certainly feeling some things about the fact that simon. bullied edwin, yes, because he clocked him being gay. but not out out of hatred for him because of it. instead it was because he thought edwin was cute and felt sad and confused by edwin not paying attention to him. because simon is also gay. that is some beautiful and tragic storytelling and such a good way to come back around and give edwin some amount of closure on that chapter of his life wow

Can’t decide if I want Nina to have slept with Barto (with an open relationship in place. No cheating or baggage here) to make it possible that he’s the father or not. On the one hand: it would be a bit funny if neither kid or killer are the dad and Barto was a relatively fun but ultimately just “fine” one night stand. They even used protection. There really SHOULDNT have been a kid at all, but several things just sprung into place and Barto kept that condom too long in his wallet and it got porous. Also everyone would be cool with it. Barto is like a weird uncle to the kid at most and Killer and Kid are both very adamant that “Nah, this is OUR kid. Nobody cares about blood relations here we love Nina and we love our weird, sharp toothed baby.”

… on the other hand Barto and Nina feel like they would get along swimmingly without being attracted to each other. The bitemarks after Utas concert were a result of them getting extremely stoned together and Nina rolling over onto Bartos stomach like “Yo… yo… Barto. i wish the webcomic had shown just a little bit more of what happened in the two months between serazade asking for julian's hand and the wedding because it is so heartwarming <3

right after serazade asked to marry julian, they had a family meeting in the middle of the night (including lloyd who was barely awake for it) where the count asked both julian and serazade separately if they were both sincere in their respective declarations of love.

and when they both said they were the count was immediately supportive of them, even taking on the task of asking for the permission of both the queen and the sultan for the marriage.

like. this is a man who by his own words was often to soft hearted and indecisive to be a good lord. and yet when it came to his son's happiness he didn't doubt for one second to take action and wrote to two monarchs to get the permission they needed. he could've easily let lloyd take the lead, reasoning that he already had a connection with both of them, but he didn't!! he stepped forward and did his duty as father without any hesitation or doubts!!
