I feel like this is gonna sound mean but I am assuming you didn't experience romantic love as a teenager if you don't understand why Eddie would go out with Kim. There's nothing wrong with not having lived through teen romance, I'm not saying that, but if you haven't had a very messy relationship with someone as a teenager you will never understand why Eddie would grab on to the idea of Kim like that. I processed the way 17 yo me was in love with an idealized version of the guy in every way possible, I still had a panic attack the first I went back to my town and thought I saw him at a supermarket after a good 2 years without seeing him. And it wasn't him. I still linger around guys who look like him at parties and shit and rationalize it by saying the guy is my type. And he's alive, we weren't married, we didn't have a kid, it was just messy in a way that falling in love with someone can only be when you're a teenager. Eddie has been chasing Shannon since he got introduced, he literally keeps saying he just wants what he had with her, and yes, he's chasing what he remembers, and he has rose colored glasses when it comes to that because he loved her and has no way to get the closure he wants from her, so he wants to believe the relationship could've been perfect. And now he meets someone who looks and sounds just like her. Yk how in 701, Chris says he doesn't remember Shannon's voice anymore? Eddie is obviously losing pieces of Shannon too. And that's part of grieving and losing someone. But Eddie loved her for half his life. And their relationship is frozen in time because she's dead. That's not the type of shit you can let go of. No one who lost someone they loved for half their life would've walked away from that store. No one who watched their first love die would've seen someone who looks exactly like them and just keep walking. It's such a human reaction for Eddie to be curious about Kim. And yes, it's gonna be bad for him in the long run, and it's not fair to Kim, but no one is rational their first love, it comes with the territory. Let the guy make mistakes.

I'm sorry, but there is no way the Carlos we know would be like, "K, yeah, I think it's totally fine if your toddler brother ends up in boarding school for the next 15 years." There's just no way. People are upset at him over this because this is ridiculous.

Why did they make this the only other option for Jonah? They could've been like "Oh, Jonah will be raised by a relative but TK won't be able to see him often and TK has feelings" and then I'd see both sides. But no, they're making Carlos look silly here on purpose. It's just annoying writing.

So, since TikTok banned literally most of Ghost’s music, the majority of my videos will be posted here now.

Certain videos that have applicable, not banned music will be up on TikTok, such as HC’s and such requests.

This ban is really frustrating as a creator. So many of the edits and content that I make is based around certain music. Even when it’s not Ghost’s music itself, there’s other artists whose songs I have used that are also now banned. So many of my videos have been taken down and I don’t want to have to keep remaking them. So this is the best outlet I can come up with.

I just saw the German publishers promote A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske as "grumpy meets sunshine love story". Grumpy? You mean the introvert Edwin who hides all his emotions because he has been bullied ever since he was a little child?

Sunshine? As in "I know how the game of society is played therefore I smile" Robin who takes a job as civil servant because he needs some income to keep is family home and has just been cursed?

i think i pinpointed one of my issues with the interactions between hera and sabine so far (and with the rebels characters currently not present). there’s no feeling of that shared history between them. everything they all went through and everything we saw in rebels, it just didn’t feel like it was there or like it ever happened.

filoni and others involved w the show are trying to make it accessible to average viewers who may not have seen all of clone wars or rebels. (which if you haven’t seen rebels, please I’m begging you, please go watch it). Which, it’s good to cater to a more general audience! stories should stand on their own! but even if i was watching as a casual viewer, i would walk away from these first two eps thinking that sabine and hera had WAY more history with ahsoka than they do with each other.

we see the mural sabine painted of the ghost crew, see the holo of ezra, have dialogue where hera suggests ahsoka go get sabine’s help, but there’s not a lot there to suggest that hera and sabine have a deeper relationship. we don’t even get kanan or zeb’s names mentioned! so casual viewers will be like ‘huh wonder who those other people in the painting are.’

by not talking about the absent ghost crew members or their shared history, hera and sabine feel like strangers. hera’s best scene so far was with chopper, and that’s bc her dialogue suggests that she has history with his shenanigans. even with sabine’s personal history, there was exactly one (1)!!!! mention of her being mandalorian. the rest of the focus has been on this ridiculous jedi padawan arc, once again suggesting more history with ahsoka. all sabine and hera’s mentions and talk of jedi all revolve around ahsoka (except for a tiny bit of ezra), even though the two jedi they spent the most time around and knew well were kanan and ezra.

i’m not saying they needed to infodump about rebels to the wider audience, but completely brushing over the events that happened in their original media makes these characters feel stiff, it’s not fair to them, and it’s an insult to the animated rebels show.
