How did I not realize in the (checks google) over a year since Screen Violence released that Asking for a Friend is a DEEPLY Meetra song (probably deeply Exile in general)?

I could copy paste all the lyrics right here but like "I sunk some ships with selfish lips/and it all came back to me", "I cheated and I lied/but I meant it when I cried" "and the mess we made on Fridays gave me Sunday on my knees/but you still matter"

Even just the conceit of 'asking for a friend' when the song is clearly in first person and there's no question of covering up that all of this is a confession, but still there's that desire to deflect.

That's my (emotionally damaged and flawed) girl right there.
