The bathroom was a haven of soft light, scented with lavender and vanilla. Steam curled around the edges of the clawfoot tub, a swirling cloud promising relaxation. You hummed softly, testing the water temperature before adding another generous dollop of bubble bath. The scent intensified, creating a sugary, cozy aroma.
A pair of arms wrapped around your waist from behind, a chin resting on your shoulder. "Smells good," a familiar voice mumbled, still thick with sleepiness.
"All for you, love," you grinned, turning in her embrace. She was wearing the silky pajamas you'd picked out – a celestial print of deep blues and shimmering silver moons. You were wearing the matching set, of course. "Ready to unwind?"
She nodded, her eyes already half-closed. "Been waiting all day."
Carefully, you peeled off her pajamas, hanging them on the nearby hook. Stepping into the now-overflowing tub together was a symphony of giggles. You settled behind her, your legs tangled together.
"Mmm," she sighed, leaning back against your chest. "This is nice."
"Thought you deserved it," you said, threading your fingers through her dark hair. You'd both had a busy week, and this was a chance to reconnect and simply be.
"Thank you," she murmured, her eyes closed.
You reached for the collection of sheet masks you'd laid out on the vanity. "Which one first? Hydrating or brightening?"
"Surprise me," she mumbled, her voice muffled.
You chose the hydrating mask, carefully smoothing it over her face. "Feels cold," she giggled, wiggling slightly.
"Just for a second," you said softly. "Now hold still, sleepyhead."
After applying your own mask, you grabbed the small speaker from the counter. "What kind of music are you feeling?" you asked.
"Whatever you pick," she replied, her voice lazy.
You chose a mellow playlist of acoustic covers, the soft melodies filling the space. Time seemed to slow down as you both soaked in the warm water, enveloped in bubbles and fragrant steam.
"Hey," she said after a few minutes of comfortable silence.
"Yeah?"
"What's your favorite thing about… I don't know… us?"
You thought for a moment, tracing patterns on her arm with your fingertips. "Probably the quiet moments like this," you said honestly. "Just being together, content and comfortable. No pressure, just… peace."
She turned her head slightly to look at you. "Me too," she said softly, nuzzling her face into your shoulder. "It's nice just to be normal, you know?"
You understood completely. The world saw her as a superstar, an icon. But with you, she could simply be herself.
Later, after rinsing the masks and patting your faces dry, you applied a rich moisturizer. Climbing into bed, the sheets cool against your skin, you pulled her close. She tucked her face into the crook of your neck, her breathing already evening out.
"Goodnight," you whispered.
"Night," she mumbled, her voice thick with sleep. "Love you."
"Love you more," you replied, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
As the moonlight streamed through the window, illuminating the soft features of the woman you loved, you knew this was a memory you would hold onto tightly. A simple, perfect night of love, laughter, and a little bit of self-care.
hope you enjoyed
— 💙

I 100% agree that canon Sally made choices against Percy’s best interest at times but I don’t necessarily think Gabe was one of them.
Let me explain, we do know that Sally knew about Poseidon and camp, there’s a very really possibility that she also knew about the prophecy to an extent. As in, she must have known her son would be in a crazy amount of danger just for being born. We know from the text that Poseidon waited until the last moment he could before claiming Percy, until his powers essentially revealed to the whole camp who he was. That’s how dangerous it was for him to be found out.
I really don’t think Percy should have been raised at camp, that fact that he had a well-meaning, loving mother is one of the biggest things that set him apart from Luke.
I do think she should have sent him to camp earlier than she did but not years earlier like maybe you were suggesting. I also agree that it was an inherently selfish decision to keep him close. She certainly didn’t do him any favors by sending him away to boarding school after boarding school where he was always the new kid, always harassed, and even physically punished by the teachers in one of them (staff of Hermes).
She was in an impossible situation and she made choices purely out of survival not stability or safety cause they had neither. But this way he wouldn’t be outright killed. But Percy is a child and he needs both, so he grows up with low self esteem, neglected, abused emotionally and physically, and without a single friend in the world with how often he changes schools. He can’t talk to his mother either because she’s a little in denial and when Percy asks hard questions she gets emotional, and he feels guilty when he upsets his mom so he stops asking altogether.
(I do believe that she went into the relationship with Gabe with her eyes open and maybe that made it harder for her to admit to herself that she was stuck, that the man she was sure she could face down near damn swallowed her whole, because she chose this, of course in her mind she was still in control but I digress. )
I think as soon as Grover and Chiron were in the picture she should have told him. Instead she told Grover not to do anything. There was a fury at the school, he was found out and attacked, why was he still there for an entire semester after the incident?
We know they didn’t tell her about the fury because we know she didn’t know. Chiron mishandled that big time because it was at that point that it became evident that whatever scent Gabe was hiding wasn’t working. Him following her wishes to the point of keeping Percy at school after an attack from a kindly one without even informing his mother of what happened is actually crazy. Hades found him and sent him a fury to his school. Right under chirons nose. Percy was serving detention with her late into the night sometimes. They should have called Sally and taken Percy to camp together. Instead he was gaslit by everyone to the point of questioning his sanity. Ran away form Grover when they met the fates and Grover still refused to say a word. Didn’t say anything to his mom because why would he at this point, who would even believe him?. Not to mention the very traumatic introduction to the demigod life by watching his mother die right in front of him.
I just think about all the individual choices that Sally, Grover, and Chiron made that led to that night on half blood hill and I think how much it didn’t need to happen.
All three of them failed him.
Sally Jackson choice safety over stability in terms of how she'd take care of her child. Both her and Percy faced years abuse by the hands of one man. Does this make her a good mother who was in over her head or an unprepared one making an impulsive decision?
You found the one hot take even I haven’t dared say aloud yet, because I think it may just be my most unpopular opinion in this fandom. One thing everyone in this fandom seems to agree on is the “universal truth” that Sally Jackson is the best mother in the history of fictional mothers. So, here’s my hot take:
Sally Jackson is not that perfect mother the fandom pretends she is.
Sally during the series? Presented as a loving and good mother. But to get to that point? Pre-series Sally is not written as a good mom; she’s written as a plot-device with the things the author needs to happen in mind and not the motivation of a good mother who prioritizes her child’s happiness and safety in mind.
And I’ll back that claim up with three ways in which Sally has failed Percy as a mother. Not just once, but repeatedly, for years.
But before we get into that, I’d like to switch what you said first. Sally Jackson chose stability over safety. Sally chose the stability of keeping her child at her side over said child’s safety. She made an inherently selfish decision that was not with her child’s best interest and overall safety in mind.
Now, the first - and most obvious one - is Smelly Gabe.
And before I can elaborate on that, I need to clarify one very important thing here, before anyone goes “don’t blame the victim!” on me: Sally Jackson is not a victim; she’s a fictional character. Fictional characters can be written as victims, but they are not autonomous people who make their own choices; their choices are very deliberately made by their author for them. And I want to look at the choices that went into writing her this way, writing her story this way.
Real abuse victims get stuck in abusive relationships for a variety of reasons and they don’t get out of them for equally various reasons. Most of the time, it’s something like “he was so sweet and kind at first, but by the time he showed his real face, it was too late” (and, as a note to that; Percy describes Gabe as having been nice to them for a total of thirty seconds before showing his real face. Now while that is, of course, and exaggeration, it still goes to say that Gabe was pretty much upfront about what kind of person he was).
I’ve never heard one start with “he was the most disgusting, grossest man I could possibly find”. Sally Jackson chose this man. Not just in the way one picks a partner. She went out there and chose the stinkiest, grossest man.
It was a deliberate choice on Riordan’s part to have Sally choose an abusive relationship over sending her son away for his own safety. And this decision did not keep Percy safe; Percy Jackson was abused in his own home, by a horribly stinking man, for six years of his life. That’s not keeping your child safe.
The choice was not made to keep Percy safe; the choice was made to keep Percy with Sally. It was inherently selfishly motivated; she didn’t want to send him away, she wanted to keep him with her.
Sally loves Percy, she loves him dearly and fiercely, I’m not arguing that. But that love led to her not wanting to let go of him. And sometimes, parenting means making tough choices, sometimes loving someone means you have to make a tough decision.
In this case, the tough decision” is presented as Sally bravely putting up with six years of abuse at Gabe’s hand. That’s the narrative chosen by the author.
But the actual “tough decision” would have been to send Percy to Camp Half-Blood, where he would have been safe. That’s the tough choice a mother would have had to make to keep her child safe.
That’s the tough choice the parents of most of the year-rounders have made. Mister Beauregard sent his daughter all the way from Paris to New York to give her this safety. The distance alone guaranteeing he wouldn’t see her for years potentially - because flying between New York and Paris is not necessarily easily affordable for everyone. Sally’s option was to send Percy to a camp that’s literally one and a half hours away. She could have still seen him, he could have easily visited her.
But her solution was to mask Percy’s scent by marrying a stinking, gross, abusive man.
Let me just stretch once more: Sally’s choice did not keep Percy safe. Sally’s choice made their home unsafe. It brought the danger and pain into their home. It may have moderately protected Percy from monsters - until The Lightning Thief kicked in - but it did not keep Percy actually safe, because it put him into a different kind of danger and through a different kind of pain.
For six years. And, this is where the “not a real person but a fictional character” thing comes up again, because this isn’t a woman where one choice leads to a date with a man which leads to a relationship which leads to abuse that she doesn’t know how to get out of anymore. She is a fictional character whose journey was set out to end with her being in an abusive relationship.
And we also don’t know why she didn’t get out of it. She’s not a real person, we don’t know if she was so scared of Gabe that she didn’t know how to leave, if her lack of a support system is what led to her not leaving him, or if it was the motivation of not giving up Percy. The real, actual reason is that Riordan wanted to keep her in there and keep Percy out of the loop until he was twelve and The Lightning Thief could happen. Because she was able of getting rid of him as soon as the truth unravelled and Percy met camp.
And I’d like to use the way she did that to drive back home just how bad Gabe was, just how bad the situation Sally and Percy were in for six years, really was.
She murders him. She flat-out murders him. Both, her and Percy, together. This twelve-year old child who we meet and get to know as kind and not... not a murder-child, is ready to kill a man. That’s how badly Gabe abused them; both of these kind people chose murder to get rid of him.
And it’s just something I’ve never gotten over. Riordan really made the decision that his protagonist’s mom would rather get them both into an abusive home than give Percy up to camp. That was his decision; there could have been other ways. One thing that would have made this seem less like a deliberate choice would have, for example, been Sally not knowing about camp.
If she was a desperate mother, who saw no other options? That’d have made the situation different too. But we know Sally knew about camp. She knew there was a place she could send her son where he would be safe from the monsters, but she decided against that, she decided that she wanted to keep him close, at any costs - and the cost was six years of abuse.
I do not think that this decision should be framed as a heroic sacrifice, because the fact that she knew of an actually safe solution and decided against it was inherently selfish. She did not put up with six years of abuse for selfless reasons because there was “no other way”; there was, she knew that, but the author didn’t want her to take that.
Sometimes, the sacrifice is letting go of your child. And, as mentioned before, she wouldn’t have let go of him for good - camp is in the same bloody city as she is living. Literally one and a half hours away from her.
Now on to the other two ways in which I think Sally Jackson failed Percy.
For one, the lies about his father. Now, real people who are left by their partner with a baby, they can pick whatever to tell their kids whenever. But, again, this is a fictional character and the author makes the decision for her. And this, again, was a decision made solely based on the end result; Riordan needed Percy to not be in the know by the time The Lightning Thief came around, even though from a character-perspective, telling Percy the truth earlier would have been the logical and right decision.
If your kid is a demigod who is attracting real actual monsters with his scent alone? Percy started really attracting monsters when he was six years old and for the next six years, Sally didn’t disclose the truth to him; not about monsters, not about his father, not about the fact that Percy may have powers.
Percy attracted so many monsters that it led to Sally getting married to Gabe. That’s how badly he attracted monsters. Which also implies that Percy must have seen monsters. We get to see in The Lightning Thief just how much Percy thinks he’s going crazy with the things he sees. And that’s been going on for six years too - six years and in those, his scent only got stronger.
This, again, isn’t just one decision she made. This is a decision she made every single day over and over again. The decision not to tell Percy about his father, the powers, the simple reassurance that he’s not going insane, that monsters are real. This was Percy’s reality and it would obviously only become more and more of an issue the older Percy got, but every single day, she chose not to tell him, to let him believe not just a lie but also steadily that he was going crazy.
And it’d have gone a long way if he had just known. Even with Gabe in their life, even if she hadn’t made the choice to send him to camp at age six, it’d have helped him so much to know the truth and be prepared for this life.
Because this wasn’t just an issue of “the guy left me, I don’t want to talk about it with my kid”, this was inherently about, once more, Percy’s safety. Knowing what to watch out for, knowing the thing you should watch out for is actually real, are huge factors in Percy’s safety. Having him as well-prepared as possible.
She knew his father was Poseidon. It’s not even that she had sex with some dude, not knowing who he was. She knew he was Poseidon. She knew what Percy’s parentage was, she must have observed the slow development of Percy’s powers over the years.
But again, she chose to leave him in the dark about it. He could have been well-prepared by age twelve. Read up everything on Poseidon, experimented with potential powers he may have, understanding why the fishes in the aquarium are talking to him and that he is not actually hearing voices, learning.
But that’s not useful for the author; Riordan wants an unprepared Percy who can be used to introduce this world to the reader.
The choice to not tell Percy the truth about his father and about being a demigod was made deliberately and, again, not in Percy’s best interest. And in this case, there really is no other interpretation left aside from “the author needs it to happen this way” - with Gabe, there is the legitimate argument that she may have been at one point just an abused woman stuck in a relationship with no out because we don’t know enough to know what her motivation and situation were exactly - but there is... no benefit at all in lying to Percy about this, no reason for it.
The moment he first started being in actual life-threatening danger because monsters came after him, it became a pressing matter to tell him what monsters are, that they are real and why they are after him and to prepare him for it.
Which brings me to the third instance.
She never prepared him - even just in a mortal manner. Even if we let the first two - the marriage to Gabe and the lies about his father - stand as they are, Sally could have done something very simple to prepare Percy for his life and to help keeping him safe.
Self-defense classes. Judo. Martial arts. Sword-fighting classes. Whatever.
Many parents teach their kids these kind of things from a young age. Parents whose kids aren’t in constant danger of being attacked by monsters. One of your first parental instincts should be to teach your kid to be safe; to protect themselves. Give him the means to fight back.
So, that’s it. That’s the three very vital and important instances in which I think Sally failed Percy as a mother; not just once, but repeatedly, for years.
Instead of sending him to a safe place where he could learn about his heritage and learn control of his powers as well as learning how to fight the monsters after his life, she chose to marry an abusive, smelly man whose scent would mask Percy’s. Probably. Hopefully. But it didn’t really, not all the time. As shown by The Lightning Thief and monsters coming after Percy. And Percy starts to think he’s crazy, because at no point did she tell him about the monsters, and at no point does he really know how to fight for his life, because at no point did she put the means to defend himself into his hands.
No. No, I do not think that those are the decisions a good mother would make. Those are decisions the author made because he knew the starting point of his story and he knew where Percy’s character needed to be for that.
The thing that’s glossed over are the choices Riordan implicitly made Sally make. To get to this point for Percy, at age 12, he had to make Sally repeatedly act against Percy’s best interests and deliberately not tell Percy the truth or teach him way to stay safe. So he masks those choices by putting on a framework that’s meant to make you only look at her suffering and the outcome, not the choices that led to it. That was Riordan’s choice and he framed it in a way that the fandom ate up and celebrates, when... neither Sally, nor Riordan, had do to that. There was another option on the table and, if Riordan had sat down and thought hard, I’m pretty sure there would have been more options.
The bottom line, what Sally’s parenting comes down to in the end, is that she and Percy got stuck with an abusive man for six years, because she didn’t want to send him to an actual safe place, she spent six years essentially gaslighting Percy about the things he hears/sees by not telling him the monsters are actually real and she repeatedly left him in unnecessary danger by not giving him the means to defend himself in any way whatsoever. And those are not signs of good parenting, not in my book.
But it’s just so much easier to ignore all of that and pretend that blue candy and trips to Montauk are the end all be all and that Sally’s fierce love for her son is the most defining trait of parenting. I know that. Most of the time, I’m right there with you - I love fanon!Sally, I love to pretend she’s the best mom ever and never did anything wrong, because I know the decisions are inherently made by Riordan and are a by-product; I know he wants her to be a good mother, I know throughout the series, he writes her as a good and loving mother.
But if I have to be honest and if I look at the whole text, including the implications of their past, canon!Sally isn’t that good of a mother.
#I also think a part of it is Percy absolutely refusing to blame her for anything cause she’s all he has#and he doesn’t want to unpack some of the damage that she caused#because then he’ll have to come to terms with the fact that his mom made choices that knowingly hurt him regardless of the situation#this could have been a great arc about kids idolizing their parents and coming to terms with the fact that their human too#but ahh that implies that riordan is capable of complex storylines#sally jackson#Percy Jackson#tlt#pjo

au by @alli-ily << i've been meaning to join this au for a little while now hehehe
*click for better quality LMAO,,, sorry i have no idea why it's so fucked up but i did transcript the important stuff down here if you want
sir? dame? siyun (aka azul's worst nightmare)
"though they are very capable, they're quite unpopular with nobles as they tend to disobey even direct orders if they figure that there is a more efficient way to do things. they're also a little too honest for high society's taste."
siyun hails from far away lands, practically another world (hehe nod to them being a yuu). it is known that they have two younger siblings and that their parents are both well but it seems that they are no longer in contact.
...ashengrotto despises them (they give him SO many headaches, FREE HIM 🙏🙏)
some more stuff utc,, ARGHHH I BRAINROT OVER AUS LIKE THIS SO FAST💔💔💔 it's the evil manhwa lover in me
ALRIGHT SOOO.... the reason why i keep mentioning azul is because In My Head (please correct me if i'm wrong/you don't want me making up stuff HELPPP i didn't know what to go off aside that there's a bunch of kingdoms and nobles), he was accused/is suspected of embezzlement and siyun was dispatched to monitor him.
...they might as well be the bane of his existence honestly. embezzlement is likely the one crime he has yet to commit but with a highly competent knight keeping a close eye on him, it's gotten a lot harder for him to do anything that is remotely not outstanding-member-of-society material, which pisses him off to no end (...that's kinda just his own assumptions though LMAO, siyun does NOT care that much about the matters of some rich merchant,, unless someone gets hurt that is).
ANYWAYS. this made me think i should probably write down how they feel about lady ariya and prince shin
starting with lady ariya
siyun truly admires her resolve to clear her family's name. but they also can't help but feel something akin pity for her, the path she chose for herself will be long and arduous, especially alone—very few manage to walk out, head held high and pride intact. still, she seems like a promising young lady and siyun is a hopeful person, "i will assist you should you ever call for me."
prince shin (@liyuviq)
humble beginnings, big responsibilities. it's a bit presumptuous, but siyun sort of relates to the illegitimate prince. perhaps not fully—they never experienced Suddenly Being A Royal and sincerely hoped they never would, even in another universe. however, they can relate to the whiplash, the struggle to cram into a few months—no, weeks—everything the other nobles learned over the years, the stares, the whispers... they remember how it all felt, and when they look at their highness shin, they can only hope that they will rise through it all. "then again, i do know i am not your highness. perhaps you don't feel even a fraction of the dread that filled me back then—i would be very glad if so."
i hope i'm not overstepping 👉👈,, aghh also open for interactions for anyone interested hdhdhhdshd, i haven't checked the tag yet HELP
as for the hypothetical target of their affection,,, i fear it may be butler jade 💀💀........... I'M A SUCKER FOR BUTLER X KNIGHT ARCHETYPE 💔💔💔ALSO I BRAINROT OVER YUNDE 2MUCH💔AH AND quick lore rundown

i imagine their knighthood still stands in another empire—or kingdom,,, sorry my knowledge of the world building here is a little vague HDUAJHF. anyway the point is that they are skilled enough for the royal family themselves to take them under their heavy golden wing—until the ashengrotto accusations and they're given bits and pieces of their freedom back.

hey! this is my first post here and i want to talk about naruto and his thoughts regarding sakuras confession.
we know that one of narutos biggest traits is understanding people if their feelings reflect his own.
why am i bringing this up? well, bc in a panel naruto was thinking about some specific sakura scenes, in which she was showing her feelings towards sasuke.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/deb36e5a54257083132f15feb468aece/61841a0abaf0c61b-53/s540x810/219aab123ee9e12c5a9266e8d20889f70cbcc36f.jpg)
but what we didn't notice is that in those specific scenes, there were also some of narutos feelings involved.
☆
in the first panel, sakura was admitting that she only valued sasukes opinion and wanted to be close to him, because she has a crush on sasuke. since naruto was a child, he wanted to be friends with him, to be close to him, because he noticed that sasuke was lonely as well. in that scene, sakura also confessed that she wanted to be acknowledged by sasuke.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/74e5878e0df325727fb84f30c5b656fa/61841a0abaf0c61b-4f/s540x810/996bd38577d50d821c3b2a3a56a701a8099f1a5e.jpg)
and narutos first thought was this.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2282d130af0b3c2be52496c3e8d46493/61841a0abaf0c61b-d3/s540x810/29591435df088c9a738ab719a31a7fc914064426.jpg)
"i feel like i finally understand why i like her."
naruto wanted sasukes acknowledgement, which he admitted it himself in their first fight at the valley of the end.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/3e51568246734a3475f430143c9d8304/61841a0abaf0c61b-03/s540x810/485d2ac6b381605916558691b922b5075f72755f.jpg)
☆
the second scene is sakura hugging an injured sasuke after he woke up from a coma. sakura confirmed to sasuke that naruto was still alive and then she screamed after naruto, happy that sasuke was back.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/90fc2308471cf4195ac196c4fd05de43/61841a0abaf0c61b-1a/s540x810/aebd46f010ab6213197e57a0c984b332a1e6002e.jpg)
im not entirely sure, but ive read somewhere that sasuke raising his hand is his way of hugging someone. either way, look how relieved naruto is <3 my cutie pie.
☆
the third panel shows a crying sakura after sasuke left the village. she searched for naruto and made him promise to bring sasuke back. naruto looked at her knowingly and said to her.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/f993adcc5be7e57cc85808d95895d5a3/61841a0abaf0c61b-d8/s540x810/7e371d31e587e24d605d1c9d6d2742af3908fb51.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1e8446b452af1859dce8bacb26a6de78/61841a0abaf0c61b-2a/s540x810/29439c3282f40e0922e9475111ad7470d6f13234.jpg)
naruto understands people if his feelings reflect the others, he understood sakuras pain for sasuke because it reflected his own. it is pretty self-explanatory since naruto already saw sasuke as a friend and a part of his family. he was hurt when sasuke chose orochimaru over team 7.
yet he understood sakuras love for sasuke which it's classified as romantic since the start, meaning chapter 3.
☆
the fourth scene is sakura telling naruto she'll come with him after the failed mission of bringing sasuke back. when she left, jiraiya came to visit naruto and basically told him to stop acting foolish since sasuke already chose his path of revenge and how he should focus on his goal : becoming a hokage. here, naruto gets mad and confessed.

☆
the last scene shows a shocked sakura, mumbling sasukes name after not seeing him for years. when naruto heard her mumbling sasukes name, he rushed outside, letting his guard down.

and then they proceed to hold an intense eye contact, not looking anywhere else but at each other. when sasuke left, naruto was in so much pain and kept thinking how useless he was for not being able to bring him back.
☆
all these bottled up feelings make him snap and confess this.

he understood sakura lying to herself because he was also lying to himself about his feelings. he lied about liking sakura to push down his feelings for sasuke. later, he also admitted that even if the promise between the two didn't matter anymore, he would still try to bring sasuke back : for his sake.

Ch10 | The Piteous Life of Dr. Stevens' New Wife
Killmonger AU
Created By: Erikftglitter
Erik might be the sweetest man in the world. At least from Kari’s perspective. Kari woke up to the smell of savory food and low music. Memories of the morning began flowing through her mind. If it wasn’t for the ache of her muscles then she wouldn’t have believed that it was real.
Erik appeared after a few moments. He sat on the edge of the bed and admired Kari. He pulled back the blanket to access the damage. Just as he predicted Kari was covered in love bites and bruises. He didn’t flip her over but he knew that her ass was quite red as well.
“I ran a bath.” Erik softly announced. Kari was thankful for his strength. She didn’t realize that her body was sore until she tried to put pressure on her legs. She tried to hide the wince but of course Erik seen it.
“Call me if you need me.” Erik kissed her forehead before disappearing into the bedroom. Kari’s mind began to wander about the morning’s events.
How’d I get here, Kari thought. Erik was the perfect person for her and she loved every second that she spent with him. What was the catch?
“D-did you like it?” Kari couldn’t help but to ask Erik once he reappeared in the bathroom. She hadn’t had sex in years and Erik was just different. This wasn’t the sex that she was used to.
“Like what?” Erik was confused. Did he like the dinner selection? The one he chose and paid for?
“Us. You know. The sex.” Kari wanted to bury herself underneath the bubbles in the bath. Erik’s eyebrows slightly raised before resuming back to their normal position.
“I did. We can talk about it after dinner.” Erik suggested before helping the girl get washed up.
Kari decided to wear comfy clothes to dinner. Her body felt sore and she didn’t feel like wearing tight clothing. Erik assured her that she looked great regardless.
He would also agree.
Erik made both of their plates. He was fond of the drowsy look of Kari in front of him. Soon she wouldn’t have to worry about anything else but being in the house to entertain him. Erik was sure of it. The poor girl could barely walk on her own. It’d be irresponsible for him to send her to work so fucked out. Right?
Kari’s eyes lit up to the meal in front of her. Garlic butter steak bites, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. This was a great meal to wake up to after being put to sleep.
Kari felt something that she couldn’t quite explain. She felt drawn to the doctor in the present moment. She just wanted him to know that he was appreciated. She didn’t seem to process her own words until she heard them.
“Thank you daddy.”
If Erik was surprised by her words then he showed no emotion. His utensils remained steady in his hands and his face was still.
“The pleasure is mine kitten.” Erik’s response knocked Kari out of her trance. She mentally cheered at the fact that he returned the energy. She’s afraid of scaring him away and letting the fairytale come to an end.
Erik can’t say that he’s surprised by Kari’s words, but he can say that he enjoyed it.
Let’s take it a step further, shall we?
“Kari,” Her eyes quickly darted up to meet his, surprised by the use of her first name.
“Sit here. Why don’t you?” Erik suggested.
Kari quickly stumbled over to him, ignoring the way that her body ached with each step. He pulled her up to his lap and looked down at the woman.
She leaned back into his wandering arms, his hands trailing along her hips and thighs.
“I’ve made some arrangements while you were sleeping." Erik started, pausing to chew the last of the food on his fork. "You’re to be at my condo whenever you’re not teaching.” Erik ordered.
Kari’s heart sank. She tried to raise her body from his but was unsuccessful. He kept her in place and didn’t even bother to look down at her.
“Eat your food before it gets cold.” He demanded, but his tone never changed. He was unfazed by the look of confusion on her face. Erik didn’t like repeating himself and Kari now knew that.
“So that’s it? Erik you’re joking. Right?” Kari retorted, only being able to reposition herself due to Erik resuming his meal.
She didn’t miss the way that he glared down at her. She also hated how turned on that made her. Erik’s presence was intoxicating. Some part of Kari didn’t know why she questioned him. Why wouldn’t she want to see him on the regular? But this was insanity.
Erik ignored her. She watched him eat his food and was quickly reminded of her own task. She couldn’t take anymore blows to her sore cheeks tonight so she quietly ate her food.
Kari was ready to put some distance between the two of them. She needed a moment to recollect her thoughts. What did this mean? She didn’t have any close girlfriends to share this with, but would she share something like this? What would she say?
She was relieved when she finished her food. She promptly took their dishes off of the table so that she could wash them and be alone for a little bit.
Erik’s hands on her hips stilled her. She hated how much she enjoyed the hand placement. If she was upset with him then her body betrayed her feelings. She leaned into every touch and quickly lost her initial plans.
Erik seemed to know this. He knew that he just dropped a bombshell but he figured that he shouldn’t wait. Kari wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon and it’d be nice to establish that now.
“You rushing away from me baby?” Erik asked, humor laced in his tone. He knew exactly what he was doing. He's come to know Kari better than she had realized. She could never stand on her initial feelings after Erik touches her and he knew it.
"No. Just cleaning." Kari sighed. Without having her own place, what would she do when she needed to debrief? Did they need to live together right now? Was this a post sex agreement that she signed up for?
"Mhmm." Erik nodded. "And it has nothing to do with the fact that you're moving in to my condo?" He eyed Kari carefully, sure to watch her body language.
"No because I know you don't mean that shit so stop acting like you do." Kari finally found her thoughts and walked away with their dishes. It wasn't long before Erik was on her heels.
"If you got some shit on your mind Kari just be a big girl and say what you need to say." He was everywhere that she turned and there was no escaping him. He wanted this conversation now.
"I'm not even your girlfriend. Why would I leave my home to be in yours all alone?" The thing that had been bothering Kari was finally revealed. She still couldn't tell if they were exclusive and she really liked the doctor's company. She also didn’t understand why she would be alone in his condo when she had an abundance of space at home.
"Let me get this straight. I tell you to come and live with me and you think that I would have other women in the equation?" Erik's fingertips rested in between his eyebrows.
"Kari. Would you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" He's almost certain that this is the only way to get the girl to calm down. He also doesn't mind the title. She belonged to him regardless.
"I'd like to hear your answer kitten." Erik prompted. Kari was looking up at him with a frown on her face but Erik wasn't budging.
"Yes Erik. I'll be your girlfriend." She rolled her eyes at him for ignoring her previous head nod as an answer.
"Great. Now you can think of this as an extended stay at your man's house." Erik concluded.
"You shouldn't be in this huge home alone and you'll always be in my reach. Is that really such a bad thing Kari?" Erik was doing it again. He would make his point then softly rub his hands down Kari's body. Kari could never think straight like this.
"Yeah yeah." Kari dismissed him half jokingly as she escaped his grasp. Erik took that as an opportunity to segway to his next announcement.
"I got something else for you." Erik disappeared from the kitchen to retrieve the items. Kari was willing to admit that he was definitely full of surprises.
"If you're going to be unlocking your submissive mind then I figured you would need these." The look on Erik's face is smug as he hands Kari two velvet boxes.
“I’m nervous.” Kari breathed out. The uncertainty of the boxes and being under Erik’s gaze made her start to feel anxious.
Starting with the larger royal box first, Kari’s hands opened to lid to reveal a studded piece of what she assumed to be jewelry.
“Wow.” The doctor was pretty pleased with himself. He took the piece out of Kari’s hands to properly fasten the piece.
“If you didn’t think that you were mine by this time Kitten, I have to say I’m a little bit disappointed.” Erik spoke after taking a moment to appreciate Kari’s appearance.
“I got this choker made just for you. Open up the next one. I like that one even more.” Erik watched as Kari’s hand trembled slightly.
The second royal blue box held the most lustrous pair of panties that Kari had ever seen. She was confused by the surprising amount of weight to them. As her eyes glanced over the glistening jewels along the waistband, she realized that she overlooked the small device that was underneath the panties.
“Erik what is this?” She eyed him suspiciously. The dimples of the man appearing confirmed Kari’s suspicion. There was definitely something very obvious about these panties that she was missing.
“Just a little something to wear to the Governor’s ball.” Erik casually replied. There was nothing causal about it.
“I now live with you. I’m your girlfriend and I’m also attending the governor’s ball. What’s next Erik we getting married?”
Kari sighed. She wasn’t upset, actually there was something inside of Kari that was deeply satisfied, but she hadn’t had a moment to process a damn thing yet. Erik was not one to spoon feed change.
“I can make that happen.” Of course Erik was going to be a smart ass about it. “Is this not what you wanted and what you begged for not too long ago?” Erik was behind her again.
“Huh Kari? When you was begging for this dick did you not think about what it came it?” Kari wanted to object. She wanted to calculate a logical argument and argue that this was extreme but her body betrayed her. She loved this. She needed this and surely Erik knew that.
“This my world baby. We do what I want. You got that?” If it wasn’t for the heat that radiated from Erik’s body, Kari would think that she’s dreaming.
“Yes daddy. I got that.” It was now Kari’s turn to stun the doctor. That instinctual submissive nature embedded in Kari is exactly why she’s in this predicament.
“Yeah gone head and take these off.”

I can’t even say that this is late due to procrastination. It was just anxiety lol.

hi! curious as to what you think about the comparison of aang giving up cosmic energy for katara and percy rejecting immortality for annabeth? i genuinely do not think they are the same because percabeth knew each other for years and gradually evolved from friends to lovers, in which their feelings were mutual. most importantly, him rejecting immortality did not have any negative bearing on the future of the world. as for aang, he gave up the avatar state, which he needed to save the world/defeat ozai. he risked it because of his obsession with katara, who at the time did not reciprocate his feelings at all.
hi! I agree that Percy rejecting immortality comes across as very romantic because, well, he already saved the world! Plus he was able to leverage his rejection of immortality to help people like him. That said, while I don't find the cosmic energy arc in ATLA romantic, I can't find it in myself to blame Aang in-universe. It's one of those "damn this kid is 12, he's lost everything, and I can't believe he has to make these decisions" moments of the show that made me feel super bad for him, and even if I disagree with his choice I understand why he made it.
However! I do have a HUGE problem with the arc, and it lies entirely with how the writers made Katara a damsel. They never gave Aang the opportunity to see Katara as another hero, like him.
Katara is not a Chosen One like Aang, but she still chose to be a hero. In episode 1, Katara chooses to stand up for Aang against her community. A few episodes later, she gets herself tossed into prison to free Haru and earthbenders. She demonstrates again and again that she's not worried about her own safety, as long as she's doing the right thing and protecting others.
There's a bit of dramatic irony in Crossroads of Destiny where Aang has this vision of Katara struggling in chains and looking every inch the damsel...meanwhile we the audience know that Katara is alive and well and yelling at Zuko. Then Aang goes off to save her, only for her to save him instead. He has that moment of “I’m sorry Katara” where he tries to access the Avatar State, implying that he’s letting her go, as if this is a decision about him — as if the decision to save Katara was about Aang’s attachment to her, rather than their shared values.
Even after the Ba Sing Se scare, it never seemed to occur to Aang to ask Katara what she would have wanted, and I assume this is because it never crossed the writers' minds that Katara is anything but a character development object for Aang when it comes to their romance. Would Katara be willing to sacrifice her own safety so that Aang can defeat Ozai? Uh, yes, least of all because she's scrappy and she would've figured something out to save herself (recall this was neither the first nor the last time Katara ended up in prison — is Katara the only ATLA character who’s thrown in jail every season? I think so lmao). But even if she wants Aang to let the world burn and prioritize her over his duties as the Avatar, the point is that she deserves a say.
Katara will presumably one day need to choose between love and duty. These are supposed to be shared burdens when two heroes love each other. Sokka and Suki, a secondary ship, got a whole arc where Sokka learns he doesn't have to save Suki because she has agency and she also wants to save him! But what did Ka/taang get? Nothing of the kind. It’s not clear if Katara even knows that Aang was about to give up the Avatar State for her, because they never talk about it!
I think other people have talked at length about how in ATLA, Katara is her own character and her own person with her own journey...except when she’s written as Aang’s love interest. The cosmic energy/Avatar State fiasco is another example of that.
#pro aang#but#anti kataang#anti bryke#seriously what the hell was this#Katara deserved better#my meta#can i ask you a question?

CHAPTER 09 - once you go in, there's no turning back (hwang in ho x reader)
>> MASTERLIST
previous chapter | next chapter
----
You cupped your hands under the cold stream, letting the water pool on your palms as you brought it up to your face. The coolness sipped into your skin, a brief moment of relief as the tension in your temples eased. Droplets ran down your cheeks as it traced on to your jawline. You looked at yourself in the mirror as you dried yourself up, seeing Jun-hee behind, much to your surprise.
"Jesus, you scared me," your breath hitched as you rubbed the water away from your face using your shirt.
Jun-hee chuckled as you motioned to the side, awaiting her turn as she bowed to you. She moved forward to the sink to check herself in the mirror, then splashed some water on her face. Your skin felt refreshed, though you wished you had your skincare products with you to make you even feel better.
You went behind Jun-hee as both of you walked out of the bathroom, making your way towards the labyrinth of stairs down to the dormitory. You noticed Gi-hun, Jung-bae, Dae-ho, and In-ho already packing the beds, but the mattresses were being placed beneath the bedframes.
"Lights out in ten minutes," the voice said on the speakers. "Please prepare for bedtime."
"Pass it to me," you heard Gi-hun say as you walked near them, seeing them arranging the mattresses like a fort. The mattresses seemed clean, but its dust plumed into the air much to your sneeze as Jung-bae swatted his hand away from the dust.
"Bless you," Jung-bae said to you as you wiped your nose/ You sniffed, feeling the dust still lurking somewhere in your nostrils, only for you to sneeze again.
"God," you complained, turning away from the mattresses. "Please, excuse me."
"Excused," In-ho muttered. His voice was almost low but still audible for you, yeet you chose to ignore it.
"Is this really necessary? I don't like sleeping under there," Jung-bae complained, looking at the mattress being put under the bed with disgust.
"Once the lights go out, somebody might attack us," Gi-hun explained, his eyes fixed on the mattress he was arranging.
"What? Who?" Dae-ho asked, placing a mattress in front as a blockage, while Jun-hee held out the blankets.
"The prize money still goes up if we kill each other," Gi-hun said, his voice dark. "It's part of the game they designed."
"Seems like it," you said, nodding to Gi-hun in agreement. "This wasn't about the games anymore. They clearly want to see us fight up there. Some sort of a test for humanity, something like that."
In-ho scoffed from behind. "I think you're overreacting here. Even if that were true, people wouldn't do that."
As you were about to retort, Gi-hun turned away and faced In-ho, his expression dark but fearful. "In the previous games, dozens of people killed each other at night," Gi-hun pointed to the ground, his words pronounced every detail. "Right here." He sighed deeply as he continued. "You have no idea how people can change in this place."
In-ho looked away, sighing in defeat as he gave a small nod. "All right. I guess I didn't know what I was talking about. I'm sorry."
You raised an eyebrow, sensing his words with no hint of sincerity, as if it was perfectly memorized. Like it was an automatic response. You went back to your senses and listened more to Gi-hun, whose back was turned on In-ho. "Once it's lights out, we need to take turns keeping watch. I'll take the first watch. You should decide the order for the rest."
"I'll take after Gi-hun," Jung-bae raised his hand, then he looked at you and Jun-hee. "Both of you should get a good night's sleep for the rest of the night. It would also be better if you sleep at the bottom for your safety."
"I can handle myself," you assured, waving your hand as if to dismiss the idea. You turned to Jun-hee and gave her a small smile. "You can sleep for the rest of the night, Jun-hee."
Jun-hee nodded as she made her way to the mattress, seemingly wanting to sleep. She needed a lot of rest for her to get ready for the next games, hopefully to make it out in the end.
"I'll take watch after brother Jung-bae," Dae-ho said, giving a salute to Jung-bae, to which he returned. The two marines exchanged handshakes.
"That leaves me then," In-ho said, then he looked at you. "You can take watch after me."
You nodded and proceeded to get your blanket and pillow along with Jun-hee's, deciding to sleep beside her at night to accommodate her needs. You weren't knowledgeable on how to care for a pregnant woman, but you should at least try. You felt a sense of protectiveness for her, tucking her in.
You positioned yourself on the bed, placing a blanket over you. The lights dimmed as the piggy bank's light illuminated around the area. You could feel your eyelids drooping, growing heavier with every passing second. The world around you blurred, the edges of reality softening as your body sank deeper into the mattress. You could feel every muscle in your body ached with fatigue. No matter how hard you tried to stay alert, your body had already decided - there was no fighting it anymore.
----
Sleep had barely settled into your bones before something stirred you awake. Your eyes cracked open sluggishly, your mind swimming through the heavy fog of exhaustion. The world around was still wrapped in darkness, the dim lighting from the piggy bank overhead casting eerie shadows along the bunk beds. Your limbs felt weighted and slow to respond, and cold air stung against your exposed skin, making you shiver.
You slid out of the mattress, careful not to wake Jun-hee up. You rubbed your eyes as you blinked, sluggishly adjusting to reality.
And then, you saw In-ho.
He sat a few feet away, his back straight, his gaze fixed somewhere beyond the sleeping bodies. He barely moved, barely even blinked, his silhouette rigid against the dim glow of the room. The sharp angles of his face were softened by darkness, but there was something unnerving about how still he was.
You moved slowly and quietly as you approached him, only for him not to react much. He didn't even flinch, didn't turn his head, but you knew he was aware of you.
You hesitated before lowering yourself onto the floor beside him, mirroring his posture - leaning back against the bunk, legs stretched out, knees barely grazing. The silence between you was thick, but not suffocating. Not yet, anyway.
"You can sleep," you spoke up as his eyes flicked towards you. "It's my turn to watch."
"The lights will open in a few hours. It's no use to sleep now," In-ho replied as he returned his eyes to the shadows ahead.
You nodded, letting the quiet settle again. You closed your eyes a bit as you could still feel a bit of sense of grogginess, but fixed yourself up when you felt dozing off again.
The room was steeped in silence, save for the occasional rustle of bodies shifting in sleep. The longer you sat there, the more the exhaustion sank into your bones, making your mind wander to places it shouldn't. Your fingers absently traced the fabric of your pants as your thoughts had already slipped somewhere else. Before you could stop it, the memory surfaced - your father.
The same silence. The same kind that used to stretch between you and him, late at night, when you'd wake up and find him sitting alone in the living room, a bottle of beer long gone cold in front of him. He would watch a movie while drinking, enjoying the rest of his night with a cigarette on hand.
You would watch the same movie to help you go back to sleep as he would gesture toward the chair across from him. And you'd sit, just like this, neither of you speaking, both of you staring at the TV in front of you. It was something unspoken, but shared.
You weren't sure why you thought of him now. Maybe it was the stillness. The weight of unspoken things hanging in the air. Or maybe it was In-ho himself - the way he sat there, unreadable, distant in a way that felt too familiar.
The thought made your chest tighten, your throat constricting around something you weren't ready to name.
"Appa used to sit like this," you murmured before you could stop yourself.
You felt In-ho shift beside you - just barely, just enough that you knew he had heard. He didn't turn to face you, didn't press for more, but he was listening.
Your fingers curled slightly against your knee as you exhaled. You didn't mead to say it, but now the words were out, lingering between you both, impossible to take back.
"He'd just sit there at night while watching a movie, thinking about things he never talked about."
In-ho didn't speak, but his breathing was steady, his presence solid beside you. The moment stretched, heavy with something neither of you had the energy to unpack.
"He passed away recently," you swallowed, feeling an ache on your chest. In-ho's faze flickered toward you, seeing his eyes with shock and... worry. "Hemorrhagic stroke. I was getting ready for work when eomma called me and said that they rushed him to the hospital. He suddenly felt dizzy and passed out in the ambulance. The doctors said he was in critical condition," you felt tears forming in your eyes as your voice cracked. "I rushed to the emergency room that day. The doctors said they couldn't do a surgery on him anymore. There was no brain activity anymore and his body was only relying to the machine. We went home and waited for more news. It took a while for us to decide but then..."
Your voice cracked, and before you knew it, the tears came - hot, unstoppable, burning their way down your cheeks. You bit down on your lip as if that would keep the sob from escaping, but it only made your shoulders shake harder, your breath coming in sharp, uneven gasps.
"When we were on the way back to the hospital, the doctors tried to revive him twice. As if he was waiting for us. When we arrived, we decided to take the medicines off and let him pass naturally. And just like that, in just a few hours, he was gone."
It wasn't just the fact that he was gone. The fact that life had ripped him away from you, without warning, without time to prepare. That there had been so many things left unsaid, so many moments you thought you'd have, but never would.
You pressed the heels of your palms against your eyes, trying to smother the sobs, trying to control yourself, but it was useless. You weren't just crying - you were breaking, unraveling right in front of him.
In-ho was still silent. But he hadn't left.
His fingers twitched slightly against his knee, like he had considered doing something - but in the end, he stayed still.
You sucked in a breath, swallowing back another sob. "I don't even know why I'm telling you this," you whispered, your voice raw, shaking.
For a moment, you thought he wouldn't respond. But then, softly, he said, "Because he mattered."
You blinked, fresh tears slipping down your cheeks.
In-ho exhaled, tilting his head slightly, his gaze fixed on the floor. "People like that... they don't really leave us. They just... stop being where we can reach them."
Something about the way he said it made your breath catch. It sounded too familiar, too knowing, like he was speaking from experience.
You wiped your tears away with your sleeve, trying to steady yourself, but the weight in your chest didn't disappear. It wouldn't, not for a long time.
In-ho didn't offer anything else. No empty reassurances. No forced words of sympathy.
But he stayed. And somehow, that was enough.
You could feel his gaze on you, heavy and assessing, but he didn't speak. You turned your face away as if hiding it would somehow take away the humiliation of breaking in front of him.
In-ho's fingers ghosted over your wrist before retreating, hesitant, like even the smallest act of comfort was something foreign to him.
You sniffled, forcing a shaky breath. "You don't have to pretend to care."
In-ho exhaled through his nose, something like amusement, something like frustration. "I'm not pretending."
You turned to him, expecting coldness, indifference. But instead, you found something else. His gaze was unreadable, but there was something softer, something hesitant in the way his lips parted like he wanted to say more but wouldn't.
And then, you felt his lips against yours. It was brief, deliberate. Not desperate, not hurried - but real.
His lips were warm against yours, and for the first time in what felt like forever, you didn't feel cold. His grip on you tightened as he pulled you closer, surrendering to the moment.
But then, the light came on. The bright, harsh, unforgiving light illuminating the room.
You barely had time to register the words before In-ho pulled away, the warmth between you vanishing as quickly as it had come. His expression was unreadable again, as if the moment had never happened.
"The third game will begin momentarily. All players, please get out of bed and get ready."
----
The moment the heavy doors slid open, a stark sterile brightness spilled into the corridor, making you squint against the sudden change. The space beyond was massive, eerily open, the kind of emptiness that felt designed to make you feel small.
In the center of the room stood a series of platforms and narrow walkways, forming an intricate maze-like pattern, interconnected in ways that felt delibrate, calculated. At first glance, there seemed to be no immediate danger - no spikes, no pits, no obvious traps.
"Welcome to your third game. The game you will be playing is Mingle."
You looked around as you saw the doors around the place, each with different colors. If this was Mingle, then you would be grouping yourselves, pairing up, and choosing sides. This game could be to form alliances, or something worse - something to force you into connections you wouldn't want.
"All players, please step onto the center platform. When the game starts, the platform will begin to rotate and you will hear a number. You must form groups of that size, go into the rooms, and close the door within 30 seconds."
"Oh, this game? We used to play something similar on school trips," Jung-bae spoke up. "We formed groups by hugging."
"Yeah, instead of hugging, we go into those rooms," Dae-ho pointed at the doors.
In-ho, Y/N, Gi-hun, Jung-bae, Dae-ho, Jun-hee.
"If the number is six, we can stay together," you said, earning a nod from each of your group. "We can be divided by three and two. So that wouldn't be a problem."
"If it's two, you and me pair up," In-ho stated with no hesitation. Before you could react, he leaned in and wrapped his hand around yours steadily and certain.
Your breath hitched, but you didn't pull away. The words sent a sharp jolt through your chest - not from fear, not from surprise, but from the way he didn't phrase it as a question. He wasn't asking. He was deciding.
His grip was firm, not forceful, but final. Like he had already made the choice for you - like he wouldn't let you end up with anyone else.
Your eyes flicked up just in time to catch the others watching. Gi-hun, Jung-bae, Dae-ho, even Jun-hee noticed. The way In-ho held your hand. The way he had spoken so casualy, so sure as if it was obvious. The way you didn't pull away.
Gi-hun's expression tightened, his brows furrowing just slightly, as if he was trying to understand what he had just seen. You could feel the weight of their silent questions. But In-ho didn't look at them, as if he didn't care. He didn't acknowledge their glances. He just kept his grip on your hand, his thumb resting lightly against your skin.
Gi-hun seemed to shake away his thoughts, focusing on the game ahead instead. "If the number is bigger than six, we'll get the additional people we need."
"Yeah, we have Geum-ja, Hyun-ju, Yong-sik, and Young-mi. These rooms look like it could only fit up to ten people," you replied, earning a nod from Gi-hun.
"No matter what happens, don't panic. Let's stay calm," In-ho said, his hand still not pulling away from yours. "We'll all make it out together here."
One by one, your hands with the others pressed against each other, stacking in a firm, unspoken pact. The weight of each palm settled atop the next, fingers brushing, gripping, grounding. The warmth of skin against skin was a quiet promise - whatever happened next, you were all in this together.
"Victory at all costs!"
"Let the game begin."
The first bell-like chime rang out. The platform moved with the players on it. The gasps echoed from the room as you heard the song, "Round and Round" play on the background.
Dunggeulge dunggeulge Dunggeulge dunggeulge Binggeulbinggeul doragamyeo chumeul chupsida
Beside you, In-ho stood perfectly still, his gaze fixed ahead, his posture unreadable. You glanced down to find his hand was still holding yours, fingers curled loosely but solidly around yours. You hadn't let go, neither of you had.
Sonppyeogeul chimyeonseo Noraereul bureumyeo La-la-la-la, jeulgeoupge chumchuja
You tightened your grip to In-ho as you could feel your insides shaking, terrified of what was next. You could already anticipate the chaos it would entail once the music stops, trying to force your way into those doors.
Ring-a-ring-a, ring-a, ring-a-ring-a, ring Ring-a-ring-a, ring-a, ring-a-ring-a, ring Sone soneul japgo modu da hamkke Jeulgeoupge ttwieo bopsida
Your stomach tightened upon hearing the music stop. Then, the numbers flashed across the screen. The platform clunked, almost sending you to the ground but failed, thanks to In-ho's grip on you.
"Ten."
You barely had time to think as you watched the players around you scramble, hands reaching out to others as they searched for a sense of safety in numbers. Your heart raced. You knew you had to act fast. In this game, alliances would form and be broken in a split second. There was no in between.
In-ho was beside you, his grip on your hand stayed. The pressure was mounting with each passing second. You could see the other players eyeing each other, trying to gauge who would be an asset and who might be a liability.
Without hesitation, you grabbed Jun-hee, Gi-hun, Jung-bae, and Dae-ho as you grouped yourselves together with In-ho. Gi-hun approached Hyun-ju, seeing they were four which was perfect for a group of ten.
"There's no time, Gi-hun," In-ho said as he gripped your hand tighter and ran to a door, the group following you. The green door opened and revealed the green walls around you, panting as you entered.
The timer beeped as the latch clicked, indicating the door has been locked. You peeked through the hole and saw that there were still players outside, sparing for their lives as the guards aimed their guns at them, gunshots echoing through the room.
You froze, seeing the bodies drop to the ground. You felt someone grab you from the side, burying your head over their chest. You sensed it was In-ho as his breath was shallow against your ear as he whispered something you couldn't quite make out, something low and protective.
There was only the sound of bodies hitting the floor, and the quiet safety of being pressed into him, as if you were tucked away from the madness. And in the midst of the chaos, his chest was the only thing you could hold onto, the only thing that could remind you that there was still something human, something warm, in a world that was falling apart.
"The following players have been eliminated: Players 013, 043, 049, 054, 060..."
As the doors unlocked, only the blood remained around the floor. The bodies were no longer there, enough for you to think whether seeing the lives taken away were just a dream. In the span of moments, the tension in the air shifted from uncertainty to something else entirely - a realization that the number didn't just matter for the game; they mattered for your survival.
----
At this point, you weren't sure anymore how you were able to survive the next rounds. It's as if you were just breathing and passing the time, only this time, your life was at stake. At first, it had been difficult to watch. The gunshots, the screams - it had shaken something deep inside you. But now, it was just another sound in the background of this twisted game. A signal that the rules had already been set - only the storng survive.
You had long stopped reacting, long stopped feeling the sting of it. It was as if you had slipped into a place where you could no longer be touched, where nothing mattered but survival.
"There are 126 people left and there are 50 rooms. So there won't be enough rooms for everyone, only for 100 people," you told your group as you scanned the room. "The rest will be killed."
Gi-hun seemed to look at you in horror, as if shocked to hear about your casualty on talking about killing. You kept your gaze in front of you much to his horror. But In-ho, he was more amused.
The platform rumbled, indicating that it was time to pair up.
"Two."
In-ho instinctively grabbed your hand as both of you ran to find empty rooms. The others around were still floundering, unsure of their next move. Your senses were full now, numbed by the constant violence, as if something deep inside you had already switched off. You had seen too much, felt too much, and the pain and fear had begun to fade away, replaced by something darker, colder.
This wasn't about survival anymore. This was about the true unraveling of human nature, something you were finally starting to understand.
As the players slowly paired up, you saw another playing trying to make his way toward a room, a look of uncertainty in his eyes. He was too close to that room that should've belonged to you and In-ho.
In-ho didn't hesitate. Without a warning, he stepped forward and grabbed the man by the collar, dragging him out of the room as he tried to make his way inside.
"What the hell? Let go of me!" Player 285 screamed as In-ho held him back.
"Get in!" In-ho ordered you and rushed inside, only to see another player already inside.
In-ho followed after he threw Player 285 out of the way, seeing Player 343 there.
"Get out," In-ho commanded, his voice deep and low.
"We were here first," Player 343 retorted.
You stepped forward as your hands came into a fist. Player 343's eyes widened in confusion. You didn't give him the chance to fight.
Player 343 was looking at you, their gaze cautious. It wasn't a look of fear - not yet. But it would be soon. He shifted in front of you nervously, eyes daring between you and In-ho, but he didn't know.
He didn't know what you were becoming.
In-ho was just there, just a few steps behind you. It wasn't like he was holding you back, but there was an unspoken understanding between you. He sensed it, didn't he? The change. The shift that was slowly creeping over you, turning your survival instincts into something much darker.
You were no longer just fighting to survive - you were becoming the predator. And Player 343? He was nothing but a prey now.
You didn't hesitate. His neck snapped easily under your fingers, the crack of bones loud in the stillness, his body crumpling at your feet. His body dropped to the ground, lifeless, in a heap of twisted limbs. The silence between you and In-ho felt deafening.
As you turned to look at In-ho, you felt his eyes on you - steady and unblinkingg. He wasn't surprised. He wasn't even acknowledging you. But you could feel the quiet recognition he had of what you were becoming.
"I never taught you how to kill someone for a game," In-ho said, his voice low, his gaze briefly flickering to the body at your feet before he stepped closer.
You blinked, the words settling into the space between you, but you didn't answer. Instead, you felt his fingers gently press against your skin, just above your pulse. His touch was strangely familiar, like it had always been there, like you hadn't notiveed how much you craved it until now.
In-ho cupped your face, his thumb tracing your jawline as if committing the feeling of you to memory. And in that moment, everything else - the game, the players, the chaos - faded away. There was only the quiet intensity between you.
He leaned in, his lips just a whisper away from yours, and for the first time in what felt like forever, you felt something real.
"Do you still have my ring?" He asked, his breath warm against your lips.
His words stung as you stood there with him, realizing that he had remembered it all along. You knew that you were no longer afraid of who you had become.
Without thinking, you closed the space between you, your lips crashing into his with a force that sent shockwaves through your body. It was intense, desperate - a kiss that was as much about claiming as it was about understanding.
His body was pushed against the wall as his hands were on your back now, pulling you closer, his touch burning through the fabric of your clothes as if he was marking you as his own. His lips were demanding, like he couldn't get enough, as if he had been waiting for this moment just as much as you had.
The kiss deepened, a quiet growl of frustration escaping him as you matched his urgency, your hands threading through his hair, pulling him closer still.
In-ho pulled back just enough to breathe, his forehead resting against yours. He was panting, just like you, as if the kiss had taken all the air from both of you. "You're learning fast from all the game."
The moment between you lingered, a ting of happiness on your chest yet the realization of who you had become felt heavy. The realization of the game not just killing the players, but how it could change them. And for the first time, you understood. The brutality, the death, the constant tension - they weren't just part of the game. They were a mirror, reflecting the truth about human nature.
When pushed far enough, we all become what we fear the most.
You had become the villain as the game progressed. It wasn't about power, it was because you had finally accepted the truth. In a world like this, the ones who survive aren't the ones who cling to their humanity - they're the ones who shed it and embrace the darkness inside.
You were already too far gone to turn back.
"Let's finish this together," you whispered, your words a promise, and you knew deep down, that you were both already lost in the game. "No more lies?"
In-ho nodded, cupping your face with his hand, and gave you the softest smile you haven't seen for years. "No more lies."

sometimes it feels like people (not you) infantilize mary the same way they infantilize jack. like she's almost 30 she's not 18 (not saying she's equal in maturity to her sons). she was an adult for a decade and chose to be a mom and then got upset because her adult children were adults and told them they weren't enough to overcome her grief (she has the right to be upset to be clear, i just feel like her wording was cruel in a way she might've not realized) and they have a right to be hurt that she isn't even trying to move on (from their perspective). (im 25 so maybe im biased tbh)
like imagine if your mom came back and then said "hey you aren't my sons. not the ones i want anyway. i can't be around you." like that's kind of cruel even if it's born out of deep hurt and not what she intended to say.
yup i touched on some of the age stuff in the ask i just answered, but yea this.
like i've said it a million times how much i understand her perspective and sympathize with her. i even wrote a little ficlet from her POV exploring her feelings of grief. i feel a lot for her in this situation. but i can feel bad for her and ALSO feel bad for sam and dean too. like there is no limit on who gets my sympathy / empathy. feeling for one of them doesn't make the others the bad or wrong ones. they can all be hurt in different ways and i can feel bad for all of them.
like you said, her words come off unintentionally (!) as cruel. dean later laments that this is hard for them too, that she's been gone their whole lives. now she's HERE. of course they're going to want her around. of course they're going to want some kind of relationship with her. of course the inner child in both of them (but i think dean especially bc he remembers her) is crying out for a shred of parental affection.
and it's hard, because mary is riddled with her own grief. and they give her time and space and she still doesn't seem to be working thru anything, instead she throws herself into hunting to cope. it's not until 12x22, when dean has to BEG her to look at him, his adult self, and really see him that she seems to finally overcome that grief.
but yea, mary hurts them with her actions. she doesn't mean to, and her situation is complicated and i'm sympathetic to her, but she hurts them nonetheless. and her age shouldn't be an "excuse" or something to throw around like a trump card to say "ok well it doesn't matter that she hurt them because she's younger than them now and they shouldn't be asking anything of her." she was their mom at 28. she was their mom at 24. she is always going to be their mom, and they have always seen this young woman (through pictures, memories, and time travel) AS their mother. they're not wrong for seeing her and going, "hey mom" and wanting a relationship with her.
also yea as someone roughly her age (29) i am like, if i had been dead my kids' whole lives and came back i'd want to know them? and spend time with them? even if it was hard? i'd be like, okay tell me everything. i'd also, probably, indeed be babying them bc the last time i was alive they were my babies. like "you still like pb&j with the crusts off? and uhh sam....you like...milk?" lmao

#the bit is over when i say its over and even when its so joever for these two its not over for me!!! (once again i am on heavy copium)#anyway. thoughts behind the spoiler tags#gempearl#shiny duo#wild life smp#life series spoilers#wild life spoilers#i feel like. i actually was expecting that#no but its so funny the one time the negative consequences of something does actually get acknowledged its the SL finale ‘betrayal’/j#like cmon fuck me i guess/j (BIG EMPHASIS. ON THE SLASH J. OKAY.)#but honestly though i did expect Gem to hold a grudge over the 2v1 in SL. and. its good that there are consequences???#it IS a ‘betrayal’ in Gem’s eyes. they were friends. they were murder besties for the last two sessions and then Pearl chose Scar over her#and its awesome man. [through gritted teeth] this is awesome man this will be good for character development ok ok ok. ok?#its also got something to do with Pearl having the red creep in. i think#because during SL Gem was like. nearly idolising the Scarlet Pearl persona while vaguely aware that her own reputation has a similar effect#and yknow. the horrors. the fact that their image is so heavily built on what others deem them to be and they can only play into it#but by the end of SL Gem gets ‘betrayed’ by this persona that she looked up to#and also her own ‘GeminiSlay’ intimidating image is also starting to fall apart. partly of her own will#and now shes watching Pearl slowly turn red again. and this time she knows its not good for her or Pearl#so shes distancing herself from it. shes ‘trying to fix her reputation’. she sees Pearl falling into it again and just. no. i dont love you#you betrayed me last season#but on Pearl’s end of things she’s already deep into the idea that as long as you say you ‘forgive’ someone then everything thats happened#in the past doesn’t matter and they can all be friends. and nooo absolutely no grudges will be held. no emotional repression here#so. because thats happened to her in her own team she thinks the same can happen with her and Gem#and thats so. im going to blow myself up now

ok. question.
ortega ended up hallucinating sidestep after they "died", but sidestep doesnt know about that. they know it got bad, but never the full extent of how their death affected them. so if your sidestep Did learn, if they found out ortega looked for them in every little piece they could, would that change anything for your sidesteps? would their relationship with ortega be any different?
#pulp speaks#Am i thinking of my “ortega sees sidestep posthb” fic again? perhaps#shameless plug btw yall should read it its called 'seen' on ao3 and i still like it#but anyway the important bits: ive been thinking about it with my sidesteps and its really interesting to me how different they are#but theyre all some variation of “i didnt know you /cared/”#caine is. uncomfortable with the idea#i genuinely dont know why but i do know that in the end their feelings on the matter are “whats done is done and im back now” with a small#“ill try not to leave again” mixed in#meanwhile cyrus is a deer in headlights over it#itd be way worse if he learned it when they met again- i feel like if he learned ortega was still that attached he wouldve left and never-#-come back. he would still want to Now but hes too tangled in his relationships and ortega is his /friend/ and leaving would just explode i#-his face‚ god Damnit ortega you son of a bitch‚ he shouldve just run. you werent supposed to drag him into caring about people again.#cecilia would have mixed feelings about it. i think shed resonate with it a lot for reasons she doesnt want to face#but it would also hit her like a goddamn Truck that he chose to move on/replace her rather than try get her back and its easier to get mad-#-about that than question her own feelings. but also maybe she could use this to her advantage? maybe this time he knows theres always a-#-chance hell come back for her next time. maybe. shes hoping there wont be a next time.#cynthias an interesting case because shes in love with ortega. deeply. but ortega /never came for her/ when she /promised/ and cynthia-#-is still furious about it#ortega hallucinated her in death but she couldnt put the pieces together and go looking herself? she cared enough to look for her but-#-not enough to save her?#she would still end up settling on bitterness for abandoning her but the information would shake her to her core#anyway. i think ortega should be used as a squeaky toy 👍#caine lynzal#cyrus becker#cecilia rider#cynthia garcia#ortega#sidestep#fhr

let’s talk fat!momo because fuck her og design
-to prefece this analysis/rant i have only read the first 4 manga but i have read enough bnha fanfiction over the last three years to kill a man so take this with a grain of salt-
.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.﹀﹀﹀﹀.♡♡.
she would at least have some chub are you kidding me her whole quirk relies on using her fat stores aka the thing cushioning her body so she doesn’t get horribly injured sooo:
get this girl a fucking meal plan! a dietitian she can afford it she’s rich rich like what she should keep fat rich snacks on her person especially in her hero costume in like a fanny pack something with a lot of fat that’s easy to eat quickly like full fat yogurt pouches, nut butter packets, baby bells, lots of full fat dairy and desserts
How fast is her metabolism? How easily can she keep fat on her body?
One of her side effects is anemia. I used to be anemic and that shit fucks u up makes u dizzy, light headed, blacks ur vision out, makes u pass out and super tired so its vvv important that shes eating!! also it could get worse on her period so get her on birth control if she's not already and iron supps! Make sure her foods are also iron rich in addition to the fats
SHE SHOULD INTERN WITH FATHUM AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL!! like are you kidding me uwabami is fine but she’s just fine momo is rich rich like rich rich so i’m assuming she already has media training and fatgums quirk revolves around his size and his diet both things that momo needs to learn to deal with!!
also her costume her fucking costume and don’t start with that “but she needs a lot of skin for her quirk” bs there are other options for her quirk that don’t rely on the fan service of a 15 year old TEENAGER are you kidding me - give her like a poncho or straps or buckles fucking something besides a boob window are u seriously implying that she gets fat from her boobs how does that even work? is that safe? how are her boobs still so big if she’s making bombs with them?!?!? all quality questions i don’t have answers to
costume made out of skin so she can have coverage but still quirk. lemillion’s costume for example is made out of his hair. That wouldn't work for momo but couldnt u make like a twisted ver of that with her fat or skins cells?
science to use her cells to make more fat —> lab grown fat cells?
mix of cells and fabric!!
tunic/poncho: cons = could get caught on something/pulled on by enemy - strangled, pros = could pull stuff out of tunic - more coverage
What parts of skin does she use the most? Everybody's bodies are different but most people gain fat on their thighs, butt and midsection so focusing her costume on the accessibility of those areas would be good.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5138a95c69950d3ef179ad1423d9402d/15761c062e0782e2-2a/s400x600/a019cb3529ae223e9e57d1d86d92f339486d3b85.webp)
That is an early ver of momos' costume! I like it way better because say it with me folks NO BOOB WINDOW! i love that her tummy is still exposed so she can create bigger objects and her shorts are longer still short so theres access to her lower thighs! and the pouches for her snacks! i wish we had kept this
#bnha#mha#boku no hero academia#my hero academia#momo yaoyorozu#yaomomo#fat!yaomomo#hero costume#rant#fandom rant#bnha costume#i have a lot of rage and most of it is because of momos costume#i know she chose it for herself but i also feel like as she and her quirk grows and changes she would want other options#its also just not safe more skin means less protection from the elements and villains!#not edited#seriously my grammer is shit

going to read all the ace quest transcripts (again) so i can go into full depth of how that affected vivienne Because i really wanna talk about vivienne. desperately
#i love exploring vivi in this arc in particular because it shows that she does not cope well with people turning on her because they believ#something that isn't true about her. at all#not only that but remember the stuff i said about being seen as a symbol rather than an actual person? yeah.#this is like one of the few times where she's just straight up done. and exhausted.#and she hasn't felt like that since her last year in thailand. which she ended up coping terribly with. i mean she literally moves country#because rayong (her homecity) just feels suffocating.#also projecting onto to her a bit but i feel like general she can cope (kinda) with people having a negative opinion on her#but if that opinion going from positive to negative almost instantly#over her own words getting twisted and misinterpreted#then i think she splits. BAD.#which is why i usually chose the choices that are more “meaner” in this quests#i wouldn't really say mean but yeah#i guess harsher would be more fitting#not only that but after all that she ends up.. dating the guy who made her outwardly express negative emotions instead of keeping them to#herself. and you know what? i think that's what ended up drawing her to him#not only that but she also sees dao in him which is a whole other story she's fucking nuts deep down#sweetheart with unsuspected quiet beautiful princess disorder and nobody even realizes because she builds up more walls than it might seem#nobody would thinks she does cause she hides them THAT WELL#somebody get her a therapist#stat#something is deeply psychologically wrong with her and only five people have noticed#being a social butterfly that constantly concerns herself with her friends emotions so she can ignore hers and pretend they don't exist#bc if she doesn't acknowledge them then nobody can know#and that's for the best (in her mind)#oc - vivienne

on the topic of leda being the worst i also think she also suffers from having fallen for her own hype at a very young age 😍 double combo of being vain with jealous streak the likes of which WILL lead to a crime of passion at one point or another. like she needs to be the one holding all the cards and if you get one over on her she WILL pray on your downfall at best, actively plot it at worst
#oc: leda#i think all of this comes down to the terror of being insignificant all her life having no meaning except to die to fuel the astronomicon#she MUST have a purpose greater than that she HAS to believe that the emperor has chosen her personally because the alternative#is too horrifying to fathom#she TRULY believed it was her *destiny* to become the rogue trader which is why she didnt tell anybody that theodora would die#even though she'd had a vision of it days before arriving on the ship#she has issues with idira (altho they are friends) bc she resents having another oracle on board who might undermine her#(again tho like. shes not a BAD person and she does grapple with the guilt of feeling this way. but like. shes still feeling it lol)#and then argenta (also her close friend) pisses her off to know end bc how Dare she insinuate that the emperor chose her#he chose ME and ME alone !!!!!#and the worst part is on the surface she is very soft spoken and level headed and instrospective#she presents herself as humble and wise. so when these things start happening around her she has to bear it even tho her eye is TWITCHING...#anyway. i love her so much. i need to write more about her good qualities I SWEAR SHE HAS SOME. SHES GOOD I PROMISE.#I JUST NEED MY OCS TO BE AWFUL AS A BASELINE AND THEN WORK MY WAY UP FROM THERE LOL

I was looking through my notes for Good Omens fanfiction, and realized almost every damn story includes Crowley having a baby.
There's the one where Heaven and Hell decide to use an angel baby carried by a demon as a diplomatic tool, leading into Crowley being protected by Michael, and them falling in love.
There's the one where she leaves her baby with Anathema and disappears, which triggers all the following events - from the search, to Aziraphale's trial, and everything else.
There's the one where she has to supply the new Antichrist, which leads to her and Lucifer falling in love, and her being crowned the Queen of Hell. (Well, this one is really two stories set in different timelines, in the second one the "baby" is like 27)
In the one inspired by a dream, she does have a baby eventually, but that's far from the worst thing that happens to her. Gabriel's treatment of her after is... How the Hell will I write this damn thing if I can't even think about it.
There's no baby in the one where she gets tortured with diluted holy water.
I see I have no storyline with male Crowley just yet... Fine, that's not true. I do have some thoughts for Crowley x Fem!Lucifer... It could include a new Antichrist, too. And, Crowley wouldn't be the pregnant one for once. But, dealing with pregnant Lucifer would probably be even scarier.
#diary pages#writing journal#fanfiction writer#ao3 writer#good omens fanfiction#good omens fandom#crowley#good omens crowley#lady crowley#fem!crowley#writers on tumblr#writer life#ffs what's with me and torturing miss/mr. snake#she's either pregnant or she's in some horrible situation or actually it's both#yes i feel damn guilty for doing that but i can't help it#in first two bullet points the dad is aziraphale but he screws up (without even knowing it) so michael steps in...#in the first one and not immediately as a love interest at first just as a protector#don't worry she's in on using the kid for politics and crowley know's there's drama#the second i'd rather not spoil because of the detective/investigation plot#hey but she chose michael herself she was supposed to be with hastur#in the antichrist one all is obvious and honestly it's one of those “good for her” stories for crowley#but in the time jump she is kind of riddled with worry for maxine fearing she'll burn out and so on#grr the dream storyline... the dad is gabriel and don't worry in the end she ditches him i can spoil that this story is so heavy#this story is the ugly crowing jewel of my frustration with crowley saving aziraphale over and over again#what she does to protect him here almost ends up killing her or breaking her it's... seriously no idea how i'll write it#i'm also worried people will think i'm romanticising it when it's supposed to leave the reader sickened like i am#no comment on the holy water thing rn it's a simple hurtfic that develops into a survivor - the previous one is survivor in the end too#i haven't given too much thought for the crowley/f!lucifer but it should be good#fr hell would be so frustrated she chose this moron as her king consort but could do nothing about it#her pregnant would be SCARY - she's terrifying already... well terrifying and to die for

We finished the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series
There were a lot of things I was/am endlessly frustrated over
But there are also many bits and choices that were made that I have an appreciation for too.
#i am never going to forgive them for doing the pau'an like that#or for just how utterly underwhelming and unintimdating they made The Grand Inquisitior (and im holding a chunk of that onto the actor+#himself because he even had to open his mouth&state that he chose not to watch rebels to “respect the character”. im salty.)#but also how they wrote obi-wan engaging with others and have him be tatters of who he once was#and little quib bits with leia#and how he cares for luke#how guilty he feels over what he thought were his own short comings#and then reva#stars i love her and i need more. i want her to struggle finding her way to the light of the force and learn how to reliquish herself to it#and trust it again. i want to know wjat she does i want know what she chooses#i can count on a single hand the number of people that im aware of that hated Anakin Skywalker#and she fucking should. andxhdkdjjejdjfjfjdjejwjdhc#i wish i had more from Roken#loved him dearly but stars i want more pls-#im thrilled with so many bits from this series#i have so many ideas and dbksjdbcjwkksjd

It was all innocent at first—a movie you chose playing on the TV in Vi’s apartment, her chin resting lightly on your shoulder, her thumbs gently brushing circles against your sides, and ever so often, her lips grazing the top of your head in fleeting, soft kisses. You were tucked between her legs, your back resting against her chest, and her arms were securely wrapped around your waist possessively, not wanting you to move away from her.
You were watching the movie—or at least, you were trying to.
But Vi wasn’t making it easy.
She’d been unusually affectionate all evening, her hands sneaking under the hem of your sweater to rest directly on your skin. They weren’t wandering; she wasn’t teasing you like she sometimes did.
No, this was different.
Her fingers were just there, pressed against your stomach as if she needed to feel the warmth of you. She was quiet, which wasn’t unusual when she was in one of these soft, clingy moods, but you could feel her every breath against your back, her chest rising and falling steadily. In different minutes, she would shift slightly, her legs tensing around you as if she were adjusting, but really, you knew it was just an excuse to pull you closer.
“Comfy?” she asked after a while, her voice low and soft in your ear.
“Mhm,” you murmured back, turning your head slightly to look at her.
She only smiled.
“What?” You smiled back, a soft giggle falling from your lips.
Vi shook her head, placing a tiny kiss to your shoulder, “Nothing.”
She was so close, her face inches from yours, her eyes glinting in the flickering light of the TV. There was a small smile tugging at her lips, and when she caught you looking at her, she tilted her head, her expression softening in a way that made your heart flutter.
Vi had been head over heels for you from the start, though she’d never admit how fast it all happened.
She prided herself on being smooth, confident, and a little cocky—someone who always knew how to flirt, how to charm, how to make the girls swoon. And it worked for her, for the most part. Vi had never struggled to get attention; her charm, confidence, and maybe sometimes even her muscles, did most of the talking before she even opened her mouth.
But none of that prepared her for you.
When you first started dating, Vi tried to play it cool. She told herself she’d keep it casual, keep things easy. But then you smiled at her like she’d hung the moon, and that was it. Vi fell hard—headfirst, without a parachute—and it terrified her.
She couldn’t stop thinking about you, couldn’t stop replaying every moment you spent together like they were the best scenes in a movie she never wanted to end. Every time you laughed, her chest felt too tight, like her heart was trying to claw its way out of her ribcage just to reach you. She didn’t even realize how deep she was in until one day she caught herself thinking about you in the middle of practice, her teammates yelling her name because she’d missed the puck for the third time.
She told herself it wasn’t a big deal. People fell in love all the time, right?
Right?
And that scared her more than anything. Because Vi wasn’t used to feeling this vulnerable. She was used to being in control, to calling the shots, to knowing exactly where she stood. But with you, she felt like she was walking a tightrope, one misstep away from falling so deep she might never recover. And yet, she couldn’t bring herself to care.
Because as much as you terrified her, you also made her feel alive in ways she never thought possible.
And for the first time in her life, she wasn’t afraid to admit that someone else had her completely, utterly, helplessly wrapped around their finger.
And, truth be told, you’re not exactly experienced when it came to sex.
The first time you told her, it took Vi by surprise.
She had been getting touchy one day, as she always did when she was around you, teasing you with little brushes of her fingers against your skin, her lips grazing your neck as she whispered something playful in your ear. She could sense the way you tensed up, not in a way that made her think you were uncomfortable, but… uncertain.
“I—uh, I’m not really… experienced with all this,” you had admitted, your cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, eyes glancing away, as if ashamed to even say it aloud. “I’ve never… done it with someone before.”
Vi froze, her breath caught in her throat.
She hadn’t expected it—hadn’t thought that you might be nervous about something so natural to her. Vi had been with plenty of people, experienced in more ways than one, but she’d never really stopped to think about someone who was new to it all, someone who might feel hesitant or unsure. She paused, but then the softest smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as she looked at you softly.
“Hey,” she said, her voice gentle as she cupped your face with her hand, guiding your gaze back to hers. “You don’t have to be embarrassed, okay? I’m not in a rush. We’ll go at your pace, baby.”
You swallowed hard, the knot in your stomach still there, but hearing her words made it feel a little easier to breathe. She didn’t judge you. She didn’t make you feel small for being inexperienced. She understood your vulnerability because, in a way, she felt it too.
“I’m really into you,” Vi had said, her voice soft but sincere. “All I care about is being with you. So, if we go slow—if you need time—then we go slow. I’m not going anywhere.”
She kept her word.
She let you set the pace, kissed you slow and gentle, her hands always asking for permission before they moved anywhere further. When you’d get nervous, when you’d pull back, she’d smile at you, brushing your hair from your face, whispering how beautiful you were, how much she liked being close to you. She was kind of shocked herself. She had the patience to listen, the kind of patience she’d never thought she’d have for anyone, but for you? She’d have it for a lifetime if you needed her to.
But god, sometimes, it was really fucking hard.
She wanted to fuck you so bad.
Vi was, above all else, just a woman—a woman with desires that had been left unchecked for far too long. Everything you did made her heart race, made her head spin. You were so fucking pretty. It was almost unbearable. Vi wanted to get lost in you, wanted to feel her lips all over your skin, wanted to explore every inch of you until she knew you as well as she knew herself.
And she respected your boundaries more than anything. She wanted you to feel safe with her, to feel cherished, to feel like there was no rush.
But god, it was hard.
Every time you turned to her and smiled that soft, shy smile, when your fingers brushed against hers so innocently, it felt like you were silently asking for more—though you weren’t. The way you looked at her sometimes, the way you held her gaze when your lips brushed against hers, made it nearly impossible to keep herself in check.
In different situations, at a party, or even just in her apartment or yours, she’d excuse herself for a moment, retreating to the bathroom or something, just to compose herself. She’d close her eyes and huff a hard and heavy sigh, shamelessly picture it all in her head until it drove her insane. Then, she’d go back to you, a bit more touchy and loving, standing even closer than before, unable to get her eyes to look away from you. She’d smile that charming smile of hers when you turn to look at her and tell you it was nothing—even though it wasn’t nothing. Not when her eyes would keep falling to your soft lips, her hands itching at her sides to touch you in places people aren’t allowed to see, and her jaw clenching at the sight of you in such a pretty dress or whatever outfit you decided to put together that day.
Vi wasn’t perfect. Sometimes, she was just someone who wanted to touch you, to hold you, to feel your body pressed against hers. Every time you looked up at her, those soft eyes that sparkled when they met hers, she couldn’t help but think how much she wanted to kiss you, to make you feel as good as you made her feel.
But she holds herself back every time. And she’s quite proud of herself, actually.
Tonight, though, something felt different.
Vi couldn’t put her finger on it, but she felt it deep in her bones. It wasn’t just the heat in the room or the way the soft glow of the TV flickered against your skin. It was the how you’d been leaning into her a little more tonight, just enough for her to notice the subtle shift in your body. And it wasn’t like before, when you’d shift away slightly or look at her with wide, hesitant eyes, unsure of the closeness.
Tonight, you didn’t do that. You leaned in closer.
Vi’s heart skipped a beat as she felt the warmth of your body pressing against hers. Her breath caught, the movie fading into the background as her attention narrowed to you. To the way your body fit so perfectly against hers. Her hand, which had been lazily resting on your waist, hands underneath your sweater, now slid lower, just a little bit—no big deal, just a gentle touch—but the way you didn’t flinch, didn’t pull away, made her pulse race. You didn’t look uncomfortable.
In fact, you looked like you were… waiting. Like you wanted her to touch you more.
Vi wasn’t one to back down from anything, but she had always been patient with you. Yet tonight, she felt the urge to push those boundaries just a little. Her fingertips slid from your waist to your hip, feeling the curve of you, the warmth of your skin beneath the soft fabric of your shirt.
Your breath hitched slightly, but you still didn’t pull away. Instead, your back arched just enough for her to notice, and your eyes flickered up to meet hers. That same shy smile of yours tugged at her heartstrings.
You didn’t seem to mind. In fact, Vi could swear there was something more in your gaze—something that matched the heat she felt rising inside her.
She could feel her chest tighten with as thoughts of you—only you—filled her mind.
She wanted you. So badly.
Her breath came out in soft, breathless whimpers, and your name—your sweet, simple name—fell from her lips like a prayer.
“Baby…” she whispered against you, closing her eyes and letting out soft sigh.
It was so desperate, so soft.
There was no mistaking the need in her voice, the way her breath quickened, the raw hunger she was trying so hard to control, to be gentle with you, but it was obvious to you now that she was practically using every bone in her body to stay patient.
You could feel it in every inch of her, in the way her hands trembled just slightly, in the way her breath hitched as shelingered just out of reach of the place you both knew she desperately wanted to touch.
She dropped her head to your shoulder, her forehead resting gently against the soft curve of your neck as if she was trying to hide her feelings, to keep herself under control, but you could feel it in the way her body tensed, in the way her hands hovered close to you, shaking with the effort of keeping her restraint. She was trying so hard to stay composed, to be gentle, but it was clear she was on the edge, barely holding it together.
She wanted you. Needed you. And her restraint was slipping away with every passing second.
“Vi…”
At the sound of your voice, so soft and gentle, Vi’s gaze snapped up to meet yours. Her eyes were wide, waiting, like she’d been waiting for this moment, for you to say something—anything—to pull her back in. She looked almost like a puppy, the look on her face soft and eager, her lips slightly parted as if she were holding her breath, waiting for you to speak again.
She searched your eyes desperately, wanting to know what you were thinking, what you wanted, because nothing else mattered more.
“I’m here,” she breathed out, her voice barely more than a whisper.
She wanted you to know she was all in—her mind, her body, her heart. She was yours. And in that moment, it felt like nothing could tear her away from you.
“What do you need, baby?” she asked, the words falling from her lips desperately. “Tell me… please.”
Vi’s breath caught in her throat the moment you turned to face her, your eyes locking with hers as if everything else in the room disappeared. The movie was long forgotten by now and for a split second, Vi forgot how to breathe. God, you were so fucking pretty. She couldn’t help but melt as you reached up to gently brush a strand of her hair from her face.
She swallowed hard, fighting the urge to let out a shaky breath as you leaned in, your lips brushing against hers in the softest kiss she’d ever felt. It was sweet, but there was something more beneath it—something deeper.
You pulled away just enough for Vi to feel the coldness of the space left between you, and she immediately chased after your lips like a starved thing, her breath coming quicker, hands gripping your waist. Every inch of her body begged for you, aching to feel you pressed against her, to get closer, to melt into you until nothing else existed. She wanted more—needed more.
And then, your voice, soft and quiet, broke through the haze of her thoughts.
“I want you, Vi…” you whispered.
Your words were soft, almost shy, but they sent a wave of heat crashing through Vi’s chest. Her breath hitched at the sound of your voice, her heart racing even faster.
It was all she needed to hear.
She was lost in you, in the way you made her feel. She melted against you, her hands roaming up your sides, pulling you closer, her lips finding yours once again. This time, it was deeper, needier. She wanted you, more than she’d ever wanted anyone before. Every kiss, every touch, felt like it was both too much and not enough. Vi pulled you closer into her lap, her arms wrapping around you tightly as if she never wanted to let go.
“Fuck,” she whispered, voice shaky, a low groan escaping her throat as she pulled you even closer, her hands cupping the back of your head, deepening the kiss.
You could feel it—the heat building low in your stomach, the wetness pooling in your panties, spreading through your body in waves with every touch of Vi’s hands on your skin. Her grip was firm, her fingers tracing the curve of your waist like she was trying to memorize you. You gasped softly as she shifted you higher in her arms. It was impossible not to react to her—the way she looked at you like you were the only thing that mattered in the world, the way her voice dropped low and raspy when she whispered your name.
Vi couldn’t focus on anything else but you—your soft breath against her lips, your body pressed so close to hers, the way your fingers brushed against her skin. The movie was nothing but background noise now, and all she could think about how you felt, how you tasted, and how much she wanted you.
Without even realizing what she was doing, Vi pulled you closer, your legs straddling her waist. She could feel the weight of your body, the warmth of your skin, and the softness of your touch. You were everything she wanted and more, and Vi’s breath caught as she watched your eyes flicker with the same heat, the same desire that had been building for what felt like forever.
“Need you…” she whimpered, her voice low and needy, her hands already moving to settle more firmly around your waist.
She didn’t give you a moment to think before she stood up, lifting you with ease, her strong arms, muscles flexing, supporting you as if you weighed nothing, as if she’d done this a thousand times before.
You instinctively wrapped your legs around her waist, your arms around her neck, and the heat of your body pressed against hers, the way you fit perfectly, like you were made to be in her arms. She could feel your pulse against her chest, your body trembling just slightly as she carried you through her apartment, heading toward the one place that she knew would be safe—her bedroom.
Vi’s hands moved carefully as she gently laid you down against her bed, her touch lingering on your waist for just a moment longer than necessary. Her body hovered over yours, but she didn’t lean in right away. She paused instead, pulling back slightly to look at you. And god, the way she looked at you—it was like nothing else existed in the world except for you.
You felt the heat rise to your cheeks under her gaze, her eyes roaming your face. Vi wasn’t in a rush now, even if her body ached for you. She could feel her heart pounding, her breath uneven as she just… stared. You looked so fucking pretty, she thought, her lips parting slightly as if she wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words.
Her hands moved absently as she tugged at the hem of her own shirt, a random band tee she got on one of her birthdays, pulling it off in one quick motion and tossing it to the side without a second thought. Her toned body caught your attention immediately, and you felt your breath hitch as your eyes lingered on the taut muscles of her arms and the faint scars across her torso. But Vi didn’t even notice… not when her focus was entirely on you. She leaned back slightly, giving herself just enough room to drink you in.
“You’re so beautiful,” she murmured, her voice barely audible, like the words weren’t meant for you to hear but spilled out anyway.
She reached for you again, her hands sliding over your waist as her thumbs brushed over your hips, thumbs tugging slightly on your shorts. Her mind was spinning, her heart hammering in her chest as she hovered over you. The reality of the moment hit her hard, making her stomach flip over and over.
Is this really happening? she thought, her hands trembling slightly as they rested on either side of your waist. Her throat tightened as she struggled to process it all. You’re really going to let me do this? You’re really trusting me like this?
She swallowed hard, her cheeks burning as her eyes roamed over your face. You were looking up at her with so much trust, and it was almost too much for her. Her chest ached in the best way, and a nervous, breathless laugh almost bubbled out of her throat. Vi was confident—she always had been—but this? This was something else entirely. This was someone she adored more than she could put into words, giving her something so special, so intimate, that she started to question if she even deserved it.
What did I do to deserve this? she thought, her mind racing. What did I do to deserve her?
Her palms grew clammy, nervous, and for a split second, she wondered if she was going to pass out from sheer excitement. Her head was spinning with a thousand thoughts—how to take her time, how to make it perfect, how to make sure you felt as loved and cherished as you deserved, as you made her feel.
“Vi,” you whispered softly, and she blinked, her trance breaking for just a moment as her eyes locked with yours.
Your breath caught as you reached up, your fingers gently brushing against her cheek. And as she dipped her head down, her lips brushing against yours in the softest kiss, you knew you were ready.
Vi’s fingers trembled slightly as they toyed with the hem of your shirt as she pulled back from the kiss for a moment. Her eyes darted between yours and the fabric she was clutching, her lips parted as though she was trying to find the right words.
Finally, she managed to ask, her voice low and almost shy, “Can I take this off?”
The eagerness in your nod made her breath hitch, and a soft, breathless laugh escaped her lips, sounding almost disbelieving.
“Okay,” she muttered under her breath, her cheeks pink and her grin wide as she tugged at your shirt gently, pulling it over your head.
“Oh, fuck,” she whispered, her voice almost reverent as her hands came to rest gently on your waist again.
And she… stared again. Here eyes traced every curve and dip of your exposed skin. Her lips parted as if to say something, but no words came out. You blushed hard as the seconds pass, squirming slightly under her gaze, biting your lip as you glanced away, feeling shy.
“Vi… Stop looking at me like that,” you mumbled, your voice soft, barely above a whisper, but Vi didn’t listen.
Instead, she laughed, lie and warm, and dropped her head to your shoulder. Her strong arms wrapped around your waist as she held you close, her breath warm against your skin.
“Sorry, baby… Can you blame me?” she murmured, her breath tickling your neck as she continued, “I’ve got the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen… looking up at me… waiting for me…”
Her words sent a shiver down your spine, and you couldn’t help but smile, even as you playfully shoved at her shoulder.
“Shut up,” you teased, though your voice betrayed the way your heart fluttered in your chest.
She smiled cheekily and lifted her head just enough to press a quick kiss to your neck, her lips lingering for a second longer than necessary. Her hands moved with softly as they slipped to the waistband of your shorts, her fingers brushing against your skin so lightly it sent shivers up your spine. She paused for a moment, as if giving you the chance to stop her, her gaze flickering back up to meet yours.
When you didn’t protest, only nodding softly with a nervous but eager look in your eyes, Vi let out a small, breathy laugh, the sound filled with both excitement and disbelief.
“Wanna make you feel good,” she murmured, more to herself than to you, and then she began to tug your shorts down your legs slowly.
Her calloused fingers grazed against the soft skin of your thighs as she worked them down. She didn’t rush, like she wanted to savor the moment, the sight of you beneath her, the way your breath hitched every time her fingers skimmed too close. She let the fabric fall to the floor before leaning back slightly, taking you in with wide, almost awestruck eyes.
“Perfect,” she whispered, her voice low and thick with emotion. Her hands rested on your knees, gently spreading them apart just enough for her to slip between your legs.
Her breath hitched as her eyes lingered on the damp spot on your panties. Her lips parted slightly, her tongue brushing over them. Her hands trembled just a little as she reached up, fingers grazing the straps of your bra.
“Let me,” she murmured, her voice low and soft.
You nodded, cheeks flushing as Vi carefully unhooked your bra and helped slide it off your shoulders. She tossed it aside, but her focus stayed entirely on you. Her gaze roamed over your tits, her hands smoothing up your sides. She leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to the top of your chest, then another lower, and another, her lips trailing down the valley between your breasts.
“My beautiful girl,” she whispered against your skin, her voice filled with awe and something deeper—something that made your heart race. Her kisses became firmer, needier, and you felt her nose nuzzle against the swell of your tits as she breathed you in, the pads of her thumbs softly rolling over your hard nipples.
You couldn’t help but let out a soft sigh, your fingers threading through her short pink hair as her mouth moved lower, leaving hickeys as she went. Vi looked up at you briefly, her cheeks flushed, her lips parted as though she was about to say something. But instead, she simply smiled—soft and a little smug—and leaned back in, pressing another kiss to your lips that made your toes curl.
Vi’s voice was barely above a whisper, soft and warm against your skin as her fingers toyed with the hem of your panties.
“Can I?” she asked, her thumbs hooked around the waistband, tugging gently, as though she was testing your reaction before going any further.
Her gaze flicked up to meet yours, her blue eyes searching, waiting for your answer. You nodded slowly, the movement almost shy, and Vi let out a soft, shaky breath, her lips curving into the faintest smile.
“Yeah?” she asked, her voice breaking slightly.
“Yes, please…”
She smiled and hummed, leaning down to kiss your lips softly. Her fingers moved carefully, sliding your panties down your hips and over your legs, and the moment they were gone, she tossed them aside, her eyes never leaving you.
“I love you…” she murmured so quietly as she leaned back in, her hands settling on your thighs, pushing them apart to get a better look at your pussy. “So pretty…”
She pressed a kiss to your inner thigh, her lips lingering, her breath warm against your skin. Her hands, strong but gentle, rested on your knees as she eased them further apart, creating even more space for herself.
Her lips lingered just above your skin, her warm breath fanning against you as she whispered, “You’ll tell me if you need me to stop, okay?”
You looked down at her, her face framed by the dim light filtering in, her pink hair tousled and her eyes staring with need and want, waiting for permission.
“I will,” you murmured, your voice barely audible over the sound of your own heartbeat. Your fingers instinctively moved to thread through her hair, pulling her just a little closer. “I trust you, Vi.”
Vi smiled softly at your words, and the sight made your chest tighten.
“That’s my girl,” she whispered, her lips brushing your skin again, and then she kissed you, slow and deep, as her hands moved to hold your thighs, her thumbs tracing lazy circles over your skin.
Her breath hitched as her fingers dipped lower, finally brushing against the wetness that had been teasing her imagination all night. When she felt just how slick you were, her chest rose and fell with a shuddering sigh, her lips parting in awe.
“Fuck…” she whispered, her voice breaking softly as she let the sensation sink in.
Her forehead rested briefly against your thigh, and you could feel the way her breath trembled, betraying just how much she’d been holding back. You squirmed beneath her touch, your breath catching at the slow pressure of her fingers as she explored you. She looked up at you then, her eyes heavy-lidded.
“You’re so wet,” she whispered.
Her fingers teased along your folds, and when she finally slid one inside, the quiet, shaky groan that escaped her lips sent a jolt of heat through you. Your soft moan filled the room, and it sent a shiver straight down Vi’s spine. The way you reacted to her touch, the way your body seemed to move with hers—it was intoxicating. She couldn’t stop herself from curling her finger inside of your pussy, and the sound you made in response nearly undid her completely.
“Tell me how it feels,” she said softly, her eyes searching yours as her finger moved slowly, her thumb grazing over your skin. “I wanna know… everything.”
Your voice came out in a shaky breath, soft and airy as you tried to keep up with the overwhelming sensations.
“F-feels good, Vi—” you managed to whisper, your hands gripping at the sheets beneath you.
Vi’s breath hitched at your words, a flicker of pride and hunger lighting in her chest. She wanted to do good. For you. She paused only for a moment, her eyes never leaving your face as she carefully added another finger. The stretch was new, different, and it made you gasp sharply, your body tensing for just a second before melting into her bedsheets.
“Yeah?” Vi asked, her voice low and raspier now, almost shaking with how much she wanted to do this right, to make you feel good.
Her lips brush over the soft skin of your inner thigh as she fucked her fingers deeper into your pussy, curling just right. Your moans spilled out, filling the room, and Vi felt her entire body tremble with excitement.
“God, you’re so tight,” she groaned, her movements growing a little more confident as she found a pace that made your hips buck and your head fall back.
She quickened her pace, completely entranced by you. The way your face twisted in pleasure—cheeks flushed, mouth parted with those soft moans—sent a bolt of heat straight through her. She couldn’t look away.
She whimpered softly as her thumb circled your clit, drawing a sharp gasp from you that sent a wave of pride through her. But what really did her in was how fucking wet you were, the way it coated her fingers, the lewd squelching sounds filling the room with every thrust. Her mouth went dry, and her stomach flipped as she watched her fingers disappear inside you over and over again.
“Oh, fuck,” Vi murmured, her voice husky and low, almost as if she were talking to herself. “You’re so—so wet… baby, I—”
She cut herself off with a groan, unable to even form a coherent sentence, too lost in how good you felt clenching around her fingers. Her thumb pressed harder against your clit, rubbing slow circles that had your back arching and your hands clawing at the sheets.
You looked so fucking pretty, it made her head spin.
Vi’s breath was shaky as she moved her fingers faster, desperate to pull you over the edge. Her thumb never faltered, pressing and circling your clit with just the right pressure.
She leaned closer, her forehead brushing yours, her voice soft but needy as she whimpered, “Tell me how good it feels, baby. Please… I need to hear you.”
Your moans spilled from your lips like music to her ears. She couldn’t stop herself, couldn’t slow down—not when she felt the way your wet pussy fluttered around her fingers, not when she could see how close you were.
“It’s so good, Vi—oh my god, it feels so good,” you managed to gasp, your voice breaking as your hips bucked against her hand.
Her focus entirely fixated on you, on the way your body responded to her touch. Her biceps flexed with every thrust into your pussy, the veins in her arms standing out as she poured herself into the task of making you fall apart. She groaned softly as she watched her fingers disappear into you, only to reappear glistening and slick before plunging back inside. The sound of it—the wet squelch—had her nearly delirious.
“So fucking pretty like this, baby.”
Her pace quickened, her fingers curling with precision, hitting that spot that had your back arching off the mattress. Your moans grew louder, less controlled, and Vi swore she could feel your body trembling as your thighs quivered against her.
“V-Vi! I-I’m gonna… cum! Gonna cum—“
“That’s it, pretty girl,” she rasped, her lips parted as she leaned closer, her forehead brushing against your stomach. She looked up briefly, her eyes dark as she took in the sight of you. “You’re so close—I can feel it. Cum for me, yeah? Please, I need to feel you.”
And then it happened.
Your body arched, your moans spilling out in broken cries as you clenched tightly around her fingers. Vi groaned loudly, the sound guttural and needy, as she felt you come undone around her. But she didn’t stop—not yet. Her fingers kept moving, her thumb circling your clit as she worked you through every wave of pleasure, desperate to draw it out for as long as she could.
“Fuck, that’s it,” she whispered, her voice shaky and reverent. “You’re so good for me, baby. So, so good.”
Vi let out a breath, a soft sigh of disbelief, as she pulled her fingers from you slowly after she let you ride out your high, her gaze never leaving your face. Her fingers were glistening with your cum, and she couldn’t help but stare in awe. The way you looked—completely undone, lost in pleasure—had her feeling like she was floating, the reality of what had just happened still sinking in.
Blue eyes traced the curve of your body, watching the way your skin glistened with sweat. She couldn’t help it—her mind blanked, a single thought echoing through her: God, she’s so fucking pretty. She was overwhelmed, feeling like she could never get enough of you, of the way your body responded to her, how perfect you were in her eyes, like you were made just for this. Every movement, every little breath, it was all just… mesmerizing.
She brought her fingers up and slid slowly them into her mouth, her gaze never leaving you as she savored the taste of you on her tongue. Oh, fuck! She needed more. Without thinking, her hands moved quickly, spreading your thighs further apart and her voice came out in a soft, needy whisper.
“Gotta taste you… just real quick,” she murmured so quietly, you barely heard it.
A gasp escaped your lips before you could process anything else, your body already reacting before your mind caught up. Instinctively, your fingers tangled in the strands of Vi’s pink hair, pulling hard, making her groan right into your wet pussy.
This was when you learned that Violet was a messy eater.
Her tongue pressed against folds, inside of you, occasionally sucking around your clit, the feeling of her mouth, wet and needy, sent a shiver through you. You couldn’t help but notice how she lost herself, her sounds louder and messier than you’d expected—like she was devouring you. She slurped everything up and you could feel yourself dripping and soaking her bedsheets beneath you.
God, her tongue felt so fucking good. It was almost too good. Fuck, she’s so good at this.
“V-Vi—” you cried out, your voice trembling, but she didn’t seem to hear you.
You tugged at her hair to let her know you were close, that you were going to cum again, and she didn’t slow down. If anything, it only spurred her on, her mouth sucking and slurping more and more, faster and harder. You cried out, the tension building in your lower body, and before you could even process it, she quickened her pace, her hands shifting from your thighs to intertwine with yours. The way she gripped your hand made you feel like she was holding you in place, ensuring you couldn’t pull away, even if you tried.
“I-I’m cumming again—Fuck—Vi-Violet!”
With a final gasp, your body tensed, waves of pleasure crashing over you. The wave hit you all at once, and you came right on her tongue, your breath ragged, moans slipping from your lips uncontrollably. Vi held you through it, her grip on your hand tightening, her tongue slowing down on your pussy.
After a while, she finally lifted her head up and looked at you, her eyes half-lidded and hazy with exhaustion, a satisfied smile tugging at her lips. Her face was flushed, her skin slick with sweat, and her chin glistened with your cum, like she was wearing it with pride.
She moved slowly, her lips trailing up your body. Her kisses were gentle at first, but the further she traveled, the more urgent they became, each one pressing deeper against your skin, right over each mark and hickey are left behind earlier. She kissed your stomach, your ribs, each kiss a little firmer, a little more hungry, until she reached your chest, her breath mingling with the heat of your skin.
When she finally reached your neck, she paused, her breath shaky against your skin, and you felt the faintest tremor under her fingertips. Then, without warning, she was kissing you again, her lips pressing against yours with a hunger that mirrored the one she’d just left between your legs, whimpering and moaning right into your mouth. You could taste yourself on her lips, a faint sweetness that made your pulse quicken all over again.
When the kiss broke, both of you were breathless, your lips swollen and tingling. Vi pulled back slightly, her eyes heavy-lidded, a soft smile playing on her lips as she gazed down at you.
“I love you,” she said.
You barely caught your breath, the lingering aftershocks from everything that had just passed through your body.
“I love you, too,” you managed to say, the words coming out breathlessly.
Her smile softened, her gaze melting into something tender as she stared down at you.
She bit her lower lip nervously before asking, “Did I do okay?”
You couldn’t help but smile lovingly at her, your heart swelling with affection. Without a word, your hands reached up to brush the mess of pink hair from her face, the softness of the gesture grounding you both in the moment. Her hair was tangled, strands sticking to her skin, but she was beautiful—more than beautiful, especially in this moment where everything felt real and raw.
“It felt… so good, Violet… You were perfect,” you whispered.
She held your gaze, her eyes flickering relief and pride. You leaned up slightly, brushing your lips against her forehead in a tender kiss, as if to reinforce what you’d just said. Perfect. In every way.
Vi’s lips curled into a smug, satisfied smile as she heard you, and you couldn’t help but notice the gleam in her eyes—proud, almost playful, like she knew exactly what she had just done to you. Without missing a beat, she leaned down, pressing soft, teasing kisses along your neck. She let herself collapse on top of you, her body heavy and warm, her muscles wrapping around you firmly. She nuzzled her face into your neck, her breath warm against your skin, close to your ear.
“I… I’m gonna let you rest, but…” Her voice was quiet, almost shy. She paused, just for a moment, before continuing, her words sending a thrill through you, “I wanna go again...“
You looked up at her, eyes widening slightly as you tried to catch your breath. Your arms wrapped around her loosely around her neck, your fingers brushing the hairs at the back of her head. Vi sighed at the feeling, closing her eyes for a brief moment before opening them again to look at you, to plead with her eyes.
“Can we?”
That playful, confident side of her was back again, and you knew then, with absolute certainty, that you were in for a very long night.
