there was a guy in my module last term who only showed up once, so whenever he missed class, i would send him notes etc per his request. and i was nice to him because of course i would be!!

but he got kinda odd and clingy and then my aunt died and i had to come home early and didn’t reply for a while bc of that, but this boy would Not Let It Go. he texted me every single day in increasingly uncomfortable ways, demanding to know where i was etc. and because of that i decided to just stop replying and hope he goes away.

this was in december. he’s now found my school email, my personal email and my instagram and are sending me BIBLES about how “perturbed” he is by my absence, how it’s his “greatest regret” he didn’t get to see me again, how he “desperately wants to get to know me better”

why why WHY are men like this. even if they mean well, do they just have no regard for boundaries? kindly leave me alone.
