As a fan of both Invincible and Transformers, I need to say that Cybertronians would wipe the floor with the Viltrumite empire in like. A week.

Now don't get me wrong, a 1v1? Viltrumite could break apart a Cybertronian like a bug. But an actual, planet-sized war?

Viltrumites could not infiltrate an inorganic planet the way they can with Earth and similar. Cybertron is canonically not involved in other planets' alliances because theyve just been at war with eachother for millions of years and no organics want any part in that. So, the only strategy Viltrum would have, is to attack head on (and ngl that's been most of their strategies so far anyway. Punching.).

So they attack, they absolutely win the first battle easily, Autobots and Deceptions probably still refuse to work together to face a new threat in most universes (no way would Megs do that, he'd claim they can deal with that themselves). Optimus would offer a peace meeting but when Viltrumites would demand a surrender, that would get blown out of the water, too, and now it's all in.

All I'm going to say is that Cybertronians are way smarter than the smartest Viltrumite. Shockwave himself would whip out a plague that would target their specie specifically in like a week, dude does way worse on his average work day! Soundwave's most basic attack would knock a Viltrumite off of the sky (hell, even his cassettes would do that). At one point a Viltrumite would fly straight through someone's spark and that thing would explode so hard it'd wipe out anyone nearby.

All I'm saying is that the moment Cybertron is able to take a breath and make a plan, Viltrumites are done for. These bots have been fighting eachother for control of their planet for five million years, you really think they'd just surrender it over? To what, some guys that can punch really hard and are slightly tougher than your average organic?

So anyway my headcanon is that Cybertron exists in Invincible universe but literally noone wants to risk getting in contact with them. Viltrum included and they claim it's because they have nothing to gain from an inorganic specie.

u kno, I don’t think that people consider enough the possibility (and very high probability) that Snape wasn’t mean to student’s because he wanted to, but more so because he had to. Not saying they he was nice. That man sure as hell wasn’t nice, especially when reading from Harry’s point of view.

But let’s consider for a moment the objective circumstances: Severus Snape was a past Death Eater, who at 21-ish years old changed sides (something only Dumbledore knew to which extent and the reasons), and knew of the possibility of the Dark Lord coming back because Dumbledore told him, and anyone who listened honestly, that he didn’t believe Voldemort to be truly gone.

Now, Severus Snape knows that Harry Potter, this child who is the Dark Lord’s undoing, is alive and is coming to the school, as probably most of his contemporary schoolmate’s kids are also going, have been there a while and will come for various years after. Snape is still bound to Dumbledore by his promise to be a spy, and is bound to Voldemort by brand. And Dumbledore is highly suspicious shit is about to go down (which u kno, he was rights ‘cause even from the first year lil Harry started Going Through It™️).

Having that background: Severus Snape, Head of Slytherin, and presumed Death Eater (‘cause u kno, spy), who was never known to be openly warm nor kind, who was fiercely bullied and he retaliated when felt necessary, is supposed to seem impartial and nice to all of his students?

Morally, should he had been? Heck yeah. Any decent teacher and adult should.

Realistically, should he had been? Well, if he wanted his cover blown, sure. If he wanted all of the Death Eaters who had children in school questioning the hell out of him, yeah. If he wanted Voldemort suspicious of his alliance and current belief system (which would have been at odds with the Death Eater ideals), uh-huh. But that would have made for a lousy spy at best and disastrous war changing consequences at worst.

And let’s be really honest here: Dumbledore gave him the position as teacher, primarily because he wanted to use Snape as a spy. That was Dumbledore’s priority, not the teaching. Which is a little wild to think coming from a school headmaster, truly.

This theory (which personally extends from theory to canon, because that’s how being a spy works) does not excuse him from how his prejudice blinded him from seeing Harry for Harry and not James (but the case could be made that neither did Sirius, but that’s another topic). That was wild. However, at the same time, he looked out for Harry’s life.

Again, I’m not saying Severus was warm and nice and he certainly acted mean and cruel at moments, particularly with kids from the other three houses. I just think that was part of the tragedy. He had a role to play, he played it perfectly, getting himself branded as a coward and a traitor by the people closest to him. And because of him, they won the war.

I've seen a lot online about how the game never mentions Caterina's abuse of Lucanis while he was growing up (being beaten and starved, which is mentioned in the Wigmaker Job) and I think there's a small mention to it if you're a crow (when asked, he says it was torture training under the first talon and that he resented her for a long time)

And while I do think part of the reason why this isn't brought up is just due to how sanitized this game is when it comes to the crows, I think I do understand why in world wise it's not possible to just be like hey lucanis, fuck your grandma.

It's really hard, loving someone who hurts you. Because you know they're hurting you and yet, you still love them. It's even harder when they're family.

Because its not like Lucanis doesn't know that she hurt him. He says so himself - he hated her, he resented her, and althought I do think him 'justifying' it by saying that at least it prepared him for the life of a crow, at least he still admits that it happened.

But the thing is that despite all this shit, she's still his grandmother. And like, yes, blood shouldn't excuse justifing this behaviour, I feel like it's cultural. Idk how spain or italy works when it comes to family, but here in brazil, you'll hear so many stories of physical abuse happening in families, and its still a situation like Lucanis - i hate them, i resent them, i love them, they're my family.

It's a...complicated situation and I think Lucanis's situation is made worst by the fact that he only has two family members alive and that he cannot let go of.

She beat him, she starved him, he hated and resented her, and he was afraid of dissapointing her, even if in her eyes, i don't think he could. I mean, he comes back an abomination and she still tenderly says 'my poor boy' when you rescue her in the Villa.

All in all...it's tought and I think that it would not be Rook's place to suddenly make Lucanis want to kill his grandma bc he wouldn't. Sorting out those feelings is something he has to do himself, and i'l almost glad the game doesn't make rook do a therapy session with him to talk about it.

Genuinely so curious who Mike thinks is gonna be buying The Cage or the new DCTL GN bc with the way he tweets as far as he's concerned, it's not gonna be:

The queer people he has actively admitted he will never show any representation of in the games.

2. The POC he has actively fought against representing in his franchise. [Who he also mocked for thinking they would be represented in his franchise]

3. The Bendy fandom which has always been concerned with topics of diversity esp in the sense of queer people since its creation. Who he has responded to really poorly esp in regards to the GN.

4. The fans who critique him. [He blocked me for doing so lol]

5. His fans in general who he tweets about like this currently. [He's being vague about why people were mad at him or sent him 'nasty messages' because if you actually looked into why you'd see he was in the wrong. Either way, a very hateful way to speak abt ur own fanbase.]

Reminder while Mike is trash talking his fans he has always treated them rather poorly. The fans who won the fanart contest for Chapter 5 never got their posters actually in game due to it being rushed. Not only was chapter 5 a big slap to the face story wise, but it was literally so rushed he couldn't be bothered to add in the art his fans gave him for his game FOR FREE. [Meatly blames this on a crazy timeline, reminder him and Mike are the literal ceos of this company. The proposal of future updates here is also pretty cruel considering Mike nowadays happily admits he corrupted Chapter 5's source code and therefore literally can't update it At All currently. Because he is a moron]

At least they got to be in Boris and the dark survival, and by that I mean that was the Only game they got to be in so far, isn't that just treating your fans like you love them? Shoving their hard work into a spin off game almost nobody has played or addresses much. [Hell, who knows if with the Lone Wolf rebrand they'll even stay there. In which case they'll be in None of the games, only in the credits of BATIM]

6. The Bendy fans who just generally disagree with him on stuff. Like the new ink demon design where there is literally a public poll showing people generally prefer the old one.

7. The Bendy fans who can see he is actively lying to them. To their fucking faces.

He says this has always been the case, but screenshots and links to tweets regarding the books being canon prove it was not. Does he really think bendy fans are stupid or something? [Unless he's admitting here he lied to Kress when he told her the books were canon which sounds worse!]

8. Anyone who doesn't like the idea of giving money to a guy who laid off tons of employees then afterwards thought it was a great idea to express his anti-union views! Also brag about how good of an employer he was, according to his employees, he was not!

So in summary; Mike is an awful person who has not learned anything from the awful things he did. I will not be purchasing The Cage because, combined with this and his absolute refusal to take any kind of critique or see any differing interpretation of his franchise, I have no reason to think my problems with the franchise will ever be addressed or fixed. I probably will pirate The Cage along with any future Bendy Products [Including the movie] and will do my best to avoid giving it any kind of monetary support. Unless this changes any time soon, I can't see myself making anymore positive Bendy posts soon.

Mike has just managed to make it so hard to speak positively or optimistically of this franchise when he's so willing to broadcast how little he cares about it or its fans. I'm at the point where I refuse to pull any of my punches with my problems with it. What's the point of trying to play nice with my critique when either way the people creating it don't care?

So with this post, I want to invite anyone who feels similarly about the franchise to tell me, make a post or send an ask talking about how all of this makes you feel. It may not change how things are, but genuinely seeing other people share my feelings of anger makes me feel better. It feels nice to see when other people share our same concerns and worries. I'd also love to know if anyone else thinks they'll be avoiding purchasing Bendy products over this.

I'm not forcing anyone to participate in it nor trying to say anyone who doesn't supports mike but genuinely maybe if we can collectively decide to boycott things like the movie, graphic novel and The Cage... It might at least make the bendy devs acknowledge how much they have destroyed their own fandom's faith and trust in them.

The way Mike tweets about his actions like he had no control over why people were mad at him at least proves to me he takes NONE of it back nor regrets it. If you didn't know about his actions and only went off his tweets, you would be led to believe Mike has been needlessly picked apart by fans over things he couldn't control [or in his own words, had his words twisted and taken out of context]. That is not how you speak about your actions if you have actually learned better from them.

anyway, that has been my bendy dev callout post. This is an open invitation to anyone feeling similarly upset about the way the franchise is going to talk about it. It's genuinely nice to see how people feel about this and the more we talk about the more it's likely the bendy devs are forced to address our concerns. I don't think they will but hey, that's why I'm not gonna support them with my money anymore nor am I gonna be nice to them in any content I make critiquing Bendy. I mean I'm also basically making this post just in case anyone asks me Why I feel this way towards to bendy devs/as a way to respond to anyone who thinks I am too harsh in my critique in the future.

As always, it seems the best part of Bendy isn't actually anything about canon but about what the fan's are creating with the ideas Bendy failed to do anything interesting with.

James shifted slightly when he felt an arm wrap around him and an extra weight press against his back. “What're you doing?” James’ voice was slightly muffled, his face half buried into his pillow. A hum answered his words as Keith moved against him. “Getting comfortable.” James only hummed at the words, exhaustion weighing his brain down. James melted into the mixed warmth of his bed and Keith. Exhaustion guiding him into a blissful sleep.

Only to be disturbed when James felt Keith move slightly once more. “Stop moving.” Keith only let out a quiet apology that James barely comprehended. Keith finally settled behind him, allowing James to slowly fall back asleep. James let out a small hum when he felt a set of lips press against the spot between his ear and hairline. “Sleep well.”

When James woke up, he was on his stomach with Keith crushing him slightly. James shifted slightly, stretching his arms out a bit. “Good morning.” James hummed as Keith moved against him. James turned his head so his face wasn't buried in his pillow. He could see a part of Keith's hair out of the corner of his eye. “Bien journée.” James’ words came out barely audible. Keith only hummed, his lips brushing against James’ shoulder.

James moved onto his back when Keith got off of him slightly. Once James was settled, Keith immediately moved to lay with his head on James’ chest. James brought a hand to Keith's longish hair, fingers brushing it out slightly. James hummed when he felt Keith's thumb trace over a hidden scar on his chest. Scars that James was proud of, something James didn't know was possible. “Today is our day off.” James yawned at the words. He didn't believe the words but stayed silent.

While James wanted to stay on schedule, he didn't mind being given a free day off. He closed his eyes as Keith moved against him. James smiled a bit when he felt lips press against the side of his neck. “Going back to bed already?” James hummed at the question, his hand messing with Keith's hair. Keith only smiled against James’ neck. “We could spend the day together instead of you spending the day sleeping?” James hummed again, moving to press his lips against the top of Keith's head. Keith hummed at the action, his teeth grazing the side of James’ neck.

“Maybe later, I'm tired.” Keith hummed again, moving so his forehead was pressed against James’ cheek. James only leaned into the touch, pressing his cheek against it. Keith tangled their legs together, pulling James close as his wing acted as another blanket. “Ok, sleep well.” James only shifted slightly as exhaustion took over. Barely hearing the next thing Keith said.

“I love you.”
