolation.
2. Take It Slow:
- Embrace a slower, more deliberate pace of life. Instead of rushing through tasks, take time to savor and appreciate the process.
- Benefits:This can reduce stress and anxiety, improve the quality of your work and help u enjoy life more fully. It encourages mindfulness and living in the present moment.
3. Don’t Fill Your Stomach:
- The 80% rule, also known as "hara hachi bu" advises stopping eating when you're 80% full, rather than completely sated.
- Benefits: This practice promotes better digestion, prevents overeating, and can lead to a healthier weight. It’s associated with longevity and reduced risk of chronic diseases.
4. Surround Yourself with Good Friends:
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships. Spend time with people who uplift and support you.
- Benefits: Good friends provide emotional support, reduce stress, and enhance your sense of belonging. Strong social connections are linked to better mental health and increased life expectancy.
5. Get in Shape for Your Next Birthday:
- Regular physical activity is essential for maintaining health and energy. Aim to improve or maintain your fitness level each year.
- Benefits: Exercise boosts physical health, mental clarity, and mood. It helps prevent chronic diseases, improves sleep, and enhances overall quality of life.
6. Smile:
- Adopting a positive attitude and smiling can improve your mood and the mood of those around you.
- Benefits: Smiling releases endorphins, reduces stress, and promotes a positive outlook. It can improve social interactions and relationships.
7. Reconnect with Nature:
- Spend time outdoors and appreciate the natural world. This can involve walking in parks, hiking, gardening, or simply enjoying a sunny day.
- Benefits: Nature exposure reduces stress, boosts mood, and improves mental health. It can also enhance physical health and encourage a sense of wonder and connection to the world.
8. Give Thanks:
- Practice gratitude regularly by acknowledging and appreciating the positive aspects of your life.
- Benefits: Gratitude enhances happiness, reduces negative emotions, and improves mental health. It can also strengthen relationships and foster a more positive outlook on life.
9. Live in the Moment:
- Focus on the present rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Engage fully in whatever you are doing at the moment.
- Benefits:This practice, also known as mindfulness, reduces stress and enhances enjoyment and satisfaction. It can improve mental clarity and emotional regulation.
10. Follow Your Ikigai:
-Discover and pursue your Ikigai—the intersection of what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Let this guide your life choices and actions.
- Benefits:Finding and following your Ikigai leads to a fulfilling and meaningful life. It helps align your passions with your skills and societal contributions, resulting in a sense of purpose and happiness.

So you want to write a novel before 2025 runs out, huh?
10 actions you should include in your list to make that dream a reality.
1. Practice Time Blocking
Trust me, you need it. Allocating specific blocks of time for writing can significantly boost your productivity and help you stay focused. Emphasis on ‘stay focused’.
2. Have an Idea Reservoir or Tank
Create a dedicated space to store all your ideas during brainstorming sessions or whenever inspiration strikes. I recommend Google Docs and Notion to keep everything organized and easily accessible.
3. Watch More Movies and Read New Books
There's no better way to expand your horizons than consuming diverse media. This is such a great way to spark fresh ideas and provide new perspectives for your writing.
4. Listen to Writing Podcasts and Join Helpful Newsletters
Stay updated and inspired by listening to writing podcasts and subscribing to newsletters that offer tips, advice, and industry news. It changes everytime. Who says 2025 would be any different? It's best to be prepared.
5. Create a Playlist
Arrange your favorite tracks in a way that suits your writing mood. Music can be a powerful tool to set the tone and mood. It helps you feel relaxed and aid scene projections. It also enhances your creativity.
6. Join an Active Writer's Community
Yes, it's that important. Whether it's an online forum or a local group, being part of a community provides valuable feedback and critique. Engaging with fellow writers also offer support and motivation.
7. Build Your Social Presence
I feel this isn't addressed enough. If you want people to get invested in your work, start promoting your book and what you do even before it's finished. Share your journey and let people fall in love with your process and personality.
8. Write a List of Comfortable Spots
Identify and list the places where you feel most comfortable and productive while writing. Having a go-to spot can help you get into the right mindset.
9. Research Writing Tools
Explore various writing tools and find the ones that work best for you. Discard the rest to avoid clutter and distraction.
10. Invest in Writing Courses
If you can, take courses that will help you improve your craft. Courses are now made into digestible sections, covering an important segment of writing in elucidating details, which saves you the hassle of paying high figures for a course.
Lastly, go easy on yourself
Understand that some days will be unproductive, and others will exceed your expectations. This doesn't make you any less of a writer. Love yourself for what you do, appreciate your work for what it is, and value your effort no matter the outcome. You need to love your work first before others will.
♥♥♥♥♥♥

NUTRITION JOURNALS: PROTEIN
WHAT IS PROTEIN?
- protein is a complex molecule comprised of amino acids. proteins play a role in tissue growth/repair, regulating chemical reactions, enzyme activity, and more.
HOW DOES PROTEIN HELP WEIGHT LOSS?
- protein has a higher thermic effect than carbohydrates or fat, meaning your body burns more calories digesting it. because of this, your body stays full longer and helps ward off your appetite. its also considered the most filling out the three macro-nutrients. - protein helps build muscle mass, which in turn helps protect from muscle loss while losing weight. - in a 12-month study done on 130 overweight people on a calorie-restricted diet, the high-protein group lost 53% more body fat than a normal-protein group eating the same number of calories. another study found that overweight women who ate 30% of their calories from protein lost 11 pounds (5 kg) in 12 weeks.
WHAT ELSE DOES PROTEIN DO?
- proteins, especially animal proteins, help improve your bone health. it can also help you recover after an injury, as it forms the main building blocks of your tissues and organs. - it also helps balance glucose, carry oxygen, and boost your metabolism. additionally, it makes enzymes that help digest food and create new cells and chemicals, and hormones that regulate important processes, especially during puberty.

web of wyrd: annual energies and potential surgeries associated with the year
the outer rim of the wyrd web foretells the themes of our year ahead. today i will be covering some common surgeries that tend to occur. in no way does one number mean a single surgery type. each number can mean different surgeries - multiple surgeries - no surgery... this is just what i associate medically with these energies and i have seen correlate with other charts when surgery occurred. your lack of a number correlation with an experience below does not mean to minimize your experience. this is a general hypothesis not a fact.
tw: sensitive topics like amputation, ivf, addiction, weight, physical trauma, and end of life care are included in post.
1 (the magician): laser surgery
skill, precision, and transformation. this technique uses precision tools to create change in the body.
2 (the high priestess): diagnostic surgery
intuition, secrets, and hidden knowledge. seeks to uncover hidden issues or provide clarity about a medical condition (will be common for 2000 baby around the time doctors start recommending colonoscopies and mammograms).
3 (the empress): fertility surgery
surgeries like in vitro fertilization (IVF) or other fertility-related procedures.
4 (the emperor): orthopedic surgery
structure and stability. anything involves bones, joints, and structural support of the body, resonates with this energy.
5 (the hierophant): cardiovascular or oral surgery
what maintains order/structure in the body a.k.a. anything dealing with the heart and blood flow. oral surgery is because of this card connection to the throat and sharing of beliefs which requires the mouth - it might be time for your wisdom teeth extraction.
6 (the lovers): cosmetic or reconstructive surgery
this is often elective surgery / chosen for personal reasons related to self-image.
7 (the chariot): neurosurgery
deals with the brain and nervous system (the body's control center), which aligns with the chariot's themes of mastery and control.
8 (strength): physical rehabilitation surgery
requires a lot of resilience as muscles and tendons aren't easy to heal...
9 (the hermit): gastrointestinal surgery
involves the digestive system, relates to the internal processes and inner workings (aligning with hermit energy).
10 (the wheel of fortune): emergency surgery
often needed unexpectedly and dictated by fate, aligns with the theme of chance.
11 (justice): corrective surgery
aims to fix or balance out bodily functions or appearance, mirrors the themes of rectifying and balancing.
12 (the hanged man): organ transplant
sacrifice, suspension, and new perspectives. transplant surgery involves the sacrifice of one organ for the life of another, offering a new lease on life.
13 (death): amputation
a literal removal or ending of a part of the body, that can also lead to a transformative process of healing and adapting.
14 (temperance) : bariatric surgery
used to achieve weight balance and improve health.
15 (the devil): addiction, breast reduction, and reproductive surgery
surgeries that address addiction-related issues, such as gastric banding for overeating. but also reproductive surgery like a tubal ligation or vasectomy. any surgery where something big/open becomes small, constricted, snipped, or thinned.
16 (tower): trauma surgery
sudden upheaval, destruction, and revelation. this type of surgery is often performed in response to sudden, life-altering accidents or injuries, echoes the energies themes of sudden change and crisis.
17 (the star): reconstructive/plastic surgery
hope, healing, and renewal are themes of this energy - this surgery which restores form and function after trauma or illness, aligns with the themes of healing and rejuvenation.
18 (the moon): biopsies and tissue collections
biopsy involves extracting tissue to investigate potential issues, often when there’s uncertainty about a diagnosis or the presence of something hidden (like tumors or other abnormalities).
19 (the sun): pediatric surgery
performed on children and ensures their health and vitality, which connects with the energy's themes of life, energy, and well-being.
20 (judgment): organ transplant or some other life changing/saving surgery
life-saving surgeries, such as heart or organ transplants, can offer a second chance at life, reflecting the energy's themes of renewal and awakening.
21 (the world): making a full recovery or end-of-life care
surgeries that lead to a full recovery or decisions around end-of-life care align with the themes of closure and achieving a state of completeness found with this energy.
22 (the fool): exploratory surgery
represents the unknown. aligns with entering a medical situation without knowing what will be found.

Chic Girl Diet: Gut Health & Clear Skin | IT GIRL DIARIES
Living a “chic” lifestyle, to many, often means keeping up with the latest trends, from fashion to beauty, but it also includes taking care of our bodies—and that means addressing what we put inside them. I had a carefree relationship with food and self-care. At the time, I didn’t see how this was affecting me until my body started to show signs of distress—cystic acne, weight gain, fatigue, and bloating. For years, I had clear skin, but suddenly, I was dealing with breakouts that seemed impossible to control. This was a wake-up call about how my overall lifestyle and eating habits had caught up with me. The extra weight, the sluggishness, and the skin issues were all tied together.
At first, I turned to dermatologists and medications, hoping to fix the symptoms without addressing the root cause. But the pills often made me feel worse, causing headaches, body aches, and digestive problems. I’ve never been one to rely on chemical treatments, so I decided to try something more holistic: a change in diet and a more consistent workout routine. I wanted to see if cleaning up my eating habits and focusing on my gut health could make a real difference—not just for my skin, but for my overall well-being. What i call the “Chic Girl Diet” ,was born from this—an approach I took that focuses on nourishing the body from the inside out. I knew I had to change my eating habits and fitness routine to feel better, not just look better.
For two months, I followed a diet designed to heal my gut and promote clearer skin by cutting out processed foods and sugar. I did regular exercise to boost my metabolism and improve my energy levels, prioritising strength training specifically for this reason. The goal wasn’t just to get clear skin, but to feel better in my own body and reverse the damage of unhealthy living.
The results spoke for itself. My acne cleared up, the bloating minimised, and I feel more energetic and confident. I realized that sometimes we overlook the root cause of our problems—our lifestyle choices. Processed foods have become so normalized that it’s almost as if burgers grow on trees! We forget how deeply our eating habits affect not just our waistlines but our skin, digestion, and overall well-being.
It’s definitely not about perfection but about making small, sustainable changes that support your gut health and overall balance. If you’re struggling with acne, unnecessary weight gain, or fatigue, it might be time to reset your habits and give your body the nourishment it truly needs. The key is in focusing on whole foods, consistency, and self-care to help you feel—and look—your best.
That said, everyone’s body is different, and some people do require medication for health reasons. Acne, in particular, can stem from many different causes—hormonal imbalances, genetics, or other underlying health issues. It’s always best to get professional medical advice before following any health recommendations that may have been beneficial to the next.

Dear dream girl, I really want to be my dream girl but I don’t know where to start. I feel unmotivated most of the time and I only get a burst of motivation at like 3 am. I just what to glow and radiate good energy for myself and find/do what I like
Oh, So You Wanna Be a Dream Girl? 🎀
starting your dream girl journey
Congrats on choosing yourself and your tiara; I am so proud. Prepare to not be liked, to be judged, and to stand out. It’s lonely at the top.
*this guide is for starting the process, not reaching the end result because my version of my own dream girl is inevitably different than yours. bare in mind i’m not holding your hand. i’m nudging you in a good direction.
what is a dream girl?
a dream girl is a girl that has finally fallen in love with who she sees in the mirror. she’s the girl that she can depend on. she has her desired look and she’s on the path to self actualization actively. she’s aware of her branding. she holds herself to the standards she holds other to; and they are HIGH. her self worth isn’t contingent upon a love interest, amount of money, or social status. she’s simply that girl.
do some healing.
yes, i said it. healing. like i’ve said before, you cannot put glitter on literal garbage. that’s not even the slightest bit appealing. you’re gonna journal about your childhood, your biggest influences in life, your biggest fears and how you feel life has treated you. this calls for shadow work. shadow working really helped me figure out some of my toxic traits and how some of the things that were considered normal to me as a child have affected me in the long run. you’re also gonna write hypothetical letters to your loved (and not-so-loved) ones, including yourself. let it all out. say everything you want that person to know. around you or not, dead or alive. prepare to clam up, cry, get angry, feel anxious. good. you should. you feel clammy, hot and sometimes pain when your body is fighting off and healing from a physical sickness. now you’re dealing with the developmental, mental, and emotional parts. you’re doing yourself a disservice choosing to stay the same toxic, nasty, mean, or victimized person you’ve always been.
what do you want?
before you can start to even do the smallest improvements, you have to have a clear goal. or else you’ll just be running around in circles (heh) over grandiose blurry wishful thinking. ultimately resulting in you giving up and choosing to be basic bc it’s easier. what do you want out of life? how do you want to be treated? what do you want to do? what makes you happy? and most importantly, how do you want to feel? see, it’s more than just the frills and glitter. you have to know what you’re trying to get to, internally and externally.
grab a diary, adorn it with pretty little details and commit to it. pair it with your fav writing utensil. outline all of your goals. every single last one of them. you can categorize them, scale them from short to long term, easy to hard. it doesn’t matter. do absolutely what you want to do to make a concrete record of your goals that’s digestible for you.
what are you going to do?
*fabulosity by kimora lee simmons*
compare your dream reality to the one you’re currently experiencing. what is she doing that you aren’t? that’s it. do that. anyone can read blogs about the process and other people success stories but those posts aren’t gonna change your life unless you get up and go for what you want. i don’t know what exactly you desire out of life. you do. so you have the instructions for this journey. the first part was easy, this is simple but not nearly as effortless. it’s up to you and not anyone else. you teach others how to treat you. improvements you can make include better: hygiene, self talk/treatment, outward energy, work ethic, discipline, health, consumed content, relationships, looks, habits.
the work
it’s time to apply yourself. get up everyday and actively work towards your goal. be kind to yourself. take yourself to the doctors. get active. eat right. find your passion. DO THE HEALING.
everyone’s journey is SO different so i’m just going to do a quick rundown of the importance of each of the ten facets of your dream girl journey (that build upon each other. ie; looks do not benefit you when your hygiene is insufficient):
*these facets are loosely based on maslow’s hierarchy of needs
health - are you taking care of yourself? please treat yourself how you would your loved ones. you’ll be surprised how physical issues manifest mentally, and vice versa. get adequate sleep. take baby steps if need be. some of these adjustments may be huge to you. be gracious with your journey.
consumed content - everything you engage in is your diet. the company you keep, food you eat, music you enjoy. you get the idea. do you feel light and ready to take on the day? or do you feel drained and sick more often than not. make some adjustments wherever you see necessary.
hygiene - extremely important. stick to a routine for your hygienic needs. you should have rituals you engage in everyday. don’t forget that your health and hygiene go hand in hand. oral and feminine hygiene is so crazily important. please don’t neglect yourself. i talk about my routines in detail here.
habits - daily habits are so crucial to your lifestyle. adjust these and consciously break your bad habits by supplementing your life with equal and opposite habits.
self talk/treatment - simple. be kind to yourself. hold yourself accountable for flaws and mistakes while loving yourself enough to be patient with the journey of improving.
outward energy - be very aware of the vibes you’re permeating. again this is so a huge determination of how you will be treated and how you will live your life.
work ethic/discipline - it’s gonna take serious accountability to escape the desire to stay comfortable. you have to tell yourself that you deserve *your desired end result* so you will *make specific change/adjustment.* it’s that simple (again simple doesn’t mean easy).
relationships - if you don’t like the way you’re treated by those in your life, those relationships need to be reevaluated. you can make some trims on your circle, have some honest conversations, or adjust your behaviors (because sometimes, YOU are the problem).
passion and career - in order to feel fulfilled in life, we all need a purpose. discover yours. incorporate your passion into your daily life.
looks - develop your signature and hone in on it. looks are very important to your perception (self and public). check out this guide to help with this part. however you wanna feel is how you should display yourself.
be a dream girl!
you’ve discovered all the facets of creating your dream self and reality. now it’s time to apply what you’ve learned. start showing up in life in the fashion you want to be seen in.
that’s it! the rest is up to you!
- xoxo, dreamgrlarchive 🎀

✨ Astro Insights ✨
Astrology also can be used to explore ways to identify one's strengths, weaknesses and how to improve your physical and mental health. Part 1 covers the 1st house, this is part 2 with looks at the 6th house and part 3 will focus on the 8th house. I will also make a separate post for mental health houses.
Please be mindful these are just my own studies and do what is best for your circumstances and what feels good for YOU!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
6th House
In astrology the 6th house governs daily habits, diet, exercise and illness. It shows in how someone manages their wellbeing and any potential health issues. The 6th house shows how you manage health, work, and daily routines. Understanding its placements helps optimise wellness, revealing health strengths, weaknesses, and ideal habits.
The person's health is specifically attached to their ability to advance at work and their work environment, thus any trouble that shows up in the 6th house can adversely affect one's general sense of wellbeing.
Best Exercises Routines Based on 6th House Sign:
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) Need high-intensity workouts to burn excess energy. Exercises like HIIT, running, weightlifting, kickboxing etc
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) Thrive with slow, steady exercises. Yoga, strength training and hiking could be good for these signs.
Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) Need variety and movement-based workouts (dance, cycling, Pilates, social sports)
Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) Benefit from fluid and mindful movements and exercises like swimming, tai chi, yoga and breath work could be suitable for these signs.
Scorpio 6th house
Scorpio here suggests intense health cycles—you might experience periods of great vitality followed by periods of deep exhaustion. Your body may be highly regenerative, but you could also be prone to chronic or hidden health issues that take time to diagnose.
The reproductive system, bladder, and detoxification organs (like the colon) may need extra care. Since Scorpio is about deep transformation, alternative healing methods (detox, therapy, or even energy healing) can be beneficial. Work-related stress can deeply affect your health, making emotional resilience crucial.
Since Scorpio's energy is intense, powerful, and transformative, their works could be ones that channel emotions into movement (boxing, weight lighting, martial arts), include intense yet therapeutic activities (hot yoga, sauna therapy, swimming) and promote deep relaxation after exertion (breath-work, stretching and massage therapy could be beneficial for this placement)
Libra 6th house
When Libra is in the 6th house, individuals with this placement may struggle with blood sugar imbalances, for example too much sugar or processed foods could cause fatigue, skin breakouts, or hormonal fluctuations.
Hormonal & sugar sensitivities can be an issue for this placement as Libra/Venus energy can affect hormone balance leading to issues like acne, bloating, or weight fluctuations. Digestive Issues may arise from emotional stress. Health can be affected by toxic relationships, work stress or emotional imbalance.
Libra in the 6th house suggests social or aesthetically pleasing workouts like dance classes, group fitness activities or workouts with a friend, this could help with staying committed. Avoid overly aggressive, harsh workouts as you need harmony, not exhaustion, and
As Libra is ruled by Venus, this means that beauty and wellness and a solid skincare routine, massages or even aromatherapy outdoors improve both physical and mental health. Creative outlets like painting, listening to music or design can reduce anxiety & improve wellbeing.
Aquarius 6th house
When Aquarius is in the 6th house, your health and daily habits are unconventional and unpredictable and people with this placement might struggle with sticking to routine for too long before getting bored.
Holistic or alternative health practices could be interesting such as herbal medicine, biohacking or cutting edge wellness trends.
Aquarius rules circulation, the nervous system and lower legs like the ankles, calves, shin, watch for issues like restless leg syndrome, poor circulation and random energy crashes. Also Aquarius being ruled by Uranus, there can be sudden or unexpected health issues.
Individuals with Aquarius in the 6th house need to create a flexible health routine and incorporate variety to keep things engaging. Movement based activities like trampolining, cycling or dancing can be good in supporting circulation.

So if they already have some human cooking/baking recipes (Jamil and Trey), basic ingredients that require some processing (cheese, vinegar) How do the twst people not have a cooking culture?
Cause like sashimi, carpaccio and beef tartare are still raw so like the monsters with a preference for raw meat would still be good
They got those from Humans of the past. Humans taught them how to make those, and some even taught several to cook, but it is not a widely available or taught practice. Only the very elite or a line of artisans can even make them. Those that can make them, can make them in a fairly decent amount but it is not widespread.
There is also the question of necessity. Is it necessary to cook things and prepare things they could have raw? Some- like Gnolls and Boar Minotaurs- can eat bone and digest bone-shards. Fawns and Satyrs eat almost everything they can get ahold of and some things that shouldn't be consumed. Why bother making a salad when you can bite into a head of lettuce, and eat a few tomatoes and call it good? They don't need to, so they typically don't waste the energy. Idia knows about cooking because of his ancestors closeness to Humans of the past. Vil just eats a mixture of fruits, nectars, grains, small animals, and various dried insects. Jamil has to know how to cook because Kalim likes cooked food despite not needing to eat.
Trey is from a family of artisans and knows how to make certain pastries and sweets. These artisan families run businesses that are extremely lucrative but do not have a far reach.
Not many bother to cook things or prepare them together as a meal. That is wasted effort and energy on something unnecessary to most. Countries that had denser Human populations had a higher amount of monster species learning from them certain artisanal skills.
Sam is unique in that Shadowfolk come from a very hostile environment that requires everything to be warmed over a fire to remove extremely aggressive magic based bacteria from the food. There is no light where he is from due to a permanent and lasting spell said to be a curse from the gods. Life thrives there, but it is all dangerous. Most Shadowfolk have created quite a few recipes without the influence of Humans due to the hostile lands being deadly to Humans and really only suitable for those that evolved to live there. It is also the only place Shadowfolk can truly live comfortably because of their light sensitivity that even moonlight hurts them if they aren't enshrouded, so most don't leave home and spread their knowledge.
There is one instance of the non-Human species taking the learned cooking skill taught directly by Humans and improving upon it from the primary artisanal skill, and that is the Fae. Once they learned how to make alcohol, they improved, enhanced, and improvised to make it stronger. Fae have higher tollerance than others for alcohol and wanted it to be stronger.

how do I learn to love my appearance? I know it won’t matter if other people think, it matters what I think. So how do I improve my self concept about my appearance?
HOW TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU VIEW YOURSELF (APPEARANCE)
!disclaimer! Please be patient with yourself when learning how to love yourself, and remember that being discouraged and down is all a part of the process.
UNDERSTAND THE WAY YOU VIEW YOURSELF. Do you tend to view yourself as inferior, or do you think you’re heavily flawed? Write out everything that you think about yourself, anything that comes to mind.
Then go back and re-read everything. See what is true, or something you have been conditioned to believe and why. Most of the time, our perspective of ourselves is skewed due to many external factors. This activity will help to see which parts of ourselves we see in someone else’s POV.
TAKE A STEP AWAY FROM THE MIRROR. When you want to improve your perspective of how you look, avoid taking selfies, looking at old photos and prolonged looks in the mirror for maybe a week or fortnight. It’ll help to ground yourself appearance-wise, as you’ll realise that regardless of your attractiveness, it’s possible to live without having to reassure yourself of how attractive you are.
ACCEPT YOUR FLAWS. You don’t have to embrace them and tell yourself that you love your flaws so much, but just accept the fact that they’re there. It’s okay to dislike parts of ourselves, but we should acknowledge flaws from a place of love, not hatred.
GIVE YOUR APPEARANCE A BIGGER PURPOSE. Your appearance doesn’t just have to be for aesthetics, it can serve you in different ways. For example, your eyes help you to read your favourite books and your stomach digests all this yummy food.
Your physical features should not cause you guilt or self-hate, like I said, acknowledge your flaws from a place of love.
YOUR SOUL IS THE MOST ATTRACTIVE FEATURE OF YOU, and no one else can have a soul and mind that is even remotely similar to you. Instead of worrying about how pretty your face or body looks, worry about how pretty your soul is. Are you nourishing it and allowing it to flourish, or is it slowly rotting in your vessel?
Once your soul starts to flourish, it will reflect on your vessel(body), and you will notice a difference.
STUDY YOUR MIND. If you can, take a small notebook and pen everywhere or write on your phone as soon as you get a negative thought about your appearance. If that is too difficult, then write a tally about how many times youve thought that way.
At the end of the day, look at your findings and see what may have triggered this thought to occur. Have you always thought this? Was someone else saying something that conditioned you to believe a certain way? Does your current environment encourage this way of thinking?
RECOGNISE A NEED FOR A RE-BRAND. Sometimes when we feel unsatisfied with the way we look, it could be that this is us internally craving a re-brand into our higher self.
Maybe you’ve kept the same style for 5 years and you realise it’s not so flattering, or maybe you feel like your style isn’t in alignment with your ideal self. Whatever the reason, ask yourself if a rebrand is a good idea for you.
Done! This was difficult to write, but I’m proud of the way it turned out. I hope you can take away at least one thing and take care of yourself! ♡
