I think that as an aromantic asexual, one of the reasons (among many) that I love Ingo and Emmet is that they both like, go together. You can't have one without the other (Legends Arceus continues later in my mind to reunite them I don't care what canon hasn't said), they're twins. And there's a lot of people who ship the two, which like, I don't care for but you do you I reckon.

So having two characters that love each other very much and praise each other and always go together without a shipping relationship is just nice to have. In a world where every fandom has to have some sexually explicit couple and having it forced upon you it's nice that the majority of submas fans treat them as platonic.

I have a Good Omens side blog, and I considered deleting it because 90% of what is recommended to me is just hornyposting. I'm really close to just blocking the tag because it's mostly stuff that I don't care for. The two main characters are cute together for certain, but stars, can't people just draw them doing anything else? It's completely fine for it to exist definitely, but sometimes it feels like that's the majority of what fandom content is.

So essentially, I like that Ingo and Emmet are an inseparable duo that DOESN'T have ship art shoved in my face constantly and that have a close platonic relationship *steps down from soap box*.
