For Ron and Ginny I looked for Gallery versions that I think look more like how I envision these characters based on the book descriptions. I was never a fan of the casting choice for them. They need to be 10% cooler.

Fandoms I have been in(I only count the ones where I watched or read all the media for it, looked at fanfiction/fanart for it, and or go back to it because my adhd hyper fixations on things):

Books:

Harry Potter: I loved the books, loved the movies. Saw the last movie with my ex boyfriend when it first came out. It was the Fandom that opened my eyes to fanfiction. Yes I read fics on muggle net.com. I was a big Harmony shipper till I had a big brain moment were I realized I could ship Harry with guys! 😈 And yeah I went down a deep hole of Drarry or Tomarry fics. Luna Lovegood was my favorite female character(she was my spirit animal). I also had an obsession with Snape and reading fics where him and Harry became a found family. Right now I have a tiny obsession with Jegulus. God do I love Regulus Black and the drama of him and James Potter's doomed relationship.

Anime:

Sailor Moon: One of my first animes before I fully realized what anime was. Had the white sailor moon vhs tapes that I would watch all the time. Watch it on toonami whenever it was on. Had a huge crush on Tuxedo Mask. My big day dreams were of me imagining I was like Usagi and I got to be a moon/outer space princess. The fanart for this Fandom was beautiful. Love the cosplay for this fandom. Reason I remember the planets so easily was because of the English Dub theme song.

Fullmetal Alchemist: What made me really love anime. And shipping. Just over all this whole Fandom is everything for me. Edward was my favorite character. Love him so much and related to a lot of his issues. Especially his Daddy and abandonment issues. Royed was my ship, my otp for this Fandom. I remember getting into this because of a friend of mines in my group thearpy gave me the full series of brotherhood on DVD. The rest is history.

Cartoons:

Avatar the last Airbender: Saw this show on Nicktoons growing up. Why did I love it? Honestly because of Zuko. I love Zuko. He's my favorite thing about avatar. And I was so hell of excited when saw the episodes of where he finally joins the gaang! I love season 3! I love the aesthic of the fire nation. Beaches, firebending, political drama!! Learning that not all of the fire nation was evil. The show was so gray and I love that. Ships, any ships with Zuko was the pull(except Mai. Sorry she was my least favorite character. I really didn't like her very much). Honestly I'll read any fic with Zuko as the main character. Just he's my special boy and I love him.

The Owl House: Like Harry Potter, I at first I didn't know if I'd like this show when I gave it a chance. Fortunately I did and God do I love this cartoon! Yes it has tons of problems(mainly the Fandom when it comes to shipping and being toxic when you don't share the same headcanons about ships or found family) but over all I love the characters Luz, King, Eda, Hunter, and Belos. Especially Luz Noceda( she was basically me as as kid so I feel so protective of her. Honestly I do not trust anyone who does not like her). I love the hidden dark family drama between the Wittebanes and Clawthornes. I love Belos as a villian. I love the glyph magic and the idea of Palismans. I love Bad girl rebel Mom Eda and King the titan prince. I love the dark reveal about the golden guards and Hunter. I love the animation. Everything else about the show, including its other forms of magic, other characters(Amity mainly) the romance. Are honestly a big let down compared to everything else. But at least baby gays/younger lgbtq kids can have this show. They can grow up with this representation(even though I personally don't like lumity). I over all have a love hate relationship with this show. I love Luz and ship her with Hunter(my bi otp couple 😍) but over all the show had so much potential that I feel like it kept wasting over stupid ship.

Shera the princes of power: This cartoon is just my happy place. I love Catradora. I love all the girl power, feminism, magic, girly girlness. The silly names. The princesses. Entrapta!!!(my spirit animal and having a cute beauty and the beast type romance!) The angst, the drama, the trauma! The romance!!! The animation! It's just this cartoon is everything to me. I love the fanart for this Fandom and if i had to pick a favorite character it be tied between Catra and Entrapta. My favorite Episode is ' Save the Cat'.

TV Shows:

Criminal Minds: I love this show. This show is what got me into horror movies and true crime. This show was like everything to me as a kid. I've seen all the seasons. This show spiked my interest and fears about the human mind. This show made me seriously wish a male character was actually physically real so I could marry him! Love you Spencer Reid my bisexual nerd you. But in great contrast to the horror of the show, I love how much of a found family the bau team is. I love their banter. It it's just these guys just bring me soo much comfort. Ships I love Emily x any female character because my woman deserves a girlfriend. Spencer x Happiness(or me I'd gladly take him) Morgan x Garcia(they soooo should have been canon). Sometimes I ship Hotch x Rossi, or Hotch and Reid. But over all Hotch deserves some happiness too. Fanfiction for this Fandom I just like reading a few here or there with the bau team being friends in other settings. Mostly college. I'll read any ship as long as it stays in character. Though id read anything with Spencer as the main focus.

Theo Nott (General) Headcanons:

He’s a classic Aquarius; he values freedom, is intelligent, and tends to be slightly detached.

When he first meets people, he’s slow to warm up to them.

Despite being well known around school, he’s more introverted and observant than most of his friends. At social events, you can typically find him off to the side by himself or sticking by his friend group.

He can be… grumpy.

And sarcastic.

And a little cunning.

But he’s also determined, disciplined, focused, and a fast learner.

He has a soft side too!

He’s been through a lot, okay!

Since he lost his mother at a young age, and his father has always been quite cold towards him, Theo’s learned to become self-reliant. So, he HATES asking people for help. He would rather do something the wrong way than ask somebody for help with something.

That being said, he seeks comfort and escapism through reading.

He loves everything from classic literature to fantasy novels.

Once Draco caught him reading “Twilight”. Theo never heard the end of it.

He rolls his eyes whenever Draco brings it up.

Theo’s always been drawn to moody and artistic things. As a kid, he liked Tim Burton movies.

His favorite seasons are autumn and winter because he likes cold, snowy days when he can stay inside and watch a film or read a Stephen King book.

Most of his clothes are dark colors. A deep, dark teal is his favorite shade to wear because it’s the perfect mixture of blue and green.

He wears a big, chunky ring which contains his mother’s birthstone, and he NEVER takes it off.

You’ll usually find him in a sweater with a collared shirt underneath, slacks, and Converse high tops.

When it’s extra cold, he wears a black leather jacket.

Theo secretly has a thing for Ravenclaws. During his 3rd year, he developed a crush on Luna after seeing her in the library, but he never got around to talking to her. He just admired her from afar.

Theo: *staring at Luna*

Draco: “Nott, what on Earth are you doing?”  

Theo: “Huh? What? Nothing…”

Draco: “Er, alright then…”

Theo: *nervously sips water*

Draco: “Anyway, as I was saying, that Lovegood girl is such a freak.”

Theo: *chokes on water*

Luckily, Theo’s gotten a lot more confident since then.

Speaking of secrets, Theo likes to write… but only Blaise and Hermione know about that.

Did I mention that Theo and Hermione are friends?

Although they were wary of each other at first, they slowly grew close by bonding over their shared interests. She brings out a softer side of him.

Ron and Harry never warmed up to Theo though.

Blaise, however, is his closest friend. They’re both introverts who had complex childhoods, so they sort of just understand each other.

Theo & Draco knew each other long before attending Hogwarts. Even though Theo finds him to be obnoxious at times, he looks back on his childhood memories with Draco fondly.

Draco & Pansy like to annoy Theo for fun to try and get a rise out of him.

It usually doesn’t work.  

But when it does work it’s truly… something else.

He bottles up his feelings, so when he lets them out it can be explosive.

Of course, Draco found this hilarious at first… but remember when I said Theo was observant? He knows EVERYONE’S secrets. And if someone really pushes him, he’ll use their secrets to get even with them. Including Draco who learned that lesson the hard way.

On a lighter note, Theo’s a cat person. I imagine him adopting a black cat at some point. It would probably be a girl and he would probably name her after a character from a book that he likes.  

Theo is someone who cares deeply about the people who are close to him despite his initial aloof demeanor.

He’s the kind of person to send letters to his friends or leave notes around for them to find.

He’s got perfectly messy cursive handwriting.

Theo for sure has a pen pal that he’s been writing to for years under a fake name. He shares his poetry, secrets, and short stories with them.

Unlike Blaise and Draco, Theo is not really concerned with his public image.

When he finally does open up to someone, he’s much softer, warmer, and sweeter than he was before.

He’s an insomniac. His eyes are always a little puffy from a lack of sleep.

His cologne smells like sandalwood!!

I fucking love what this fandom has done with Pandora Lovegood. I can’t list all the popular head canons so I’ll just list a few:

- She was best friends with Regulus Black. Just like how James and Sirius acted like brothers, Pandora and Regulus treated each other like family.

-I’ve also seen the joke that Pandora was Regulus’ first kiss, because they were always hanging around each other and everyone already thought they were dating. But, the kiss was super awkward and they decided they were way better as friends.

- She was a pure blood and was either a member of the Lestrange family or the Malfoy family, but ended up getting disowned.

- After being bullied by a bunch of kids in Ravenclaw, Regulus and Barty Crouch jr adopted her and let her sit with the Slytherins at meal time, even if they ended up losing house points because of it.

-She’s the one who comforted Barty through his unrequited crush on Regulus.

-And she comforted Regulus when James started dating Lily.

-Despite being seen as an idiot, she was incredible at Charms, and both her and Regulus were skilled in Defense Against the Dark Arts. She achieved the highest marks in their year. (And she always let Barty cheat off of her).

-She was also incredibly stubborn and had no problem putting Regulus and Barty in their place if they stepped out of line.

When Neville bumps into the nicest girl he's ever had the pleasure of knowing, he's baffled to find out the truth about her house!

Word count: 1500 ish Warnings: None! It's a fluffy feel good fic x

Wandering through Diagon Alley the week before returning to Hogwarts was one of Neville's favourite things. Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley walked beside him pratteling on about anything and everything as the trio browsed for their school supplies and little treats. The summer sun was shining down on them and eerything felt right in Neville's world. Until... "Oof-" Neville felt all of the air being knocked out of his lungs as someone smacked into him.

In front of him stood the most beatiful girl he'd ever laid his eyes on. Your hair shone brightly under the sun and your eyes, which were wide with concern, he could have drowned in.

"Oh jeez, I am so sorry!" the girl in front of him looked up with concern, "I was just completely in my own world," you crouched down to pick up the bag Neville had dropped in shock.

"N-no, I-that's okay, I wasn't paying attention either," Neville managed to get out as you handed him the bag, hands briefly grazing against each other.

"Call it even then?" Her eyes sparkled with mirth as you held out her hand for him to shake, "I'm Y/N, by the way!" 

"Neville,” he took your soft hand in his own and the smile that broke out on your face was mesmirizing.

She smiles like sunshine, he thought.

“It was really nice to meet you Neville but I am already so late and I’d rather not be chewed out by my mother so I have to run!” you grinned up at him, “see you around Hogwarts?” you questioned

“Y-yeah, see you,” he trailed off as you bounded past him, hair flying behind you as you narrowly dodged a few more strangers.

He quickly rushed to catch up with his friends again who had stopped a few meters down the cobblestone street. Ginny was feigning interest in the book store they’d stopped in front of while Luna stared blatently at her friend.

“She was pretty,” Luna observed serenely.

“Yeah, I suppose she was,” Nevilles ears burned and he feared he may be as red as Ginny’s hair. The redhead in question was pressing her lips together to control the laughter he knew would soon come spilling out.

“I think you would make very attractive babies,” Luna said very seriously. Ginny lost it at this and Nevilles face only felt hotter.

“She’s not a Gryffindor is she?” He voiced after his friends had calmed down and started walking again.

“Nah, would’ve recognized her!” Ginny shook her head.

“She’s not in Ravenclaw either,” Luna chimed in as she strolled past a pet store and admired the lizards. “Lot of Nargles following her,” Luna shook her head sadly as if that explained everything. _______________________________

The first few weeks back at school went off without a hitch. No drama, no teachers yelling at him (yet) and best of all double block Herbology.Yet even surrounded by his friends, Neville found himself craning his head at mealtimes looking for a Y/H/C head of hair and that bright smile that haunted his dreams.

So when you strode into his Herbology class a week late, sporting an apologetic look he was all the more intruiged. You stopped at Professor Sprout to have an animated conversation and she offered a sympathetic smile.

“Who shows up a week late to Hogwarts,” Hermione sniffed from beside him where they were working at the same station.

“Y/L/N that’s who,” Lavender Brown hissed across the table shaking her head, “Her parents have donated as much money to this place as the Malfoys, maybe even more.”

Hermione huffed at this and returned to work but Neville’s eyes were glued to the back of your head. When you spun around to stride towards the empty spot across the room his eyes caught the glint of a silver and green tie perfectly knotted on your chest.

“She’s in Slytherin?” He voiced out loud to no one in particular as the Slytherin in question waltzed over to Daphne Greengrass and Pansy Parkinson with a wide grin, embracing them both.

“Duh,” Lavender rolled her eyes with a snort of laughter. As if he was meant to have known.

Neville must have been burning a hole in your head because your gaze snapped up to meet his, his ears turning red once again. Your lips spread into a wide smile as you offered him an excited little wave. Daphne whispered something in your ear at this and you smacked her on the arm good naturedly in response, attention diverted from him once more.

There was just no way that you could be THAT nice and in Slytherin of all houses.

No matter what he did, the rest of the day you occupied Neville’s mind. Your beautiful smile and that stupid green tie. He knew he should just shrug off this little crush he had on you and move on with his day becaue there was no way you would be into a Gryffindor right? Let alone Neville. 

Taking up a table in the back of the library he got to work on some of his more recent homework. Saving Herbology for last, he knew everything else would be abandonded once he got to the project Professor Sprout had assigned.

“There you are! I’ve been looking all over the castle for you,” a voice interrupted his train of thought, “Let me tell you, it is not easy to find one boy in this place. So many hiding places and you were in the library the whole time,” you rambled on as Neville stared at you with wide eyes.

“Me? You were looking for me?” His eyebrows were probably in his hairline by now.

“Yeah! Professor Sprout told me I should ask you to catch me up on the week of work I missed,” you smiled and sat down across the table from him. He felt a sneaking sense of dissapointment, of course it was about school. “She says you’re the most gifted herbologist in the year!”

Neville felt the urge to shrink back at the compliment and pulled out his Herbology notes silently to have something to do. He slid them across the table towards you with a small awkward smile.

“Oh, thank you, but I was actually hoping you could talk me through everything,” You slid the parchment back to him, “I wouldn’t want to just copy your notes, that feels wrong.”

“Oh,” Neville cleared his throat and tried to find words. Any words. “Well-um, yeah, I can do that,” He pulled his notes toward himself and looked over the topics quickly. “We started with the properties of Aconite and how it relates to the wolfsbane potion, since we’ll be covering that in Potions this term...”

Once Neville was on a roll about Herbology it was hard to slow him down. He kept rattling off facts he found interesting and pertinent to the class and was only encouraged when you slid your chair closer to him to read along with his notes over his shoulder.

“And then this week, I’m sure you already know, We’re covering Venomous Tentacula’s which means it’s going to be one hell of a double block,” he chuckled to himself and turned to look at you, only to find you already staring at him with interest. He had to swallow the lump in his throat as his cheeks flushed. You were closer than he’d thought.

“Sprout wasn’t kidding! You’re like some sort of Herbology prodigy,” You grinned and Neville’s blush only darkened at the compliment. “No chance you’d wanna be my partner for the upcoming project would you?” You almost seemed shy asking.

“Oh, um...yeah, I could, I mean yeah that’d be nice,” Neville managed to stutter out.

“Oh good,” you sighed in relief and relaxed against your chair, “I mean I really need all the help I can get in this class.” You let out a light laugh.

And there was that sinking dissapointment again. He had to remind himself you were here for help, not because you liked him.

“Plus, I mean, you seem really sweet,” You smiled over to him hesitantly, “I think I could really like you.” You tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and looked away quickly, a blush of your own creeping onto your face.

“Y-you’re really sweet too,” Neville said finally, finding his voice again, “um the Hogsmeade weekend in a few weeks..would you want to go? With me I mean...as a date?” the words spilled out of his mouth before he could stop them.

He was almost regretting the word vomit when you turned your brillaint smile to him. He relaxed immediately and couldn’t help smile back at you.

“I would love to,” you leaned forward and kissed his cheek softly, “Thank you for asking,” You smiled and sat back in your seat. “Oh shoot I have to go!” You sprang up.

“See you tomorrow?” Neville asked hesitantly.

You nodded quickly, “Meet me here after lunch,” You smiled and turned to leave “See you tomorrow Neville!” You called over your shoulder as Madamme Pinch shushed you on your way out.

A date. Nevilled grinned and leaned back in his chair. He’d asked you on a date and you’d said yes. The girl who smiled like sunshine.

harry’s group chat with his friends:

“Don’t say anything.” Harry said hurriedly.

“Harry you can’t just avoid her.” Ephie said, rolling her eyes. “Plus she just saw me.” Harry turned and saw Cho, his ex girlfriend, walking over to them.

“Hey you guys!” Cho said with a huge smile. “I’m at your table!” Harry groaned internally. “I think they tried to do old friend groups together.” She said, sitting down next to Ephie.

“Hey Cho.” Hermione said, smiling. “It’s so good to see you, how’ve you been?” Cho smiled and shrugged.

“I’ve been Ok! Just graduated and started my first official big kid job… so that’s a bit scary. How are you guys! It’s been so long.” Everyone was making small talk with her and Harry was just nodding along. Truthfully, he wasn’t listening… and maybe he was looking around to see if he could find Draco. He didn’t have a crush on him like all his friends were saying… but he was crazy attracted him. Draco was kind of the reason he knew he liked boys. Harry looked around and he saw two heads of bright blonde hair, one being long and belonging to Luna Lovegood and the other, much shorter, being Draco. Followed by them were a group of people dressed as waiters who he didn’t recognize.

“There’s your lover.” Ron said quietly, so only Harry could hear. Harry kicked him under the table and rolled his eyes.

“Screw you. Don’t say anything Ron, I mean it.” Harry said seriously.

“I would never.” Ron said, but his tone and the look on his face did not ease Harry’s worries.

“I’m going to go over and say hi to Theo and Hannah!” Ron said, standing up. “H wanna walk with me?” Harry nodded, thankful to get away from Cho, and followed him. “Are you really just not gonna say anything to Cho at all tonight?” Ron asked when they were far enough from the table.

“There’s nothing to say. It’s awkward. I haven’t seen her since I broke up with her 5 and a half years ago… so… what am I supposed to say?” Harry said, shrugging.

“I dunno. ‘Hi’ would be a nice start.” Ron said as they approached Hannah and Theo’s table. “Theo! Han! How the hell are you guys?” Ron said as their two old friends stood up and hugged them both.

“Ron, Harry!” Hannah said smiling wide. “Oh my god, it’s so good to see you! I think the last time was… no… not your wedding was it?” Hannah said to Ron. Ron widened his eyes.

“Damn… I think it must’ve been. That’s crazy, we need to have a night out some time, like the old days.” Theo and Hannah nodded. Ron and Hermione had gotten married a little over a year ago.

“How you been Harry? I heard you started working at your dad’s firm!” Theo said, Harry nodded and smiled.

“Yeah! Just this past summer actually, I might be graduating early. It’s been really nice, I like it a lot. What about you, Theo? You like traveled all over the place by the looks of your instagram.” Theo laughed and shrugged.

“Yeah, well, my guy loves traveling. Luckily I can take pictures anywhere! We’re staying put for now though. We just adopted a little boy.” Theo said, smiling wide.

“No fucking way!” Harry said excitedly. It was crazy to him that people his age were getting married and having babies… like on purpose. “That’s amazing, Theo!” Harry pulled him into a tight hug and let Theo tell him all about his new son.

“How are you guys doing tonight?” A tall, pretty woman asked them.

“Hey!” Theo said kindly. “Doing good. You’re Pansy, right?” She nodded with a smile. “Love this place! It’s so cool and the food is always amazing!”

“That’s great to hear! Thanks! I can’t take credit for the food though, that’s all Draco.” She said, gesturing to the beautiful man next to her. He was smiling shyly with an adorable blush. So much for avoiding him.

“Draco, it’s great to see you, man!” Theo said, pulling him into a hug. Draco seemed surprised by this, but hugged him back before quickly pulling away.

“You too. I’m glad you enjoy the food, have you been here before?”

“Yeah! Me and Marcus come here all the time!” Theo responded, Draco nodded with a smile.

“Hey, Draco.” Ron said, shaking his hand. “I don’t think we really talked much in school but I’m Ron.” Ron was sweet for introducing himself, but he was pretty sure that everyone knew who he was. Harry’s friends were joking about Harry being the most popular guy in their school, and maybe that was true, but everyone knew who Ron was too. Draco shook his hand quickly and smiled.

“Who doesn’t know you?” Draco said jokingly. “I think that our class had the first team in about 20 years to win the championship.” Ron raised his eyebrows, clearly not expecting Draco to have that knowledge. “Our whole little town knew all of you guys.” Draco’s eyes flitted to Harry’s for just a moment.

“I’m Harry.” He said, holding his hand out. Draco’s face turned a light pink again and he smiled, grabbing Harry’s hand to shake it.

“Yeah, I think everyone knew you.” Draco said still holding onto his hand. Harry smiled, a step away from a smirk and shrugged.

“Still nice to introduce myself, Draco.” They were still holding onto each other’s hands… and for a moment or two they just looked at each other, until someone cleared their throat. They quickly pulled their hands away and smiled awkwardly.

“Uh right. Well, I’m going to uh… go make the rounds!” Draco said, grabbing Pansy and practically running away. Great.

“That was… so painful to watch.” Hannah said, causing Theo and Ron to laugh.

“What was?” Harry said, thankful that he didn’t blush easily.

“The awkward flirting that just went on.” Theo said through his laughter. “Still got a thing for him then, huh?” Which just made Ron laugh even harder.

“I’m getting a drink. Screw you guys.” And Harry walked up to the bar and sat down, while he waiting for the bartender to get his order.

“What’ll ya have?” Asked a very handsome man.

“Whiskey neat. Please.” Harry said, sounding a bit desperate. The bartender laughed and nodded.

“Not too found of a high school reunion then, huh?” He asked, as he was making Harry’s drink. He finished pouring and slid the cup to Harry. Harry chuckled.

“Just made a bit of a fool of myself in front of… well, it’s not important.” He said, pulling out three dollars and placing it in the tip jar. “Thanks for the drink.” He said, walking back over to the table, really wanting the night to be over before he embarrassed himself again.

Where a young Gryffindor girl learns she’s caught the attention of a certain red-headed Weasley.

To be quite honest, Y/N had no idea the spell she cast on the people around her. She kept quiet and to herself, not wanting to be the center of attention ever. She was a bit of an outcast in her own eyes; though, if you’d ask anyone else she appeared a lone wolf. She was independent and unintentionally intimidating- her kindness shook everyone to their very bones.

Y/N was shy, probably too much for her own good. Often she’d find herself observing the world around her rather than being a part of it. It was entertaining to her to observe the first years tripping over their robes rushing to class, the Whomping Willow swatting flies that landed upon its branches, and the silent scurrying of the trouble-seeking cat, Mrs. Norris.

Neither a Quidditch player or a member of the Slug Club, Professors often got on her back for her lack of involvement. Snape, in particular, always encouraged the young Gryffindor girl to put herself out of her comfort zone. He’d taken her under his wing, seeing how she felt alone and he related to her situation. The moody professor had been there for her from the beginning- encouraging her to keep up on her studies, speak up during class, and to maintain her own backbone through her years at Hogwarts.

“You mustn’t let others tell you what to do, Y/N,” Snape would say to her in his signature monotone voice, his finger wagging in front of her face. Often, he’d ask her to stay after class so he could mentor the young girl. “Your actions are up to you, however, I’d encourage you to learn a little more of the world outside of your books, girl. Life doesn’t stand still- even for the best of us.”

Finally, in her fourth year at Hogwarts, she seemed to have found her footing. Her classmates were shocked to see her hand held high in class so much and even more shocked when they’d hear her ramble about why “exotic seaweed is such a product of its environment, Professor Sprout, and it’s so beautiful how something so delicate underwater can be so vile on land.” After years of observing the world around her, she’d finally felt that she belonged to it. She had gained the courage to make new friends and often found herself discussing philosophy with Luna Lovegood and laughing with Seamus Finnegan as he lit his eyebrows aflame during a spell gone wrong.

For the first time in four years, the young Gryffindor felt surrounded by the love she exuded. Her kindness was no longer just a one way street; her fellow classmates began to smile at her in the hallway and invite her to Quidditch matches, often forcing her to paint her face red and gold in the name of “Gryffindor pride.” First-years and second-years would ask the beautiful girl for tips on how to get on Snape’s good side and even Professor McGonagall marveled at how Y/N had bloomed.

It was during a tutoring session in the library with Hermione Granger, a Second-Year and possibly the brightest witch Y/N had ever met, that she was told about how she had caught a certain red-headed Weasley’s eye.

“You know, Y/N, it has come to my attention that George Weasley is absolutely mad about you,” tutted Hermione with her chin in the air, the paper her quill hovered over long forgotten.

Y/N blushed and pushed her hair behind her ear, “Shut it, Hermione. Gossip won’t pass your OWLs for you, will it?”

“Oh, you’re blushing- I knew it! I just knew it! You’re mad for him, too, aren’t you?”

“That’s none of your business!” Y/N said. “Though, he does look quite dashing today, doesn’t he?” Y/N gazed longingly over to where George sat with Fred and Angelina, not even three rows behind the two gossiping witches.

Y/N had harbored a crush on George Weasley since the second she stepped foot in the Great Hall for the first time. A bunch of bumbling baboons they were- the group of First Years making their way down the main aisle to take part in The Sorting. She had been so nervous. She didn’t care much for Slytherin and was indifferent towards Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. So badly, though, she wanted to be a part of Gryffindor- just as her mother and father were. She was nearly shaking the closer and closer her name got to being called. And finally, Minerva McGonnagall sang out the words she dreaded to hear, “Y/N Y/L/N, it is your time to be sorted. Please take a seat on the stool and place the Sorting Hat atop your head.”

From there it was a blur, she recalls the anxiety choking her as she sat facing the long tables in the Great Hall and how she had crossed her fingers so incredibly tightly in the hope that she would get her wish. What she remembers most vividly, though, is the reassuring smile of George Weasley. Having already been sorted into Gryffindor, he observed the trepidatious girl at the front of the Hall with his fingers crossed behind his back, hoping she might get the house he had been sorted into. Her nervousness made her look particularly pretty, he thought. Luckily for the pair, the Sorting Hat only took about ten seconds to decide her fate- Gryffindor. And so, on their first night at wizardry school, all of the new Gryffindor students sat with each other- their excitement boiling over in wicked smiles and booming laughter.

Y/N never forgot the small act of kindness the boy had shown her and, even though an outsider wouldn’t consider them friends, she always had a soft spot for the mischievous Weasley Twins. George had never paid much attention to her after their first night, though, and Y/N seriously wondered if Hermione knew what she was talking about.

“Well, you see Y/N, I feel it is my business as I am about to oblige you with some important information,” began the scheming girl. “Ron, George’s brother, told Harry who told Luna who told Cho who told me that George has liked you since we got back this year,” spilled Hermione without even taking a breath. “I believe it to be important that you know this since we all feel you and George are practically soulmates and, therefore, should fall madly in love with each other as soon as it is possible to do so.”

Taken aback by all the information that just spewed out of her student (and friend’s) mouth, Y/N sat in silent shock- her jaw dropped, a heavy blush on her cheeks, and a twinkle in her eyes. Hearing that George Weasley, the George Weasley, was keen on Y/N left her gobsmacked and speechless. She was overwhelmed and, as much as she wanted to jump out of her seat and scream happily from the top of her lungs, she found herself frozen.

“Hello- Earth to Y/N,” Hermione snapped her fingers in front of her completely still tutor. The astonished girl (whose face was as red as a beet) snapped back to reality.

“I’m sorry, Hermione, I have to go,” she began shoving all of the miscellaneous papers scattered across the table into her books, picking them up to hold tightly against her chest. “Thank you for telling me, by the way. I’ll see you at the game tonight, right?”

Hermione giggled at how flustered Y/N had become, “Yes, of course. Though, I’m not the only one you’ll be seeing during the game,” she said, wiggling her eyebrows. Y/N rushed away from the library leaving behind one very content and calculated Hermione Granger.

Y/N felt quite badly for leaving poor Hermione in the middle of their study session, but she felt so overwhelmed she wanted to be alone. That’s why when she and Luna made their way to the Quidditch Pitch that night, Y/N made sure to keep her eye out for Hermione. She wanted to apologize for leaving (but also thank her for telling her about George). She’d spent the afternoon wondering if Hermione was fibbing or if the truth had gotten lost in the game of telephone. She came to the conclusion that Hermione wasn’t the kind of person to share information like that unless she was certain it was true.

Making their way up the soaring stands, shoving through the masses of excited students and professors alike, Luna and Y/N made themselves comfortable next to Hermione and her friends, Harry and Ron. Smiling at the trio, the biting wind had them all huddling together for warmth.

“So, Y/N,” started Ron, who was smiling cheesily. “You here to see anyone special? Reckon I’ve never seen you willingly come to a game of Quidditch,” laughed out the younger Weasley.

“Shut it, Ron, this isn’t a laughing matter,” Harry excused his best friend.

Hermione pitched in, “Quite right, Harry, it’s love.” Y/N rolled her eyes, ignoring the younger kids and turning towards the pitch. The Ravenclaw and Gryffindor teams had already flown their broomsticks up towards the sky and Y/N could faintly see Oliver Wood flailing his hands about as if to say, “I don’t know why we have to play if we already know Gryffindor will win.”

Lee Jordan’s voice could be heard as the game came to fruition, “And we’re off!”

It was an intense match- probably the most hot-blooded Hogwarts had ever seen the students compete. It was absolutely hectic on the field and yet, through all of the chaos, Y/N always seemed to find George Weasley.

As she lay in bed that night, she knew sleep wouldn’t dare take over her mind. Her thoughts were all over the place and rest was the last thing she wanted. If it was possible to do so, she wished that she could spend the rest of her life thinking about how handsome George was. He had everything that one could possibly ever want. With wicked humor and quick wit, he always kept everyone on their toes. The more Y/N thought about his wide shoulders, strong arms, and mischievous smile, the more she knew she was in trouble.

If what Hermione had told her ended up being true, she didn’t know how much more silence she could handle from him. She was tired of being the shy and quiet observer and more than anything yearned to gain the affections of her crush. She hadn’t known how to keep her little secret under wraps anymore and she knew that she couldn’t wait much longer for love. Snape was right- time didn’t stand still and Y/N was determined to make the best of it.

For now, though, she decided that this random boost of confidence would be best dealt with in the morning. As she lay resting, her mind drifting from dream to dream about the ginger jokester, she had no clue as to what the future held. But one thing was for certain.

She decided that night that he was the love of her life. He just didn’t know it yet.

Harry Potter queer headcanons (pride day 3)

Golden trio era:

Harry Potter- Bisexual he/him

Cedric was of course his bi awakening, and judging by how he describes male characters in the books, he has a preference for men. Bit of a closeted femboy, doesn’t realise that he actually quite likes acting/looking feminine until he’s out of Hogwarts, and then you bet your ass you’re seeing him in a crop top and painted nails. And low key he totally painted his nails black during his Hogwarts years sometimes, especially fifth year emo Harry.

Ginny Weasley- Bisexual she/they 

Ginny absolutely dated Luna in fourth/fifth year. This is canon no matter who you ship her with, whether it’s Luna or not, there is no universe in which they didn’t date at least once. Possibly genderfluid in that they fluctuate between feeling like a girl, feeling masc-presenting non-binary and feeling fem-presenting non-binary. I can see them wearing very masculine clothes, but also loving their long hair. Like please... Ginny wearing a suit with her long red hair, I think I just became even gayer.

Luna Lovegood- aro/ace, mtf trans (she/her)

I believe that during her relationship with Ginny, she realised that she only saw Ginny as purely platonic, and that’s what their relationship morphed into. I really do feel that Luna connects with people in a platonic way. Romance never meant much to her, and she never found herself being attracted to people either. But she forms such close bonds with certain people, whether it’s Ginny or Rolf (whom I also see as aro/ace). “But Luna has children!” Bro not all kids are biological. Adoption exists. I love the thought of Luna and Rolf’s platonic relationship, deciding to raise these twin boys together. Because can you IMAGINE?? Luna, the literal embodiment of fairycore, and Rolf Scamander- descendant of Newt Scamander- with his menagerie of creatures. Try and give me better sounding parents. I’ll wait.

And Luna is absolutely trans, and I feel like growing up she had a very supportive environment. Her mother treated her like a girl, and would spend ages brushing her long hair and putting flowers in it, and they’d wear matching flowery dresses together, and she spent the evenings with her father gazing at the constellations and learning about astrology until she decided to name herself Luna. All in all, she grew up in a very open household, so her identity never felt like anything she had to hide.

Dean Thomas- bisexual he/they demiboy

I just get he/they vibes from him. I feel like gender doesn’t really matter to him. He walked around Hogwarts with black nail varnish and rings and bracelets and he wasn’t afraid of trying on a skirt every now and again. I wouldn’t say they had much desire to be feminine, they just vibe around, wears what they want and feels like that they/them pronouns suit them as well. Bisexual, because I do think he liked Ginny (and honestly hear me out, I feel like he also had a crush on Luna. They had genuine chemistry in their few interactions). But ultimately he gets together with Seamus because OF COURSE HE DOES.

Seamus Finnigan- gay he/him

I feel like Seamus had quite a lot of internalised homophobia for a bit- I get the feeling that his mam may not have been fully accepting- but Dean would have helped him through it, and in the process Seamus fell head over heels in love with him. Not much else to say except height. difference. couple.

Neville Longbottom- pansexual he/they

I think Neville came to terms with his sexuality way after Hogwarts. It’s not that he had any internalised homophobia (because if you try and tell me that Neville Longbottom would be homophobic in any way I will steal your kneecaps) he was just deeply closeted. But eventually he realised that he just really liked people. Have a conversation with him about plants he’ll probably fall in love with you no matter what your gender is. Also get the impression that he’s rather disconnected from his male identity, so he feels comfortable being referred to as they/them as well as he/him (and actually prefers they/them).

Fred Weasley- aro/ace he/him

Sorry thirst tik tok, but I really get aro/ace vibes from Fred. I feel like his “attraction” to girls is more superficial, a joke really. Honestly, after growing up in the Black family with their hyperfocus on gender roles, especially on them after Sirius was disowned, I can imagine Reg just straight up rejecting gender altogether. As for zeir sexuality, I don’t think even zey knows, but one thing’s for certain, James Potter is HOT.

I feel like she went through the punk rock phase with Sirius, with spiked hair and fishnets and chain smoking, like her and Sirius just f*cking crushing gender norms, name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait. Definitely dated a lot of girls, but she had a crush on Dorcas from like day one, she was just very intimated.

a.n.: Fred Weasley x y/n, just fluff in this one folks<3 How is everyone doing? I hope everything is well, and if it is not, don’t let anything stop you from sharing if you need to! I wrote this one up because it’s a scenario that I will NEVER experince in my life because all real life men are trash exept for Alex Lawther and of course, the rest of my thirty-plus celebrity boyfriend. Lord, I’ve come full circle from 2015. Enjoy, my beauties! 

Reader paints their nails but it takes a long time to dry. Luckily, a certain crush is able to help them with some tasks reader cannot do on their own. No specific gender or house is specified:) 2k words!

For the first time in what felt like forever, everybody in your year had no homework for the weekend, and students had free reign over their plans.

It was Saturday, and you and your friends went to Hogsmeade, where you had found the perfect nail polish. It was in your favorite color and it had a perfect wand for application. Not too dark, not too light. It was perfect and you couldn’t wait to put it on.

That activity would have to wait, though, because all your friends had convinced you to wash up way too early for your liking, as you liked to bathe a bit later at night, and attend a planned party by a friend of another friend, of yet another friend who was in your house.

Your house often had parties. Really often. And today was one of them. However, it was a strange one. Everybody showed up in their loungewear after coming back from the bathrooms, and there was no alcohol. It was just students in sleep shorts and slippers talking among themselves.

You actively participated along with your friend Luna Lovegood, who had just decided to turn in for the night.

“[y/n], I just am so tired. It’s one in the morning, can’t I see you at a more normal time?” She had a soft voice that deemed even softer when she was tired.

“Of course, Luna. Wait for me at the entrance tomorrow, okay?” You said, taking your legs off her lap as she got off the couch, only to curl them up to your stomach as you waved goodbye to your friend. 

You looked around to see who was left at the gathering and one by one people began to either go up the stairs or to just leave.

Now bored, you took the polish that was next to you on the table you had placed it on. You decided to paint your nails.

One by one, you dragged the brush along your nail beds to spread the gorgeous color you had found by surprise, deep in the back of the beauty store you and your friends frequently visited.

You had just finished your first coat when you felt the couch shift a bit. Fred Weasley.

“Hey, George.” You wanted to mess with him.

“Not Geo-” He was interrupted by you.

“I know, Fred. I’m just messing with you.” His reaction softened when you said that. He shook his head and smiled, looking down and then back up at you, running his hand through his short red hair.

You knew the difference between the two brothers. You only knew it because you’d always had a thing for Fred. It made you mad when people mixed the two up, even though they would never know that.

“I don’t know how you do it every time [y/n]. It’s a skill very few possess, even my own family can’t tell the difference like you do sometimes.” He made you blush similarly to the color of his hair, hoping he would never, ever, be able to feel the heat rising to your cheeks. You shrugged and continued onto your second coat of color.

You’d talk with Fred from time to time. Whether it be at a party like this one, or just in class, he was always engaged and interesting- and bloody good to look at, too.

You didn’t know if it was the way his eyes would shine when you told a joke, or when he’d walk you to class just to put a hand on your lower back and waist to say goodbye, but you could say you had a small, teeny, tiny, crush on the boy who was sitting beside you.

“That’s a pretty color.” He leaned over to look closer and smiled as he pulled his head back.

“Thanks, Freddie. I bought it today at Hogsmeade.” 

“Yeah, I know.” You were so confused by that statement.

“What?” You looked up and you saw him slightly scratch the nape of his neck. He brought his hand back down and pointed at the bottle on the table beside you. 

“Well, I saw you today, Y’know, at Hogsmeade.” Now he was turning red. This was something new coming from Fred, you’ve never seen him flustered. You were just so- confused.

“Why didn’t you come over and say something?” You laughed at the boy in front of you. It was more of a nervous laugh rather than a ‘you’re-so-lame-for-not-saying-anything’ laugh.

“Well I’m here now, aren’t I?” He grinned over at you and you shot him a grin back, kicking the leg that was now facing him. He ducked and caught it instead, putting it in his lap just like Luna did.

A short amount of silence bestowed among you two and you dropped your other leg so both of them were draped across his lap. He placed his hands on your upper knee and asked you if this was alright.

“Is this okay, love?” He asked you and slightly shifted his thumb across your knee, not daring to go up unless you had told him so.

You grinned at the replacement of your name.

“It sure is, but just so you know, I’m almost done with these nails.” You raised your hand and waved and wiggled your fingers at him to show off the new color. They made your skin tone pop beautifully.

“Leaving so soon even when I am here? That’s just a mistake, [y/n].” 

“No, Freddie. The mistake was when you came to talk to me so late!” You smirked at your comment as you looked up from your focus. He was full-on cheesing at you at this point, and you felt as if your day was made with that smile.

You were not one to put a crush ahead of agenda, but Fred was just so bloody cute and sweet. You couldn’t help but gush at him. And plus, your legs were currently laying over his lap, slightly bent at the knee, what could you do? Not think about him?

Finishing up your left hand, you screwed the bottle shut and put it on the table behind you. You lifted up both hands to view your work and Fred did the same, his eyes following your hands. You flipped them over so they were now facing palm down on the couch.

He removed his hands from their placement on your knees and he took your hands in his, viewing the art meticulously.

You were now geeking out. Again, you couldn’t help it. It just happened. 

The common room was now only full of maybe five people or so, that included you and Fred on the couch, a kid passed out on the loveseat across from you, and a couple on the stairs just chatting.

“I should get going, Fred. Maybe I’ll see you at breakfast tomorrow?” Unfortunately, you removed your hands and legs away from him and he helped you by lifting your legs up.

“Yeah, for sure.” He was visibly disappointed that your conversation was cut short and his eyesight moved down to the gorgeous chain you had displayed on your neck. It was a thin, gold chain that hung right below your neck but right above your collar bones. It was one of your favorites from Holiday a few years back and you had forgotten to take it off after your hangout at Hogsmeade. “That looks really nice on you. I hadn’t noticed it until now.”

Why was he telling you all this. You shifted your hand to touch it and you thanked him for being sweet.

You reached back to unclasp it, but it was unsuccessful. Your manicure was not dry yet, so if you played with the clasp, it would most likely lead to a smudge on your perfect craft.

“I totally forgot to take it off and now I can’t.” You huffed and dramatized the puffing of air, a deep sign escaping you which in the end both made you laugh.

“Here, let me help, [y/n].” He motioned with his hand but you refused. 

“It’s okay, Fred, really.” But he insisted.

You were not in the mood for an argument, so you complied. You shifted on your seat so your back was towards him, and he scooted a bir closer to you.

He moved a bit of your hair out of the way and his fingers grazed the back of your neck. Only then did you realize how close he was to you. He took the delicate necklace in his fingers and easily unclasped the claw, bringing it down your chest into your hands. His arms were on either side of your head as he brought it down.

You turned around and you thanked him.

“Thank you, Freddie, now my art won’t get ruined!” You were still very close to him, and it made you jumpy in a way that was new for you.

“I only like it when you call me Freddie.” He blurted out. 

You were so confused as to why this boy was being so flirty towards you. You smiled at him and began to stand up.

“Goodnight, Freddie.” He stood up with you and in a burst of spontaneity, you raised yourself on your toes a bit to kiss him on the cheek, holding it for just a second before you came back down to look at him. 

He held his hand by his cheek and looked at you in awe, and you finally realized what you had done. 

The boy was obviously going insane in his brain right now and granted, maybe this wasn’t the best decision. 

You decided to just absolutely make a run for it, and you turned around to head to your dorm room, not a chance in hell you were to look back. You went around the couple that was now making out on the stairs and you made your way up before you felt a hand surround your forearm.

Fred was smart to reach there, as he had remembered that you had just painted your nails.

“Why’d you just leave like that, [y/n]?” He was confused and you were too. He was now at the same step as you and he just looked at you with fire playing in his eyes that gave you butterflies as you looked into them.

“I don’t really know, Fred. I’m sorry.” You began to go up but you were cut off by his lips attaching to yours. You sank into the kiss, indulging in the smell and new-found memory implanted in your brain for life. You tore apart and you just looked into those eyes, again. Fred scanned your face for any sign of displacement and he shifted his hand to your waist again, the same feeling you got when he walked you down the hall.

“I’ve been wanting to do that for a really long time, [y/n].” He murmured towards you. Your faces were close together and it didn’t take much to hear it. You leaned in again and kissed him softly, cursing at the fact that you ran your hands through his hair. You looked down to check if your manicure was ruined, and luckily, it was still in tact.

He chuckled at your panic towards the art and you looked up confused. Realizing, you began to laugh along, bringing the hand you checked up to his cheek to hold it. He sank into it and you smiled at the boy in front of you, still not believing that had just happened to you.

“Goodnight, [y/n]. Thank you for, well, that.” He was unusually sweet, and not as snarky as usual. Not that you missed the snarkiness Fred owned, you were just excited to see this new side of him.

He let go of you and put one leg down just as you leaned down and grabbed his shoulder.

You were being impulsive, but you truly did not want him to leave. Plus, you knew he had no bad intentions.

“Don’t go. At least not yet.” He turned around and you looked up the stairs and down the hall to your dorm. It was one of the closer ones. “Why don’t you maybe, I dunno, stay?” You were risking it all. “I mean, you’re already here, and you’re wearing that, and-” You were rambling so you cut yourself off.

“If you’ll have me,” Fred said with enthusiasm. “Can’t get enough of me in one night, can you? Sleepover it is, I suppose.” You were so happy that your plan worked so you quickly grabbed his hand, nonchalant about your maybe-dry nails, and you ran up the rest of the short stairs up to your room, where you only saw two out of the five of your roommates in your dorm. One of them even had someone laying next to the other, a result of the party, you supposed. 

You placed the necklace on your nightstand in a tray that was it’s usual resting place.

Fred shut the door behind you and you led him to your bed. Just as you were pulling back your sheets, he leaned behind you and placed his body to yours, arms snaking around your waist and his head leaning just a bit down, enough to kiss your temple, moving down to your neck, where he bit slightly but not enough to mark up.

You brought your hands up and you touched him, leaning to your left to look at him behind you.

“I’m really tired, Freddie.” You said. Your voice was now a lot more tiresome than before.

You knew Fred was strong, but this was the last thing you were expecting.

In a matter of seconds, Fred had picked you up bridal style and he laid you on the bed softly, letting your head hit the pillow and your legs to hit a part of the bed that was yet to be pulled back. He slid his hands out from under your knees and back to pull some of the duvets back to cover you up.

“We don’t want to get that manicure ruined, now do we?” You smiled at him and reached for his hand, pulling him.

“You’ll stay?” You looked at him from under and he was unsure about what you had said.

“Are you sure?” He asked you mid-stride to the other side of your bed, longing for your hand once more.

“Yes, now come on, I’m seriously going to pass out.” The window in your room was closed off with curtains, but you could still see the boy’s face in the dark.

“Your wish is my command.” He said kissing the back of your hand and sliding next to you. You let him get positioned comfortably before squishing up next to him so your head was on his chest, where you would dream for the rest of the night about the morning.
