Anniversary of what, you might be asking yourself. For it has not been a year since our marriage, and it is a bit longer than that since I first cast my eyes upon your adorably confused face. However, if you turn your memory back, you’ll realize that it has been one year since we declared to Nobunaga and Hideyoshi our intention to wed.

Am I truly that sentimental? My dear little one, if you cannot believe in my need to mark this date in our history, then perhaps you will believe that I wished to surprise you by giving you a gift on this day as well. Or… it may also be true that I dearly cherish the memory of… the expression on Hideyoshi’s face after hearing my words. Did you notice the steam emerging from his ears? (I most certainly did).

All humor aside, Little One, you illuminated the darkness of the path I must walk, and while even now, I occasionally question your judgement in finding me worthy of your heart, I can only rejoice that you have done so. There is not one single hair upon your head that I do not adore, even the lock that invariably finds its way to tickle the end of my nose in the middle of the night. From your exasperation when you discover I have divined your thoughts to the soft blush that warms your features when I slip my hand into the small of your back, I always delight in gazing upon you.

I have not failed to notice the hundred little things you do as you try to ease my way through the days. My beloved, you should be aware by now that you need to do nothing, all that I ever wanted was for you to simply be. Be there. Be you. Be mine.

Therefore, today, on the anniversary of our be… trothal, I declare that I will not allow you to do anything except permit me to shower all of my affection upon you. Let this necklace be your only adornment, as we steal some time to ourselves. I have taken the liberty of not only clearing my day, but yours as well, so we may take our time celebrating.

Do you blush to imagine how I intend to lavish you with my full attention? If you are not yet doing so now, be warned that I will put forth my best effort into enticing that lovely blush into existence.

For what better way to not only celebrate the past year, but to also usher in the next one.

Welcome to the fifth annual installment of Visions of Temptation, a multifandom kinktober prompt list/creation challenge! ►Under the cut you will find both lists written down in blank format. You’ll also find a short explanation of some of the lesser-known kinks.
