Hey Everyone it certainly has been a while But I decided to make the Grand Master List which will have the links to each master list leading to their respective stories and shows.

Random Doctor Who headcanons

Before she settled down with Ace, Mel Bush had a friends-with-benefits situation with Yasmin Khan for a couple of years in the mid 2020s. Hence Ryan making endless jokes about Yaz liking older women.

Tegan and Nyssa are still unironically crushing on each other despite being married for several years.

Sergeant Benton was the only aroace person at UNIT for a long while and, as a result, was the only one who never got pulled into the organisations complicated polycule situation.

Kate Stewart had a crush on the Thirteenth Doctor that she attempted to be subtle about but didn't really succeed. She was rather disappointed after they regenerated.

Liz Shaw and Jo Grant woke up in bed together on multiple occasions, usually the morning after the UNIT Christmas party.

The Doctor didn't realise Tegan and Nyssa had been in love until their Thirteenth incarnation.

The Ninth Doctor once bumped into Martha Jones and took an immediate shine to her. However, to avoid any potential paradoxes, Martha had to sadly decline his offer to go travelling.

Nyssa of Traken has almost no tolerance towards earth alcohol and has a habit of pushing Tegan up against nearby walls after she'd had a single drink.

Rose Tyler once came across the Fifth Doctor and co. She immediately started flirting with the bewildered cricket man, causing Tegan and Nyssa to be very concerned about Rose's mental state.

Donna Noble never understood the romantic appeal of the Tenth Doctor. She does, however, understand why Yaz fell in love with the Thirteenth Doctor.

Yaz once bumped into Clara Oswald. She found her deeply troubling on an emotional level.

Ryan Sinclair has been flirted with by various male historical figures including Mark Anthony, Alcibiades, Alexander the Great, Freddie Mercury and Oscar Wilde. He has yet to notice, much to Yaz's amusement.

When Ian and Barbara returned to London in 1965, they were shocked to learn that everyone at the school had assumed they had eloped.

Victoria Waterfield briefly worked as a liaison for UNIT and later became close friends with Liz Shaw.

The Eighth Doctor once tried to flirt with a bewildered Sergeant Benton during a timestream cross.

Who taught the Doctor how to swim?

Bear with me on this one. As we've seen, Gallifrey has a lot of desert, and I'm assuming it is quite hot there because of that. However, Gallifreyans often dress in many layer and are all covered up, probably for modesty purposes.

I cannot imagine they have swimming pools to teach these guys how to swim, especially since they would have to swear swim suits (the exposed skin *shudder*).

Now, I could be completely wrong (since it is physically impossible to consume the entire DWEU), but that gives me the impression that the Doctor didn't learn to swim on Gallifrey. He probably didn't until he came to Earth, the famous water world, but who would teach him?

In my headcanon, the ones who taught him were, well, teachers themselves. I think Ian and Barbara would have noticed eventually on their adventures that neither he nor Susan could swim and take it upon themselves to instruct them.

Thinking about that scene from shameless where mickey and ian are takin that bath together and mickey is like “😐this is gay” and ian says “WE’RE gay 😐😐😐” and mickey is just like “…i don’t think im this gay..🤨😐”

Anyway, It reminds me of timlex. Post series recovery arc, theyre still healing but are in a relationship and figuring that out too. They try some pretty stereotypical coupley things, kinda end up not being super into any of them. It feels weird to act like a normal couple when there is nothing at all normal about them.

Some parts are sort of normal though.

Alex has healed enough to where he can speak above a whisper now. He still has at least one piece of gauze taped up to his throat, because not all of those slashes are healing evenly, but Tim has taken it upon himself to be the one to redress it and clean it every day. He’s scrapped up a job, and so in the morning while hes getting ready for work, Alex will tiredly wander into their cramped bathroom. He’ll lean against the counter while Tim alternates brushing his teeth and very gently taping a piece of gauze over his throat. Alex will stare at his face, not managing eye contact, but the look is still intimate.

He’ll have fixed up some kinda TV dinner for the two of them to share by the time Tim gets home. After they eat, Tim removes the bandage and steps into the shower, Alex right behind him. Attached by the hip whenever theyre home together. Alex scrubs soap into Tim’s thick dark hair while Tim just holds him. Leaning his entire weight on Alex, chin on his shoulder and arms around his waist. The hot water spraying like bullets into his back. Sharing a few tender kisses. Touching and softly feeling each other. No words needed.

Those quiet moments have become a fixed part of their routine.

So, they arent quite “normal” enough for rose petals and champaigne and a bubble bath, but they find plenty of other ways to be really fuckin gay and stupidly into wach other.

Ben confiding in Ian in private in the quiet haze of a party, makes them promise not to tell anyone — not until he’s sure. Ian promises. Ben thinks Ian will be too drunk to remember the conversation anyway. Ian remembers, but says nothing.

Ben leaps into a woman’s body for the first time and Ian isn’t there. Ian fees guilty about it for days but Ben doesn’t remember, just wonders why it felt so right.

Ben leaps into a woman’s body for the second time. Ian is watching closely and Ben seems to be feeling super comfortable in the experience already. Ben is starting to remember.

Ben leaps into a woman’s body for the fourth time and he feels amazing about it. Ian is happy for him but has to pay more attention to Jenn to make sure she’s okay.

Ben leaps into a woman’s body for the fifth time. This time Ian gets to hologram. They both remember.

“It’s a good look for you.” Ian tells him, with a pointed, gentle smile.

Ben realises that Ian remembers.

If I may add something, I love the idea of Rose meeting Yaz whilst working at UNIT and developing a slight crush on this cool older woman who's really kind and helps her out.

The Doctor falls off their chair when they find out.

So Rose already has the Doctor as an Uncle and mad auntie Mel but I guarantee you as soon as the rest of the companion group meets her they adopt her as well. Rose suddenly has six extra aunts and four sets of grandparents and more keep appearing. Tegan and Nyssa love her. Jo Grant sees the stuffed animals she makes and buys ten. Ace is bonding with her over Gender. (And when she hears about Rose’s bullies offers to chase them down with her baseball bat). Ian and Barbara have her over for tea. Martha comes over for dinner at least once a week. Donna isn’t sure who all these people are but Rose is happy and so is the Doctor so she’ll take the twenty or so extra family members.

Ian was excited while messaging his long-distance lover they told them about how their day went at the facility and how they missed talking to you since it was only a certain time of day that they would be able to message you since your time zones are different. you have both been together for a very long time years if we are getting technical and those were the best years you both skype or called but they never once met in person for all those years together.

you were the CEO of a very know 5-star Hotel's around the world and you were currently in another location aiming to create a hotel there which you shared with them smiling. Ian was very proud of you and you both never once were upset when the other couldn't make the calls or even while on face time one or the other would doze off falling asleep hearing the voice of the other.

It was perfect and sometimes you both would talk about what would it be like to be in the arms of the other. Of course, you would giggle when they face time you to watch your favorite movie together and talk about it.

"I love you" Ian was the first to say it and You blushed deeply looking at Ian through the phone and giggling. "well what if I say I love you too" Ian would smile brightly "I would be very happy" that was the day you both confessed your love for each other.

ever since then, you both texted each other at any given time and sometimes at work too.

one day you decided you wanted to do a very nice surprise and you called your main company branch and asked them to book a one-way flight. you also contacted Jenn, Addison, and Magic who luckily for you had some type of social media page you contacted and told them some things about you and Ian and sent them secretly cute videos of them falling asleep while on call or they laughed or singing to you to which Addison melted.

Ian told their friends about you but never in detail, they kept their life pretty private. But the team helped you plan how you can surprise Ian Jenn and offered you to stay at her place until it was time.

"how long will you be staying?" Jenn asked smiling and Addison nods "well i purposely said I need someone to oversee this operation here as i will be opening another hotel in your area which would take a while since it would take three to four years to make meaning i can prolong my stay to spend time with Ian and hopefully you guys to"

Magic chuckles "of course and I'm sure Ian would love that too, i will give you an access ID to our facility and floor so it can be easy for you to enter."

It was Christmas Eve when everyone was working in the facility but Lucky For Addison Ben finished certain leaps and came back holding Addison close to which she let Ben know the details and they decided to use the chamber to hide in. but Ben needed to hide.

so he does smirking, and Magic had sent Ian to troubleshoot ziggy. you were amazed at the place but quickly ran into the chamber and stayed put waiting and smiling you felt your heart beat faster as you were finally going to see them in person.

Ian came back and Addison was there by the computer "Ian can you take over for me to talk to ben...I need a moment please" Ian felt bad and nodded "yes okay ill uh go for you stay strong Ben will come back in time" they said before walking off

the team slowly followed them and ben pops out of his hiding spot to see what would happen and of course holding Ian and Jenn your phone to record this perfect moment.

Ian walked in and his heart almost stopped looking at you "y-y/n you're... you're here is that" they laughed slightly nervous and excited "your really-" you cut them off by running towards them and hugging them tightly trying not to get too emotional at how happy they were to see you and you pulled away as they smile brightly at you and you both shared your first kiss and it was the best moment you could ever ask for.

"I wanted to give you my early Christmas gift" you giggle and Ian chuckles and looked down and back at you shyly "i love it y/n h-how long are you here for?"

"a pretty long time for now love and I want to spend every single moment with you" you kissed them once more and they respond to the kiss.

Headcanon accepted!

I feel as if the week of "The Giggle" was just the weirdest time for the rest of the companion support group.

Ryan, Graham and Ace spent the entire week trying to stop the extended Khan family from micromanaging Ryan's marriage to Sonja.

Dan had to stop his parents hitting each other with pans.

Ian and Barbara had to stop their neighbourhoods at the assisted living complex from throwing walking sticks at each other.

Tegan and Nyssa had to cancel their queer book club for that week because a fist-fight almost broke out amongst the other participants.

Jo Grant had to sternly tell her adult grandchildren off for swearing at each other.

Yaz, meanwhile, was on holiday in a small cottage in the peak district with her phone turned off. She had the most relaxed week of her life (and, tbh, she deserved it).

Neither Ian nor Jenn actually know how to dress themselves.

When Magic said they all had to start dressing smart-casual for work now the program was progressing, they both went to Zara and picked out the first outfit pre-made on a dummy that they kinda liked

In fact most of their outfits come straight from shop mannequins

Ian’s much better at dressing themself these days and helps Jenn pick stuff out too, but the habit stuck
