EEEYYYY I JUST GOT A THOUGHT! well, many thoughts!!

There was one person thay I saw on Tumblr who said that maybe victim was so brutal towards TCO because he and TDL were the ones who destroyed that farm village where victim was, burned his people etc, And I was thinking about it since then.

BECAUSE MAYBE WE'LL GET TO SEE CHOSEN AND DARK AGAIN, AND MAYBE FROM DIFFERENT SIDE THIS TIME?! Cuz you know, we saw only some pics of the cyberattacks thay happenned, in the flashback ep. We never got to see one actually happenning, you know, in fully animated version. IF the theory about those two guys destroying that village was correct, we could see Chosen from completly other perspective, not as a cool, stoic older stick with powers, not as a small, tamed, aggressive stick, But from the perspective of his prey, as an overpowered terrorist. I feel like many people just straight up ignored or forgot that Chosen was a terrorist too, and simply accepted that fact with Dark because we saw him killing sticks anyways, he looks like he was able to do it unlike Chosen. I feel like this could turn the tables around Chosen and victim, since you know, They thought victim did that just for the sake of feeling strong, in control, or just for fun. Just for the same reason Chosen did his part in the rampages, atleast at the beginning. Only to feel in control after five years of enslavement. Powerless, just like victim did. We'd see him "coping", just like we propably saw victim do in "The Box".

Well, If that's what happenned (I mean the fact of them destroying the village, not my Choseny theory yapping), We still don't know when that would happen. It could be one of the late ones, and then Chosen wouldn’t be so happy to take part in killing and destroying, atleast not as much as Dark did. Let's remember that ONLY between AvA 8 (The Showdown) and AvA 9 (Wanted) we have around FIVE years to fill up with something

And the last flashback, from the Newgrounds, was...who knows when. It's still a big time hole, so that's why I think that this theory is right haha. I don't know how many time takes to build company THIS BIG as victim did, but we're talking about the time around 2011 to 2023(but imo, 2021 max, I was taking the "Wanted" ep. date) so 12 years.

(I feel kinda like I started to write an Essay on a totally different topic now, but I'm too lazy to delete that part so deal with me.)

I will continue sticking to my theory PREDICTION that I have been holding onto since before S3 premiered, since S2 as a matter of fact

This book spoils the entire plot (not just Sydcarmy).

Now, after having watched S3 and knowing that, as of right now, they are only yet to shoot S4's ending, the last 2 eps, which is going to be the series finale (they haven't shot it yet because they wanted to avoid spoilers and are still working on the final drafts of the scrips as I mentioned here months ago), I can safely say that means it's all still pointing at what the book is hinting at → a huge game changer midseason and an even huger setback right after that makes us all think the game is over. But it is not.

Overall, S3 was a big setback for the whole plot, so now all that's missing is the last-minute turnaround the book talks about.

IMO the game changer will be "The Sydcarmy confession" / "Clairmy break up", not sure in what order but would make more sense to have Carmy break up for good with the C person BEFORE coming clean with Syd, not after, but he's messy so IDK about that, all IK is that it's gonna happen and that's enough for me. I also think Carmy will not do it alone, he will get help. That is why I came up with my Cyrano theory, my Sydcarmy team for the gold theory, etc. All those theories can basically be summarized in the ones who could help him are Luca, Sugar, Richie, Jimmy, and EVENTUALLY, not at first, even Emmanuel and Donna. I wanna believe that Marcus and Tina will be Sydcarmy's cornerbacks, HOWEVER, that may be in the restaurant but outside the restaurant, Richie will be Carmy's voice of conscience because that is what he already is:

And probably Marcus will be Syd's.

Again, IDC about the minutia, I just know they both will need everyone's help not to give up on each other and they will get it one way or the other, and at some point, it will look like it's over, but that's not gonna be the case. Ultimately it doesn't really matter where the help comes from, but as the book says it's definitely gonna be a TEAM EFFORT, he won't grow a pair all by himself, he will need nudges and pushes from ppl who know Syd is the best thing that ever happened to him.

Anyway, that is not gonna go well. And then... at the end, last minute just like the book spoils: They are gonna win!

i don’t think Agatha actually figured out who teen is, i think another spirit or something also escaped in the trial and is possessing her. because all through this show and wandavision, Agatha has flair and sense of humor and in that last scene, she was just…mean. not to mention whatever was going with her powers right before that. plus i don’t see how she could’ve suddenly figured out who he is, when just last episode she had no idea, and he doesn’t have any obvious connection to Wanda unless you already know. so i think something, either dead or from the multiverse, that knows about Wanda and Billy is possessing her.

also this trial didn’t even really make sense?? the last two got solved by everyone working together and connecting, whereas this one was so sudden with no resolution and the last scene of the episode felt like some outside force was hijacking the trial, because there was no real ending to the trial.

in this episode Imogen:

Took off her circlet. You know, that one that finally gave her peace and quiet, that soothed her constant pain and anxiety, and that gave her the confidence and energy to get back to fully feeling comfortable on her own skin after years. That’s the one. She just took it off.

Told laudna that she was disgusted by the fact that delilah was always watching them. You know, something that laudna fully has no control over whatsoever.

Admitted that she felt like she’s “tainted” and that the gods have been ignoring her for her entire life, in spite of her trying over and over to reach them. So she doesn’t really want to save them.

Mentioned being genuinely scared of meeting Liliana again. Totally not a problem, I’m sure nothing bad will happen there. Specially not in the next couple of episodes.

Said some unfair stuff to fearne, that I genuinely think is coming from somewhere else entirely, and I hope we circle back to eventually.

There is a universe in which i was caught up properly on CR whenever what the fuck went down and Imogen verbally and definitively declared that- after everything leading up to this and the back and forth and indecision- that she'd be willing to take down her mom if need be. and i would have been deeply insufferable and writing 20+ separate meta posts and liveblog yelling posts and shitposts. This is not that universe so instead we will put this post here where i can have wildly uninformed (aka 20 eps behind) Emotions about it until someday i actually catch up.

(I know. i accidentally wrote potentially wildly off base/deeply out of date meta again. what can i say. i like shaking the concept of An Imogen (even if it is Outdated Imogen) in a jar. sorry.)

Because i was watching long enough, I think, to see Imogen in the throes of the hope for something better, to understand that Imogen was viewing her mom was a figure and an idea and an answer, that would make things easier. Her mom was- gone, so early. And so her mom, in her mind, was not a person she was an idea, and there was so much hinged on that! Dogged determination and anger at her father and a deep seated dislike of the powers in her hands and head even as they gave her a guilty rush. There were promises there that maybe no one else had made, but Imogen believed. Things built up. Expectations made. Lore crafted, even unconsciously, around someone who was, yes, important to Imogen, but more importantly: Missing. Gone. A blank slate to be filled in. A promise of an answer guide to open questions.

And then she meets her mom, and Liliana Temult goes from a figure to a person- with all the bells and whistles and rough edges. She meets her mom and her mom turns her away. Tells her to run. Tells her she should go. Tells her to leave.

And Imogen doesn't. In the same way she kept visiting libraries, keps asking, kept pushing for answers when it was just about her magic and her headaches and the voices. Imogen always, always wants to know. She keeps digging, she keeps trying, she reaches out, over and over and keeps trying to touch this figure in mist until she's real under her hands, and. Evidence piles up- of deeds gone wrong, blood on her hands, a figure standing next to Otohan (her friends bodies scattered, lifeless, around Otohan). She keeps reaching out, keeps trying, and is rebuffed, over and over. Things get worse and the skies get redder and magic goes dead and she's still- unsure, because what if there's a better reason, what if there's a better way, there has to be a reason, why. There has to be, right- maybe if- maybe. Maybe-

Its just like- a person as an idea. As a symbol. As a promise. One you build yourself up around and towards. One you talk about, not talk to.

And then the fog clears, and they are a human.

(And she's your mom, and she's not what you imagined. She's done you wrong. She's done your loved ones wrong. She's hurt you. She's hurt others. She's going to keep hurting you. She is going to keep hurting everyone. She is too far gone to reason with. She is not listening to you. She is flawed. She is. dangerous. She looks so much like you. You look just like her. You are so similar. You have always known you were similar. You always hoped. You.

Are not her. You are not hers. She is not yours. She is not who you thought she was. She was always someone else. So are you.)

Imogen walks through the bases pretending to be her mother. Liliana is a known face- a powerful one, a figure people fear. A well known silhouette. Imogen slips into the shadows of it, sometimes, when it serves her, but we know- she knows- its all an act. All a lie.

Liliana, after all, is alive, and well, making choices that she believes in and fighting for things with a dogged determination maybe only matched by her daughter.

Imogen knows this. I think. There's a part of her that maybe wishes that wasn't the case.

"There is no loyalty with this blood." And after all- only living people bleed.
