i’d imagine millie would survive by making some kind of a deal with freddy. considering the minigame in the into the pit game it’s implied half of his arm is missing alongside bonbon, i’m thinking eventually she would steer the conversation like

so she’d use that to her advantage and maybe he would give her a week or so to try and find bonbon while dropping rlly vague hints of where he last saw him because he’s torn between genuinely wanting to find him and also wanting millie to fail so he can just kill her. he has no faith she’ll actually find him though so he’s rlly not that helpful and thinks her panic about the situation is really funny. also he’d 100% convince her that if she tried to tell her grandpa or family that the Weird Broken Robot Bear tried to kill her nobody would believe her and at MOST just shrug and tell her not to go near him

and i KNOOW i know he’s programmed to kill but with how broken he is maybe he’s a little messed up in the head and his programming is a liiiittle out of whack rn so he’s able to choose whether or not to kill millie instead of her fate being sealed the moment she’s alone w/ him

but yeah i have a fun silly idea of where bonbon might be also considering the into the pit minigame thing :) this is more than just a CTW AU tbh this is just me fucking around with the fazbear frights books and connecting multiple stories together and having fun. it’s complete bullshit i haven’t actually read any of these stories for myself, im just having fun. shrugs

Equals

One thing i love about house and wilson so much is that they are equals. Like, wilson admires house for who he is and house values wilson’s opinion more than anyone’s, he doesn’t disregard it or calls it stupid, because even if his idea is the same as one of the ducklings’ / or something they’ve already tried, he listens to him so intently and he always manages to grab something enlightening from their conversation to utilise and solve the case.

Also, their love for each other is mutual, both in its size and quality. They both go out of their ways to help the other, even if that costs them their own lives / personal comfort (think of wilson during the tritter arc and house during the finale of season 4). It’s so renewing to see two characters love each other the same amount and with the same intensity, because in most media spaces (mostly mainstream media), it’s obvious that one character loves the other more, they sacrifice more, they bend their own selves more (this is also true for real life relationships). I love that they would both literally (and metaphorically, house i’m looking at you) die for each other, alter the shape of their lives to fit the other person comfortably.

Think of wilson and his enabling tactics, the fact that he knows when to bend and when to stand up to house, because he knows house values him and he’s probably the only person who he’d actually listen to. Wilson isn’t just an enabler, he provides house with the freedom to exist (while also committing malpractice and crimes of various kinds, but that’s the show basically so-), he allows him to unleash and enjoy silly pranks and just- be.

House, on the other hand, constantly tries to get wilson out of his comfort zone, to make him more selfish, because wilson needs that, he needs to be more selfish, for he has literally based his entire personality, his existence, around the foundation of a family or his job. He is so selfless that when he is around other people he mostly doesn’t have a self. He isn’t just kind and sweet, he is deeply insecure and he doesn’t really know what he likes and what he doesn’t, his belief system gets altered whenever he is with his wives or other acquaintances, because getting away from himself is the only thing he feels comfortable with. But house forces him out of that zone, he lets him shout, punch him, be mean, do stupid pranks, let his inner child and demon outside of that carefully crafted cage he’s built inside of him. He allows and encourages wilson to be selfish, even if people say house is the most selfish person. But house lets go of that part of himself (partially, but still) in order to let wilson exist in this bubble of personal satisfaction with him. Or at least pursue it, and enjoy the temporary moments or bliss it gives.

I just- i love that in their own way, they let the other unleash all of the aspects of their being. The good and the bad and the ugly and the silly and the beautiful and the tragic. They are opposites, but are they really? No, they were just forced to hide specific parts of themselves, and for the first time, they found another person, an equal, that allowed them to exist in their fullest.

I started writing this about a month or so ago and only just now had the energy to finish it. I've been wanting to put my feelings about this game, really my thoughts about one thing in particular, into words but every time I started to write I would get sad again so I dunno how coherent this is because of that.

ii Major Veilguard Spoilers Ahead !!

I spent about 20 min ugly crying again because of Veilguard.

Let's get into it.

I'm replaying the entire game slowly just to remind myself of certain story and plot points because everything before the point of no return is a blur; after the shockwave that was the ending I can barely remember what happened during each companion quest... Anyway, I was looking at Varric in the medical ward, after picking up Lucanis and cursing Solas as per usual and I suddenly got really emotional because it dawned on me: it actually feels like I'm mourning a friend. It feels like a piece of my life that has been there for years is gone.

It feels silly to say these things about a pack of pixels but... I went through all the stages of grief

- Denial

My friend is playing as well and he harkened onto a dialogue that Solas says and called Varric's death right in the beginning. I considered it but didn't take his assessment to heart but there were instances where I questioned why he had nothing to say or why his input only came at the end of conversations when Varric always had a cheeky remark at the ready. He still has quips but they aren't Varric. I'm pretty gullible at times and take everything at face value in video games so no I didn't catch the other clues to suggest maybe he wasn't there at all.

- Anger

At Solas, been feeling that a lot. Most of the things wrong with Thedas can be directly or indirectly tied to him, though because he was the one to stab Varric is what I was angry at the most. Stupid Egg

- Bargaining

I thought I could rationalize it: if I played Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition, I could see him all I wanted, Varric had his run and had so much screen time in other games. This is ok. This is fine.

- Depression

This came last and I felt it for at least a week after. I couldn't look at Varric, see him in a cutscene, talk about the game's ending without bursting into tears. I have never played a game that made me feel like this and I give my entire soul to the writers for being able to wrench my heart out.

- Acceptance

I know Varric is just a pile of pixels on a screen. I know he's not real and his death ultimately means nothing in the flow of the universe. But he was such a good character, beloved by so many people, I guess I didn't realize how much I actually loved him as a character. Well, enough to write this sappy post I guess.

I guess I just realized he's really gone. Like, he's there, you can speak to him at certain times but he's not real and he's not coming back. I told myself when I found out he was gonna be in Veilguard that if he died I'd be ok with it cause he's had a good run. We were besties in DA2 and in Inquisition he was a really close friend to the Inquisitor. I didn't expect the reality of his death to hit me so hard.

I think maybe it's how it happened? You don't get confirmation until the very end of the game, before then it's business as usual; some things are weird and maybe you question a few interactions but I didn't really want to believe it. Not until the scene at the end when Rook is in the regret prison, when the camera pans to the door of the medical ward are you finally confronted with reality.

Varric was such a good friend and companion and I will never forgive Solas for his actions. No redemption for you Mr Bald. Well... He is THE God of Lies, Treachery and Deceit, depending on the story. Too bad Varric's story had to end.

I've finished the game a second time earlier this week and I can safely reassure that the ending hit me just as hard. 🫠

More about Aru under the cut!!

To be entirely honest, there isn’t much I’m changing about her apart from her appearance (slightly). I also feel like I could have done a better job talking about things than I did in her previous bio but for the most part, things stay the same. I might just not be great at writing these lmao.

I want to emphasize that Aru is playful, warm, and at times, silly though she can be distant at first. Yes, the transition to the Sengoku Era was rough and Arundhati is fundamentally changed by it ( I believe anyone would be) but while she does become distant / detached at first, she manages to overcome that in time. Her “ruthlessness” and “tunnel vision” (as I put it in this post) all stem from the fact that she was thrown into a hostile world so unlike anything she’s ever known.

I think it’s also worth mentioning that she spent two years with her first mentor/guardian/teacher/boss Mochizuki Chiyome and even though she ended up being a mother-figure to Aru, was not particularly motherly. Chiyome’s training was harsh and it is somewhat of a miracle that Aru could pick up anything at all but it gave her the necessary skills to survive as a ninja in the Sengoku Era.

However, Aru at heart ( and to those who are close to her) is a compassionate person though she struggles to express it initially but give her time and she will find a way to show you she cares by taking the time to learn what it is you like. She’s observant, awkward and if she’s just met you but stick around long enough and you’ll see that she’s actually pretty silly, playful and genuine too.

Now for some Arundhati trivia because it’s important to me:

• She LOVES thrifting

• She has insanely sharp hearing.

• Very fast, agile. Not as strong. She can use a sword pretty well but she really does prefer her poisons.

• Has horrid handwriting. Even Yoshimoto, a man who manages to find beauty in almost everything, is taken aback.

• Her handwriting is so bad that Shingen came close to hiring a member of the Mitsumono specifically to decipher Aru’s reports because they were starting to drive him up a wall.

• The part of her backstory where she’s engaged to a man named Gaël remains the same (you can read more about it here though its not very much as I haven’t written all of it out)

Its worth mentioning that it was an extremely toxic relationship (I simply don’t go in depth in the previous writing of it) that had been falling apart for a long, long time.

• She’s strategic but sometimes said strategy will go out the door if she’s hit with an intense emotion. It’s rare but it happens and when it does, she has to rely solely on whatever skills she has at her disposal to get out of the mess she threw herself into.

(Im bolding the next one bc its so so important (= funny) to me)

• She can keep up with Sasuke’s STEM jokes. Has used physics related pick up lines on him before.

ie. “Sasuke, are you a quasar? …because you’re the hottest thing in the known universe.”

And that’s when he knew she was the one.

They really match each other’s freak in every sense.

Though there are moments where he’ll fluster her and she’ll shut down + vice versa.

• She has tattoos!!

—> A sun design on her left shoulder. Her name written in Tamil in her grandmother’s handwriting on the back of her hand. An intricate flower and another sun pattern on the right side of her hip going down her thigh (a pretty large tattoo at that.)

• She’s allergic to peaches. (but she has eaten some to prove a point to Kenshin. she regretted it afterwards).

i am bringing you the good word about ishiouma aka ishimaru x kokichi, if one desires further explanation please look at their event together in the v3 bonus mode where kokichi is basically flirting with him the entire time all "wow you're really not boring im so glad to have someone here for my evil schemes to go against, hey how about i burn the world down so you can rebuild it better?' like just kiss him already

No explanation needed; I've actually written about them a bit before! 😁

A couple of mini-ideas that popped into my head for them (I can write something in-depth for them at a later date, lol):

Taka and Kokichi both working on a school election. Maybe they're running against each other (in which case, of course Kokichi is up to something there; he almost definitely intends for Taka to win), or maybe Kokichi is directly helping with Taka's campaign, etc.

Taka and Kokichi cleaning a classroom together. Taka has given Kokichi this task for detention, because Kokichi is the one who messed up the room in the first place. Taka is helping, perhaps because Kokichi is pretending he doesn't know how to use a broom. Cue quality time!

Taka is a volunteer chaperone for a field trip the 79th class is taking, and Kokichi keeps causing trouble to get his attention. (This is basically just taking their dynamic at school and moving the setting to an aquarium or something.)

Taka is trying to get students with good grades to tutor students with bad grades, and Kokichi happens to be one of his class's high achievers. Just a conversation between them in which Taka is trying to convince Kokichi to tutor one of his classmates and Kokichi is being silly to prolong the interaction.

Alternatively, Taka tutors Kokichi. Maybe Kokichi genuinely doesn't understand the subject, or maybe he understands everything fine but just doesn't feel motivated to do his work. Either way, Taka can certainly help with that.

Okay, this one's corny, but stay with me here: So, Taka catches Kokichi in the kitchen when he's not supposed to be, and he's making a bunch of sandwiches. Taka chastens him about that, but the food is already made, and it's wrong to waste food, so he lets Kokichi put the sandwiches in a basket, and blah blah blah ultimately this culminates in Kokichi running off, Taka chasing him, and they have a picnic with all the sandwiches because that was Kokichi's plan the whole time. Kokichi tells Taka that it's his birthday so Taka has to eat with him; it's his one wish! And Taka goes along with it and then maybe checks Kokichi's records to see if the birthday thing was true. (Either way, Kokichi's getting a detention for misuse of the kitchen.)

Just the various ways Taka preemptively averts Kokichi's hijinks. Like, maybe Kokichi was about to sneak into a room where he stashed some bottles of spray paint, but Taka is already waiting inside with a stern, knowing look. "Looking for this?" (Taka holds up the spray paint.) Kokichi starts to flee but just ends up stumbling. "Looking for these?" (Taka holds up some wheels.) "When did you steal the wheels from my heelies?!" "Heelies aren't allowed! They scuff the floor!"

i have planned to write a pseudo-essay or some kind of detailed look at linebeck in phantom hourglass and how he can be interpreted as autistic but thats not going very well right now so here are some autistic linebeck headcanons

He has low empathy and as such has a hard time responding very well to emotional situations, but he can take advantage of his lower empathy in situations where empathy could make things harder, like tending to wounds or rationally handling emotionally-charged situations

His coat is a comfort object and he made it specifically to act as a very slight accommodation; it’s heavy and barely lets any light through it, and he can keep all kinds of little things in pockets sewn into the inner lining, but larger objects do make it more uncomfortable to wear at times. It’s mostly good to carry around things to fidget or stim with and can be helpful in trying to recover from overwhelming sensory experiences

He doesn’t usually stim in public, but taps his fingers on tables quickly and tends to rhythmically snap his fingers when excited, and on his ship is more vocal and more willing to stim, even if around others. One of his main stims that he’ll do for no particular reason is that he’ll hold his arm or back of his wrist/hand up to his nose and mouth for the smell.

He masks frequently to please people. His default mask is that arrogant and brave front he puts up for islanders and other he may come across. Usually, if that mask doesn’t work, he tends to double-down because it usually works and, in his experience, dropping the mask has usually gone badly (non masking he’s rude and blunt but more outwardly excited about adventure and his ship and all of that, i consider it where overseas in the game is when he usually isn’t masking. this shifts his arc to be about him learning to stop masking and feel comfortable being himself)

His special interests could include stuff related to treasure hunting but it could really range from stuff about adventuring or the ocean or engineering (relating to his ship) to stuff not at all touched in the game like music. He really enjoys music, listening to it, playing it, and writing it. He also enjoys and is fascinated by shellfish.

When busy or otherwise occupied, he doesn't usually notice when he's hungry. He doesn't have as much of a problem noticing thirst or exhaustion, but feeling hunger is a problem for him, and often leads to him going a long time without eating. On the other hand, he doesn't mind eating the same thing repeatedly and is perfectly fine with blander foods, so handling food supplies for when he'll be overseas for a long time is easy for him.

He knows he's autistic, he's known for a pretty long time, and he has books on it; he also knows that Link is autistic, but doesn't say anything about it and instead waits until someone else tells him. Until (and after, I suppose) Link actually learns that he's autistic Linebeck just makes sure to keep note of what accommodations he might need and if there are any textures or tastes or smells he can't stand. He doesn't have much of a problem helping out during sensory overloads, even soon after meeting him. It's more out of understanding how it feels to not have your needs met and a sort of solidarity rather than actual friendship.
