This is just a thought I had and in no way do I think this is canon or what actually happens in game. But given the fact that the rite of profane ascension is basically just true vampirism with extra steps and benefits, but doesn't have any personality or corruption baked in (besides the understanding that power corrupts and how vampires act in general in DnD). What if, after gaining this power, Astarion doesn't really know what to do with it, so he just plays the part of a powerful vampiric lord. He talks about all the shit vamps can do like running wrongside on rooftops, and in the moment he seems almost kinda nerdy about it imo. He doesn't directly copy Cazador, but he is the only example he has seen. The performative voice, the ambitions, all that jazz. But it's still Astarion just being very overhwelmed with what he has done and all he has gained/lost. And eventually, he settles down and the performative nature slips with time. Or it gets worse as his partner/companions encourage his bad behaviour. Idk about you guys but after analyzing an ungodly amount of A!A dialogue I'm still under the impression that it's just a very confused and overwhelmed Astarion. Who is using his new talents to cope with his life changing in a matter of moments. He's terrified. And his partner/friends can either continue to support him, or confirm what he is so afraid of, that he is just a monster that nobody can stand to be around. If you break up with him or not romance him at all, in the epilogue it's clear he's seems very...Lonely. All that power and nobody to share it with. Nobody by his side. And if you do stay with him and support him. He seems almost surprised. But is very happy and says the player completes him. That all this would mean nothing if they weren't there. He has no reason to lie, they're with him. I think he's being actually very vulnerable in that moment. It's still Astarion.
Just an interesting view on things :3

Imagine Darrel Curtis not wanting kids after Ponyboy and Sodapop.
Imagine, Darrel Curtis, the spitting image of a once amazing father, all the right qualifications to parent a kid just fine, the image of masculinity, not wanting kids.
In the 1960’s no less, a time where the perfect American dream idealistic family was on the rise, and fast. The thought that you were put on this earth to have a happy and successful life, and the way to do that is to have a family. Be a father, or a mother. Raise a child.
When Darrel’s parents die he realizes that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
He’s shopping for groceries when he first realizes how much of a hastle it must be. He’s deciding what to buy, what will cost less to support his brothers when he sees a woman, much older than him, cradling a baby on her hip and a toddler crying behind her. ‘What a hastle..’ he thinks to himself. She’s holding two things in her hands, then reluctantly places one back on the shelf.
He realizes, that’s exactly what he’d just done.
Next it’s a dad at the park, at that small field he and the gang play football. He’s playing catch with his son, throwing a baseball back and forth with it landing firmly in their gloves.
He’s picking up the football tossing it around in his hands because Ponyboy had just left him to go talk to that Shepard kid he just saw walk in.
The father catches the ball one last time before the kid shouts at him, the father gives him a thumbs up as the kid discards the gloves and runs to go hang out with another group of boys.
He realizes, that’s exactly what just happened to him.
Finally, the mother and father with the two twins, a boy and a girl. They look fed up as the two pre-teens bicker in the middle of a parking lot. They’re fighting over the seat of the car they get to sit in, who called shot gun.
They completely disregarded their father who was already climbing into the front seat to sit next to his wife as the argument started. The husband and wife look at each other in annoyance.
He turns back to his truck to find Two-Bit with his feet on the dash, and a distraught looking Ponyboy and annoyed Sodapop in the back seat.
He turns back to the family, choosing to ignore the gang. The mother and father look like they’ve gone through this before, and they’re just about tired of it.
He realizes— things don’t change when you get ‘the dream.’
It’ll always be the same.
He won’t be happier struggling to afford groceries with kids when he already does that.
He won’t be happy being under appreciated by his son, because he already is.
He won’t be happy with petty arguments all the time, because there already are.
He’s not happy like this, he didn’t choose this. And if he had— he still wouldn’t be.

DP x DC prompt #5:
(Let’s completely skip over the fact that I never did #2, hm?)
After seeing a post somewhere about Jazz as Constantine’s daughter, becoming a Warlock, I had ideas:
Court Warlock Jazz
Kind of like a Court Mage, one that handles all things Magic and mystical where as everyone else has the mundane, but Jazz would be delegated to the background instead of the backup.
Jazz, with her focus in psychology and caring nature, much prefers not to be fighting anyways.
Nevertheless, thanks to her progenitor thinking his firstborn makes for wonderful currency when trading with the forces of hell, she has become a brilliant spellcaster with a particular focus in warding off those with evil intentions.
With the High King of the Infinite Realms as her Contracted Patron, Jazz might be safe from being traded off as currency by her progenitor, but part of her new duties as "Court Warlock" include being the delegation between Justice League/Dark and the Infinite Court.
Including the latest drama about some artifact belonging to the Heir of Constantine's bloodline stirring up some trouble in the Living Realm....
#dp x dc#dp x dc au#dpxdc#dc x dp crossover#jazz fenton#john constantine#did you know that constantine comes from a long line of warlocks?#the more you know about the sad trenchcoat man I guess#The wiki keeps flipping between calling him sorcerer and warlock#but he feels more like a warlock to me#I could be completely wrong#I probably am

I don't know if this would work, but i'm still going to throw it out there. What if they exposed the clones during order 66 to droid poppers? would it make the inhibitor chips malfunction? this is presuming that droid poppers would not electrocute organic matter, just shock it.

Guys, I think I finally understanded the real reason—
You know how Og!Cale said that the truth about his mom's death was a part of the deal? Which means, until that moment, he knew his mom didn't die from an accident, but he didn't know who, how, or why.
And you know how Krs!Cale said that Og!Cale hated thieves, gangsters, and so (I don't remember how he put it and English has different worlds with similar but not exact meanings, so correct me if I'm too far away of the meaning).
And then happened the whole thing with Choi Han.
Guys, did Og!Cale think that his mom died by fault of the people/someone from Harris Village or related to it? Probably for the sequels of a robbery?
I mean, other reasons are also probable, but this one makes sense to me. Because, what we know about the incident (AKA, that time og!Cale insulted Choi Han's dead family and got beaten up for it):
A)Cale's mom died in suspicious circumstances.
B)Cale's mom died after something happened in her trip to Harris Village.
C)At that time, Cale didn't know the truth about her death.
D)Choi Han mentioned the people of Harris Village.
I mean, at difference from Krs!Cale, he probably didn't know about White Star nor Arm at that time. The most suspicious people would be the people from the town because of the proximity.

So, I just had the weirdest idea when looking at posts about Boothill. TLDR, what if Arlecchino is the reincarnated form of Boothill’s daughter? There’s the fact that Arlecchino is most definitely some kind of alien who isn’t native to Teyvat. Then there’s the Perinheri novel, which details a potential origin for the House of the Hearth, including references to descenders and themes of rebirth. Not to mention the similarities in their character designs… Idk. Just my brain doing the Pepe Silvia meme after midnight.

I've been keeping a spreadsheet of all of the Magnus Protocol case categorizations and I've just now found the first thread of a theory.
In the selected column, you'll see each code starts with CAT 1, 2, or 3. We've just received our third CAT3 today. I assume CAT is category, and my suspicion is that they're categorized based on their relation to the Magnus Institute and/or Jonah Magnus, a higher number indicating more relevance. The only CAT 3s have been either about the Institute, or read by Augustus, who is heavily theorized to be Jonah himself. If this categorization is based on Magnus relevance, the OIAR must be linked to surveillance of specifically Magnus-related things, or that categorization wouldn't exist. The implications of this? Still up in the air. I'd be willing to bet though, that whatever we hear in next week's episode will be at Least category 3, though I'd love to see our first 4.
#the magnus protocol#tmagp#theory#i could be Completely wrong#but this is the first thread ive found on my own that i havent seen corroberated anywhere else#i also noticed that upon checking my notes that episode 4 had originally said CAT23 (now CAT3)#ironically the episode called taking notes#i could be wrong though

Bro I'm sorry but Mark was so fucking set up. Kramer literally broke him and turned into him into a monster, Jill completely rigs his test because he got Kramer killed (and Amanda, presumably to just maybe actually get out of having to be an apprentice) and than he gets gamed over by Lawrence because Mark has actually lost every last bit of sanity he had? BECAUSE of the actions of Kramer and Jill? Like I get it, he failed his test but this man was set up, the test was never fair. I understand Mark failed his test, he went after Jill and killed her so Lawrence had to act, but holy shit Mark was set up from the jump to just be a pawn in these games.

I got thoughts.
I believe that this scene is not what it could be interpreted as. I'm not of the impression that there are any inappropriate activities here.
What I think is happening is, Koito's having a hard time at school (being bullied) and she is confiding in the teacher. (Kids got problems and they talk to their teachers, all normal.)
Ai walks in and sees it happening. At this moment I don't believe she thinks anything inappropriate was going on but it does upset her. And I understand why.
Being someone who has been in a similar scenario as a teen with a friend of 10yrs, I understand how it can make you feel like a terrible friend. Realising that someone you considered your closest friend would prefer to confide in another person ( or in my case a complete stranger) makes you question a lot of things about yourself.
Granted there are many reasons why someone would choose not to confide in a close friend but that's something you figure out as time passes.
But I understand why Ai has resentment towards Koito. I get it.
I still want more info though. What really was going on? What did she tell the teacher? What did Ai do after she saw them?
Only one way to find out.

if eddie does call him brother, do you think that’s it then? it’s over?
I don't think Eddie will call him brother, like, I really don't think he will, my current bet is a callback to the "this is what it means to be part of a team" or Eddie saying "you're my family" while looking at Buck the way he does, BUT if Eddie does call him brother, my theory is that they will lean into the untraditional family angle. Two straight dudes and a kid and their unusual family. This is gonna get a little meta, but recurring spaces end up becoming secondary characters on the scene, and we are definitely gonna see that in play during the episode because the conflict will start on the court, get intensified in the hangar, or vice versa, maybe get talked about at the station, and it will be resolved in the loft. That's the same escalation of the lawsuit era, it starts in the lawyer office, it intensifies on the grocery store, gets talked about in the station, and it gets resolved in the lofts kitchen. If I'm right this will also be an escalation about the "breakup" on the cemetery, the conflict starts in the cemetery, gets sorta talked about in the station, could be fixed on Buck's kitchen. But what does it mean? The loft kitchen is used a lot as a space Buck feels more comfortable in being vulnerable, you have him talking to Maddie after red, you him talking to Maddie after the bombing, him hanging with Jee, hanging with Chris, the post tsunami scene, the post lawsuit scene, and the feeling the loft kitchen brings is conclusion, like Buck sitting on the counter after he breaks up with Taylor. So unlike things they say in other locations, like Eddie yelling that Buck is exhausting or Buck and the whole "I feel like she sees me" which are things that hurt in the moment but we don't take that seriously because there is an expectation of resolution after, things said in the kitchen tent to have more effect. There's nobody in this world I trust with my son more than you. Also Buck promising to not put them in the situation of the lawsuit again and being there for Eddie and Chris and following through forever. The loft kitchen brings a sense of promise kinda like Eddie's kitchen brings a sense of comfort. And that works with the way they make conversations look more intense than they are. If you take the cemetery scene for instance and put it in one of the kitchens, it would've made it a lot more final than it actually is being in an unknown location. So if we take the elements we do have for the scene, the pulled out chair, the single beer, Buck clearly needing whatever reassurance Eddie is giving him, and you add that to the sense of safety and promise attached to the loft's kitchen, whatever line they draw there will feel final. So if no line is drawn, I don't think the line will be drawn. Because it is the perfect setup to just take them and say, look they are best friends and that's all. If they continue to dance around the line along with the way Eddie is probably gonna drop something like "there's nobody in this world I trust with my son more than you" or "you act like you're expendable but you're wrong" in his very obvious saying I love you without saying the words, while they got there because Buck is jealous, the feeling of the scene will be romantic wether they acknowledge it or not. Even more with the way Taylor kissed Buck in the kitchen, and it's where the date with Natalia happens, so there's this thing with romance that will also come with the low lighting of the scene being similar to scenes with Buck and Taylor and Natalia. So it ends up being a set up that was used with Buck and love interests before in situations that eventually leads to them getting together. So I think whatever happens in that scene will be big in the will they get together or not.

Listen, listen, I'm not complaining AT ALL but why did you draw Kenny so buff!? I wanna bite his arms.
Really he looks soooooo good though! I can't wait to see Stan!
Haha I'm glad you enjoyed it! Um so I learned how to draw from comic books mostly? Especially male anatomy so I've got a nasty habit of drawing big muscles?
I think I've broken that habit for the most part but it looks like it came out a little with Ken.
But to be fair, I think Kenny would secretly be that buff once he started eating properly! If he's running around as a superhero, messing with cars, and lifting heavy things all day I'm sure he's bound to get muscle. I like to think he hides most of it under his parka though, helps hide his identity.
In my Soulmate AU no one knows he's Mysterion. I think maybe Professor Timmy knows, and Karen eventually but that's because she's not an idiot and lives with the goober.
The other way I justify it is his power. I noted in the headcanons that his body reverts back to the moment he got his Soul Synergy. It appeared in his late 20s. So he's at his peak, properly fed, running around as Mysterion. Now whenever he dies he just wakes up at that peak! Another reason he wears the parka is to hide that fact!
Dudes running around like discount Steve Rogers still acting like normal Kenny!
Hey thanks for the ask it was a lot of fun! I love when people pick my brain over the Soulmate AU! And don't you worry! Stan is next, I'm actually really excited to start his sketch!

Say what you want about the Vanessa is an Afton plot twist
But
THE FACT THAT WILLIAM GAVE GARRET'S PLANE TO VANESSA AFTER HE KILLED HIM AND SHE PROBABLY HAD NO IDEA UNTIL SHE MET MIKE HHHNNNNNNNNNNNRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHH
I KNOW RIGHT?? Beyond everything in the movie, that reveal punched me in the gut. I felt so bad for everyone involved (besides William).
And new headcanon:
Mike bought the toy plane for Garrett (maybe by using his allowance, or birthday/Christmas money). It was Garrett's favorite toy - one, because he was fascinated with airplanes/wanted to become a pilot when he grew up. And two, because it was a gift from his big brother.
(I have a feeling that they were both very close before Garrett went missing, despite the age gap).
#answered asks#asks open#asks#fnaf movie#headcanon#i could be completely wrong#wouldn't surprise me#but based on everything we know#Mike is such a good big brother#He saw how much air planes interested his brother and got him (a toy) one to play with

Ok, so, last night during swagginmun's stream, we ended up discussing theories for season 4, one of them being the little stone animal figures. While everyone was talking about constellations, a thought came my mind like... what if they're toys?
Like in the same sense as carved wooden figures kids would play with, what if the stone animal figures were the toys MK used to play with?
