Oh gosh this is hard because I love them both the same just for different reasons. Like botw Link and Zelda have the rivals to friends to lovers arc going on, and their adorableness with each other, their bonding over shared trauma and pressure. I’m not kidding when I say I squeal over those memories. I just adore them your honor

Ed and Winry on the other hand are childhood friends to lovers (one of my FAVORITE tropes). And idk they’re just simultaneously so hilarious and annoying to each other and so soft and loving that it kills me. Like the scene after Winry broke open Ed’s watch? Or the “your hands weren’t meant to kill” scene? Or when Ed’s literally bleeding out and basically says “welp I can’t die cause Winry’s gonna cry sad tears and I hate seeing her in pain”???? I mean THE FEELS. Also I love how it was teased from like episode two that they had crushes on each other. But they’re both dorks so of course they didn’t figure it out til much later 😅
