glinda : so, honestly, i have 2 separate headcanons for glinda’s sexuality that i really like! 1, is that she’s a lesbian suffering from comphet and a want to simply be loved (not projecting what so ever). i just think her and fieyro have a very ‘best friends who just so happen to be lovers energy’ that i love but could easily be Glinda simply wanting someone to love her🥺

on the other hand, i can also totally see her as omni with a preference for women as, she has a lot of love to give to everyone, but womennnnn <33

elphaba : personally, i see her as bi w a preference for women!! we just got a lot of sapphics, and honestly, who can blame them??

i could totally see her as like a demi-girl too, i think that’s pretty fitting!!

fiyero : i have never seen more of a pansexual man in my life. i mean, look at him!! he would gladly make out w anyone, w absolutely no care for what you identify as! plus, in an interview w jonathan bailey, he was talking about labels being such a frustrating thing for fiyero so I could totally see him as just being queer.

in the same vein, i don’t really fiyero thinks about his gender either so like id see him as being ok with any pronouns whatsoever, whatever you’d want to call him is fine by him.

boq : oh would you look at that? another bisexual! and hmmm, yes, another preference for women, sounds about right!

and trans boq is my new favorite thing. does he go on to hate the fact he’s made out of tin? yes but man is now part of his title soooo a win is a win for him!

hi sunny!! here are my personal opinions/headcanons about it. if you or anyone agrees or disagrees, i’d love to hear your thoughts <3

- Honestly, I don’t think he’s into it. My first instinct was that he wouldn’t even go. I think if his girl really wanted to, he’d tag along, but just because he loves being by your side for everything.

- He’s worked really hard on being better with his emotions, and now he works through them as they happen. He’s really made progress with not bottling stuff up anymore.

- Sure, he gets a little angry occasionally - when people jaywalk in front of his car, or when he breaks something accidentally. But it isn’t rage.

- So, I think you encourage him to find the fun!! Sure, we’re not realistically working through any fury fuelled trauma here, but we can have a laugh and a good time.

- You throw the first plate, both of you flinching when it smashes against the wall. Bucky reminds himself to take a breath, that this is something people do for fun now in the 21st century. It isn’t serious.

- You hand him a glass, encouraging him to do as he wishes. He drops it straight down, almost gently. You grin and rest your forehead against his (as best you can with safety goggles on) to give him a little reassurance.

- He throws the next glass with a little more force, against the bottom of the wall. It shatters into a million pieces, and now Bucky’s starting to get it.

- You suddenly have a baseball bat in your hand, which is worrying for him. You’re clumsy on the best of days, and he doesn’t need you knocking yourself out. He’s got a subtle eye on you as you wind your arm back and swing, straight into an old tv set.

- You barely make a scratch. Suddenly he’s laughing, properly laughing, the sound coming from deep in his stomach. You try to look stern but you can’t, not when he’s folded over, tears dripping down his cheeks. All you can do is beam, giggling through your annoyance.

- He takes the bat from you and gives you a look that asks can I? Of course you nod, stepping back. He takes a swing, cracking the entire thing apart. It’s ancient, so it’s tough, built to last.

- Once he’s made a start, he gives the bat back to you. He’s made it much easier for you now, and you break parts of it off with glee. You swing for the screen, then the top, then the sides. It’s smashed into pieces of debris in no time, both of you cackling as you do it.

- Eventually, when you’re both a little sweaty and worn out, you hang up your safety goggles and call it a day.

- “So, what did you think? Another one of my twenty first century fads?”

He laughs, pulling you into his side and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

“As far as your twenty first century fads go, I didn’t mind this one. And you look cute swingin’ a bat around. Maybe we should get you into T Ball.”

You shove at him with your shoulder, rolling your eyes - but you can’t fight the grin on your face.

- Neither of you can deny the way you’re both a little lighter on the way home. Not because you let go of any rage - but because you had fun.

Lee!!!! I hope you don’t mind me dropping into your inbox to say that I finished s2 of The Bear!! 😬😬 (I figured I’d pop in here so that maybe others would want to chat too! - hope that’s fine!)

That final episode was so intense and left me wanting so much more!!! I was hanging onto every second of it and was so invested in it that I was sitting there like 😟 ‘it’s over?’ once the credits started rolling.

The whole storyline of Carmy getting stuck in the walk-in was so intriguing, and I LOVE how everything came out because of it. His conversation with Tina (and the monologue that followed) struck my heart and then his screaming match with Richie felt like it hurt me as well — also sidebar, can we talk about Richie’s growth this season???? I love what his character became so much….I just hope that Carmy didn’t throw that all away 😬👀 I honestly felt bad for Claire too .. oh Carmy and his self-sabotaging 🙃🙃

And Marcus’ phone at the end?!!!! 😩😩😩 I’m holding out hope that that’s not what they’re making us think that it is because I don’t think I can take seeing him hurt like that!!!

Oh and I’m not even going to get into the conversation between Donna and Pete outside the restaurant……I understood her side but half of me was like: go in there and cheer on your children!! ��🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The only part I wish they would have expanded on was what was going on with Sydney at the end … like I understand why she had to rush out there and what was going on but the whole conversation with her dad was very…meh - I wish we would have seen her go back in and then continue on/see how she came out of it …… but I guess that’s why cliff-hangers are put where they are 😩😩

I’m still super invested in this show and I’m super excited to see where they’ll take it next - the restaurant’s pretty much open now…..will it show us how Carmy and Sydney work not to fuck it up?? Or will it go in another, completely different direction?? Either way I’m in for the ride!!

Carmy getting stuck in the walk in so Syd and Richie could seize their moment was amazing 🤩 What a lovely plot twist that perfectly embodies Carmy’s tendency to self sabotage! (I had to giggle a bit as I thought of all the times they told him to call the fucking fridge guy!! 😂😂) It was also the perfect dramatic break up scene with Claire. That voicemail 💔 However, he seems genuinely upset about it so I see him making an attempt at reconciliation at some point in the future, don’t you?

I love love Richie’s growth. How adorable is he when he returns showing off his new style like “I wear suits now!” The whole idea of him remembering the chocolate covered banana story touched me esp bc Carmy always knew he’d be good with people 🥰 And I’m so happy for Tina and Marcus as they continued their culinary journey with enthusiasm. I was afraid we’d lost Ebra tho 😢 and I was smiling so much when he returned! But I really hope all is well with Marcus’ mum. He loves her so much 🥺

Speaking of mums, as usual Donna let her own ego stand in the way of connecting with her children. She’s entertaining and played so well by Jamie Lee Curtis, but I could not despise this narcissistic character more tbh. Thank God for Pete bc he works really hard to pick up the pieces for Sugar. By contrast I actually really liked the scene between Syd and her father, when she goes from vomiting by the bins to hearing his highest praise. That made me teary eyed bc she’d been waiting so long to hear him say he believed in her dream not just being a dutiful, supportive father, but in a genuine, awe filled way.

I have no clue what to expect from a new season, but I’m all in for whatever comes next!

What made you ship it?

This is gonna sound strange, but do hear me out.

My love for this ship evolved from the first time it caught my attention, but to be completely honest it all started with another ship: Diarturia.

After re-watching and re-reading FZ, FSN, and UBW, something kept coming up for me. We all know FZ is an incredible prequel sequel, created with stunning precision to fit the already existing narrative, which is why, even when consuming the series as a whole based on the timeline of events, Arturia's character still makes sense.

Their expert craftmanship made the fact that the 5th HGW is Saber's second attempt a lot clearer. Why? because it brings to the table a theme that was already there and yet not too fleshed out:

Deja vu. Or, in Saber's case, a double deja vu.

For example, this line:

Before Zero, it only means 'oh cool so she's fought spearmen before.' but after Zero, you finally know exactly who she's talking about.

But why do I say it's a double deja vu for her?

Let's begin with the obvious one. The parallels between Cú and Diarmuid are pretty clear. Like you just know Zero Lancer's character was patterned after the existing Lancer, but given another purpose. There are gifsets all over Tumblr that illustrate their similarity too.

BUT Cú and Arturia (ooh it kills me to say this) only just fall short of the borderline flirtatious "I wanna have a glorious fight to the death with you because you're worthy" energy. Furthermore, they meet only briefly.

So where did they get that?

No, but seriously. I don't think this is a coincidence. Diarmuid must have been some sort of amalgamation of Kojirou and Cú, the best of both. And that is also why the previous deja vu point hits harder.

Honestly, when that realization came, I was totally not expecting it. I was supposed to be looking for Diarturia crumbs and instead I found myself another whole-ass cookie. And one that unjustly has barely anything in the fandom, even if we have more straightforward lines like this:

What are your favorite things about the ship?

So, now that you know how I got into shipping this, unorthodox as it seems, I think it's time to move past the parallels and into more solid ground.

Unlike other relationships that are more ambiguous and rely on potential, Kojirou's attraction to her is so in your face, it's refreshing.

Their banter is *chef's kiss*

It's only overshadowed because he so quickly became a gag servant, and ofc because the focus of the anime was Shirou. (Why did they do him like that though, he's actually so cool??? I mean, did Saber truly even beat him?? like???)

Saber comments on his skill with the sword, going so far as to say he outclasses him in swordsmanship. bruh, you can't take that lightly

They both see each other as worthy opponents. She literally tells him he's worthy of her full attention.

Kojirou sees her as the fulfillment of his wish, and Saber bloody actually gets to grant him the fight of his 'life' (FSN and UBW, not HF ;n;) when she couldn't do the same for a certain former rival. She even promises their fight's resolution because it is so important to her to see it through (UBW).

Kojirou really wants that fight, and fairly, without interruption. Which is why in FSN he goes as far as to stop the fight before Rider can spy on Saber's sword. And then later on, literally tells Shirou and Rin he doesn't give a shit about them, he just wants to fight Saber.

When he calls her out on holding back, especially since they're both running out of time, she apologizes and reveals Excalibur so they can fully face each other at full strength. UGH THE CHEMISTRY HGNGNGNGNGN. Also, since he knows this is their last fight, he's giving off "look at me, focus on me, don't think about anything else" vibes.

Also, man, Kojirou Sasaki really be out here serving up blatant eye smex every time they share the screen I swear to god.

Like let me give you a line from UBW 23, 19:08, right after Assassin notices she's damaged his katana

Arturia: Our positions...Assassin...are you... (that's what the subs say but Saber says "kisama" so I read it as "you bastard")

It's...baffling how unknown this ship is like...look at all that material. I mean of course it's going to be trounced in popularity by Shirou x Saber, GilArt, and Diarturia , but it should at least have accumulated enough of a following like Cuturia, for example.

I’m not too sure if this message already got sent, but if it did it was UNFINISHED. BUT, I’m the otter anon or the person that made the journal spreads for high class and maybe I do! I’m not too sure if you remember me, but I sent a message a while back but maybe it got eaten up by tumblr :-(. I haven’t been reading tumblr lately because everything is real busy right now, but when I saw your latest chapter of maybe I do posted I SQUEALED!

Before I talk about my experience, I just want to say that chapter 13 of maybe I do was BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN. It felt so real and raw, if that makes any sense HAHAHA! I could see and feel the amount of time and effort you put into writing this chapter and planning it as well! The plot line of the chapter flowed very smoothly and I just loved how you wrote all about the oc’s emotions and her perspective, but also Taehyung’s perspective. It was interesting to see how Taehyung and OC handled everything! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CHAPTER AND THE STORY IN GENERAL 1000/10!

Well, I’m back in your inbox just to talk about my experience with the chapter because I don’t really have anyone to talk about it to. This chapter TRUELY affected me initially in a bad way, but in hindsight it taught me a valuable lesson that I needed to learn which is good! THIS MAKES IT SOUND MORE SERIOUS THAN IT IS HAHAHAHA! But, before reading I always look at the warnings and I saw depictions of mental health problems, and I was a bit wary to continue because I also have some mental health issues if my own. BUT, I WAS JUST GO EXCITED, I JUST LOVE MAYBE I DO AND ITS ALWAYS A TREAT WHENEVER YOU DO PUBLISH SOMETHING! Anyways, I continued reading, which was my fault, and the first part of the chapter was really hard for me to get through, because it was just all so real and slightly relatable on my end. But, that’s when I learned that I needed to space this chapter out for my own sanity and health. Well, I finally finished and throughout the whole thing I was having an internal battle with if I should continue reading, or pause before I read something that might send me down a spiral again. I’m a big fan of your work, but I guess it’s just something I had to learn, for life in general honestly, that I have to pace things in my life for my own health and sanity!

I just wanted to thank you, even if you only did it indirectly, it was something I really needed. My mental health is something I often ignore, but have myself coming back to a place that I don’t want to be. So, this chapter really affected me in probably a life changing way! I’m kind of just ranting right now, but hopefully this all makes sense when you read it!

Summary: even after two anxiety attacks, chapter 13 was absolutely beautiful in all aspects of plot, writing technique, and all its details! I learned a lesson of pacing for my sanity and health and that Sammy is one hell of a writer for curating one of my favorite stories!

It was a lazy Saturday afternoon when you finally decided to roll out of bed.  Over the blasting AC, you could hear whooshing showers of gunfire and cries of pain.  You rubbed your eyes.  Kenma was probably going at it since early that morning.

You had no idea how he managed to get any sleep.  It seemed like he was constantly gaming.  Not that you had a problem with it, but you did want him to spend time away from the screen once in a while.

Rubbing your eyes, you walked out to the living room to see it empty.  It was only when you opened the door to the room next door that you saw Kenma at his computer, his headset on.  

You noticed the red light on the camera.  He was probably recording a stream.

“Morning,” you murmured.

“Afternoon,” he said without looking away.

You pursed your lips.  “Have you eaten?”

“Was waiting for you,” he replied.

You sighed, an amused smile crossing your face.  Even though he was as “adult” as an adult could be, he was still a simple kid.  It sometimes drove both you and Kuroo completely up the wall, but deep down, you both still loved him.

Maybe you loved him a bit too much.

You settled down in the spare chair beside him after washing up, looking over at the game.  “Hm, looks like you made good progress.”

Kenma only hummed.  

He gave the camera a smile.  “Hey guys, hope you don’t mind, but Y/N’s here.”

Kenma’s eyes widened as you hugged his arm.  The vanilla scent from his hair hit your nose.  You could see a small blush coloring his cheeks as he continued playing.

“Hm...vanilla...”

“What?” he nearly exclaimed.

You laughed.  “Nothing.”

He glanced at the chat.

Another blush made him gulp hard.  “Yeah,” he murmured.  “We’ve been dating since high school.”

Once again, the chat exploded.

“How come we never see you in streams?” you read.  “I’m not really one for the camera, but thank you guys so much for taking care of Kenma,” you said with a shy laugh.  

You blinked at the flow of kind comments.  

“Give him a kiss?” you muttered.  You laughed.  “Maybe later!”

Just as he was about to look, you took his face in your hands, turning his face towards you.  His soft cheeks were squished in your palms, making his lips pucker adorably.

“What are you doing?” he managed to say.  He gently lowered your hands with a small smile.  “I’ll finish this round then we’ll do whatever you want, okay?”

“O-okay.”  You sat back down next to him, leaning your head against his shoulder.  “You’re the best, Kenma.”

He laughed as he continued playing.  “Why are you saying that now?”

“Just because...”

You held onto the sleeve of his Nekoma sweatshirt, watching as his character seemed to dominate in the game.  You felt an odd sense of pride while watching him.

He continued playing quietly before pausing the game.  

“Alright, guys.  Y/N and I are in need of some R&R,” he said into his mic.  “Thanks for tuning in.  I’ll be on tomorrow.”  

He removed his headset and ended the feed.

You looked at him with concern.  “Is it okay for you to do that?  It’s so sudden.”

He nodded.  “Of course.  It’s my stream,” he replied as he turned and collapsed on the couch behind him, stretching.  “Besides, I want to spend time with you.”

Butterflies made your stomach flutter as you averted your gaze.  “You didn’t have to do that.”

You rolled over to rest your head in his lap, gazing up at him with fond eyes.  You could see a small blush coloring his cheeks as he turned to the side.

You wrapped your arms around his hips, closing your eyes as you pulled yourself closer to his warm stomach.  

He made a small sound at the contact, almost like a confused whimper.  His fingers tentatively touched your hair, and you sighed, nestling your face further into the warmth of his sweatshirt.

“Wh-what are you doing?” he said.

“Nothing,” you laughed with a grin.

His cheeks were rosy as he looked away, puffing out his cheeks.  You laughed before sitting up, embracing him in a loose hug as you sat on his lap.  Satisfaction hit, and you closed your eyes happily as he stroked your back, humming in your ear.

There weren’t many moments of peace and quiet, especially since the two of you had nearly completely different schedules.  It was hard to believe the two of you were already in college.  Looking at your life ahead of you was daunting, but you were glad to have Kenma by your side.

“Hungry,” he mumbled.

Your lips brushed across his cheek.  “Poor baby.”  You began backing up on his lap.  “I’ll go make something.”

He pouted as he grasped your wrist, pulling you back into the hug.  

“Five more minutes,” he said softly.  “I haven’t held you in so long.”

You were sure he could feel your heart beating as your chest pressed against his.  His warmth coaxed your eyes to close, eventually falling asleep to his gentle vanilla scent.

Edmond is the type that would reassure you with his words first. He’s not too good when it comes to doing kind actions - if you ask him to eliminate your enemies, then yes, he’s definitely your man. But in this case, he finds that his presence simply being by you is much more helpful than him going off to fight random trash mobs.

If you don’t tell him about the insecurities first, it’s highly likely that he’ll notice it himself. Even the slightest disturbance of your emotions is noticeable to him, but he doesn’t push you for answers when he first notices them. He prefers it that you are the one to tell him that you aren’t feeling your best, or if you have worries that you would like to talk about. He’s scared of pushing you too much to the point where it might end up causing you to break. While at the same time he doesn’t want to wait too long in case it ends up being too late.

When you finally do talk to him though, he’s quick to take you into his arms while letting you ramble about your thoughts. He’ll gently rub circles on your back while attempting to keep you calm while you spill all your thoughts. He can’t help but feel a tad bit helpless that he can’t ease your mind immediately. However, he does reassure you time and time again that you are doing great in your position.

You are not alone in these thoughts, after all, no one person should ever be forced to carry the weight of humanity on their shoulders. But the thing is, you weren’t truly alone. While you were the only Master that was capable of Rayshifting, you had the Servants by your side. Each and every one of them would be there to support you, to help you, and to make sure that your timeline and history will continue onwards. After all, your world was once theirs, and they would do their utmost best by your side as long as you let them. Dantes does admit that he wants you to relax and not take it all upon yourself. Everyone in Chaldea is here to support you and that you aren’t alone.

Arthur Pendragon

Arthur understands your worries a bit better than most, after all, he took it upon himself to save not just the world he was summoned into, but even the worlds that were parallel to it. That’s how he ended up here to begin with.

He notices your insecurities from the way you speak, the subtle hints of body language, and even the way your smiles and reactions seemed so forced. He doesn’t want you to bottle it all in for yourself, after all, it’s rather detrimental to your health to do so.

Arthur’s likely to pull you aside after daily missions and ask you to talk to him. He knows it may be a bit forceful, but he really does want to help you. He can see the resistance and hesitation in your eyes, and it hurts him that you’ve been bottling up your emotions to the point where you couldn’t even talk to him about it.

When he breaches the topic, he’s honestly shocked to see you recoil as though you’ve been hit. His touch is gentle, yet to you it was as scalding as hot water. When he retracts his hand away, now you see the damage that has been done, and immediately break into tears. It was never your intention to be so closed off and distant from him. It hurts you to see him look so hurt from your actions and he wishes nothing more than to turn back time for that one moment.

Though as soon as your tears fall, it’s like the dam was finally opened. Your insecurities flowed out one after another, and it was almost a hysterical moment as you stumbled over each one that overlapped and drowned out your own thoughts. You couldn’t figure out where to start, and honestly everything was just too overwhelming. Knowing that you had so many people relying on you, and even those that were considered “gone” were relying on you for their lives. Your insecurities ate away at you and threatened your sanity.

Arthur gently takes you into his arms as soon as you break down, and you’re quick to hold onto him for support. It felt… somewhat more relieving to have someone hold onto you and tell you that things were going to be okay. He waited for you to let everything out before offering some words of reassurance. He knew just how hard it was to take such a heavy burden upon oneself, but he reminds you that you aren’t truly alone. After all, he’s here for you, and so are Mash and Da Vinci and the rest of the Chaldea staff.

He does understand why you feel so isolated despite the great friends and support that you have surrounding you. The role was one that only you could fill. No one else could play your role if you ended up failing - there was no back up. He knew just how important this was to the world and to you. While he knows his words may not do much quell your insecurities, he does drop to one knee and vow to you that his sword and life will be yours until the very end of your journey.

He’s also a considerate person, for the most part, still treating his rivals kindly, so it’s nice to have someone similar to him like that. Iwaizume also appreciates that you include everyone. While his mean expressions may seem to show different, Iwaizumi has a caring heart, and does his best to treat everyone equally. He also finds it sweet how you compliment people. Though he may be surprised if you compliment him on something small, say if he wore a bracelet or such, but will honestly be impressed. He doesn’t mind the compliments you give him, but will look on in slight disappointment if you start to compliment Oikawa. He’d never blame you though, of course, always opting to smack Oikawa should his ego get a little too boosted. Once he sees you call others (cough, maybeOikawa, cough) out for rudeness, he knows that you’re best friend material. Should the time come, he doesn’t hesitate in assisting you in calling out a jerk, and will sometimes offer fist bumps or high fives after telling them off. He’s blunt as well, so he’ll have absolutely no issue with the way you word things. Plus, if he ever sees you struggling to stick up for yourself, he’ll act just as fast. He’s got a gruff exterior, and isn’t afraid to use his words to make himself seem more intimidating. He thinks that it’s really cool that you play volleyball! If you’re to ever ask to practice with him, he’ll gladly accept, and help you know if there’s anything you need to improve. Iwaizumi will also be interested in your other interests, probably learning a thing or two about crystals from Oikawa. Moments like those, he may let Oikawa do more of the talking, and will sit and listen to the two of you discuss them. On the topic of Oikawa- Iwaizumi is very understanding of your perfectionist mindset. He’s gotten used to Oikawa’s, and will do his best to make sure you’re staying healthy, both mentally and physically. Iwa-chan also tries to push the fact that you shouldn’t be too lenient! If someone does you wrong and assumes all is well, Iwaizumi will not hesitate to let them know otherwise, and does his best to make sure you know that as well!! He cares for you, and doesn’t want his friend to be pushed around <3
