other times he will come home, finding you laying on the sofa with his son almost asleep on top of you. he picks jack up, the child mumbling a soft, “hi daddy” before he’s whisked away to be put to bed. shortly after aaron comes back, tie undone and sleeves rolled up to his elbows. you’ve moved to the kitchen, leaning over the counter, picking at an orange. he moves behind you, not at all hiding the way he’s looking at your shorts, the fabric not even trying to cover your ass cheeks.

you stand, back pressed to his chest, watching him in the reflection on the microwave door as you smile, sickly and sweet, almost innocent. his hands are sliding over your hips and you sigh, “hi daddy”

you’re so incredibly right, too ?? quinn just loves you so much, he hates to see you upset at all, and of course that includes how tired and sad you tend to get when you’re burnt out. so you’d better believe that if this boy can be there with you in person when you’re feeling bad, he’s doing literally everything he can think of to make you feel better — ordering or making your favorite food for dinner, telling you shitty jokes to try and get you to laugh at how bad they are, cuddling you so tight and rubbing your back if you’re okay with touch — and even if he’s away for a game he’s on facetime as much as he can be, still making bad jokes and telling you how much he loves you and how amazing you are, reminding you how proud of you he is and trying to remind you to take breaks because you need them.
