some post wad weekend thoughts...

i just wrote all this on the plane and haven't read it through so apologies for any mistakes

first of all, this weekend was incredible. i usually just kinda sit at home doing not much of anything, and this was a much needed break to actually have some fun. london in general always lifts my spirits but i suppose that danisnotonfire guy contributed a little as well.

guys i think i've met more people the past few days than i otherwise have in years. like. holy shit. i started listing people but i'm petrified i'll forget someone so i chickened out, sorry about that. but you all know who you are. i've met friends i've had for years, people i used to know but haven't spoken to in what feels like a decade, newer friends, and a frankly baffling amount of people i didn't know yet but who told me they've followed me for ages. like holy fuck you guys lmao what the hell??? and i mean did the reaction ever get old no of course it didn't. bad for my ego i'm sure but totally worth it. there's something very amusing and incredibly surreal about being chronically lame in most aspects of life and then suddenly finding yourself in an environment where you're kinda cool???? SO fucking fun oh my god, but also i do kinda feel like i've tricked you all? but hey i'll happily let you keep believing i'm cool, that is more than fine with me.

most importantly though everyone was SO lovely. like i said i don't think i've spoken to this many people in such a short amount of time in years and every single person i talked to was awesome. guys did you know phannies are kind of great... don't tell anyone but, lowkey... everyone is so funny and cool and absolutely insane but in a good way (shoutout everyone left at the gates until the very end, we should probably get some help).

and then lastly of course, mr howell himself. i talk about this a lot i feel like but fuck me that man was born to perform. whether you think he's actually funny or not, nobody can argue he doesn't absolutely thrive on a stage. he plays off the audience so well and he's so very obviously having the time of his fucking life. i'd already seen the show twice before this, and i didn't think anything would top the previous london show but man... the first night he came back out after the show having clearly been tearing up backstage, apologising for being an inconsistent absent parent, and i can't lie the "i had daddy issues and THEN i subscribed to dan howell" got me cause yeah no literally dude, you nailed it, exactly, well done. i think something about doing this show again, his magnum opus as he considers it, now after the dapg return was very special to him. he seems genuinely surprised that so many of us were ready to just jump back in like nothing happened, i don't think he was expecting so many people to still be waiting and it's... man. he comes off so grateful for us all and it's so fucking sweet. and then on the last night, i think that was my favourite, when the show ended and he got the standing ovation and people throwing him flowers.. he was so HAPPY. and clearly overwhelmed with emotion which, i gotta say, there is something honestly kinda funny about daniel howell standing in front of you trying not to cry. like no by all means dude go ahead, please, you've made me cry an endless amount of times it's only fair.

ugh. i'm proud of him or whatever. dick. and i'm proud of our ridiculous fucking community. i'm not sure what 14 year old nora would say if you'd told me i'd still be kicking it in the phandom a decade on, but at almost 25 (fml) i'm so so happy to be here still. you know, we get a bad rep, but i genuinely think as far as fanbases go we're pretty solid. and i love you all so much.

i believe i will have to rob a bank or something because the next time dan and/or phil do a tour i think i'll have to just show up at every date like i'm sorry but this was too good of a high we need to do it again immediately

anyway. back to work 💪

I've been reflecting a lot lately about something similar to the last post I reblogged about the term "girlie" and the "girlification" of everything (e.g., girl dinner, girl job, girl math). I think especially with the sheer prevalence and impact of spaces like Tik Tok and other social media it is so extremely easy to get caught up in some of those "trends," and when you're a woman and you see other women using those terms and you do relate in some way to their perceived surface meanings, it's easy to adopt them yourself and feel like part of an in-group because of it, without realizing how dangerous such terms can be to feminism when you go around aimlessly throwing into your daily vernacular, particularly when taken alongside the wider cultural and political wave of conservatism. And it's ultimately so important to step back and take a look at how those seemingly innocuous terms are contributing to that wave!!

I'll be the first to say I definitely laughed at some of the earliest "girl dinner" Tik Toks and for a while me and my friends were all using "girl math" in our lingo, because we related to the idea and knew we all did it and found it funny. But then I saw another Tik Tok and some other posts online about why those terms are diminutive and harmful to women and I've since done my best to stop using them. It's really critical to police our own language sometimes. And like, I haven't suddenly stopped relating to ~concept~ of "girl math," in the sense that coming up with wonky "calculated" justifications for my sillier purchases is something I absolutely still do and is still something I laugh at myself for as I know I'm doing it. And there's nothing wrong with that! But I've stopped saying "girl math" because I've realized the concept behind the term has no actual relationship to my womanhood (or in this case, "girl"hood, which is obviously diminutive in itself). My ability to justify little treat purchases is not rooted in any way in my gender, and the conflating of the two is a problem. I promise you, men use "girl math" too!! But creating terms like "girl math" or "girl dinner" as the framework for those concepts situates them as inherently female, and by extent, situates females as somehow inherently less financially responsibly, less healthy, less intelligent.

Anyway, I now try to be way more conscious of the language I perpetuate, especially because I am someone who is very "traditionally feminine" in a lot of ways, which makes it that much easier to slip into some of these "trends" without critical thought. I enjoy "girlie" hobbies! I knit and bake and embroider and collect tea cups and wear dresses. I still ask my brother to help me with my taxes every year and I still make my Dad come fix my car when it breaks down. But none of that lessens the fact that I am also a self sufficient and intelligent woman, and I am increasingly cognizant of the ways in which the things I do and enjoy are being packaged into "girlie" tik tok trends that are then used to perpetuate outdated gender roles, keep ALL women in boxes, and strip us of our rights. I can enjoy all the things I enjoy while scoffing in disgust at the rise of the "trad wife," but it's also important to be very vigilant about how the language I use might inadvertently be pushing forward values I vehemently disagree with and am opposed to, and its important now more than ever to constantly examine ourselves.

Heeeyy, I'm back with a new Helluva Boss opinion post thingy

Okay so, the Mammon episode- it was alright I guess? Tbh it didn't strike me as super awesome or anything, it's just kinda there?

Anyway, let's talk about it a little bit!

So I wanted to start off with Mammon himself, I'm gonna be honest I don't hate him but I don't like him either. I'll admit I do actually like his voice, I'm sure y'all might find it annoying but I dunno, I like his accent and the way he talks is kinda funny. His design tho? Eh, it could use some work.

For instance, his eyes are weird, like every time he was on screen my first thought was always: "Wow, he looks like Robin from TTG". I also hate how he's shaped like your typical "fat" character from cartoons. But for some reason they decided to give him skinny arms but a round body. He's weirdly disproportionate, which is disappointing because they definitely could make a better plus sized character design. But oh well, knowing Viv, she wouldn't even try.

I will admit his true demon form is kinda cool, except that I actually thought he was going to be a caterpillar or something but he's a spider? I swear, Viv has some weird design choices.

Moving on, the episode was cluttered as hell. It had way too much stuff in it, which made the episode feel eternal. Not only that but the episode has 4 songs.. FOUR FUCKING SONGS- When will Viv realize that not every HB episode needs a song? Like is this shit an animated series or a fucking musical? Make up your mind Viv-

Anyway, I'm glad this episode focuses on Fizz, but his character did feel a bit off in certain scenes, but aside from that everything else was fine. (I found that scene of Fizz talking to the deaf imp child while using sign language to be very endearing).

Alright, I'mma point out a few other things real quick:

Ozzie's relationship with Fizz is absolutely adorable and I love them so much. However I don't understand why they portray their relationship as a bad thing? Like, fucking Queen Bee is dating Vortex (who's a hellhound, and they are a lower class than imps) and nobody says anything and she's a sin- so why can't Ozzie do the same??

I also happen to noticed that Fizz and Mammon's relationship is similar to Angel Dust and Valentino's- I just hope they don't completely butcher my boy Fizz, because he's the ONLY character I genuinely like from this god awful series.

Edit: I find it outrageous that Fizz apologized to Blitzo in the previous episode for the accident and claims that yes, he was affected by it but he's gotten over it. Yet here, he's super insecure about it and seeks approval from Mammon. It doesn't make sense- I swear it's like the characters are evolving backwards (as in the character development just resets and they act like nothing happened).

I also just wanted to say that this character made me feel super uncomfortable throughout the episode (which I guess is the point, but honestly they didn't need to add him.) Like, was it really necessary to include this Reddit mod, Discord user incel with an obsessive personality to the episode? He doesn't really contribute much other than to probably trigger people who have dealt with some form of harassment like this, and to make Fizz look super helpless so that Blitzo can defend him.

Blitzo didn't contribute anything to the episode, they didn't need to add him either. Like we get it he's the main character but that doesn't mean he has to be in every fucking episode doing absolutely nothing other than saying a bunch of curse words or shooting someone.

In conclusion, I didn't like this episode that much. I was expecting more to be completely honest.

I understand being upset that Mary & George is about filthy sex vs. RWRB but also... As a queer person, straight people have shows like GoT which are mostly filthy hetero sex so we can have the same.

People had sex for power throughout history, that's just how it is. And George was mentioned in the RWRB novel by Henry specifically so to have Nick portray him in this show is pretty cool.

You misunderstand me.

I have absolutely no qualms about Mary & George being the show that it is. I have no problem with it being raunchy and sex-filled. I'm entirely for variety of content and genres for all groups of people.

What I was pointing out is that this show is truly getting attention. There's interviewers, articles, social media posts, etc. that are all buzzing about it. It's not just a niche group of book fans that are anxiously awaiting the adaptation. There is a lot of hype, and one of the first things everyone mentions when discussing this show is the sex.

That's all completely fine, but I can't help but feel like this excitement and anticipation would not have applied to Red, White & Royal Blue, even if it had gotten the promo it should've.

People love getting excited/flustered/teasing/curious over sex on the screen, particularly if it's dirty and/or kinky. "Sex sells" is a saying for a reason.

It hurts to finally get a movie like Red, White & Royal Blue, that is beautiful, hopeful, funny, happy, and unapologetically queer, without it being the center plot point, and know deep down that it would never get as much praise or attention as something like Mary & George would.

The painful truth is that for the general masses, gay relationships boil down to sex. It's what they think of first. It's what some of them only think about. When a ship/pairing is proposed, what's one of the very first questions asked or teased about?

"Who's the top and who's the bottom?"

It is treated as something that they are expected to share based on how casually it's asked. You would never ask that question to a heterosexual couple even though those terms can be applied to them too. It's all they want to talk about, and yet they're also oblivious and ignorant. I mean, for fuck's sake, at least 75% of the viewing population of RWRB, even those who would consider themselves dedicated allies, did not know that men could have missionary sex. All they picture when they think of gay sex is rough, back-to-chest sex where they aren't facing each other. It did not even occur to them as a possibility that men could have gentle, face-to-face sex.

Loving sex is rarely depicted between queer couples on the screen, which is what made Red, White & Royal Blue so different and important.

The film is also not centered around their sexualities. They are contributing factors to the plot, but they are not the focus the way it is in movies like Love, Simon. Taylor recently quoted Matthew with this phrase: "It is not a gay love story; it's just a love story."

Henry and Alex's relationship is depicted no differently than any heterosexual romcom couple. If you switched one of them to a woman, you could play the plot out the exact same way; all you would change would be the scrutiny based on their sexualities, which can be substituted for class differences, race, or literally anything else that the public could hold against them.

And to clarify again, there is nothing wrong with showing the other side of this. I have no problem with it whatsoever!

It is just disappointing and frustrating to see how fast and easily the media flock to a show like Mary & George because it's so "outrageous" and "sexy", while Red, White & Royal Blue has practically been brushed off only six months following its release after it dominated the worldwide charts for several weeks.

I know what people will say: "Oh, the window for promo has passed!" "Oh, they're still talking about it a bit!" "Oh, it's because of the strike!"

Yes, it was, but I cannot shake the feeling that even if it hadn't happened, Red, White & Royal Blue would have still gotten the short end of the stick compared to something like Mary & George, or The Idea Of You that's coming out later. I'm pushed more towards that mindset after RWRB lost the SAG award the other night even though it was easily the best one on that list.

RWRB is treated as inferior and has already suffered from homophobic Hollywood standards multiple times, but I almost guarantee you that M&G will receive mountains of praise and awards, despite being way more explicit than RWRB is.

That is what I have a problem with.

They briefly introduced Jamil's mob roommate, and of course we don't get to know a lot about him (he's a mob after all), but I thought it was funny that his main contribution to the vignette was sleeping through every noise Jamil makes (like drying his hair or when his alarm clock goes off). I like to think that he is the one mob student who just isn't interested in Jamil in the slightest. It's not that he doesn't think he is pretty, it's just that it does nothing for him. Jamil, you need to treasure him!

In reality though, I can see Ace doing it; Deuce wouldn’t do it intentionally, he just ends up in these situations that make Ace jealous. Epel would absolutely try to do it though. Ortho might too, actually, but he would just tease a little bit…

Azul would be petty enough to do it but he isn’t super liked by others, so there probably won’t be much flirting happening lol Idia might tease Azul like that though, but it would backfire horribly somehow. I wouldn’t call it “flirting” though because Idia isn’t much of a flirt, but complimenting someone for being good at board-games is enough to get Azul mad.

Jade would do it in a very obvious way, almost too crudely for how sneaky and manipulative he usually is. But that’s absolutely intentional.

Jamil probably would, but not with Kalim – he knows that this kind of thing wouldn’t really work with him, and they don’t have this kind of relationship… pissing Azul off would be funny to him though because his reactions are very obvious.

Vil might do it a little bit; I keep thinking about that one jp RookVil comic about Vil surrounding himself with the Savanaclaw mobs during Beanfest and thinking  “it wouldn’t hurt for you to get jealous every once in a while”. Malleus would be petty enough to do something like that though. As someone who often feels left out and neglected, he would be overjoyed to see someone getting jealous of him and upset with him flirting with someone else. He made Lilia jealous a couple of times, and it’s always such a big win for him that he can’t stop grinning very smugly…

Isn't it just wonderful how my dear Amy Rose gets paired romantically with every Sonic Rival in the fandom? Even Blaze! And fortunately not much with Jet 😂😂 My favorite one obviously is Shadamy, followed by Surgamy and finally with Metal Sonic but seriously, to me nothing beats THE Shadamy❤🖤🩷.

So the BEST thing about this ship to me is that it was born out of a single interaction 😆 and I don't mean the moment she colorblinded mistook him for Sonic and hugged him nooooope I mean the moment she reminded him about Maria Robotnik's 🥺 true wish by giving him a similar speech of hope and second chances and after that he said: I have to fufill my promise for Maria... And you... Me after seeing that👇👇

Seriously, is fascinating how popular this ship became of that single interaction that led fans to write a HUGE amount of fanfiction of them and is always so romantic or so passionate or so angsty God I never get tired of it, one of my favorite portrayals of Shadamy is when Shadow is kind of a emo simp towards her, like he is simply adoring her even when she only looks at Sonic who is not looking at her 😭... Ah drama. 😂 I remember a few stories back when I was a pre teen... Like "el blog de Amy Rose" That's the only written fanfic name I remember and it was a total soap opera, a total and absolute telenovela full of all kinds of drama like Silver was their son and Sonic and Shadow were lost brothers 😂. Then I remember I few comics like Ternion that was an insanely passionate and angsty story with an excellent art that to contribute to my torture it was never finished... And boy I know the author had a secret smut chapter that she never posted anywhere... We know it exists because there were a few hot scenes in a video... 😭 but never happened the story didn't even reach half of what I think it was going to be🥲. In Chaos universe there's a double story in one Sonic and Amy had a daughter named Sonia but in an alternative universe we have María Rose who is Shadow and Amy's daughter... Is another tragedy were Amy is dead in both universes 😭 and of course I'm totally biased with Maria Rose's universe because the way her dad remember Amy's just hits different, seriously is way more enjoyably painful 🥲 and then the most current comics I'm addicted to of course IDOL AMY portrayed Shadow exactly how I said I like him the most 🥺 and the last one I saw is one apocalyptic where obviously Shadow survives and mourns a dead Amy: Future's Shadow... Girl this hedgehog can't catch a break they like to see him suffer 🥲🥲🥲

Now let's focus in the official interactions:

The Archie comics before the reboot kinda mistreated Amy portraying her in an annoying way most of the time just like in some games... And I wasn't a fan of a certain interaction she had with Shadow... (Those issues had a bitchy evil Rouge portrayal that I didn't like one bit🤬) I mean shadow actually kicks her in the stomach and hits her with her own hammer and... That just felt so wrong, you see I can't picture an scenario where Shadow would lay a hand on Amy in such a way as he did in those comics but I had a little comfort in this interaction at least 👇👇

She puts her faith on him when he doesn't have much faith on himself and that is something she also did in the games, like in Shadow the hedgehog own game. Then there was a reboot and we got better interactions, here we have Amy teasing him and he pouting adorably (and finally they dropped the Rouge is a bitch portrayal thank you😤)

We also see that they can make a good team

Hey Shadow how it feels to be hammered by her? 🤭😇, then we had the marvelous IDW reboot but we still don't have proper interactions (and this is the best Rouge💜)

Though honesty? This look like a romance novel scene... You know, with the bad boy being stubborn with the kind sweet girl 😂. Well Sonic IDW is still ongoing so we'll see if we get something more juicy... But I think I will be happy if they simply team up in a fight again.

And now let's talk about Twitter... Well, well, well have you noticed this tiny details in Sonic's Twitter takeovers? Someone asked "Shadow, will you marry me? " And they made Amy voice be the one reading that question 🧐, not only that the things Shadow described about what he wants in a partner for marriage were things that Amy totally would do perfectly (and to add some spice they made Sonic voice sound kind of upset to tease us with some sonadow too😂😂) and then the most precious and hilarious thing... SHADOW AND AMY ARE BOTH SWIFTIES 😆😆

And look! He got her ticket's 😭😭 and they went together!!! 😭😭😭(that's a DATE) and then in another Twitter takeover she tells about how they had fun and got shirts and then Sonic got jealous 😭😭😭 KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and look what SEGA IS DOING 👇👇👇

Pop Star Amy and Rock Star Shadow I can't... 😭😭 and paladin Amy and knight Shadow AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THEY MATCH!!!!!

so i just heard the homemade persian dub of kuro's first ep made by some young people who sound like they're in uni (probs 18-23 yr olds), tears have been flowing from my eyes for the past 20 mins

but first, the funny stuff

ciel's voice is awful but just listen to the goofy dub laugh seb's va did at the start I'M FUCKING SOBBING (00:15-00:35), and also not ciel's va MOANING after the op song (2:35) ??? i REPEAT the woman who VA'd ciel was fucking MOANING, the YAWN was the worst part, dub team shotacons???

also SHEEL FANTOMHAYO?? THE KID'S NAME WAS DUBBED AS SHEEL FANTOMHAYO. (refer to 6:30 in the video linked)

now this isn't because we lack a 's' in our language (my alias is literally a persian name meaning shadow aka ✦sayé✦), we've just transliterated it as shiyel, but SHEEL???

the other guy calls him fantomhayo too (8:25) and the fantomhayo condition strikes again with sebastian's va talking about the fantomhayo hospitality at 12:40 ish in the video.

this is particularly bizarre because we do have a V in persian, please guys, use it!

at 13:00, we get this golden crumb "meyrin... oh meyrin" from this college aged dude doing sebastian (who is SO lost) then he proceeded to say in persian "i beg you, ON MY LIFE, just pour the fucking wine in the glass and walk away" save me from the bad dub, ono daisuke, save me...

the furnace scene is just gold (18:50 onward is comical, the scream at the end... priceless), these people deserve an award, im tempted to do subs on this whole video because the translation is so wrong yet absolutely too hilarious to leave untranslated. also, i like how you can hear other people talking in the background constantly, they didn't even bother finding a quiet room 😭😭

finally i translated some of the best comments under the vid (everyone fuckin hated it 😭)

..tldr: irani/persian speaking netizens are brutal. but also, it shows that persian speakers are used to quality dubbing, otherwise this wouldn't be so offensive. if we were used to badly done dubs, the comments wouldn't look like this. many famous kdramas and jdramas and indian/turkish films have been dubbed. animated movies e.g. disney films and most commonly 70-80s anime have huge followings in iran and were dubbed extraordinarily well. in fact, in iran, many of our own films are dubbed especially if the original footage did not capture the audio well enough/the director was unhappy with the actor's delivery and it's usually hard to tell if this has happened because it's done very well. shockingly, dub is more popular than sub. so why does kuro not have an official dub? why is the fandub so bad???

*IMPORTANT: an anime like this is not allowed to be legally dubbed by studios in iran because iran is under an islamic theocracy (the islamic republic) and all media that promotes devil worshipping and blasphemy is banned, homosexuality is too (anyone can tell kuro has homoerotic undertones, the homophobic heads of media would never let this queer gothic romance through). oh and trans people are "allowed" on TV but only if they're not vulgar/explicit (not even then, half the time) & grelle would not make it into the anime AT ALL. even if we ignore all the devil worshipping and queerness, sex is banned too (as well as lewd appearances of women), so season 1/2 & boc would never make it. oh and alcohol, bom would never make it. oh and also, women's empowerment is banned too so boa would never make it. when will it end? will someday everything be banned? sure looks like it. but isn't this what anti shippers want? i mean kuro IS problematic media, it never condemns people for having sex or partaking in drinks, not even murder is condemned.

moving on, the subtitled version of the episodes are very well done for what they are but it's still not good, you won't understand what's going on properly. meanings are lost. a dub is much more accessible to those who can't read subs and generally a necessary option. people NEED dubs. don't get me wrong, the iranian fansub team are dedicated however subs are much easier for fans to do than dubbing. as you heard, kuro's persian fandub was frankly terrible. these kids didn't even know how to pronounce ciel's name and it's NOT because of the language barrier, my theory is that because the internet access is so limited, they had to figure out how to pronounce ciel's name purely from the japanese original or another lang dub and had no access to the eng dub. as you can see, they are not able to follow the mouth movements either (don't have editing software); i assume the internet restrictions targeted streaming platforms w the dub on it (because the government wants to CONTROL what media people consume) so they had to figure everything out from japanese or another language, (they probably used another fandub to translate since the ed seems to credit the eng vas while they can never be heard in the bg) which is not easy. unfortunately english is taught in schools around the world not japanese so the dubbers' translation was quite honestly terrible- after all, they had no official script to base their translation off. BUT if a professional dubbing studio (e.g. iran's glory entertainment) got their hands on kuro, it'd probably be dubbed very well. if mehrdad raissi, CEO of glory, was on for seb's role, it would be glorious (pun intended). if he did flynn rider well, he can do sebs well too. but that studio often has their shows played on state televisions and the last thing they want is to get blacklisted and arrested for dubbing the gay demon butler anime. please do not take this fandub as representing all persian-language dubs. and remember, kuro itself is banned for being problematic media in counties like iran... no sebaciel needed (although anyone can definitely see the gay undertones to the story from a cover alone).

if you want to ban people from shipping things or making fan works that are problematic... soon you'll have to get rid of problematic media in general. and already, antis sound like the media people in charge under a dictatorship. "violence is okay, murder is okay but s-sex?!? women in scandalous clothing!!! oh good heavens..!" this is the kind of mindset which leads people down the rabbit hole of "this is problematic!! let's ban it!!!" until there's nothing left, a slippery slope. imagine this was the english dub of kuro. imagine it was banned in western countries and a team of young'uns had to gang up and make their own dub using only the japanese raws. imagine problematic media like kuro wasn't picked up the west because it's "shota" and that's bad. we'd be stuck looking at the same sanitised stuff and if we wanted to watch kuro, our options would be trash dubs (no offense) like this one. pretty scary to think this could be the state of the english dub if puritanism was as bad here as it is in countries like iran. policing media and deciding what creators should or shouldn't create will take you to the side of theocratic dictatorships and you will fall into alt right puritan lunacy, fanpoll are about as woke as a dictatorship, remember that.

Idk if you’ve answered this question (sorry if you have) before, but how do you think Renji & Rukia first met ? What do you think their life was like originally before Soul Society ?

Pardon me if I'm reading this wrong, but...Rukia and Renji's first meeting is enshrined pretty thoroughly in canon? She rescued him from a water heist that was about to turn disastrous.

This is from Chapter 98/Episode 32: A Star and a Stray Dog, which is the first place you should be looking if you're interested in pre-canon Renruki lore.

As to the second part of your question...you mean before they died? What sort of lives did they have in the World of the Living?

I'm gonna pontificate, so I'll throw that under a cut

First off, I am fascinated with the fact that Kubo gives us nothing about what anyone's living life was like. On one hand, I would like to know everyone's pre-history, but on the other, I'm glad he didn't, like as a literary choice. The slate is supposed to be wiped clean. It doesn't matter. It's maddening, but also correct.

It's also one of those places that is just ✨fanfic free real estate✨ in terms of I think everyone should make up their own version for their blorbos, so of course I have them for Renji and Rukia. I have absolutely nothing to support these, they are just what I felt in my heart.

I have actually talked about Renji's beforedeath quite a bit, here and there in various fanfics, usual under the conceit that, particularly in their Inuzuri days, he would sometimes blurt out some half-remembered thing and then promptly forget it again. Here an excerpt from Chapter 3 of go places:

It’s an Alive Memory, Rukia is nearly certain. Most souls get them. All the boys did, from time to time. To Renji, it’s just brain dust. Whatever it is in Soul Society that makes people forget their lives also makes this memory detritus slippery to hold onto. Renji won’t think of this later, or attach any importance to this conversation. The funny thing is, after ten years of watching him stumble through these moments, Rukia probably has a better idea of what Renji’s life was like than he does. He lived on a farm of some sort. A small one, or at least his family grew a lot of their own food. He died of a fever. Nearly all of his Alive Memories involve his mother. Rukia is almost positive that Renji’s mother is the one who taught him to write. The sewing scissors were likely hers. In Rukia’s imagination, Renji’s mother is very tall and beautiful and kind. Rukia doesn’t need to use her imagination to know that Renji loved his mother very much.

Just to offer a little more detail--doing the math out, where Bleach starts in the early 00s, Rukia and Renji have been separated for 40 years and knew each other for 10 years before that, it would make a lot of sense for both of them to have died in WWII. However, I like to think that time is very wobbly, especially in the outer Rukon, so I like to make their deaths a little earlier-- specifically, I think that Renji died in the 1918 flu pandemic, which may have contributed to getting a plague spirit for a zanpakutou. That being said, my general vibe for his childhood is based on Kanta, the neighbor kid from My Neighbor Totoro, which takes place in the 50s. In any case, he had a pretty small and unremarkable life in rural Japan, aside from the fact that he was loved very much, which will never be unremarkable, no matter how common it may be.

I have written less about Rukia's beforedeath, mostly because she was too young when she died to have any phantom memories. [Note: I know there are some theories out there, based on some arcane clues that Kubo has dropped that Rukia may not actually be a normal soul and may be related to Hell. That's...fine. While I'm never going to say no to a storyline that centers Rukia, I really do hope that it comes to naught. Ichigo has enough Crazy Origin going on and I like the Rukia's backstory the way it is, so I'm just going to ignore all of that for the sake of this post]. Ahem! So, infant death is not anything surprising, or even really interesting, but what makes Rukia's kind of compelling is the fact that her much-older sister died at the same time. To me, this indicates either a natural disaster or a death-by-violence.

As I said above, there are infinity ways you can go with this, but to me, there were two important things I wanted to capture 1) given Renji's descriptions of Rukia having an inherent grace and nobility, and the idea that something about Hisana caught Byakuya's eye, I thought that maybe they should have been noble, and 2) I wanted them to live by the sea. I do not actually remember how I landed on this, but in the 1850s, a bunch of sea fortresses were constructed to protect Japan by attack from sea (see here for more detail). This was the tail end of the Edo period and I liked the idea that maybe Rukia came from an old samurai family, and her father was sent to oversee one of these coastal forts. Did they die in a bombardment? A bad storm? The Kanto earthquake? I never got that far. I'm not even sure if this is a realistic scenario, if they had civilians living there, etc, this was just a half-thought-out thing I came up with for a bonus chapter of a fanfic that someone requested once. The one other detail from that that I came up with and stand by is that I think there were more siblings in their family between Hisana and Rukia. I also like that this idea that makes Rukia somewhat older than Renji, even though the math is impossible and the points are made up anyway.

MDZS thoughts; silence in MDZS

MDZS is, in truth, a beautiful novel, and the themes explored are incredible, but the one that’s been haunting me all week is the concept of silence. MDZS depicts silence in so many varying situations, sometimes for the better, and sometimes for worse.

(this post will contain literally every kind of spoiler btw) 

It starts, as most things do, with Nie Huaisang (at least this idea did). Nie Huaisang is the very definition, the epitome, the ultimate keeper of silence. From the day that his brother was murdered via qi deviation, and he was named Sect Leader Nie, Nie Huaisang has been silent. Not literally obviously, but it's still cool to think about. Rather than complete silence, Huaisang simply has an absence of anything important to say. He’s labelled the “headshaker” (which btw, is the coolest title in the entire series) for his lack of anything that isn’t an ‘I don’t know!”, and clearly is underestimated for this. He doesn’t practice the sabre (unheard of from a Nie), he enjoys art and exotic birds, and very clearly has an overreliance on his brothers’ sworn brothers. These are essentially they shields that keep away people from questioning this silence, the lack of anything fundamental to his authority, which is exactly what he needs to keep plotting Jin Guangyao’s downfall in the background. And, in reference to this, I think the biggest symbol of this uncharacteristic silence, is the use of his fan. It’s shown from the very first time he was introduced that he liked fans, that he always carries one with him, that he covers the lower half of his face with it whenever something happens, to hide his reaction, acting as a shield for him. This itself speaks of silence, Nie Huaisang having been playing the silent game far longer than anyone else in the series had, not through any actual silence, but the constant charades, the lies, the façade that stops anyone from factoring him as a threat. 

Though, if one wants to talk about silence in MDZS, you can't forget our resident Hanguang-Jun, whose only words seem to be ‘Wei Ying [angry]’, ‘Wei Ying [emotional]’, ‘Wei Ying [affectionate]’, and ‘Mn.’ In contrast to Nie Huaisang who always has so much to say but no substance to it, Lan Wangji is quite literally silent half the time, and his silence is so important. It’s a vital characterisation point, past the very obvious fact that it’s a funny bit that the love interest has the personality of a particularly bland rock. Younger Wangji’s silence speaks (ha!) of someone who has nothing left to say to the world, no one will hear him if he speaks, so he doesn’t. He doesn’t speak of his love for Wei Wuxian until it’s too late, doesn’t make wild accusations surrounding the Wens, doesn’t outright do much, but the silence speaks volumes (HA!). Lan Wangji’s later silence is borne of confidence, of action, of a man who knows his words hold weight, but prefers to take action in place of it. He doesn’t need to speak, he silently picks up a-Yuan to raise him, silently takes 33 lashes for attacking 33 elders, silently mourns Wei Wuxian, and silently continues on with life, knowing his place and how he contributes and doing it all with a myriad of ‘Wei Ying’[s] buried on his tongue. 

And on the topic of Wei Ying, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng are the most hurtful depictions of silence (in my opinion) because they both come up with such genius ways to hurt each other through it. Wei Wuxian says nothing about the giving away his golden core to Jiang Cheng after he lost it, and nothing before he leaves to protect the Wen remnants. Jiang Cheng says nothing to defend his brother against the assorted sect leaders, nothing about sacrificing himself to protect his siblings after the Wens burnt down their home. Both of them prefer to simply act in the name of protecting the other, but this does them absolutely no favours. Neither of them speaks on their actions, because then they’d have to acknowledge that they weren’t thinking of the other’s reaction, or worse, admit they actually care about each other (a foreign concept apparently, though who can blame them with the home they were raised in). It’s so much easier to just hate (love) your brother if you stay silent and never bring up how much it truly hurt you to have that life stolen from you. 

Another truly interesting silence to explore is the women of MDZS in general. Because despite MXTX being a woman, all her female characters are tied down by silence, forcibly quiet through her omniscient hand writing them out of the narrative. Jiang Yanli was always the best example of this. An eldest (and only) daughter of a prominent sect, yet her words are only used to placate her brothers when they argue. She never speaks out of turn, never defends herself even when being attacked by someone she cares about, never has anything to say unless it’s to push her brothers into something, forever a piece of everyone else's backstories, but never having a part of her own. Wen Qing wasn’t an eldest daughter of a prominent sect, and she definitely had more to say than Yanli, but again, as a slave to the demands of the narrative, she resolves herself to knock Wei Wuxian out and silently walk to her demise. Mianmian was shaped to remain in quiet obedience to the Jīns' various schemes, and when she had enough, finally speaking out against the actions her sect took against Wei Wuxian, she was silenced, and her penance was to exile herself and start a life somewhere where she could not speak out. Silently, silently, silently, the eternal fate of the women of MDZS. 

I could go on for a million years about the silence in this novel, and its complex relationship with every character, with every dynamic, and with every scene, but I’m afraid I’ve rambled on too long about this.

all my posts about Daikon where I criticize her or hate her - Just read them if you want why

This post is being created so that I can simply copy it when the time comes for daikon. Honestly, I'm not going to make excuses for my hatred towards her. But I decided to do it because in the end I get one and the same thing. This post will be long because I wanted to write it when I finish a certain stage, and that's exactly what happened and I think this post is necessary and thanks to this I won't repeat myself when the time comes.

Daikon is hated, which is an unusual phenomenon apparently in this fandom, especially here. Actually, it's not surprising because I've never once seen a daikon being hated or anyone complaining about her actions and deeds. Only sympathy and all hatred for this 'evil' Hanako, making her a victim.

Yes, this 'sweet, perfect, charming, beauty' yashiro nene has haters or people who just don't like her, not only this 'evil' Hanako.I am one of them. I'm really not ashamed to admit it.

1) As Hanako Stan, I have no obligation to love the daikon and this ship. Why? Hanako isn't the reason I hate her. I know this fandom likes blames everything on Hanako and not the daikon, but it doesn't work that way. I'm not denying it, I hate her, I'm literally disgusted by the way she treats Hanako, but that's just one of many reasons for my hatred, and Hanako is just a factor in my hatred growing, but she doesn't really have anything to say about it. It's convenient to blame Hanako for this, but not this time. Take Hanako out of history and my hatred will remain with me. Why? Since the only person who arouses such strong contempt and hatred in her and literally disgusts me, and I hate her to my core, the person responsible for my such strong hatred is Yashiro nene aka daikon. Surprised? Because I don't. My hatred came with time. I used to love her and this ship, but there are things about her that really piss me off, and I'll give those reasons later when I finish everything I have to say. I changed my mind because I can't tolerate her behavior. I don't care about her personality and age, these are not enough reasons to give any pass, I don't feel sorry for her because she is a "naive girl". You can't count on my sympathy. I'm cold and ruthless towards her, but Hanako has nothing to do with it, so this "no one forces me to hate nene" is not true, the only person who forces me is yahsiro nene. Therefore as Hanako I have no obligation to love her, just because he loves her doesn't mean I should too. It doesn't work that way. I will not be nicer to her because she is a girl, because of her character or age.

There is absolutely no point in blaming Hanako for my hatred. It's time to look in the face and realize that it's time to put the blame on yashiro. Her cheerful, loving and naive nature doesn't appeal to me. It's funny to me that daikon stans have a problem with my hatred and daikon stans also contributed to the explosion of my hatred. so FTW XD

2) What Hanako did and what I think. This is my private matter. I don't need to be reminded of what he's doing because I know it and I completely accept it, whether I like his actions or not. Hanako always He has no problem apologizing, he takes full responsibility for what he does ,again has no problem admitting guilt, and I'm proud of him. He does something consciously, knowing that he is doing something wrong, but he KNOWS it and will not hesitate to do it. He's not a coward and that's why I admire him. He is not morally pure and has his flaws, but he completely agrees with that. Whether I like his actions or not is entirely up to me. I will support him no matter what I think because he deserves it. I understand why he does it and I don't think he's selfish, his actions are not selfish, it's complete bullshit, he always does something with someone he loves in mind, but I've written so many posts on this topic that you can really just go through it to find these posts. I wrote the last one a few months ago and I really don't intend to repeat it here - for me it's a closed topic. The only person who is selfish is me, because I only care about HIM, his feelings, making him happy, etc., I only pay attention to him and I will stand by his side. Hanako is important to me here, he is my number one and I will take care of him first and it's high time for it to be talked about. Just because I don't criticize him for his actions doesn't mean I don't have negative thoughts about his actions, but I do. I completely ignore it and don't care. I'm here to support this boy and I have no intention of stopping, no matter what I think. I'll support him, okay? And I know perfectly well what he did and I really don't need to be reminded. I think turning a cat's tail to whiten a daikon is pathetic. She also has bad deeds, and the narrative describes her attempts to whitewash her for her sins, but this will never happen. She also considers herself innocent, but that doesn't mean she is. She's guilty as hell there! But no one has ever done what I did and started pointing out at her, expressing hatred and venting about it. Everything went to Hanako. The fact that Hanako is also complicit in certain actions does not mean that the daikon is pure as a whistle, because she is just as guilty as he is, the fact that she is ignorant and does not listen is none of my business. I'm not going to put all the blame on him when I don't think so and I know he's not entirely to blame for the daikon's actions. Just because she's 'naive, sweet, amorous' doesn't mean you can let her do anything and ignore her because that's who she is. That's not how it works. She did a lot of bad actions and deeds before and she still does them and there is no problem and turning everything back on Hanako won't help. It's time to understand this. I've said it so many times and this is the last time I say it.

3) daikon and Hanako's relationship is one big joke. The more I re-read in English or in my language, the more I become convinced of it. I see these changes in daikon, but what's the point if they are only temporary. I won't tolerate her trampling on him and her 'love'. jokes. They shouldn't be together and I've been thinking about it since p.p. arc. I gave her enough chances that she didn't deserve and that's enough. My tolerance and kindness also have limits. Just because they are canon doesn't mean it's a good ship, as AR wants to show. Her care for him. If she was like that, she wouldn't rely on him all the time, she would start listening to him and stop blaming him for a lot of things that were her fault, but she never once apologized to him, and when she did, it was disingenuous because she went back to that behavior. She was too used to Hanako taking everything upon herself, which ultimately made her innocent. She can't even respect Hanako. And I really don't care about her temporary changes where the AR for the plot will show that she 'loves' him when later it is the way it is. I'm tired of waiting, it's over 100 chapters. Enough already!

4) It's none of my business if I frustrate or scare anyone with what I do with daikon. Seriously, not mine. Am I mean and rude? I do not care about it. I also had to go through my hell when I silently hated daikon and was indifferent to it. Writing such things is pointless and I don't know what the purpose is, arouse some sympathy in me that my posts hurt someone? Stop manipulating me with your hurts feelings in any way, it's pathetic. I don't care about it.

I often repeat myself in posts, and in the newest one at the top I added many of my thoughts. complementing the thoughts I said earlier, like n that I don't think Hanako is selfish because this witch wants to live. These posts are enough to send a clear signal that I despise her to the core.

Alright, I'm procrastinating again, but I wanna post my datemate's Life series ramble

I'll put it under read more since I know it is rather long lol

The Traffic Life SMP has an interesting composition of different people, and they each have their own "purpose" within the series as well as a distinct way their videos feel. In this essay I will explain these categories and some of my reasoning behind why I believe their series all feel different.

Actually, though, it is super interesting seeing how each person fits into this series, seeing as how they are all very different people with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. I should preface this with the fact that I have not watched every point of view for every series, but I have watched at least one perspective from each of the main alliances within each series.

Starting with the categories I mentioned earlier, I took this idea from Hermitcraft. In general, everyone in Hermitcraft is either a builder or a redstoner. There is overlap, of course, but these are the main two categories of strength in a server where everyone can plan and work on projects extensively. In the Life Series, however, builder and redstoner does not encompass everyone. The four categories I have come up with instead are builder, redstoner, pvp-er, and funnyman. (I think of these like Pokemon types, some have one while others have a few.)

Builder is one of the most obvious, but even though it is easily seen in series like Hermitcraft or Empires, it is not as clear cut in the Life Series. The most prominent example I can think of is Scott. He is such a builder it is not even funny. He will absolutely wreck shop in pvp if given the chance, but he generally does not actively seek out combat. His series feels like an independent building lets-play rather than an SMP. Additionally, other builders such as Grian, Scar, and Bdubs are not nearly as focused on building during the Life Series as they are in Hermitcraft. They are certainly still good at building, but that is not their main focus. Other builders on the Life Series include Joel, Impulse, Cleo, Lizzie, and Pearl.

The second category, redstoner, is one of the most interesting ones in my opinion, simply because of the differences between making functional redstone contraptions and traps. What I have noticed from the Life Series is that those who are super confident with redstone such as Etho or Tango, tend to make fewer traps but more "practical" redstone constructions such as Etho's mob farm from Limited Life. Those who are not as confident, however, make a bunch of traps but do not use redstone otherwise. All traps are cursed in the Life Series, but even so, with throwing traps into the mix, I would consider Grian to be a redstoner more than a builder in this series (although, again, this is Pokemon types so he is definitely some of both). Of the other redstoners in the Life Series, Etho, Tango, and Mumbo are of the former, more practical redstone users, whereas Grian, Joel, and Lizzie are of the trap sort.

After building and redstone, there is another major factor that contributes specifically to the Life Series that tends not to come up in other series, namely pvp. These are the people who, through whichever means, can get kills when they need to. There are also a few subsections of this group as well, since some people are better or worse at pvp, and are more or less interested in fighting people. For example, Scott has a good track record of getting kills when it counts, but he rarely initiates fights and generally seems uninterested in killing people. Grian and Joel tend to be bloodthirsty, but can also actually get kills most of the time. I would also like to take a moment here to mention Etho and Cleo specifically, because I think they are somewhat similar when it comes to pvp. I will not go in to my whole Etho rant at the moment because that could be an essay on its own, but from what I have seen he tends to be all or nothing when it comes to the Life Series. On one hand, he was a fearsome boogeyman in Last Life, and tends to be very good at survival when the odds are against him, but on the other, he has died to a creeper multiple times. He is good at surviving big things but not little ones. Cleo has a similar vibe, in that she does not necessarily think she is good at pvp, but they are pretty good at getting consistent kills when it counts. I would consider both of them to be in the pvp category, even if they might not lol. I am also putting Skizz firmly in this category, since he is quite good at getting kills and swings wildly between bloodthirsty and an angel (3rd Life vs Limited Life).

The final category is the last one I distinguished between, and it was mainly due to two players: BigB and Jimmy. The other categories were easy to pick out, but when I was done thinking through who might go in which category, I realized neither of them really fit. However, they are both vital members of the server, and I was trying to figure out why that was. Eventually, the answer hit me that they are both just enjoyable people to be around. They are always so kind, but they are also super funny people to watch interact with others. I maintain that these series would not be nearly as fun if everyone was serious all the time, and as much as I love the amount of talent showcased in series such as Hermitcraft, the Life Series always felt a bit different to me. In any case, BigB and Jimmy are absolutely in the funnyman category, as are Martyn, Skizz, Joel, Ren, and Lizzie.

I also wanted to talk briefly about the idea of "Jack of All Trades", because it is one theme that I've found is lacking in many of these discussions. I formed this theory when talking with a friend about a few different series, specifically the Dream SMP and the Life Series (back during Last Life). I was asking about how good everyone was at pvp, since I figured that was a decent measure of how good people would be at these specific series, and I knew my friend was much better versed in the pvp side of Minecraft than I was. For the Dream SMP, I knew that people like Sapnap and BBH were on the more skilled side of pvp, while Tubbo and Tommy tended to be on the less skilled side, and for the Life Series I knew Scott and Grian were pretty good while Jimmy and BigB were not as much. So, I asked specifically about Philza and Etho, since I had not heard much about their pvp skills, and I got a similar answer for both. My friend basically said, "Well, they have been playing Minecraft for a very long time, so they are going to have some level of skill in any aspect of the game no matter what. They are not as good with 1.16 combat, since they are not focused on pvp at the moment, but I know they were good with 1.8 combat mechanics." Having learned more about them both since these conversations, I highly agree with this assessment, but one thing I took away was the idea that many of these people are skilled in a bunch of these areas even if they are only known for one or two. In the Life Series specifically, I feel that this applies most to Etho and Joel. They are good at the game all around, and I feel like that deserves some recognition.

Finally, I wanted to talk a bit about how each person's perspective feels different. (I will not go through all of them, but I had a few I wanted to touch on in particular.) As I mentioned before, Scott is very much a builder. He is building cute little houses and having fun with his friends, and it really does just feel like a building lets-play. Grian's point of view, in stark contrast, feels like the hunger games. He is setting traps and killing people, and as much as he is joking around he is also causing chaos. In between these two extremes, Etho feels somewhere in the middle. He is playing survival minecraft with friends and trying not to die. He is messing with people and getting kills, but he is also cracking jokes and having fun with the different groups. Joel's perspective feels similar to Grian's in that he is playing survival games, but if survival games was also about building fun houses and traps. Ren is playing on a roleplay server. Bdubs can't decide if he wants to build, roleplay, or cause chaos. He chooses all of the above. BigB, however, is another interesting one. He is playing on a semi-independent survival politics server. He mostly keeps to himself and his alliances, and doesn't try to seek out kills. However, when he does end up talking to other players, it always feels like he is on a minefield. He is such a sweet and kind person, and most of this feeling is probably the effects of not wanting to upset his friends, but whenever he talks to others he makes the effort to stay happy and civil the whole time rather than messing with them or making threats like some of the other players on the server. I just think it is super interesting how the feeling of each point of view differs from person to person.

Maybe someone can combine these feelings and the aforementioned categories, but I'm too tired to do that right now. Anyway this was a rambling mess but it was a rambling mess that contained some sort of character study maybe so I'll take it! I hope you enjoyed the nonsense :)

This could not have come at a better time, I swear.

I have so, so much to talk about, but it’s all a bunch of random thoughts so it might not be all that coherent or well organized…

It’s also more than likely going to be a lot, so brace yourself

(Also, I will be yapping about the new Transformers movie, so in case anyone doesn’t want to know what happens, I suggest proceeding with caution. I won’t talk about it until the end though, and I’ll try to keep it as vague as possible, but the rest of my yapping can be read if you so please)

For starters, I feel absolutely awful that I haven’t been able to write or post as much since the school year’s started. I’m a lot busier than I thought I’d be, and I already expected to be extremely busy. School’s been going, well, though, so I’m happy with that. However, the one thing that I will complain about is that I don’t have a single class with my best friend until next semester and it makes both of us so mad (I know for a fact it’s not just me because the first few days he’d tell me he hated not having a class together this semester and how he misses spending time together)

This brings me onto my next point, which is that my best friend is the absolute best person I have ever known and I love and appreciate him so much. I’ve been struggling more than normal recently (which also contributed to the lack of writing and posts), and he has been nothing but supportive despite the fact that I don’t seem him as much this year as I did last year. Unlike some of my other friends, he makes an effort to talk to me as much as he can even if he’s busy and he doesn’t have time to talk until it’s almost midnight. Not to say my other friends don’t care, they just kinda forget at times that they told me they’d do this or that, so it’s nice to have that one friend who does his best to remember. His family is also super nice and I think it’s funny that both his parents just so happen to be the medical professionals in charge of the whole journey with me tearing my ACL and meniscus and getting those repaired. Definitely made the appointments much more bearable.

And now a complete 180 in what this segment of the yap is about.

The new Transformers movie!

I’ve already watched it once in 3D the day after it came out and I’m going with a group of friends to watch it again on Tuesday. We’re all super excited.

(Look away now if you don’t want spoilers, although I’ll do my best to avoid major ones. Just smaller ones that include references to other things)

THE MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!

Arguably one of the best Transformers movies ever made. It’s got such an incredible plot and expected twists that somehow felt unexpected.

I love all the different references to other media, too, including other Transformers shows and movies.

The soundtrack, for starters, is banger and I love how throughout the film you can hear callbacks and references to themes from other things in the franchise. The freaking Transformers Prime theme shows up more than once, which in hindsight makes sense because the guy who composed the music for that show composed the music for this movie, but still!! It’s awesome!

There’s even a reference to the Transformers predecessors (GoBots), which is something I didn’t notice until I thought back on it

And while the Quintessons are kinda made out to be a big part of the movie, the real antagonist is someone who you’d completely expect to be the antagonist but not in the way you’d think (I guess? Man, trying to explain without major spoilers is hard)

There’s also so many references to characters from both older and newer shows, and I am here for it! I love all the designs and how they look exactly like their G1 counterparts, but also have this new look to them.

Some of my favorites have gotta be Sideswipe and Sunstreaker’s designs. I think I also managed to see Perceptor and Red Alert in a few scenes, as well as Ironhide. Mirage and Infero, alongside Ratchet, Silverbolt, Slingshot, Dead End, Breakdown, Motormaster, and so many more are named in parts of the movie, but we never see them. I believe Hot Rod is also mentioned. What I wouldn’t give to see all their designs. Jazz was there, too! And you actually get to see him and hear his name (poor guy gets hurt at some point, but he’s fine in the end somehow)

I could go on and on about this movie for much longer, but we will be here for hours. I have already yapped about it to my family (no one paid me any real attention unless something caught their interest) and friends (so much that that’s the reason why we’re all going to see it in a couple days), but I am nowhere near done talking about it

Seeing this movie has also reignited the love I have for this franchise, which never really died in the first place, but it was kinda on the back burner for a bit because of other, newer interests and also because of school.

I went back and watched the first 1986 movie the day after seeing this new one because what else was I supposed to do? I’ve also been looking into ways to watch as much Transformers as I can, and it’s honestly been great

Jamil being too sexy for puritans to handle was definitely not on my 2k24 bingo card and yet here we are lol Shouldn’t be surprised about it though, the card is insane. Of course, the actual drama was about people acting allegedly inappropriately, but I don’t know what’s so inappropriate about looking at a sexy png with bedroom eyes and feeling like you want to give all of your possessions to that png. Sounds perfectly appropriate to me!

I am ok with a lot of 3 people ships; usually the main rule is that characters in our ships don’t switch (tops stay tops and bottoms stay bottoms), and we tend to gravitate towards two tops/one bottom combinations, although exceptions are possible.

With this particular character combination, while I absolutely love Rook’s delusions and fantasies about having these two specific cakes and eating both of them at the same time, I don’t really like having Leona in any proximity to Vil much… To be fair, I wouldn’t say it’s an absolute no-no: a boy (Rook) can dream, I am just not super crazy about it I guess. I see the vision though 🤔

To be honest, there isn’t any specific scenario that is behind those pics, but I vaguely wanted to make it seem like they just couldn’t argue anymore and started making out lol The tension got too strong, somehow they overstepped that boundary and got way too into it.

It’s been out in ways since Sunday morning? It’s Monday morning. I did already expect that from this apartment but don’t find the whole thing funny, as internet is so reliable now except in some types of places or maybe areas. The phone cuts off too, called the apartment number about the internet but don’t know where I hav me the internet provider number laying around. We can walk to the office. My fairly new iPhone 14 Pro Max, highest upgrade now, I left on loading something that was unusually still in progress, and I didn’t know I’d fall asleep for so many hours, this time. It used to work after awhile, but my 2 Google Chromebooks aren’t working. I’m looking at my internet connection, too, what are you internet connection people looking at? “Adults” today working like in service jobs are dull and stare at you idly and make you worked up and merely contribute to giving you a heart attack maybe later on and don’t think they have to do or so love diddlysquat.
