one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible

like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

am I the only one who can't quite get over that Adoration of the Shepherds With A Donor is. like. a real painting. because for some reason I convinced myself it was made for iwtv like the Marius one but it has a wikipedia page??? and the wiki page even mentions that it's referenced in the show, while leaving out that it's specifically a centerpiece for a monologue about grooming/forced prostitution, so. Palma Vecchio's painting is getting a major injection into modern culture and is now instantly recognizable to a decent-sized niche of people that realistically would not have given a shit about his work otherwise, but only because of a tv show where a fictionalized version of Vecchio was contracted to paint it by a vampire in exchange for getting to fuck said vampire's nonconsenting younger boyfriend who later became an immortal memory-eating theater kid. also the kneeling figure who's Amadeo in the show was the actual donor irl, but he's going to go down in pop culture history as whitewashed Assad Zaman. the vampire Sam Barclay can go fuck himself this is the real RPF shit.

Help. What the actual fuck is my brain?

I watched The Legend of Vox Machina TV show on Amazon Prime recently, and I loved it. Vex and Vax are my favs, especially Vax. I vibe so hard with their sibling relationship, I always love seeing twin dynamics.

Anyways, not the point.

TL;DR: I had a dream last night that was so incredibly gay that it made me ship Percy x Vax (I had never even had an inkling of a romantic thought about them before).

Someone explain to me how I never ONCE even THOUGHT of Vax x Percy as a cute fan/headcanon/whatever ship whatsoever. Someone explain to me how the pair never even crossed my mind. AND YET my brain decided to feed me the most homosexual shit as a dream last night. Like. U guys what the actual fuck.

It wasn’t a super coherent plot line, one of those dreams where it only really makes sense when ur dreaming it, but in hindsight there are so many plot holes it rlly doesn’t follow through. Still, my brain managed to get the emotions down to an art. Basically, Vax get stabbed by this weird poisoned dagger that no magic is able to heal for some reason. The party spends like the next two days trying to find a way to heal him and Percy is rlly taking it hard. Along w/ Vex. The two r very worried. And then right when it’s about to be like kaputs, Percy has this weird revelation and somehow does something or comes up with the answer to save Vax (I rlly wish I could explain how or why but I genuinely have no idea because it made no sense and I barely remember). But like. The crazy part is… it was rlly cute? Like when Vax was waking up and like ‘what happened’ and Percy was like kneeling over him and being a softy and all happy he was alive. And they hold hands.

But like…

U guys why the fuck did my brain do this to me? Because I’m kind of for it now. I don’t even understand how it happened, but now when I think about them I’m just like “aw they’re cute” because of this one stupid dream.

So like… I guess I ship Vax x Percy now. But like… not in the context of the actual show. In this weird fandom dream universe. Wtf. I don’t get it. Actually help. What is my brain?
