“Speak.” Sirius is standing in front of Regulus with his arms crossed.

“I’m not a dog, Sirius.” Regulus says, rubbing his ear that’s gone numb after Sirius used it to drag him across the room.

“I’m sorry, Your Majesty, please regale us with your ever heroic tale.” Sirius says overdramatically.

“Not much to say.” Regulus shrugs. “I left home, transferred schools and I start here next week.” Sirius just stares at Regulus for a moment.

“That’s it? You left? Just like that?” Sirius asks after a minute.

“Well, I left a note.” Regulus says casually.

“And you thought the best way to tell me this was to accost my best mate?”   

“That part was an accident.” Regulus tells him.

“Happy, right? Happy accident?” James speaks up.

“James, twenty minutes ago you thought he was a crazy person.” Sirius points out.

“I still kind of do. But he’s gorgeous and what’s life without a little risk?” James winks at Regulus.

“You need to sort out your priorities.” Sirius shakes his head at James.

“Plus, he’s related to you, he can’t be that insane.” James continues.  

“That is very flawed reasoning.” Regulus tells James. “Besides, you chose to be friends with him, I should be the one judging your sanity.”

“Don’t worry James, I chose to be your friend too. You’re just as sane as I am.” Sirius pats James on the shoulder.

“That’s a scary thought.” James and Regulus say at the same time and turn to look at each other. James smiles at Regulus and Regulus bites to inside of his cheek to keep himself from smiling back. This only makes James’ smile grow wider.  

“What’s going on here?” Sirius asks, looking back and forth between them. James and Regulus continue to stare at each other for several moments before James clears his throat.

“Sirius… could you… err…” James says and nods his head towards the other room.

“What?” Sirius asks.

“Just…” James nods more firmly.

“What?” Sirius puts his hands on his hips.

“Sirius, just for like two minutes, could you go. in. there.” James nods his head on each of the last words.

“Nice one, James.” Regulus says sarcastically. “Very smooth.”

Sirius glares at James but eventually relents and stomps into James’ bedroom.

“Fine! I’ll be in your bedroom, making no noise and pretending I’m not there.” Sirius slams James’ bedroom door and proceeds to make as much noise as possible.

James and Regulus look at each other and roll their eyes at Sirius’ dramatics.

“So…” James starts. “About giving me your number…” He smiles and takes out his phone.

“You never quit, do you?” Regulus asks.

“Oh, c’mon. I face death.” James nods once again towards Sirius. “In the hope that you will please give me your number.”

“He would never kill you. Only maim, or seriously injure.” Regulus smirks. Then he glares at James for a moment before shaking his head. “I don’t know what you’re up to, but I have a feeling it’s not good.” Regulus finally lets himself smile at James.

“Oh, I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.” James smirks at Regulus.  

Regulus rolls his eyes, but nevertheless, he reaches over and takes James’ phone to add his number.

I just wanna say bc I KNOW you're somewhere on tumblr, to the teenage girl who attended Take Your Kid To Work Day at an office building in Ontario, Canada circa 2013 and had a conversation with a middle aged woman in which you showed her your Black Veil Brides fanart and fanfics and ship content and told her about different fanfic tropes including a/b/o verse bc she happened to know who Panic! at The Disco and Fallout Boy were and thus you felt the need to show her your bandblr ship art, that was my fucking mother and I had to clarify all that to her including looking my mother in the eye and trying to explain a/b/o verse without sounding like a lunatic.

It's been 10 years and I still regularly sent evil energies in your direction. Since you'd be probably two years younger than me and thus legally an adult now, please know if this post reaches you it's on sight.

I HAVE DREAMS SOMETIMES and sometimes those dreams feel like entire movies and i love it so much :D im gonna share the one i had last night

It started with a birds eye view of a forest, in that forest there was a huge clearing surrounded by a wall of rocks. In the center, there was a cave surrounded by purple crystals. Around it was a floating railway high up in the sky that split in half around the wall and connected back together and kept going. There was a voice explaining how this was a forest that belonged to fairies, and that the story didn’t start in the clearing but in a kingdom far away.

It cut to a shot with the main character, let's call her Bee, in some sort of training ground with a bunch of other people. She’s having a sword fight with her rival, Juniper. Bee beats him but everyone else is mad at her for being too rough on Juniper. The Queen comes out and asks for him, and they go to her office. She brings up how her ~3 year old child, Apricot got sick of an unknown illness and stopped eating. It’s getting worse by the day. Juniper blames Bee and how strange things keep happening ever since she appeared in the city. (you know how in dreams you don't need anything explained to you? you just know? this is when my dream told me how The Queen adopted Bee and Juniper, also Juniper's parents who were The Queen's friends are very dead.)

He asks why the Queen wanted to keep Bee right as she ran into the room asking for a rematch. Out of nowhere, The Queen just collapses and dies. Juniper blames Bee for it.

There's a jump to The Queen's funeral, where Bee and Juniper start a fight. Halfway through, time stops for everyone but Juniper. He looks around confused and sees the Queen sitting up from her casket and staring at him. He asks if she’s alive, she says no but she has a request and there's not much time.

She wants him to go to the fairy forest with Bee and Apricot. They have to find what The Queen called "The Gate" and that they will find a cure for her child's illness there. Juniper asks what is going on but The Queen just says they will know it when they see it and to hurry. Juniper then finds himself on the floor of a small shed with Bee standing over him. She says that while they were fighting, he froze and then collapsed. Everyone around them thought he died and started running after her. She grabbed him and ran. Juniper explained what he saw and after a bit of silence, they decided to do it. They basically kidnapped Apricot and left to find the fairy forest.

then i woke up. every time i have had one of these dreams so far, i woke up right as the main characters start their quest. yeah it kinda sucks but a dream has to end at some point right?

in my actual dream none of the characters had names, so i gave them some to make it easier.

i made up Juniper and Bee's names on the spot, but i gave Apricot their name because the only thing i remembered about them was that they had a lot of frizzy red hair. the only other things i remember of the other ones is that Juniper had short black hair and The Queen looked like the queen from Epic (the dreamworks movie) except she had a pixie cut

i had another dream that night, it was about an angry blanket that turned into pants
