Looking at this, there's something about this that tells me, "there's no way generative AI could have made this." Of course, I never assumed it was —  it's 100% human-made — but from what little I've seen of AI-made comics, it seems AI can't make inventive panel composition. It's just generic square/rectangle-shaped full-painting panels one after the other. Here, every page has creative composition of some sort.

The more I look at this, the more I realize just how much skill and creativity in various aspects of comic-making went into it. The backgrounds, the backgrounds-behind-backgrounds, the pyramid-stack of panels (page 2, of progressively bigger panels), the motion exaggeration, the illusion-of-motion with Isabeau's hand...I could go on.

P.S. Those are the beautiful hands of someone who must have practiced drawing hands a lot.

could you imagine if everyone pretty quickly figures out Loops identity but doesn’t mention it because it’s rude to talk about who someone was before they Changed? like Odile finally reveals to the rest of the party that loop was SECRETLY SIFFRIN THE WHOLE TIME!!! and everyone’s like “madame that’s very rude you should apologize” because of course they already figured it out, people they know go through changes all the time, they know how to spot a friend that looks different
