sometimes u need to show up late for a play bc ur not needed for the first half and listen to the audio of the stage while sitting in the break room until break starts and u can get to ur place and realise that u can perfectly visualise all the scenes. and then u need to lose ur mind bc they still keep shifting minor details and u need to see everything and why can't u quote all three hours of complicated play yet and oh fuck those scenes STILL slap

One of the most brilliant things Starkid ever did was introduce Jon Matteson in a show where he didn't sing for like 90% of it so we could see his acting talent and then save his vocal talent as a big reveal at the end

did you watch epic materialize as a project, and hope to experience it again someday? were you late to the party, and wished that you could've been there since the beginning?

musician grace yurchuk on tiktok (also found on instagram and youtube) is in the process of making a julius caesar musical!!!! it's based on the shakespeare play, but supplemented with historical facts. a concept album is in development, after which she plans to get the musical onto the stage!
