generally you shouldn't write run-on sentences because they get confusing and it doesn't give the reader a break. that doesn't apply to me though my run-on sentences are fun and understandable and they have a rhythm to it that makes you want to keep reading

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

I was thinking about human mortality and how in sci-fi and even fantasy to an extent it’s often that mortality and our powerful survival instinct that makes humanity unique/special

And now I want to make a race who live even shorter lifespans than us. Maybe they only live a decade, maybe only a few years. How would they make the most of that time? What huge developments and miracles could a species create if they barely lived longer than a domestic rodent? What enormous impact could such a tiny thing create?

I often talk about reality checking and going along with it when helping someone deal with delusions, but I felt as if I didn’t really make it clear to what I meant when I said it.

Recently I saw a post similar to “how to sneakily give your delusional friend a reality check when they told you not to” and honestly, that’ll just make us lose trust for you. Because we can tell when you do that.
