I was just told a story from my husband's time in the Marines (which, yes, is quite the wonderful source for literary inspiration ��).

His buddy (who I can't not imagine as a young, overexcited Wrecker) was in charge of the serious putty (C4) to blow a door in preparation for a breach. It was his first time. He used the whole brick. He needed maybe half of a square inch. It leveled the entire building. After a moment of stunned silence, the others promptly relieved him of his remaining munitions. The guy was terrified, so happily let them.

My hubby didn't see the guy again for all of a week after that, and by then, not only had he learned a bit more, but he was unabashedly playing with his spicy play dough, making little animals out of it, saying, and I quote: "A bunny is enough for a door. A duck is enough for a wall. 🙂"

if i could buy any au i wanted i probably wouldn’t because it wouldn’t be authentic and i hate drawing which is kind of a staple of au creation. to me headcanons are more fun if they’re not canon. my little mini idea based on a big idea

Maybe after he sees telling them shit doesn’t work, he starts a radio program where he talks about how bad of a King Lucifer is and how his new Queen sucks even more. And he even invites people too. So the public this time starts giving them a hard time.

And you know why Lucifer and Adam couldn’t do anything violent to Alastor as much as he pisses them off?? Because he’s not doing anything illegal or morally wrong. He’s only “criticizing” them in an irritatingly formal way and sometimes stating the actual wrongs they did before, especially Lucifer’s. Though that doesn’t mean he still isn’t a shit, he often spreads lies to make himself look better and them worse.
