Ok so I just wanna ramble on about the Nahobino forms, it's something I've always ALWAYS thought about and loved since base game but SMTVV kind of showed something I found interesting…

Anyways let's just start off with our silly beautiful duo Bino,, Kei? Vkun?? We'll stick with Vkun for simplicity's sake and Aogami. It's very evident that their Nahobino form looks WAYYY more like Vkun than Aogami himself or his origins, Susano-o (Which,, who knows what he would've looked like in this so,, idk) BUT!! the details of Aogami are still there! The blue hair, the details on their body, and well, Aogami says it himself, it's HIS body but Vkun is free to control it as he wishes.

But it feels a little odd, especially taking the other Nahobino forms into account. Vkun and Aogami's Nahobino form resembles Vkun so SO MUCH more and I think it has to do with their desires and goals. When meeting, Aogami never exactly had a set goal of his own, his programming was to simply protect and support Vkun. But VKUN had a desire/goal at that moment and it was to LIVE. And so, their Nahobino leans more towards Kei. But I think it's neat that this never changes! As our duo develops, Aogami does form a goal, he does have a desire and it's still to protect and support Vkun but it feels like it's more than just his programming saying that as he begins to understand the human mind and heart. He respects Vkun as a person, he never (from my recollection) takes control of their Nahobino and when he DOES have things to say, they split from each other so the person they're talking to can hear him.

Now compare this to the Nahobino forms of Tsukuyomi/Yuruzu and Abdiel/Dazai. Their Nahobino forms resemble more of the demon side of things than human. Tsukuyomi completely overpowers in like. Every way. Their power imbalance is THERE FROM THE GET GO with Koshimizu being the prime minister and all, Tsukuyomi just sees one’s knowledge as a means to an end and nothing more, at least that's what it FEELS like in base game. Yuzuru may have the same goals as Tsukuyomi but Tsukuyomi doesn’t exactly have a similar kind of respect for him, Yuzuru is extremely vulnerable and through that, control may lean more toward Tsukuyomi.

Abdiel and Dazai are a little weird, but I think the corruption that Abdiel goes through taints Dazai, they have the same problem of a power dynamic with Dazai being so faithful and looking up to Abdiel and Abdiel eventually realizing the power of HER KNOWLEDGE is something SHE needs to reach their goal, so control may also lean more towards Abdiel as well.

As for Yakumo and Nuwa, I think they have more of an equal relationship. The face resembles a man’s more (Yakumo) and has the snake body (Nuwa). We see that they both understand a need in the other’s power and they respect each other (and if I could be a little uhhh biased, I think the love they have towards each other ALSO plays into account of what kind of Nahobino form they have and how they may both be in control because of the respect they have for each other.)

Ok now here’s the SMTVV part. SPOILERS PAST THE 3RD AREA AHEAD!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Now I REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT VKUN/TSUKUYOMI’S NAHOBINO. This form resembles Vkun yet again and like the other form, has details of Tsukuyomi. They both desire vengeance but perhaps Vkun desires it more because having known Yoko before, he would also go through so much betrayal. But there’s an uncertainty that he has, he ALWAYS looks at his hand in his idle and the victory screen, unfamiliar and uncomfortable with this new form and I believe that uncertainty shakes the control that Vkun has on their Nahobino a little bit. There was something VERY INTERESTING I noticed while in this form and it’s that “It Seems the Knowledge is in Control” NEVER plays in the menu screen, that and Tsukuyomi IS able to take control and speaks through this form sometimes. While I don’t think Tsukuyomi is actively trying to take control of their Nahobino, I DO think that the vulnerable state that Vkun is in wavers the control that he has but also maybe because they AREN'T each other's halves in the first place.

Anyways I think the Nahobinos are super neat! And I ADORE both of the Nahobino forms that Vkun is a part of, and I love all the small little details in all of them! :D

Never played a Fate game or watched any of the animes really. But I started playing Fate/Samurai Remnant bc I wanted to play a hack n slash kinda game & it got generally good reviews (unlike ffxvi, the other game I was looking at for this wish of mine, which ppl continuously said was pretty but kinda shallow writing-wise)

I've been enjoying it. I've already learned some things about 1600s Japan. It's pretty neat!

Same same same I was literally thinking of what RGG characters' zOMG! loadouts might look like earlier today help😭But I too was playing zOMG! on a horrid PC with a horrid connection... had to zoom out so far to get some slightly better performance from Flash that chat was nearly unusable...
