Do you think the "Lost Journal Pages" in The Book of Bill are real or forgeries by Bill?

Points for forgeries: There are probably too many inconsistencies in the books in terms of writing style, how Ford is drawn, and other details that don't line up chronologically (e.g. Bill being a secret Muse in J3, but Bill was mentioned more directly in these "lost pages").

Points for real: Throughout The Book of Bill it's often obvious when Bill lies, and thus the book would have showed us clearly if these pages are forgeries. One of the letters from Ford would have blatantly contradicted the information we get in the journal pages; or, Bill would have provided fake pages saying such outrageous things that we’d KNOW Ford couldn’t have possibly written them. We GF fans are probably too hung up on the details than Hirsch himself, who is focussed on creating new narrative for the book.

Points for third option: A compromise between the two options. Maybe those pages were ripped out and burned before Ford tossed the Journals into the Bottomless Pit. And so Bill is recreating these burned pages for us to read through. As such, there is perhaps a touch of Bill's flair in these recreations, but the contents and the events portrayed are still real.

Points for the fourth option: It's better to just sit back and relax and not engage into the discourse. So what if some details don't line up? It's still new content for us to enjoy.

I've been thinking about this for a while now, especially after watching X-Men 97... I know this won't happen, but if, if Charles Xavier one day agrees with Magneto and Magneto's ideals, (under the assumption that cherik is canon), how do you think Erik would react??

In X-Men '97 Episode 9, Magneto gives the X-Men a choice, asking them if they will fight with him. We all know that Rogue and Roberto choose Magneto, but what if at that moment Charles chose to follow Magneto too? What do you think Erik's reaction would be? Again, assuming that cherik is canon and that these husbands have been fighting about this for decades...

And now for the first time, a poll idea that got sent to me via request, from @bringerofworlds! Thanks so much for sending in this question, I hadn't heard of these stories myself until I got this ask, so I'm excited to see how many of you all might have read them or know of them yourselves.

@bringerofworlds told me both of these stories were written with the permission of the ACD estate, and blend in with canon pretty seamlessly, so these are definitely going on my to read list! Would love to hear everyone's thoughts if you've read these also.

Ok, so I've been wanting to give a fandom related drawing challenge like this for a while now, but I knew the UY fandom isn't particularly a big one (on tumblr especially). But we still have very talented and great artists in the fandom and since the remake is currently airing I felt like it would be a good opportunity to do a challenge like this. But first I want to know how many are interested. The below poll is to check whether a decent number would be willing to do the DTIYS challenge so when I post it, it would be won't be for nothing.

Few things to note:

Anyone can do it no matter what your skill level is or whatever the quality of your supplies are.. If you want to do it, go for it!

The image for redrawing would be one of Rumiko Takahashi's official arts. I have one in mind and I made sure it's a simple one as well. I won't say which one it is yet but I'll give a few hints so you could have an idea of how it is. It has both Ataru and Lum, Both of their whole bodies are visible (they are both posing in a classic fashion while sitting down).

Whether I'll make the actual post following this depends on the results of the poll. It doesn't need a majority vote, it just needs a decent number of them.

There is no due date for the challenge, you can do it anytime you want.

The poll is open for a week, the decision will be made according to the results when the poll is closed.
